Hi community,I am observing Hardfault exception when trying to program internal flash of stm32g030k6t6 MCU in FAST mode . is there anyother FLASH registers i need to enable ?I have attached the code here static void write_data_to_application(void) { //uint32_t *flash_address = (uint32_t *)FLASH_USER_END_ADDR ; uint32_t flash_address = 0x08007C00 ; HAL_StatusTypeDef status = HAL_OK; HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); status = HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_FAST, (uint32_t)flash_address, (uint64_t)0xDEAD1731); HAL_FLASH_Lock(); } Thanks Narendra C@TDK

Say that HAL_UART_Transmit function is concurrently called by two tasks.So far, I know such a function is blocking, but I am not 100% sure that because of that it shall not be locked before usage if a concurrent task is going to call it.

I followed the secure image tutorials as can be seen in AN4992/AN5054  or in videos made available by ST. The process takes place without errors, as can be seen in the images below (start address is 0x08000000).Smart card is valid and working:However, when trying to burn the image, either via stm32cubeprogrammer or via command line I get the following error:Error: Execution of RSS CMD failed, returned value = 0x1  Has anyone experienced this problem? Any recommendations ?Addtional information:STM32 Trusted Package Creator v2.15.0STM32CubeProgrammer v2.15.0Before programming, I followed the ST recomendation (AN5054)The flash memory is erased.No WRP zone is active, otherwise destroy it.The chip supports security (a security bit must be present in the option bytes).If the security is activated, disable itI used scripts provided by ST and I am attaching a complete log and option bytes (some info were ommited by security reasons).TZM is not enabled and RDP is AA (ok, I know it mea

Hi guys,I really need your help.I'm trying to divide two numbers.. But the result is still 0. Analyzind the disassembling the commands are not those of FPU unit. I enable the FPU in the  Properties/MCU Setting.Here the simple code:uint32_t A = __HAL_TIM_GET_CLOCKDIVISION(&htim3)+1; // result is 1uint32_t B = HAL_RCC_GetPCLK2Freq(); // result is 84000000float D = A/B; // result is 0double E = A / B; // result is 0long double F = A / B; // result is 0double G = 1 / 5; // result is 0uint32_t H = 10/3; // result is 3double I = 10/3; // result is 3Any ideasThanks

I want to send the character array button_image[] through uart of  NUCLEO-H743ZI2  board to the LCM display.Please check the attached button_image.c file for your reference where the array is initialised to corresponding hex data.The array consist of 2076 bytes. I am using  t_bool TransferFlashImage( uint8 *img_data, uint32 img_size, err_code *err); function for flashing the LCM.In my main.c file, I have declared  a pointer as follows:uint8_t *img_data=button_image;Now I am expecting img_data is pointing to all the 2076 bytes. But, It is holding only 4 bytes . I want to send all 2076 bytes through  TransferFlashImage(img_data,img_size,err); so that the LCM will be flashed. Please let me know how I can send all the 2076 bytes to LCM.

Hi Gfx Team,Could Drawable::getRect () in Drawable.hpp const Rect & getRect() const { return rect; } be changed to Rect getRect() const { return rect; }  so it can be used as a parameter in e.g. void Screen::invalidateRect ( Rect & invalidatedArea ) const { container.invalidateRect ( invalidatedArea ); }  With the current implementation one has to write Screen::invalidateRect ( Rect { Drawable::getRect () } );  If not, could you add a variation e.g. Rect getRectValue() const { return rect; } ThanksFerro

as a somewhat naive fool i was thinking, CubeMX and ..IDE is a great tool to create a working basic program, running a chip/soc and its peripherals in short time. And the problems or errors in this tools will be removed sooner or later, leading to an almost perfect tool.So i tried the "new" H563 , on NUCLEO-H563ZI , using SD-card and USB-stick as storage and driving USB-audio-host. ok, it has only one usb-port, so i tried just make an audio-host at first.but surprise, i cannot use FATFS, because no more there in Cube, only Azure rtos and Filex from M**bleep** to choose...ok, so i tried this. Nothing working - what a surprise.And the only existing example is made only for IAR , not easy to get it to stm-IDE in any useful way.So i tried now a new simple project: just use USB-MSC , to connect a USB-stick -- to see, whats missing , to get it activated in my usb-audio-host.But surprise, not working...out of the box. :)see: this its usb handling:yes, really doing nothing. perfect tool.i

