I hope someone can help me with the accuracy of my VL53L1 sensor. I can’t get the sensor working accurately above 40cm. I am working on a hobby project and want to use the sensor to avoid obstacles. The board I use is not an VL53L1-SATEL. It’s from an other manufacturer. I tried different api’s. The most recent full api and the ULD from ST. I even tried the Adafruit api for this sensor. All the api’s are producing more or less the same results. Is there something I could test to figure out what’s going on?

Hi,I'm working with the STM32WLE5JC mcu and Cube firmware 1.13.0. Can someone explain how the module/stack implements adaptive data rate? I can see from lora_app.h that it is enabled by default, but exactly how is it implemented? The screenshot is from LmHandler.c, where it seems to be disabled for LoRaWAN version 1.0.4 (which is what we are currently using). So, to clarify:* In what LoRaWAN versions is ADR enabled/implemented?* How is it implemented?

I found that the ADC sample is wrong when I use LL library, and it is correct when using HAL library.By comparing the registers, I found the code generated for LL library missing a sentence;  LL_ADC_SetChannelPreSelection(ADC1, LL_ADC_CHANNEL_19);  And when I config the ADC using DMA to transfer, it doesn't work;I added the following code manually, and it works.  LL_ADC_REG_SetDataTransferMode(ADC1, LL_ADC_REG_DMA_TRANSFER_UNLIMITED);   I configure the VREFBUF to use externel reference, but this seems generate nothing.I added the following code manually, and it works.  LL_APB4_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB4_GRP1_PERIPH_VREF); SET_BIT(VREFBUF->CSR, VREFBUF_CSR_HIZ);  Can these bugs get fix?

hi,      I am  unable to connect to internet in STm32 Cube IDE and i am not running any proxy server, and I tried changing network connections settings like manual, native and  Direct, but same issue faced.what can i do? how to solve my problem

Hello ST Support Team,   Does the internal flash in STM32f103rct6 MCU supports the ECC feature? I am not able to find this information in related documents.   Best Regards, Aadesh

Hi everybody.I'm facing a strange behaviour on my application. I'm using a STM 23H562, and I'm usign LL library to drive a SPI display (classic iLi).I take the example from c:\Users\[..]\NUCLEO-H533RE\Examples_LL\SPI\*and the display do what I want... only sometime!Due to the 65535 max transfer length, I need to split it into 3 session. I wait the end of the previous as indicate in the example, using:while (!LL_DMA_IsActiveFlag_TC(GPDMA2, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_0)){}LL_DMA_ClearFlag_TC(GPDMA2, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_0);But the color of the filling change (= the data transmitted to the display) from one session to the others. The 1st is correct, the second "sometime", the 3rd rarely. But if I put a small delay from one session to the following everything work fine. How I can fix it?It seems I must wait for some other flag, but donnow wich! Moreover, the command to the display is based on a 8 bit spi data, so I change to 16 and back to 8 when I use the DMA. But the session of manual sending comm

Hi,We've custom boards for our projects and we have to set up pins, crystals, clock settings etc. each time and I was wondering is there a way to making this easier ?Can we add to "New STM32 Project" >  "Board Selector" our boards ?Thanks & Regards

Hello,I am using a custom board with the STM32L452RET. On this board:SPI1 is connected to an IIS3DWB accelerometer,SPI2 is connected to a 240x280 TFT display with an ST7789 controller and TouchGFX,SPI3 is used with FatFs to access an SD card, following this tutorial: https://controllerstech.com/sd-card-using-spi-in-stm32/,USB CDC is used for communication. After adding FatFs, the wildcards with float values that should be displayed on the screen only show characters from 5 to 9. Characters from 0 to 4 appear as black blocks. I modified the text settings in TouchGFX in various ways. The only configuration that showed some results was changing the BPP in the typography from 4 to 8.The images show the result with and without FatFs running.I appreciate any help.

Hello,How can I transfer the configuration of an existing project to a new project?Unfortunately, the Project Manager does not allow a name change.

Dear Sir or Madam,I'm trying to import a ONNX network with X-Cube-AI(9.1)/ST Edge AI Cloud which was generated and exported using Matlab/Simulink. When trying to work with the model I always receive the following error:[... ST Edge AI Core v1.0.0-19894 INTERNAL ERROR: Your model ir_version is higher than the checker's....] - same error in X-Cube-AI(9.1) and ST Edge AI Cloud. The intermediate representation version of the Matlab/Simulink generated ONNX Model is 9 and I choose OpsetVersion to be 13 (recommendation somewhere in the docs). Attached is an example of the file I would like to import. Now it would be interesting for me to know which intermediate representation version is required by X-Cube-AI(9.1)/ST Edge AI Cloud? Then I can convert the onnx file to the correct ir version.Which ONNX version is the basis for X-Cube-AI(9.1)/ST Edge AI Cloud? Have a nice day and best regards,MoCo STM32Cu

In this ST document...https://www.st.com/en/partner-products-and-services/riverdi-stm32-nucleo-144-display-kit.htmlThere is mention of "TouchGFX Demo Projects: Includes demo projects for the ST Development Boards: NUCLEO-H563ZI & NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q, helping you get started quickly"Ok, Can someone please tell me where, and how to find the demo projects for NUCLEO-U575ZI ?, as I can not find any mention in demos in TouchGFX V4.21.1 ?Thanks

Hi,I was trying to use TouchGFX for the RVA35HI display with the U575ZI-Q development board. In the product website it does say that there will be a demo project for the same. I am using TouchGFX Designer version 4.24.1 and am unable to find it.It would be of great help if I was given some information regarding the demo code or guided towards how I can actually design a GUI using TouchGFX for the above mentioned configuration. Thanks in advance!

