I am using STM32G431cbtx and enabling RCC_MCO. Since the STM32G4 supports two pins, PA8 and PG10, PA8 is being used for another function, and I am using PG10 for RCC_MCO. However, when measuring the voltage on pin PG10, it is always high. Can anyone explain it to me?

Dear engineers,I hope this message finds you well. I am currently encountering an issue with the internal connection feature from DAC to ADC in CubeMX. Specifically, I cannot locate the ADC2 IN16 in the interface, and upon setting up the IN17: VDAC1_OUT2 Channel, CubeMX continuously loads without completing the process.I have attempted to resolve this issue by using different versions of CubeMX, starting a new project, and even testing it on various computers, yet the problem persists. Could this be a bug in the software, or might I be missing a step in the setup process?Thank you for looking into this matter and for your ongoing support.

Hello,IntroductionI would like to profile a motor which is not in the motors tab in MC Workbench. I have done some Googling and reviewed the ST documentation (STM32 Motor Control SDK > Motor Profiler Application Note) but have not found the solution to my problem.Problem DescriptionBecause the motor I'm using is not provided in an ST development pack I did the following:New Project > Modular > 1 Motor > FOC > NextMy motor is not in the list so I click next to select the power board (IHM08M1) and control board (F302R8). That's as far as I can get because without selecting a motor I can't create the project and generate code. The motor I want to profile is a Dualsky XM4240CA-12 (11.1V, 850 kV). It's an ordinary brushless outrunner. How can I do this? The hardware and software I'm using are:Hardware:    Control Board:Nucleo F302R8    Power Board: IHM08M1    Motor: Dualsky XM4240CA-12 (11.1V, 850 kV)Software:    MC Workbench 6.

I am working in touch GFX 4.21.1I do not know if it is the product of the version I am working in but I need to use wildcard characters. By all the posts and examples I have seen I am told they are generated in the #name#ViewBase.hpp file. Sadly I have not been able to replicate this behavior. I want to use Unicode::snprintf. All example I see use the generated variables. I think I could just make the variables myself in the view.h file. If I don't have to, so they can update depending on how the view updates, that would be preferred. If there is any advice on this subject please let me know.I will also preference that the touchgfx::TextAreaWithOneWildcard does generate appropriately. Only the buffer and size are missing to my best knowledge.Thank you for your time.

Edit: I have resolved this by restarting cube. I think the filters were blocking before because the default filters hid some configurations. This time (after reset) when I removed filters, the launch configurations appeared.Edit 2: Fully solved. When I opened the workspace, cubeIDE renamed all of the projects to be lowercase. The .elf's it was looking for therefore did not exist. I'm not sure why cubeIDE re-named the projects, this causes issues in a few places. After upgrading STM32CubeIDE from version 1.15 to version 1.16.0, the launch configurations for my project are no longer visible in the Run Configurations dialog. Although the configurations appear in the Project Explorer, attempting to run them results in an internal error.Steps to Reproduce:Open an existing workspace created in STM32CubeIDE version 1.15 in STM32CubeIDE version 1.16.0.Ensure that the project has launch configurations.Navigate to Run > Run Configurations... and observe that the launch configurations are missi

Hi,I bought an EVB-LIV4F to evaluate LIV4F and I have sent two emails to st-teseo-suite-support@st.com to request activation code. Unfortunately, I haven't received any response. Is it possible to check whether ST has received my request? Thanks.

Hi All,I am working at project with STM32H7 and NetX Duo. At current version of Ethernet driver from ST (X-CUBE-AZRTOS-H7 v3.0.0) is not handled by any way state when link is disconnected. Link status variable nx_interface_link_up is set at "Enable Link" (nx_ip_driver_command=NX_LINK_ENABLE) and "Disable Link" (nx_ip_driver_command=NX_LINK_DISABLE). But there is no modification of this variable when phy-link goes down.Should be control of this variable implemented into driver, when I detect link down via MDIO interface? Or it is OK do not set nx_interface_link_up when link is physical down (e.g. disconnected Ethernet cable)? In case of control of nx_interface_link_up should be implemented, what is best place inside driver (NX_LINK_GET_STATUS, NX_LINK_USER_COMMAND, etc.)?Thank for answerRegards,Jan