Hi,I have plenty of embedded code that was written in a mixture of C/C++ with target of NXP processors, now I am going to port it onto STM32 targets, I wrote a mini class OutputPort as a test in CubeIDE: OutputPort.h: #include "stm32f767xx.h"class OutputPort{public:OutputPort(GPIO_TypeDef* gpio, uint16_t gpioPin);virtual ~OutputPort(); private:GPIO_TypeDef* gpio;uint16_t gpioPin; public:void Toggle();void Set();void Reset();}; OutputPort.cpp: #include "OutputPort.h"#include "stm32f7xx_hal.h" OutputPort::OutputPort(GPIO_TypeDef* gpio, uint16_t gpioPin){this->gpio = gpio;this->gpioPin = gpioPin;}OutputPort::~OutputPort() { }void OutputPort::Toggle() { HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(gpio, gpioPin); }void OutputPort::Set() { HAL_GPIO_WritePin(gpio, gpioPin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); }void OutputPort::Reset() { HAL_GPIO_WritePin(gpio, gpioPin, GPIO_PIN_SET); } main.c :/* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */#include <OutputPort.h>/* USER CODE END Includes */ /

Hello,I wonder if it is or it is not possible to use more than one ADC independet of each other. My problem is as follows: I want to use ADC1 and ADC2  in independent scan conversion nothing works anymore. My code work for ADC1 alone   or ADC2 alone,     uint32_t courant1;// TENSION VIA LE CAPTEUR uint32_t courant2;// TENSION VIA LE CAPTEUR /* Private variables ---------------------------------------------------------*/ ADC_HandleTypeDef hadc2; ADC_HandleTypeDef hadc3; /* Private function prototypes -----------------------------------------------*/ void SystemClock_Config(void); static void MX_GPIO_Init(void); static void MX_ADC2_Init(void); static void MX_ADC3_Init(void); /* USER CODE BEGIN PFP */ void HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback(ADC_HandleTypeDef* hadc) { if (hadc->Instance == ADC3) { courant1=HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc3)*20.5/4096; HAL_ADC_Start_IT(&hadc3); } if (hadc->Instance == ADC2) { courant2=HAL_ADC_GetValue(&amp

Hi Gfx Team,Could you consider adding an option to screen item in Canvas to exclude a screen from build/code generationThanksFerro

Hi Gfx Team,When I try to call Line::setLine ()touchgfx::Line line {}; line.setLine ( .5f, 7, 5.5, 7 );my MSVC compiler saysError C2672 'touchgfx::Line::setLine': no matching overloaded function found Error C2784 'void touchgfx::Line::setLine(T,T,T,T)': could not deduce template argument for 'T' from 'int' Error C2782 'void touchgfx::Line::setLine(T,T,T,T)': template parameter 'T' is ambiguous Error (active) E0304 no instance of function template "touchgfx::Line::setLine" matches the argument list I tried and it seems to help when Line::setLine () is defined like this:template <typename T1, typename T2, typename T3, typename T4> void setLine(T1 startX, T2 startY, T3 endX, T4 endY) { setStart(startX, startY); setEnd(endX, endY); } template <typename T1, class T2> void setStart(T1 x, T2 y) { setStart(CWRUtil::toQ5<T1>(x), CWRUtil::toQ5<T2>(y)); } etc. Do you think you could change function templates to this form ?ThanksFerro

