Hello all, I wanted to use sensortile to collect data on microsd card. (I have two of them) So, One portable cradle from the kit working good, but another is not working with the same microsd card. When start it from the android app the sensor just behave like normal but after several seconds disable sd logging completely. Need to say that I do not see any files on SD card after the procedure. Also, I did check solder joints and didn't notice any problems with soldering.

Board: STM32 NUCLEO F103RB (MB1136 C-01)Wire cable with ESP8266: UART1_tx (PA9) -> RX_ESP8266 and UART1_rx (PA10) -> TX_ESP8266Hi all,I try to send AT command between board and ESP8266, without success.I send the command but I don't see no reply. The UART baud rate is: 115200 baud.Below the code: char data[] = "AT\r\n"; //I want send: AT char rsp[6]; //I expect the response OK: \r\nOK\r\n, six character HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1, (uint8_t*)data, strlen(data) , 10000); \\Send command HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, (uint8_t*)data, strlen(data) , 10000); \\Show the command sent on serial monitor HAL_Delay(100); HAL_UART_Receive(&huart1, (uint8_t*)rsp, strlen(rsp), 10000); \\In rsp, i expect the respons: OK HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, (uint8_t*)rsp, strlen(data) , 10000); \\Show the response on serial monitorCan you help me?

I'm trying to implement 6-step BLDC commutation with an STM32F767 MCU, commutation table shown belowI have the 3 hall effects going to GPIO interrupt pins, the ISR code is pasted below. I used the generated code from the X-CUBE Motor workbench as a starting point for how to properly enable/disable the PWM lines. void EXTI15_10_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN EXTI15_10_IRQn 0 */ /* USER CODE END EXTI15_10_IRQn 0 */ if (LL_EXTI_IsActiveFlag_0_31(LL_EXTI_LINE_13) != RESET) { LL_EXTI_ClearFlag_0_31(LL_EXTI_LINE_13); /* USER CODE BEGIN LL_EXTI_LINE_13 */ /* USER CODE END LL_EXTI_LINE_13 */ } if (LL_EXTI_IsActiveFlag_0_31(LL_EXTI_LINE_14) != RESET) { LL_EXTI_ClearFlag_0_31(LL_EXTI_LINE_14); /* USER CODE BEGIN LL_EXTI_LINE_14 */ /* USER CODE END LL_EXTI_LINE_14 */ } if (LL_EXTI_IsActiveFlag_0_31(LL_EXTI_LINE_15) != RESET) { LL_EXTI_ClearFlag_0_31(LL_EXTI_LINE_15); /* USER CODE BEGIN LL_EXTI_LINE_15 */ /* USER CODE END LL_EXTI_LINE_15 */ } /* USER CODE BEGIN

Hello, I need to implement a serial communication between MCU such as STM32F4xx or STM32F2xx and a Time Delay DS1023 but its datasheet doesn´t mention any standard communication protocol such as SPI.Could i use three GPIOs as Serial Input, Serial Output and Latch Enable besides a MCO (Master Clock Output) pin (used as CLK) to implement it?In case it is a possible solution or, in case there is a better way, knowing that will help me to decide which items to buy and how to do it.Thanks in advance!Alejandro Pinto .

Hello We are testing the SBSFU project on STM32U585 released in the cubeu5 project and came to see that the secure project uses 14kb of size and non secure approximate 1.2MB. Our requirement is to add some modules into the secure area and we need to increase the space in the secure area from 14 kb to 300kb (the modules will be called from the nonsecure application as well - so any changes in the secure nsc area required ?)and the corresponding size in the non secure size can be reduced as well. How can we increase the space in the secure application(the secure .ld file without causing any conflict in the address range after the change has been made).could anyone suggest the steps required to adjust the spacingany inputs are preferredThanks

Hello,the LIS2DUX12 documentation (AN5903: LIS2DUX12: machine learning core) contains a table explaining how meta-classifier works:At the third column from the end of the table, the decision tree gives the result "A".As far as I understand, the "B" counter should have decreased, but it didn't. Why?

Hello,I’m not sure that is this important, but the board I’m using is the STM32F413ZH. When I try running an application on the STM32, it generally works fine, but sometimes after exiting debug mode, it stops working. Actually, this isn't a big problem for me because pressing the reset button fixes it. However, I’m curious—what could be causing this issue? For example, I turn an LED on and off. If I do not turn it on to debug mode, there is no problem. Or when I turn it on, there is no problem, but if I turn the debug on and off, the LED remains as it is.Thanks.