Hi,It's been a long time since I last programmed an STM32.  I've been put on a project that uses the STM32WBA55CGU7, so I've gotten a STM32WBA55G-DK1 development board.I've loaded up the example program "GPIO_InfiniteLedToggling_Init".  I had hoped that it would work out of the box... no such luck. The program is supposed to blink LD3.I've got the program compiled and loaded on the board.  The debugger appear to be working just fine, stopping at breakpoints etc.But no love from LD3.  I've got all the jumpers in the default locations and I am powering the board via the USB-C connector plugged into my laptop. There is a green power LED(LD4) that is on. LD1 is solid green and LD2 is blinking green/red.  I'm under the impression that this the expected behavior... except that but LD3 shows nothing.I have been having trouble finding any documentation that would indicate what the trouble is.I am able to probe the Arduino interface's D8 pin which is shown as connected to

STM32STM32CubeG4 Firmware Package V1.5.1 Hi! STM32Cube FW updates packages arrive periodically for the STM32G4xx line. They comprise relevant Apps, Demos, Examples, and templates. In my understanding, the versions with ".1" in the end are patched in advance. I wonder where 1.4.1 and 1.6.1 are. Besides, what is the objective of 1.5.2?

When using MCSDK 5.4.8 to generate code with Hall sensor feedback control and considering the possibility of an attached load during startup, there is a chance of encountering excitation noise.Normally, the U-phase current signal should correspond to the rising edge of the U-phase Hall sensor. However, under abnormal conditions, there are multiple U-phase current signals between the rising and falling edges of the U-phase Hall sensor, resulting in the generation of motor excitation noise.(Follow ST file adjustments to the Hall phase section, which have already  fine-tuned for optimal performance.) I'm currently using the command MC_ProgramSpeedRampMotor1 to set the motor startup parameters, and the issue persists when switching between MC_StopMotor1 and MC_StartMotor1 after the first startup attempt.Attempts to use MC_Clear_IqdrefMotor1/MC_AcknowledgeFaultMotor1 to clear the buffer when stopping the motor have been ineffective.Assistance is required to identify which specific

Hello,Using custom firmware on an Inhouse designed board, the BLE output seems unmodulated as shown in the picture attached. But using the Transparent mode firmware on a Nucleo-Board (controlled via the Cube monitorRF) the modulation seems good (also attached)So,1. Is there any option to tune the modulation further other than default ?2. Can someone provide the Transparent mode firmware for the STM32WB55VGQ package ? This can help in FCC testing. This picture shows the sidebands when tx is ON on the 1st channel. This picture shows there are no sidebands on the Nucleo Board which are coming in the above pic.

hallocan anyone help me about how to program for convert adc to dac ini stm32cubemx with program keil U5, have you guys can help to bring me an example of your code or tips and step. i used the potentiometer for adc value and the value used to dac and read by osciloscopcan you help me? thanks

Hi! This is my first project using stm32f407 board, After all the configuration, I generate a code on cubeMX but cubeIDE gives me an empty page. Sorry if the question is stupid, I am not familiar with this software

HI, could you come up with an example of how to access a textfield from a custom container in the Main screen? Thanks in advance.

Hello!I am facing a problem when trying to erase a page from flash. It is working when the stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw wireless stack is present. But since BLE is not used anymore, it has been removed, so now there is no wireless stack present. The problem occurs when trying to notify the CPU2 that some flash erase activity may be executed using this line (flash_driver.c file, FD_EraseSectors() function) SHCI_C2_FLASH_EraseActivity(ERASE_ACTIVITY_ON); After that it goes into HardFault_Handler. To be exact, this happens when the shci_send() function is called from shci.c file, and form there, whenever this line is executed from the shci_tl.c file pCmdBuffer->cmdserial.cmd.plen = len_cmd_payload it goes into the HardFault_Handler.I have tried to use the FLASH_EraseProgram example from P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo examples, but this does not help. As I understand that when there is no wireless stack present, and when trying to do something with the flash, there will be an i