Hello,We encountered a problem with the internal Bootloader of the STM32G0B1KBU6 MCU.ConditionsFirst, the option bytes are set with an STLINK-V3 programming adapter (SWD interface) and CubeProgrammer (2.15.0) according to Pattern 11 of AN2606:nBoot_SEL => uncheckednboot1 => checkednboot0 => uncheckedReproduction1. In our product assembly process:Initial programming of the user software is successful with STLINK-V3 Programming Adapter via SWD interface. Stm32flashtool is used to flash the controller at I2C address 0x5d. Pin PB6 and PB7 are used to access I2C bootloader.2. Trying to reprogram the controller while testing:Now, with the software already running on STM32G0B1KBU6 (verified) we go through the STM bootloader activation Pattern 11 (AN2606, Sec. 4.1) with pulling boot0 and reset low, then pulling boot0 and afterwards reset high.Expected3. MCU is reflashable via I2C bus.Observed3. As soon as the bootloader is addressed by an erase or flash command with the stm32flash too

Hello, I'm studing timers with stm32g071rb and I wanna generate a PWM signal using PA8 pin.At the moment I write this code:GPIOA->MODER &= 0xeffcffff;GPIOA->MODER |= 2<<16; //alternate function mode for PA8GPIOA->OSPEEDR |= 1<<17; //PA8 at high speedGPIOA->AFR[1] |= 2; //alternate function for PA8(TIM1_CH1) rcc->APBENR2 |= RCC_APBENR2_TIM1EN_Msk;rcc->IOPENR |= RCC_IOPENR_GPIOAEN_Msk;timer->ARR = 20;timer->PSC = 16000 - 1;timer->CCR1 = 1;timer->CCMR1 |=  0x60; //PWM mode 1timer->CCMR1 |= TIM_CCMR1_OC1PE_Msk;timer->CR1 |= TIM_CR1_ARPE_Msk;timer->EGR = TIM_EGR_UG_Msk;timer->CCER |= 1 << 0;timer->CR1 |= TIM_CR1_CEN_Msk; I connected an oscilloscope in PA8 pin but there is no signal...Please could you help me?Thanks a lot!

Hello,we use an STM32WB55 with an RTC backup via a super capa.when the Vbat voltage drops below 0.6V, the RTC registers are no longer incremented.if the board reboots at this point, we have a datetime offset.is it possible to detect this problem when the STM32WB55 starts up?thank you in advance for your help

Hello,We are using ST25R3920B as NFC reader for our project. The communication is through SPI between mcu and NFC reader. I configured a GPIO as an interrupt and wrote a callback function for this GPIO.At the end of the callback function, interrupt flag is cleared. Inside this callback function, a task is notified. Before jumping to the task, interrupt flag is cleared at the the end of the callback function.The task I notified will call the "st25r3916CheckForReceivedInterrupts" function.However, I use this GPIO's status (HIGH, LOW) in order to read some registers in the task. Because I clear interrupt, I am not able to read this pin as HIGH. Operating system is FreeRTOS. That's why, I can not put this read operation inside Callback function because I use SPI_send function in this read operation. Problematic part where the GPIO's status is read inside "st25r3916CheckForReceivedInterrupts" function by reading "platformGpioIsHigh".If interrupt flag is not cleared, the syste

Hello Team,I have implemented ADC_DMA (circular mode) Multiple channels in NUCLEO_H745 and in that added ethernet without RTOS when ethernet is implement ADC_DMA is not working it provide only one time data but i have configured for circular mode every 1HZ I need to get new data but after ethernet is implemented I am getting only I time data, So is there any memory mapping I need change any configuration in code?PFA BelowBest Regards,Gagan Gowda G R

Hey, I am using STM32F407 and I am trying to configure the ethernet peripheral (and LWIP) with the cubemx with no success. I cant ping my board.Please anyone can help me with this?

