I'm trying to find the firmware package for the STM32F7508-DK as referred to in the manual (UM2052) under 2.3. (https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/stm32f7508-dk.html#overview)Is it no longer available since it's decontinued? Does anyone have a copy of the folder? The manual is referring to software other than the STMCube programms, so none of the tutorials are helpful, and I'm hoping to find more information on how to start working with the board.

Good Afternoon Sir/Mam, Sir/Mam, I have a query about the DCMI of STM32U5 Series MCUs. I have read the Datasheet of following MCUs-1)  STM32U5A5VJT6Q2)  STM32U595VJT63)  STM32U595ZJT6Q4)  STM32U5A5AJH65)  STM32U5A5QJI6Q6)  STM32U5A9NJH6Q7)  STM32U5A9ZJT6Q8)  STM32U599VJT69)  STM32U5G9NJH6Q10)  STM32U5G9VJT6Q11)  STM32U5G9ZJT6Q, and, it was written in them that- DCMI of these MCUs is for use with Black & White Camera Modules Only and it is assumed that all preprocessing is pre- performed in the Camera Module. Sir/Mam, it would be very helpful if you could please confirm and verify these both things (Interface with Black & White Camera Modules only and Preprocessing is needed to be pre-  performed in the Camera Module), and if you could please provide any-  websites at which- X24 & X5 Camera Modules would be available at cheapest rates (if any).&nb

1. CubeMX only allows HAL or LL for SPI and other peripherals. STM32C031C6 itself provides the good SPI clock rate.    SPI LL API function only allows two-byte R/W.. The slave STPM34 Meter IC requires 4-Byte SPI R/W. So we have to choose HAL SPI API calls, such as HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive().        However HAL introduces a big delay (15 us or more) between two consecutive HAL SPI-API calls. We need 6 SPI-API calls within 128us for our application,  This big delay inserted by HAL makes it impossible. .2. The only solution is to write the register low level SPI R/W functions. Is it possible to write it under the current CubeMx IDE compiler for STM32C031C6? Could you provide us the solutions? Thanks, Rong

Hi ST, Can you please suggest me the solution of my problem, below is the problem statement I have configured the stm32f446RE oard to use CAN1 in loopback mode, using CAN start in a function but the MSR bit 0 INAK is not resetting in the HAL_CAN_Start APIplease find my code in the attachment i am use 500kbps baudrate.Hoping for your quick response.Note: Tried by increasing the CAN_TIMEOUT_VALUE but the CAN_Sart is not coming out of the while loop   /* Wait the acknowledge */ while ((hcan->Instance->MSR & CAN_MSR_INAK) != 0U) { /* Check for the Timeout */ if ((HAL_GetTick() - tickstart) > CAN_TIMEOUT_VALUE)   Requesting for fast response

I am new to embedded programming and very recently got started with programming the STM32F407G Disc-1 board with STM32CubeIDE(1.12.0).I typical register level program for LED blinking:Blinking the on-board LED - LD4. int main(void){uint32_t *clk_reg = (uint32_t*)0x40023830;uint32_t *D_IO_Mode_reg= (uint32_t*)0x40020C00;uint32_t *D_Out_data_reg= (uint32_t*) 0x40020C14; *clk_reg= *clk_reg|0x08; //port D clock is Enabled*D_IO_Mode_reg = *D_IO_Mode_reg & 0xFCFFFFFF;//clearing of 24 bit*D_IO_Mode_reg = *D_IO_Mode_reg | 0x01000000;//set 24 bit*D_Out_data_reg = *D_Out_data_reg|0X1000; //setting the 12th pin high} After I run the debug session and check the relevant registers, everything looks fine and the LED turns on, as it should be. However, when I terminate the debug session the LED is still ON!!. I plugged out my device from the computer and put it back in, and still the LED is ON. What is going on? Even the onboard reset pin doesn't reset the LED. What is wr

Hello Team, I have imported an example code of CAN protocol in loopback mode but unable to test the signal in DSO and as well as in CAN BUS ANALYZER can you please help me how to check the same in CAN BUS ANALYZER and as well as in the DSO from which pin i should check the signal and where i should connect to check the data in CAN BUS ANALYZER. please help me  Thank you.

Hi,    I am trying to use arm_sqrtf32() function inside my stm32u575 project with firmware package stm32u5v1.4.0 But in DSP folder there is no Lib folders found to add in the IDE , What is the proper way to use these DSP functions from firmware package  Thanks in advance  Regards, Rias

Hello,I'm currently trying to program an STM32F469I-Discovery REV-B-01. I'm using the BSP files from STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.28.0.What I want: Just a white screen with "Hello World" at the top. What I'm facing: Look at the picture. This is my Code:  BSP_LCD_Init(); BSP_TS_Init(800,480); BSP_LCD_LayerDefaultInit(0, 0xC0000000); BSP_LCD_SelectLayer(0); BSP_LCD_DisplayOn(); BSP_LCD_Clear(((uint32_t) 0xFFFFFFFF)); BSP_LCD_SetBackColor(((uint32_t) 0x00000000)); BSP_LCD_SetTextColor(((uint32_t) 0xFFFFFFFF)); sFONT *myfont = &Font24; BSP_LCD_SetFont(myfont); BSP_LCD_Clear(LCD_COLOR_BLACK); BSP_LCD_DisplayStringAt(0, 0, (uint8_t *)"Hello World", 0x01); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(LED1_GPIO_Port, LED1_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET);