We are using STM32H723ZG on custom board. Sometimes, we want to jump to System Bootloader (address 0x1FF09800) from our application. Then we connect to device via USB DFU. I thought that it works reliably, however we discovered that sometimes, there is a problem that the device is not enumerated correctly (STM32CubeProgrammer doesn't see it).Additional info:Bootloader version both v9.2 and v9.3Preparation for jump is done almost the same as in https://community.st.com/s/article/STM32H7-bootloader-jump-from-application (note that there is wrong clearing of ICER/ICPR registers) with few additions such as disabling cache. Let me know if I should post the complete code.We have BOOT pin on button to go directly to the bootloader after reset. This seems to always be working correctly. So the issue seems to affect only jumping from our application.Furthermore, when I tried looking to bootloader operation through debugger, from the disassembly, it seems that it is not stuck and correctly check

Hello,We are starting on a new project for a Bluetooth Low Energy based industrial control system and are considering using BLUENRG-355 from the BLUENRG-LP family. Apparently it is now being called STM32WB0.The question is regarding the software development IDE for this chip. We use a lot of C++ in our coding so we would like to stick to tools like Keil which have a proven track record when it comes to C++ for microcontrollers. We saw that Keil MDK offers a free license for this chip and this is our first preference. But we are not sure about the validity of the license.Could someone confirm if this license is available free only for 1 year or is it a perpetually free license? Thanks in advance!Mayuresh

In the datasheet of W25N01GVZEIG,Data program load and quad data program load can transfer up to (2048+64) bytes.(The transfer of data between the controller and the external flash uses DMA)When I try to write 2048 bytes, nothing is written. The same things happen when reading, where nothing is read if the buffer size if 2048.Both only seem to work when dealing with <=40 bytesI have tried to write 2048 bytes and read 40 bytes and write 40 bytes and read 2048 bytes. In both cases nothing is read. Is there something I am missing. The clock's frequency is 170 MHz, and the prescaler of the QSPI is 1

Hi,I want to make PWM stream with various duty, so I'm testing PWM with DMA using NUCLEO-G0B1RE and HAL library. The first image shows weird pulse train. I set DMA buffer with [duty 1] * 8 + [duty 17] * 8 + [duty 5] * 8, but oscilloscope captures eight 1s, "nine" 17s and "seven" 5s. Left pane is screen of STM32CubeIDE Debugger.I tested while debugging - if I change DMA buffer I can see results on-the-fly.It looks like if I set more than 11 on DMA buffer, next PWM affected. I attached a short screen recording clip, please check it.How can I get the exact PWM trains?  I also attached entire project files.Note : I found code generation problem regarding TIM4 and DMA(https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/stm32cubeide-1-15-1-code-generation-problem/td-p/673440) so I modified HAL_TIM_PWM_MspInit()

Hello, I am implementing an application in which smartphone users can read/write multiple NDEF records from ST25DV64K tag. My question is how I know the EEPROM address of tag to read that data from microcontroller?

I have a question regarding the current peak output in the product specification sheet (Figure 1). Does the 0.7A refer to the total maximum current for all eight channels? Also, I noticed that there are two outputs connected to each other for each channel (Figure 2). Will this result in a smaller output current?(700mA / 8 / 2 = 43.75mA for each output). If I intend to drive the output using current at the output connection terminal, by externally connecting the two internally connected outputs of the same channel through

Dear Support Team, I am currently working on a project involving Zigbee communication, where I have multiple devices configured as Sleepy End Devices (SEDs). Specifically, I have ten SEDs connected to a single Zigbee Coordinator (ZC). I have encountered a challenge in identifying the source of the measurements received by the ZC. Each SED is transmitting its data, but I am unable to distinguish which measurement corresponds to which device. Could you please provide guidance on how to implement a system or method to uniquely identify the measurements from each SED? Any advice on best practices or example code snippets would be greatly appreciated. I am working with the Nucleo Board WB55RG and i have checked several examples included in the stack, for exampleDevTemp_Server_coord,DevTemp_Client_Router, OnOff_server_Coord, OnOff_Client_SED, etc.  @Ouadi Please could you help me?
