I know timers are not designed for that purpose but Input Capture channels have unique Input Filter property which I think could be used to debounce a button. It just needs to be configured a way so interrupt is triggered on external signal rising (or falling) edge.I cannot figure out how to configure it in CubeMX. It would also be good to know which channel triggered the interrupt - in case more than one channel is used. Please advise.

hello everyone.I created a project for the STM32H747I-DISCO chip, the goal was to run an image classification model on it.I used a model from model zoo. and did quantization on it following the instructions there. The part where I am stuck is when I generated the code through CubeMX then opened the project in CubeIDE and build the project (for CM7 core) but how do you flash the chip? I tried running the project then disconnected the chip and plugged it again, but nothing happened (and nothing on the screen) .

Hello! I recently used stm model zoo and deployed an image classification model on a chip. The flashing part is made automatically if the chip is connected, but I was wondering how to do it manually (using another software)?I get these folders after processing the deployment code but I do not really understand which files to use. If someone familiar with Model zoo can help me figure this out! Thanks in advance!

Hello,I'm currently working on a custom board with a display so I can't  use TouchGFX to generate my project...So far I've created a project through CubeMX(6.12.0) that can use TouchGFX(4.24.0), opened it in CubeIDE(1.16.0) and tried to build it but some errors occured (undefined reference of some files of TouchGFX like the HAL.hpp).I then opened my project in TouchGFX and generate code without modifying anything. I refresh and tried to build again my project in CubeIDE but this time I have a bunch of errors (215) that start with an "undefined reference to vtable" error :../Middlewares/ST/touchgfx/framework/include/touchgfx/ConstFont.hpp:35: undefined reference to `vtable for touchgfx::ConstFont'Then it's followed by some undefined reference errors :../TouchGFX/generated/fonts/src/GeneratedFont.cpp:14: undefined reference to `touchgfx::ConstFont::ConstFont(touchgfx::GlyphNode const*, unsigned short, unsigned short, unsigned short, unsigned char, unsigned char, unsigned char, unsig

I have a project where I'm using a Nucloe G474RE to produce a sine wave, all is working great; I have an array of 2500 values which produce a SINE wave starting at 0 degrees; I would like to add 2 further Sine waves starting 120 and 240 degrees later. To do this, I could create 2 additional arrays with the values shifted to reflect the 120-degree and 240 degrees shift, but I was wondering whether I could use one array and produce the remaining 2 arrays by preloading the index the timer produces for phase 2 and 3 , indexing, reading and sending the value to the 2nd and 3rd DAC output. Is this achievableThanks for any guidanceNickI think I know how this could work, but I have to set the registers manually rather than using the HAL, The HAL seems to hide the details on how to set the source address, DMA1_Channel1->CPAR = (unint32_t(&dataArray[index_to_start_from); //DMA in circular mode. Can I override this in the Cubemx generated project, or do I need to code without using CubeMX Th

Hello,I enabled STSAFE in the TFM app on a B-U585I-IOT02A board following the instructions shown in UM2851, by adding the PSA_USE_SE_ST compile switch in the TFM_Appli secure and non-secure projects, and I enabled the USE_PAIRING switch. When I run the TFM app, I get an error on the console saying: "Secure Element driver initialization failure", and the portion of application shown below loops infinitely without starting. [INF] Flash operation: Op=0x0, Area=0x0, Address=0x0 [INF] Starting bootloader OEMiROT [INF] Checking BL2 NV area [INF] Checking BL2 NV area header [INF] Checking BL2 NV Counter consistency [INF] Consistent BL2 NV Counter 0 = 0x1000000 [INF] Consistent BL2 NV Counter 1 = 0x1000000 [INF] Consistent BL2 NV Counter 2 = 0x1000000 [INF] Consistent BL2 NV Counter 3 = 0x1000000 [INF] Swap type: none [INF] Swap type: none [INF] Swap type: none [INF] Swap type: none [INF] Starting validation of primary slot(s) [INF] verify counter 0 1000000 1000000 [INF] counter 0 : ok [IN

