Hi,I am using STM32H753XIH6 in a new design. The PCB is already manufactured, ready for the assembly. The issue is that I mistakenly designated the pins F1, F2 and G2 as NC in my schematic library model, but realized that the datasheet says they should be tied to VSS (*future readers should refer to the note at the bottom of this message for more precise explanation.) My question is, what would be the effect of leaving the pins F1, F2 and G2 floating?I will consider some post-manufacturing rework ideas with the assembly service company, but in case we cannot come up with a good solution, it is best to know how the part would behave (work, do not work, work unexpectedly, work with lower speed or higher power consumption, etc) if it is powered up while those pins are left floating. * F1:  This ball should not remain floating. It can be connected to VSS or VDD. It is reserved for future useF2 and G2: This ball should be connected to VSS

Dear Sir, I've been using CubeMonitor to monitor data for quite a while, and it really is a convenient tool.I recently started developing a new system with new MCU, STM32H5.However, when I use CubeMonitor to monitor the data, the data remains 0 all the time, as shown in the image.I have checked the variable in the IDE, and the variables indeed have normal values.I'm not sure if this is related to the STM32H5, because when I was using the STM32F3 before, everything was working fine. I also used the NUCLEO-F303RE and NUCLEO-H563ZI to verify this issue.I create a simple accurmated counting program, and on the F303, everything works fine. But on the H563, the data always remains 0.Does anyone know what might be causing this issue?Best Regards,

Hello, I have a STM32F411 and I am ready using the SDIO port, I would like to connect 2 SDCARD to the SDIO port and be able to switch from one to another like using a CS Chip select GPIO. Is it possible ? how would I do that ? Thanks Vincent

Hello team,I am using adc pins to detect voltage. In cube IDE I do adjustment to get ADC clock as 75MHz. But in the datasheet it is mentioned that for that package max adc clock is 50Mhz. Still cubeIDE(in .ioc file) does not shows any error and compiles the program. So currently adc is running at 75Mhz/50Mhz? Also refer the configurations belowController- STM32H745 LQFP144ADC- 16 bits, trigger by timer4

Hi all,We are currently trying to add a QSPI device to the STM32MP135F-DK board. Using STM32CubeMX, we selected PB2, PF8, PF9, and PF10 as the QSPI pins and generated the Device Tree accordingly. We then built the image using openstlinux-6.1-yocto-mickledore-mpu-v24.06.26.However, the QSPI initialization failed, and we encountered the following messages during boot:[ 0.623919] stm32mp135-pinctrl soc:pinctrl@50002000: Can't access gpio 88[ 0.623944] stm32mp135-pinctrl soc:pinctrl@50002000: request() failed for pin 88[ 0.623953] stm32mp135-pinctrl soc:pinctrl@50002000: pin-88 (58003000.spi) status -13[ 0.623964] stm32mp135-pinctrl soc:pinctrl@50002000: could not request pin 88 (PF8) from group PF8 on device soc:pinctrl@50002000[ 0.623974] stm32-qspi 58003000.spi: Error applying setting, reverse things backAdditional information: We are using SD boot. Hi,I am trying to understand the protocol, especially how to interpret the data packets to have custom code for auto motor ramp-up.I see there are some documents under MC workbench -> About. However, I still cannot find the details about the data packet structure. For instance: Upon executing a sample project through MC Workbench, Cubemx, and CubeIDE, and subsequently initiating the motor using Pilot. I observed the initial packet captured from the UART TX pin as 0x05, 0xC3, 0x00, 0xD4(using a logic analyzer). I speculate this to be a beacon, as indicated by beacon 0x05 from aspep.h, and the Motor Control Protocol Suite documentation mentions the initialization of a beacon from the host. Despite this, I've been unable to locate any documentation detailing the composition of the other three bytes or any specifics regarding the structure of the data packet. The SDK is very complicated as well. It takes too long to understand what each packet means. [VERSION]: MCSDK 6.2.1[TOOL]: MC

I am trying to use STM32H7R7L8H6H working on design. So in our design we uses multiple interfaces like TFT LCD, Ethernet(RMII), RS485, Wi-Fi-BLE module. So For MCU power supply mode selection between LDO and SMPS. Which one mode ST will recommended to us.?Can you please help to understand?

Hi I am in the the process of trying to replicate the STEVAL-SMARTAG1 board but with different sensors. I am new to making PCBs so I don't know if I've overlooked important considerations. A goal of my project is to remove the battery to reduce the bulk of the final PCB. I replaced the battery power with a connector pin to provide power during programming. I have been using an STM32 Nucleo board with a STLink adapter to power and program. At this point in time I am having trouble communicating with my PCB despite having all the components populated. I have checked the soldering and connectivity.  I am receiving the following error: "The interface firmware FAILED to reset/halt the target MCU". I observed the same error when no battery was inserted for the SMARTAG1 but I believe I am supplying sufficient power through the supplementary connector pin on my design. Could I please get some help for what I should try to resolve this problem.  I have attached the Kicad schematic and