I would like to operate two or more ST25R3911 on one microcontroller (STM32F401). Which adaptations of the code from the example are necessary to accomplish this?Is there anyone who has managed this or who could give me some tips ?I am grateful for any help as I am still a beginner in the subject ! Thanks and best regardsThomas

Hello,I'm trying to figure out how to properly use STM32WB55 PKA registers for RSA key generation and encryption/decryption. I have chosen small (63 bit) primes for generating RSA private key, which worked perfectly. However, I am having trouble with encryption. As far as I understand, simple encryption/decryption for RSA is just modular exponentiation using message as a base, public exponent for encryption, private for decryption and a modulus. However, I have wrong result for encryption and can't figure out what I do wrong. Here is pseudocode, how I set up the process: uint32_t message [] = [0x656C6C6F, 0xDD810048, 0x6D1F8EDA, 0x12327939]; uint32_t public_exp [] = [0x00010001, 0, 0, 0]; // 65537 uint32_t modulus [] = [0x1b8abb91, 0xe2c25d78, 0x5f41a975, 0x90275365]; // Calculated from primes PKA->enable(); PKA->set_mode(MontgomeryParameterComputationThenModularExponentiation); PKA->ram(0x400).write(32); // Exponent length, tried changing it already, many times PKA->ra

Hello,I'm interested in those tags but I'd like to know if they do offer a tamper detection feature ? (like ST25TV)Compared to TruST25™ Edge, what are the differences with TruST25™ Digital Signature? And is it possible to receive some samples ?Thanks for your help

Hello, I am working on CAN communication which is between various STM32G474 controllers. As the product is power electronics, we are facing noise issue which disturb the CAN communication and hence product is not working properly.  We are thinking to add fiber optic in between all CAN communication. Means CAN to fiber optic at one end and fiber optic to CAN at other end. we also need optical splitter to share the fiber optic between various controllers of the system. If any have done this before then please let us know how to proceed ahead. Thanks, Nikhil

My question might be dumb, but I just received my STM32H747I-DISCO chip and plugged it to my computer and I would like to know what to do next in order to use it, what could be a starting guide (how to launch a code on it, how to use a model on it). I am a bit lost between all the documentations on the websiteThank you in advance!

Hello community, has anyone encountered  DEV_TARGET_HELD_UNDER_RESET issues with a Nucleo Board (ST-Link V3) ?I have multiple Nucleo H723ZG and for some reason I can't connect to any of them since a few days.I have tried:swapping USB cables and adaptersusing a docking station or the notebook ports themselvesexternal power supply vs. power supply over USBapplying the board reset jumper and the ST-Link reset jumpertrying to first power-up, then connect to computerthe ST-Link Upgrade tooldifferent IDE like VScode, STM32CubeIDEserial COM tools like Minicomturning off the computer and starting againWith all the combination I can max. achieve to see the board in the COM port (e.g. as /dev/tty.usbmodem21103), nothing more. Some boards draw 0.35A from remote which I find high, others only 0.1A. Others draw 500mA from the USB; which I find very high. It appears as if this is an issue with my computer...        STLINK-V3:          Product ID:

Hi,I'm using STM32G432RB Nucleo board with X-NUCLEO-IHM16M1, and connecting a 3-phase DCBL motor (RaceStart BR2205, which requests 7.4V - 14.8V).Followed with the instructions in UM2415. I used a power supply with 12V/2A on X-NUCLEO-IHM16M1.D1 EN/FAULT LED is always red, and D8/9/10, Motor Phase LEDs are never turned On, before or after I pressed the Blue Button (Start/Stop Motor) (on STM32G432RB Nucleo board). Here is how I generated the code:MC Workbench 6.3.0, FOC/3 ShuntSTM32CubeMX 6.10.0, STM32Cube FW_G4 V1.5.2MDK-ARM V5.32No error in each of these steps of the project and the code generation. When I pressed the Blue Button (Start Motor) (on STM32G432RB Nucleo board), I saw PC13 (Start/Stop pin) generated a pulse.Am I missing anything in the setup?