Hello,I want to create a updating list for my project that adds new text to an area on the screen(preferably scrollable as there can be many texts). I have read around a lot but I cant seem to figure out how to add new text areas with wildcards to a container. I also want to be able to change the different texts and remove them during runtime. What is the best way to solve this problem? Please see attached image for a very rudimentary chart off how I want the UI to look.Regards,Björn

I am experiencing issues with the VBAT pin on the STM32H563ZIT6 microcontroller. Specifically, the VBAT pin is not responding properly. I am using a CR2032 CMOS battery for RTC backup, but it is not maintaining the date and time as expected. When the power supply is off, the RTC does not hold and run correctly, but it resumes running once the power supply is restored.I have attached the circuit diagram for your reference. Could you please provide a clear explanation of the potential issues and offer guidance on how to resolve them? Expert advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated. VBAT & CMOS :

Hi all,  Would it be possible to have an 8x8 array of capacitive pressure sensors connected to the Qvar pins by an analogue multiplexer.I would like the qvar to effectively scan across the sensing array.

I want to use X CUBE AI VERSION 7.3.0. I have installed the package with correct version but when I try to use it pops a saying "Please select local zip file for X-Cube-AI stm32ai utilities". I cannot find the zip file anywhere where should be located. I have also tried version 9.0.0 and no tab opens up in that version. But I need to use 7.3.0. I am attaching a screenshot as well.

I work with STM32CubeIDE 1.9.0, STM32CubeMX 6.5.0, and STM32Cube FW_U5 V1.1.0, on a NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q.I created a new project for this specific board, and left everything by default.I need to use the ADC1, wich is enabled by default.I start with this call:HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1);And it never succeed. Digging deeper, there seem to be a timeout on the ADC1 activation. The register bit ADC_CR_ADEN is set but the corresponding flag ADC_FLAG_RDY never rise. For information, the ADC voltage regulator was successfuly enabled during system initialization (ADVREGEN set to 1, wait for a time, then check that the corresponding flag is risen). Before rising ADC_CR_ADEN, all bits of the register ADC CR is are low (except ADVREGEN = 1). According to the RM for STM32U575, this is the only condition before enabling the ADC.Did I miss something in the reference manual, or in the code? Is there something wrong with my STM32U575 chip?

Hello, I imported a project on STM32CubeIDE V1.9.But when i compile, i have many errors (nearly 760) like this :d:\stm32cubeide_1.9.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.10.3-2021.10.win32_1.0.0.202111181127\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: ./Application ino/Src/ino_1_IO.o:C:/Users/innolife/STM32CubeIDE/workspace_1.9.0/PE30-V_V2.41-K_V2.2/Drivers/AX/Inc/AX_IO.h:21: multiple definition of `Gestion_INPUT'; ./Application ino/Src/ino_0_Application.o:C:/Users/innolife/STM32CubeIDE/workspace_1.9.0/PE30-V_V2.41-K_V2.2/Drivers/AX/Inc/AX_IO.h:21: first defined here The error is on declarations of a typedef or enum on a header files.Few struct are declared like this : typedef struct{                uint8_t OldState_1;                uint8_t Flag_IN_1;       &nbs

That's the question. See https://github.com/Lora-net/SWL2001 for the upstream code; apparently development of the Semtech LoRaWAN stack has stopped in favor of this more feature-rich LoRaWAN stack.

Hi, it seems there is a typo in AN5755 at page 8 ch.4.2 it says: "Moreover, Qvar data can be stored in FIFO (by setting the QVAR_BATCH_EN bit to 1 in the COUNTER_BDR_REG1 (0Bh) register)". This statement doesn't apply to LSM6DSV16X, because it is not possible to redirect QVAR data out to FIFO. It applies only to LSM6DSV16BX at ch4.3.regards

Hello, I am using the dma to receive data into the uart using the functions: HAL_UARTEx_ReceiveToIdle_DMA(&huart2, UART_p.UART_Data, UART_DATA_LENGTH)); with UART_DATA_LENGTH = 200. void HAL_UARTEx_RxEventCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart, uint16_t Size); DMA is configured in normal mode.Everything works fine with frames < 100 characters but if I receive a frame > 100 characters thenthe Size variable is equal to 100 while I have 130 characters. This then poses a problem for me when processing this frame in JSON.Strange thing UART_Data is cut in two when I view it in debug mode. Thanks for your help.