Hello,I am using the SBSFU application on the U575 microcontroller and have created my own program, which is stored in the secure area and accessed via NSC. I am trying to send data via ultrawideband, but the interrupt is not triggered. I have tested it in a normal project before integrating it into the SBSFU application, and it was correctly configured and worked fine. However, now I’m sending via UWB, but the interrupt I designed to notify when the transmission is complete is not triggered, and the transmission loop doesn't exit.I have also tried adding two RTC alarms and reading their flags via interrupts, but nothing is being read. Do I need to configure any interrupts or settings in the secure boot part or for remote updates? If so, what should be done?

Hi everyone!I’m working with two ST expansion boards:NFC07A1 – ST25DV64KCNFC08A1 – ST25R3916BBefore diving into the communication between these two boards, I tested them individually to explore all their functionalities, and everything worked well. Now, I want to establish RF communication between the Reader (ST25R3916B) and the Tag (ST25DV64KC).Here’s my setup:On the Tag side, I’ve enabled the RF activity interrupt by configuring the GPO1 register to 0x05.On the Reader side, I’ve developed code to configure the necessary registers and send some direct commands. Here’s a summary of the process:Direct command (C0) → Set DefaultRegister 0x02 → 0xC8Register 0x03 → 0x74Direct command (C2) → Stop All ActivitiesDirect command (DB) → Clear FIFODirect command (D6) → Adjust RegulatorsAfter this setup, I wrote the desired frame into the FIFO and then sent the C4 (Transmit with CRC) direct command. When I bring the Reader close to the Tag and send the message, the interrupt on the Tag does not tri

Hello,While I did tests with my motor control STEVAL-IHM028V2, I made a mistake to schort-circuit the three-phase output ! Then, I smelled a burning smell and no voltage is given in the three-phase output . When I checked the bottom face of the device, I noticed that some resistors (R74, R75 and R69) are burned (see attached images). Also, the W7 and W8 jumpers are short-cicuited. How could I fix this issue ?N.B. The schematic of the STEVAL-IHM028V2 is attached.CordiallyTarek

Hi,We are going for mass production of our device and we are using STM32H563IIK6  chip. And We need JTAG need to be Locked. And in our production we are using  Segger JLINK .Can you provide how to implement PRODUCT_STATE using Segger JLINK.

Hi,Can I interface SM Bus of battery charger chip to one of the I2C port of STM32U031R8? If yes, what care I need to take from hardware perspective? Thanks,Pradeep

Hello,We are planning to integrate the STSAFE110 into our device, which runs on Ubuntu. Since we’ll be developing our own code to retrieve the unique ID, I wanted to ask if there is any reference manual or documentation available for this. I couldn’t find one online.Thank you!

Hi, I know this is a bit of an off question. Is it possible to add a language dynamically? Without filling out the dictionary in the TouchGFX application?

Hello Team,We have a custom STM32H745 board designed and We are able to get the IC up and running on cube programmer and even set option bytes. The board is designed with Nucleo-H745ZI-Q schematics and we have verified everything on hardware end. When we try to program the board with a basic blink sketch following the guide (https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00629855-getting-started-with-projects-based-on-dualcore-stm32h7-microcontrollers-in-stm32cubeide-stmicroelectronics.pdf) M7 gets debugged and runs. Once I start with M4 I get error messages and it bricks the controller.I have been pulling up the BOOT0 pin and performing mass erase and trying things again, still it gets bricked when I try to debug CM4.

Hello everyone,Today I'm writing to you because I'm trying to implement a PPPoS connection over the USB CDC Host of a STM32H745. The modem I'm trying to connect to is a SIM7500 of SimCom.I managed to establish the connection between the modem and the mcu because I can see in the status callback the case PPPERR_NONE.The problem is that even after establishing the connection, when I try to ping the ip that the SIM has assigned I cannot get a response. I tried to debug and I am able to see the ping received on the MCU side. It tries to respond and it but it never reaches te computer from which I sent the ping. If I'm not in PPP mode and I set up the PDP context I can ping the modem without any problem, so the ip is reachable.Any ideas how should I proceed to debug that?Thank you very much in advance  <!!!UPDATE!!!>Seems like I haven't enabled the checksum generation and checksum control for lwip and I was sending packages with a 0x0 checksum. For me worked enabling it with

Hi, I'm developing my project on a custom stm32mp135 board, baremetal. I tried to flash my FSBL into eMMC with the external loaders provided with Cube package for STM32MP13XX_CUSTOM_HW, it didn't work. Then I tried one that is provided for STM32MP135C-DK and it did work, but it only flashes SD card. My suspicion is that custom-hardware uses LPDDR3, and my board has DDR3L and that's why it fails. I can't find sources of that external loader to fix it. Are you planning on publishing it?