HiI have a problem with my board with STM32L496ZGT6.Some boards works fine (so.. i think there isn't a project problem) some boards are in loop during the power on.I exaplin better:Here a function in main.cpp:  /*Configure the main internal regulator output voltage...............................................*/ if (HAL_PWREx_ControlVoltageScaling(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE2) != HAL_OK) { _Error_Handler(__FILE__, __LINE__); } void _Error_Handler(char *, int) { while(1){} }  If I comment:  /*Configure the main internal regulator output voltage...............................................*/ /* if (HAL_PWREx_ControlVoltageScaling(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE2) != HAL_OK) { _Error_Handler(__FILE__, __LINE__); } /*..... The board power on reguarly so it means: HAL_PWREx_ControlVoltageScaling(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE2) != 0 This is esay but why does this happen?Hardware problem?Here the function HAL_PWREx_ControlVoltageScaling:

I do not have any output via SWV or via COM port debugging using a STM32H723ZGTX.I am using a nucleo ST-link breakoff board to program with no issue.I have tried solutions provided in both following threads:https://community.st.com/t5/other-tools-mcus/no-traceswo-output-on-stm32h7xx/m-p/395490https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-redirect-the-printf-function-to-a-uart-for-debug-messages/ta-p/49865Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hi, is it necesarry to use a crystal oscilator for DFU USB booltloader for STM32F427zit? Can I use a generator instead of crystal? Marcin

Hello,I have finally received a voucher to get a free NUCLEO-H563ZI board when attended workshop "STM32H5: Ultimate combination of performance, integration and affordability".Despite following the procedure provided in mail I'm unable to get past Place Order, no matter what operating system (Windows, Linux, Android) and browser (Firefox, Opera, Chrome/Chromium, Brave) I was using. I assume the coupon is working as the price and shipping has changed to free after applying it. There can be moving bars after clicking the Place Order button, but nothing really happens, no webpage changed, no order confirmation received.After coupon removal the shop allow me to get to payment method, but I don't want to finish this for obvious reason.Is there something I'm doing wrong? Or who should I contact to solve order problem using e-shop?Thank you

I am trying to launch a MC Workbench project targeting a STM32G431CBUx mcu as the controller. I tried to modify an existing control board file to use the STM32G431CBUx as the mcu. I am able to select my custom control board on the selection page, as well as accompanying power and bridge board. However when I click "OK" in the bottom right corner to try to open the project I get a popup with this message: "The hardware selected is not compliant with the selected algorithm. Please review your selections"Wondering why I am getting this error. Is the STM32G431CBUx mcu simply not supported at this time? Is there an alternative way to open an MC Workbench project with my intended target mcu?

Dear All,My questions are1). Does ST25R3911B also support Apple: ECP v2.3 (or later)?.As per the latest apple support doc to enable Apple NFC integration device chipset should support Apple ECP v2.3 (or later) Protocol with ECP 2 polling protocol.Apple Doc link :  https://register.apple.com/resources/docs/apple-pay/access/program-guide/use-cases/access-nfc-transactions/#key-nfc-features   2). Which are the Chipsets from ST, support Apple ECP v2.3 (or later) Protocol?We wanted to integrate Apple ECP v2.3 (or later) Protocol in our NFC enabled device for Apple certifications process. Please let us know. Regards, Gaurav.

Hi all, im using Cube IDE STM32H743ZI2 Evaluation boardim curently sampling ADC2 and storing the output at an internal array using DMAthe array size is uint16_t[100,000]my requirements as to store much more data which means i have to use a diffrent memory sector.i was hoping i could use flash for that matter but the examples that i tried online.i was wondering is that kind of thing even possible?do i need some external flash memory for that matter?my final goal would be storing around 1M samples during about 1-2 seconds  which sums up at about 1Mbwhat is the right approach for that matter?according to the reference manual i should be able to access flash memory via D2->D1 AHB BUSThanks! :)