Hello,First of all, a short text in order to present my problem :After reading all documents about the STM32WL55 and STM32WLE concerning the SubGhz and DMA, I don't find how can I use the DMA and DMAMUX with SUBGHZSPI_TX.Furthermore, I'm working on the board NUCLEO-WL55JC1. My goal and requirement :In fact, on the board NUCLEO-WL55JC1, I would like to send  as fast as possible a short message trough the Subghz (LoRa) when the button 1 is pressed. So I think the best way is to use the DMA : the button pressed is the trigger, and using the DMA in memory-to-peripheral, in other words, send 3 bytes from memory (0x83 for Opcode of SetTx, 0x000000 for the timeou) to SUBGHZ module via spi interface. My analysis :According the RM0461, the table 72 list the assignement of multiplexer inputs to resources. At 47 DMA request MUX input, they is SUBGHZSPI_TX :My test :So I used the Ping-Pong example project. Even if the SubGhz module activate, I don't find any DMA or DMAMUX tab !&

Hello I have project where is used a STM32F103RGT6 (1Mbit flash and 96 kb SRAM) in LQFP-64 package. Is there a replacement for this MCU with more SRAM and faster clock? I found a STM32F415RGT6 with the same package, bigger SRAM size 192 kb versus 96 kb, and faster clock 168 MHz versus 72 MHz and almost same pinout :\STM32F103RGT6 has VCAP pins where I should place the capacitor between this pin and GND. The PCB is not my project so I can't change PCB layout, originally on this was placed the Mind Motion MM32 MCU (in my opinion copy of STM) . Maybe someone of you knows the good replacement with ideal pinout? In my priority is a SRAM memory, next faster clock and at end flash size (minimum 512 kbit) :)

Hello members of the ST community,I want to access LAN8742 PHY with RMII via ethernet protocol with STM32H743VIT6 microcontroller. I want to run the system using the default address settings generated by CubeMX. I created 10kB space for MEM_SIZE. I wanted to access the callback function of the system over ethernet by creating a UDP server. The system does not enter the callback function determined by the data coming over UDP. The addressing I used in this microcontroller is shown below;LWIP_RAM_HEAP_POINTER : 0x30004000First Tx Identifier Address : 0x30000080First Rx Identifier Address : 0x30000000Rx Buffers Address : 0x30000100I found an application for lwIP application in the forum using MII connections. I tried the configurations there but no results. When I run the system in debug mode, mem_malloc: could not allocate in mem.c is returned; MEM_STATS_INC(err);LWIP_MEM_ALLOC_UNPROTECT();sys_mutex_unlock(&mem_mutex);LWIP_DEBUGF(MEM_DEBUG | LWIP_DBG_LEVEL_SERIOUS, (“mem_malloc:

I check the datasheet and it say that the output impedance os the STM32WB55 is 50 ohms , so i don't must need impedance matching but on the reference design have a pi-match circuit and a RF filter. Really the MCU have a 50 ohms impedance output or the pi-match is to adapt the impedance to the input of the RF filter?

Working on setting RDP (read out protection) on STM32H750.  We are using an external loader to be able to read from/write to external flash. The internal flash only contains a bootloader.1. Setting RDP to Level 1 doesn't prevent reading external flash. Is there a way to enable protection for external flash?2. Setting to Level 1 and then reverting to Level 0 deletes the internal flash (bootloader).  Is there a way to extend this functionality to external flash?

https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/ui-development/touchgfx-engine-features/mixinsHi, I used the documentation here and attempted to get the problem from the title working, but the issue seems to be the clickHandler is not registering the click. I think this is because the container on which I set the ClickListener on is comprised of a flex button, which has its own click interaciton. Is there any way to fix this? I set the clickListener from the screen page, not the container page. void Formulas1View::formulaClickHandler(const Formula& f, const ClickEvent& evt){if (&f == &formula1){Unicode::UnicodeChar* formulaName = formula1.getFormulaName();presenter->setEditingFormula(formulaName);}}I ran breakpoints and realized on the button click this was never being hit.

I currently have ADC1 working with DMA at 14 MHz so my sample rate is 1 Msps I believe. I want to double my sample rate, so I thought I could use both ADCs with DMA and interleave the buffer data. My issue is that when I am trying to configure ADC2, there is no "DMA Settings" tab, and when I go to adjust the DMA configuration, I am not able to add a DMA request for ADC2. Am I unable to use DMA for both ADCs on the Blue Pill, or am I missing something? Here is what my ADC1 configuration page looks like with the available "DMA Settings" tab. Here is what my ADC2 configuration page looks like without the available "DMA Settings" tab. Here is what my DMA configuration page looks like without the option to add a DMA request for ADC2. Any help is appreciated!