Hi.I am absolute noob with stm32 and i am currently trying to connect GY-GPS6MV2 module to RobotDyn STM32 Mini(STM32F103C8T6).  I have connected GPS module to pins and set up USART1 in asyncronous mode. I have done everethyng according to official example on how to work with USART1 using DMA. In the interrupt handler i wrote small piece of code to copy data from rx buffer to linked list. But from here things have gone really weird, because in the debugger i see, that my global variable(nmea_head, this is first node in linked list) is allocated in the same memory area where irq handler stack resides(See attached screenshots). What am i doing wrong? Here you can see, that SP for HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback is at 0x20000104This is definition of global variable nmea_head. On the right side you can see, that it was placed on the address 0x20000110. This address overlaps with stack frame of HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback, so my variable gets corrupted. What am i doing wrong? This  happens prior

I built the root file system using 'build root', which previously automatically loaded 'galcore. ko' when the system started. But today I accidentally reset the configuration of 'build root', and since booting up, this module has been unable to load automatically. It needs to be manually loaded every time. Does anyone know which configuration affects its automatic loading?

i have program like this and from the program i have the output like this (picture) and i used the potentiometer to find the value is AD_RES_BUFFER: the potition of picture is disable of DMA Countinous Request ADC ANALOGbut the potentiometer work (produces value ) if i enable the 'DMA Countinous Request' in stm32cubeMX i used the nucleof334r8  but the value of b and output is 0 (zonk).and if i disable the 'DMA Countinous Request' in stm32cubeMX the potentiometer doesn't work (produces no value if rotated) and only displays value randomly and i dont know from where the value, but i have a value of 'output, b' in watch 1.so i want to enable the 'DMA Countinous Request' and get the value of potentiometer (REAL TIME AND UPDATE ID I ROTATED THE POTENTIO) but i dont know how to set it in cubeMX and prgram the keil.PLEASE ANYONE HELP ME.

We are using LORAWAN with STM WL series Microcontroller. For that we have used predefined method of getting readily code of both the functionality.I have shared that link below.https://docs.rakwireless.com/Product-Categories/WisDuo/RAK3172-Module/Low-Level-Development/#rak3172-on-stm32cubeide-with-stm32wl-sdk-v1-2-0After using above document we are able to get code with 0 errors and 0 warnings. But when we open .ioc file and update something. It will change so many files and due to that we are not able to build the code succefully. Any one have solution regarding the same? How can I easily integrate any module (Like ADC, Timer, etc)RegardsManan

As screen output from STM32CubeIDE version 1.16.0, is this latest chip version of STM32WLE5JCI6TR?Please point to web links on datasheet and errata (workaround and chip deviation from datasheet error).  Best regards

Hi,I am using VL53L4CX sensors with a custom-made board which uses the STMH755ZI. I am using the library provided by STM to get the sensor measurements.Initially, my tests were done using a Teensy 4.0. At that point, I noticed that a single VL53L4CX sensor takes around 3ms to get data through I2C when using the VL53L4CX library. However, when I switched to the VL54L4CD library, it was much faster, taking around 0.5ms per sensor. This includes all the data that the sensor provides. After that, I moved to the STMH755ZI. Since this is an STM chip, I thought it might be more compatible and faster compared to the Teensy, as the TOF sensor is also made by STM. Contrary to my expectations, the time it takes to read one sensor significantly increased. Using the VL53L4CX library, it takes around 10-11ms to read data for a single sensor. Then I tried the VL53L4CD library and was able to reduce the time to 1ms per sensor.I am working on a project with strict time constraints, so I commented out re

Hi, I am interested in creating a similar PCB to the SMARTAG1 but without a battery to reduce the size of the board. Is it possible to program and power the board purely through the SWD connector?