Hello all,I'll be starting a project in TouchGFX designer from an existing template, say STM32F469I DISCO. How does the code generation by the TouchGFX designer and CubeMX interact? Say when I add an UI element and regenerate the code in designer, does it respect the hardware changes done in  CubeMX? Or, if I do some changes in CubeMX (for example, add some GPIOs or an UART), does CubeMX generation preserve all TouchGFX code?Is there an order I need to be aware of or can I mix both? What about custom code I added, will it be overwritten by TouchGFX designer code generation? I work a lot with CubeMX so I know how the system with the tags work.What about CubeMX not used standalone, but from within STM32CubeIDE? Thanks! Martin

I have a STM32H7 with it's FMC signals hooked up to an FPGA in order to allow the microcontroller to peak/poke into FPGA registers.  I had a FIFO in this address space that, if read, would automatically increment to the next value.  I was noticing on occasion having two read requests for what should be only a single read in the code (causing data loss on the FIFO).  I found this old post: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/stm32f7-fmc-dummy-read/td-p/419015 in which someone saw the same issue and found out that interrupts were coming in causing the FMC to repeat the read once returning from the interrupt handler.  I tried disabling interrupts and saw my problem go away. What's odd is that I saw this happening very frequently on reads (occurring anywhere from a couple hundred to a few thousand reads in) but when stressing the writes at the same level, I never saw this occur.  The difference in time to finish a read/write doesn't seem

Tried to write a basic ltdc test not using hal and wen I pause the debug wen  changing a ltdc register it disconnects and says could not be halted whats going on

I am using the STM32U073RBT6. I want to output DAC using the internal reference (2048mV), but the output is based on VDD_A. Can you provide a specific example of how to use it?Summary: How to output DAC using the internal reference (2048mV) to PA4 and opamp p_in.

Hi guys,I am trying to run a demo on STM32U083C-DK board. This demo consists of LPTIMER generating PWM that is used for synchronization of I2C read from on-board temperature sensor. Rising edge writes the addres of read and falling edge reads data. The main issue I have encountered is that my synchronization setup works perfectly with UART transmit but with I2C no matter what I try I don't ever get transmit on the I2C bus.What I checked:- LPTIMER NVIC is on and is able to start UART synchronization- I2C DMA works when software triggered. Hello. im currently using the EVAL-RHF1201V2 and would like some help setting it up to properly measure dynamic characteristics. Particularly regarding the RPOL resistance and for a sampling frequency of 40 Mbps and a differential AC input from 1 MHz to 10 MHz with a max amplitude of 2Vpp. I also tried to apply the recommendations in the datasheet (fine = 15MHz and FS = 50 Mbps) in order to measure dynamic performance but I am far from obtaining them. Can someone help me please?

Hi, what is the difference between .elf file and .bin file to program STM32. If I load up the .bin file and program STM32, will it contain all the necessary such as program data and flash data. Is there a application to program individually the .bin file separately apart from STM32CUBE IDE.

I am trying to use scanf() in STM32H743, referring a webpage (here). More specifically, after setting up USART1 in STM32CubeMX, I add some function prototypes like:   #ifdef __GNUC__ #define PUTCHAR_PROTOTYPE int __io_putchar(int ch) #define GETCHAR_PROTOTYPE int __io_getchar(void) #else #define PUTCHAR_PROTOTYPE int fputc(int ch, FILE *f) #define GETCHAR_PROTOTYPE int fgetc(FILE *f) #endif PUTCHAR_PROTOTYPE { HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1, (uint8_t *)&ch, 1, HAL_MAX_DELAY); return ch; } GETCHAR_PROTOTYPE { uint8_t ch = 0; /* Clear the Overrun flag just before receiving the first character */ __HAL_UART_CLEAR_OREFLAG(&huart1); /* Wait for reception of a character on the USART RX line and echo this * character on console */ HAL_UART_Receive(&huart1, (uint8_t *)&ch, 1, HAL_MAX_DELAY); // HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1, (uint8_t *)&ch, 1, HAL_MAX_DELAY); return ch; }   and add a scanf() in the main function before infinite whi

I'm trying to run two threads when using TouchGFX. One is TouchGFX_Task and another is custom. Problem is that custom task requires about 30ms uninterrupted run.Problem is that running two tasks - one is interrupted which causes issues. If TouchGFX_Task is higher priority - screen works ok, but communication with external device is interrupted in another task. If TouchGFX_Task is lower priority - screen freezes and becomes unresponsive.Tried suspending and resuming TouchGFX_Task with osThreadSuspend() and osThreadResume() but it just stops updating screen (just like with changing priority, tried with commented/uncommented versions)Changed Preemptive mode to Cooperative in FreeRTOS configuration but did not help. Considering trying to use semaphores and/or mutexes however I'm unsure how to proceed with TouchGFX_Task to stop it so no issues arise when suspending and resuming task.Or maybe there is a better way to achieve something like this when using TouchGFX ?Below is sample code of ma