Hello everyone,I am working on a custom board equipped with the STM32G0B1RE microcontroller. I did not design this board, but it has the following characteristics: - the microcontroller is powered at 1.8V, - the USB pins are enabled with the following configuration: And the USB device mode and configuration: On the hardware level, the board does not have any ESD protection, but the USB data lines go directly into the microcontroller, according to the following schematic:I tried connecting the board to the PC to send data via USB and simply used these two lines of code found online:#include "usb_device.h"#include "usbd_cdc_if.h"....char *data = "USB CDC\n";...int main(void){...MX_USB_Device_Init();...while(1) {CDC_Transmit_FS(data, strlen(data));HAL_Delay (1000);}}However, the communication does not work, and the PC always says "USB device not recognized."How can I get this to work?PS: unfortunately, the board does not have an HSE but only an HSI. Here is the USB clock tree:Th

I kept coming back to this website to download the STM32 Cube IDE and the servers would always be down once I tried to log in and download it.I've noticed some forums from 2019 mentioning similar problems with how slow the website is responding, so it's great to see that this website is still suffering from network maintenance and bad optimization...Seriously, what is wrong with this website ?? literally had to wait a few days to download the IDE, and now I'm trying to download the STM32CubeMX and this website still pends forever... I can click on buttons and functionalities, but this slow website is always unresponsive when it comes to downloading stuff

Hello,I am currently in the process of writing EEPROM emulation for stm32h743. The library works mostly correctly but due to unfortunate timing of downloading file through IDE flash is not properly initialized effectively making one of the sectors invalid to use. If I use stm32CubeProgrammer and attach to running device everything works as expected. The sector memory (0x81E0000), looks like on the screenshot below, and the amount of rows filled with zeros depends on VOLTAGE_RANGE (more info later):the function is initialized just after configuring all peripherials (eeh_Init():(LED diode was used for troubleshooting process. It lights up for about 400ms, if eeh_Init() is allowed to finish. But when I start the debug session with binary file to download it lights up for way shorter time. The amount of zeros depends on the VOLTAGE_RANGE mentioned before, used for erasing data:My guess is that downloading binary file to microcontroller when using ide makes the code run for some amount of time

Hi ST,Currently, I'm testing the BDMA on SPI6 with the STM32H753. The SPI transmission works as expected when using the base flash address at 0x08000000. I need to place the application code at address 0x08100200. However, when I change the vector table offset and linker flash address to 0x08100200, the system enters an infinite loop whenever I transmit the buffer using BDMA SPI6Please follow the test cases below for more details:Procedure:Create the STM32H753VITx project.Change the vector offset and linker flash address to 0x08100200:   - Vector table offset and linker file settings:- linker flash address:3. Specify the memory region SRAM_4 for the transmission buffer in the linker file. .dma_buffer : /* Space before ':' is critical */ { *(.dma_buffer) } >RAM_D3 4. In the main.c uint8_t buff[256] __attribute__((section(".dma_buffer")));int main(void){....  HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA(&hspi6, buff, sizeof(buff));  uint32_t timeout = 200000;&nbsp

Hello,I am working with the LSM6DSV16X IMU sensor and interfacing it using SPI mode 3 on an STM32 microcontroller(STM32F446RE) with STM32CubeIDE. My SPI configuration is set with CPOL = High and CPHA = 2nd edge, and I have set the baud rate prescaler to 4, resulting in a baud rate of 10 MBits/s.Before reading the WHO_AM_I register, I configure certain registers as follows:if (spi_write_register(CTRL3_REG, 0x45) != SUCCESS) return ERROR;if (spi_write_register(FUNC_CFG_ACCESS_REG, 0x00) != SUCCESS) return ERROR;However, when I attempt to read the WHO_AM_I register, I consistently receive 0x80 instead of the expected 0x70.Here is a summary of my setup and the issue:SPI mode: Mode 3 (CPOL = High, CPHA = 2nd edge)Baud rate: 10 MBits/s (prescaler = 4)Initial register configurations:CTRL3_REG = 0x05FUNC_CFG_ACCESS_REG = 0x00Could anyone suggest potential reasons for this discrepancy or any troubleshooting steps I should take?Thank you!

Hello team,I’m working with an STM32H745iik6/ Nucleo-H745ziq microcontroller and currently using USB DFU mode to upload firmware. The process involves setting BOOT0 to 1 and performing a manual reset to enter DFU mode. After uploading the new firmware, I manually set BOOT0 back to 0 and reset the board again to run the user application.otherwise any ST software like stm32cubepgm to select DFU mode or user_apllication mode?Current Approach:Enter DFU Mode:Set BOOT0 to 1.Perform a manual reset.Upload Firmware via USB DFU.Run User Application:Set BOOT0 to 0.Perform another manual reset.Goal:I want to automate this process entirely through software without the need for physical interaction. Specifically, I’m looking for a way to:Switch to DFU mode using software.Upload new firmware.Automatically return to the user application after the firmware upload. Is it possible to switch between DFU mode and the user application purely through software on STM32 microcontrollers? If so, can someone provi

I use NUCLEO-F722ZE and STM32CubeIDE.When I set SDMMC1 to SD 4bits wide bus, the RCC shows a warning “partly disabled conflict with : SDMMC1 : SD 4bits wide bus”. At this time, when I wrote a program on the board and operated it, “FR_DISK_ERR” occurred. Is the error caused by RCC warning?

I'm working on the STM32WL55 Nucleo-64, starting from the LoRaWAN_End_Node.I performed a hexdump and noticed that the ELF file generated at the end of the compilation process contains a significant recurrence of absolute paths, as shown in the picture below. I tried using the menu "Properties->Path and Symbols->Includes" to include all the paths through the workspace to avoid the absolute paths.  What did I do wrong? How can I generate an ELF file containing only relative paths?Thank you in advance.