Hi,I am designing a system that will be using an STM32F411 microcontroller as the hardware application processor, the system will also have onboard a Single board computer module running Linux.  While the application processor will take care of the majority of the hardware interface because of the realtime nature of the application,  the SBC will be hosting the user interface, provide logging services, network access as well as management/supervisory functions, this is I think a fairly typical system for a real-time control architecture. The SBC I am using is a plug in compute module, this is a read-made plug and play system that runs Linux, my application board provides the power and other ancillary interface hardware. I am in the design phase, and I have a question about programming the STM32 micro. On the bench, and even on the board in the field I intend to have the four ping SWD interface the for common low cost STLink programmers.  However, in production

good morning. i am actually trying to load on my an sd card my data of the sensor tile.box. Unfortunately, I only get blank tables with only the top written. I uploaded a configuration to make it and then uploaded as seen on those photos. am I missing anything?i have also a question on those parts of the application, I do not know what they are made for and they are only in this program:

Hello,I'm planning to use an STM32WL5X microcontroller in an upcoming project, and I found myself confused on the recommended impedance for external 32MHz oscillators. Please see the attached image for a screenshot from the datasheet. The datasheet says that the incoming clock signal needs a minimum of 0.4 Vpp, and an absolute max of 1.2 Vpp. Note 1 below the table says that oscillators outputting a 0.8 Vpp signal should have a 220 ohm resistor and 10 pF capacitor put in series before the oscillator input pin. The oscillator input has a minimum input capacitance of about 11 pF.If the input signal is 0.8 Vpp, and you make a voltage divider as described, the input signal is going to be way less than 0.4 Vpp. How is that supposed to work?? @Peter BENSCHand @HamiltonDC, I found other forum responses from you two on this issue, but I still don't understand the math behind this. How is the input signal wave supposed to be greater than 0.4 Vpp?

Hello,  I am using NUCLEO F767 microcontroller. i want to receive data using CAN. I am using CAN2. pins PB12 Rx and PB13 TX. I have tried bunch of things but i am unable to receive data. So, please help me regarding this  Code :  int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */ /* USER CODE END Init */ /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config(); /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */ /* USER CODE END SysInit */ /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_CAN2_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ if (HAL_CAN_Start(&hcan2) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } sFilterConfig.FilterActivation = CAN_FILTER_ENABLE;///CAN_FILTER_ sFilterConfig.FilterBank = 0; // which filter bank to use from the assigned on

I am using a STM32H562RG and my project involves timing, for which I am using an external LSE crystal. I know that the STM32H562RG can adjust the LSE drive level. I used STM32CubeMX to generate the code. I noticed this code comment./** Configure LSE drive capability* WARNING: Only applicable if LSE is disabled.*/I don't understand. What should I do? When I used STM32L431 before, there was no such code comment.Because when I set the level to HIGH, the LSE crystal of the STM32H562RG still does not oscillate. I don't know what I am doing wrong.   This post has been translated from Chinese to comply with the ST Community guidelines.

Hi,I've just updated my CubeIDE to 1.14.0. When trying to open .ioc I get error about MX compatibilty.I edited .ioc in a standalone CubeMX 6.12 tool. This error suggests as if CubeIDE had its embedded MX, independed from standalone MX ?If possible, how do I update CubeIDE's MX version to 6.12 ?Thanks

Hello On the data sheet of the STM32H743BGTx it states that DCMI peripheral is available for the STM32H743BGTx.But on the STM32Cube IDE is says that is not available. In the following screenshot I have picture the message.     Why DCMI is not available when on the data sheet it states that it is? Is there any other version of the ic that DCMI is available?   Thank you

What are the requirements or calculation methods for parameter configuration of L9781? To deal with EMC, which of the following four options is more suitable? This post has been translated from Chinese to comply with the ST Community guidelines.

The following sequence leads to invalid code being generated:1. start a new project in TouchGFX (simulator or board)2. add a custom container3. add a static graph element named 'graph' inside the custom container4. generate code - code is fine and compiles good both in simulator and target5. close TouchGFX and re-open the project6. generate code without any modificationGenerated code is buggy both in CustomContainer1Base.hpp and CustomContainer1Base.cpp: the string "graphLine1" is missing anywhere in code.7. delete 'Line' element from graph8. add a 'Line' element on graph9. generate code - code is good again TouchGFX v.4.24.1 Not a blocking bug (I can revert generated code from git), but it is annoying...Alessandro

I have come across a rather weird problem and would like to get some direction.I am using STM32F756 nucleo board. I set ADC1 to trigger by TIM1 (the complete project uses some other peripherals). TIM1 is set as PWM generation. All these are set using CubeMX in CubeIDE. In ADC setup, continuous DMA request is enabled, continuous conversion disabled. Trigger set to TIM1 update event (also tried with external trigger and shorting TIM1 output to EXTI pin with jumper). ADC1-DMA is set to circular mode. In the code, I start ADC with "HAL_ADC_StartDMA" before starting the timer. To start the timer, I copied "HAL_TIM_StartPWM" and made another method, let's say, "Private_TIM_StartPWM" which is almost identical to the HAL method except it doesn't have the "__HAL_TIM_ENABLE" call at the end. So, when calling this method, TIM1 is set up for PWM generation but the counter remains idle and will be enabled separately later. Now onto the problem, in the code, before TIM1 can be enabled, the DMA transf