Hi All,Happy New Year.I am trying to get two STM32WL55 Nucleo boards communicating with each other on the 868MHz ISM band. The structure is  that one boards sends a message and the other board responds with a reply to the message received from the first board and using a third party sniffer I can monitor the data exchange between the two boards over air.The project is based of the SubGHz_Phy_PingPong project. So my problem is as follows. When Board1 sends a message to Board2. Board2 gets the message correctly and I can also see the data transmitted on Board1 on the packet sniffer. Both boards are running the same code as shown below.The problem is that when Board2 responds to the message sent by Board1. Board1 does not see the message even though I can confirm by looking at the sniffer that the message was sent by Board2.uint8_t rxbuffer[MAX_APP_BUFFER_SIZE]; uint8_t debug[MAX_APP_BUFFER_SIZE*3]; static void OnRxDone(uint8_t *payload, uint16_t size, int16_t rssi, int8_t Lora

Hello,I've a project which are build with the STM32CubeIDEA Version 1.16.0. I use the tool chain 11.3.rel1. After build with optimisation -O0 the application works without problems. It is implemented with bare metal and with using of the LL version 1.6.1 for the G0 library.Now when I build the application with a other optimisation, like -Og, the software runs in a hardfault exception.After some days, today, I will search for this problem and collect all information. And murphy struck. I can't reproduce this problem.I remeber me on the following information in the hardfault exeption:it was equal which optimisation I used, the behaviour was the samethe LR register value was 0xfffffff8 in the hardfault exeption handlethe callstack history show me the same callsthe last function the the callstack history was a ISR, which IRQ was disabledSo I have here found a other problem https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/stm32g0-hardfault-and-signal-handler-fffffff1/m-p/676866 . Hello,I am working on a new design using the STM32WBA52CGU6. Is it possible for me to use the MLPF-WB55-01E3 to match the antenna impedance? Or what is the output impedance of this MCU?Thank you in advance.

Hello,I am designing FOC motor controller based on DRV8316. For this, I am adding a DRV8316 custom board in the MC Workbench. Please find the JSON file attached. The problem is that I am unable to add phase voltage sensing. Although I have added phase voltage sensing in the JSON file it is not appearing in MC Workbench.Thanks

Hello,STM32F103RB microcontrollers.Why do TIM6 and TIM7 timers and its registers not define in CMSIS in stm32f103xb.h file (see Figure 1 below)?Figure 1Therefore, it is impossible to use this TIM6->ARR = 0x0001; instruction and similar to this instruction with registers of TIM6 and TIM7 timers.

Dear all,Good morning, I am facing issues with some functions in autodevkit.The functions osalThreadDelayMilliseconds() and osalThreadDelayMilliseconds() are blocking the entire execution.As the Autodevkit driver doesn't support the CANTP(response taken from AutoDevKit Community) so I am sending 8 bytes and then 8 bytes and so on. For this I need delay between each set of 8 bytes for this delay implementation I am using above mentioned function in different ways, but this is blocking entire CAN communication.So Can anyone help me to figure out this issue. Thanks & Regards,Aishwarya

Hi,I am playing with a G071RB evalboard + GFX01M2 display shield atm and noticed some faulty code being generated by TouchGFX designer 4.24.0. The evalboard features a User Button and the display shield has a joystick-like control element with 5 contactsThe TouchGFX Designer generates a MB1642ButtonController.cpp which has bugs in the getKeyState method.First failure is to return characters instead of integers, e.g.keyPressed = '5'instead ofkeyPressed = 5this fails when compared with "Key": 5configured in the .touchgfx file. Because of that no button press is registered.SecondFor the User Button on the evalboard the same method returns 0 (zero).keyPressed = 0;But zero is also the default value, so the button press is ignored. Changed it to return 1 and voilà, it works.The code generated:  "PhysicalButtons": [ { "Key": 1, "Name": "BUTTON_USER" }, { "Key": 5, "Name": "BUTTON_CENTER" } ],uint8_t MB1642ButtonController::getKeyState(void) { uint8_t keyPressed = 0; if (touch

Hello,I am using a VL53L8CX sensor in 8x8 mode. There is a thing that is unclear to me from the documentation, so I need a clarification. A value in the zone Z of the matrix I get from the ToF sensor is:a) Distance between the object in the zone Z and the optical center of the sensorb) Vertical distance between the object in the zone Z and the sensor planeWhich one of these is true? Kind regards,Milan
