Hi everyone,I have difficulty understanding in which part of the code to intervene to modify the RFAL example code in card emulation to adapt it to my hardware.The example works perfectly on the NUCLEO-F401RE with X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1. Now that I have built the prototype hardware, I need to modify the register configuration to handle a single ended antenna without AAT.from AN5592 Looking at the code, it seems to me that the file to modify is rfal_analogConfigTbl.h, but I can't figure out how to modify it.Could you give me some pointers? Thanks to all.

Hi All, trying to write data into flash with dynamical flash address selection approach but it fails but at same time if hash(#) define the address the flash programming all works fine, Please suggest me the best solution and explain me the issues choosing dynamical address for flash address.  /*********************************************************************/Note: 1. this code where I'm trying to flash using dynamic address approach.           2. and yes the logic to choose the address working fine I can read the value in target address variable. typedef struct { uint32_t active_app; // 1 for App1, 2 for App2 uint32_t app1_valid; // 1 if App1 is valid uint32_t app2_valid; // 1 if App2 is valid } BootInfo; #define BOOT_INFO_ADDRESS 0x0802F000 int8_t UpdateFWBlueNRG(uint32_t *SizeOfUpdate,uint8_t * att_data, int32_t data_length) { int8_t ReturnValue=0; /* Save the Packed received */ if(data_length>(*SizeOfUpdate)){ /* Too many by

i have B-G431B-ESC1 board and motor. I can not profile this motor. X-CUBE-MCSDK-6 have issue that when i wrote max speed for example 30 000, my motor is go up to 3 000 which is 10% of max. In order to solve this issue i am using X-CUBE-MCSDK (version 5). I can wrote there 300 000 (cant in X-CUBE-MCSDK-6), so my motor can go up to 30 000. But when i do that, my profile wont finishing. It gives error like it take too time...I need advice

I'm struggling with how to use the timers to achieve certain behavior and am looking for some advice. First I'll describe the purpose, then how I tried to approach it, and then why I'm stuck.I need a 32-bit timebase that counts up at exactly 48kHz and always runs, rolling over from 0xffffffff back to 0. This timebase is used to precisely "schedule" the start of DAC and/or ADC conversions at some future counter value. For example, if the current counter value is 12345, I might want to start DAC conversion at counter value 20000. Optionally, I might also want to start ADC conversion at counter value 20100.  The DAC and ADC are scheduled independently but may overlap. Once triggered, the DAC/ADC channels should continue running until disabled by software. It's important that the timebase, DAC sampling, and ADC sampling are all synchronized at 48kHz such that they maintain a consistent relative phase offset, even across conversion windows. Since my application would be very sensitive

Hi everyone, I am trying to boot up a custom PCB using the STM32MP131D, however I am running into an error during OPTEE. I have attached the optee dts and also a debug log of OPTEE during boot. I confirmed that sdmmc1_io, sdmmc2_io, and cpu0_opp_table were in final dtb file used for optee-os-stm32mp, however something is not quite right. If someone could point me in the right direction that'd be greatly appreciated, thank you. Main Error from OPTEE Boot Log: :0 0 print_probe_list:352 Probe list: 3 elements D/TC:0 0 print_probe_list:354 |- Driver stm32mp1-cpu-opp probes on node cpu0-opp-table D/TC:0 0 print_probe_list:354 |- Driver stm32mp1-iod-regulator probes on node sdmmc1_io D/TC:0 0 print_probe_list:354 |- Driver stm32mp1-iod-regulator probes on node sdmmc2_io D/TC:0 0 print_probe_list:358 `- Probe list end D/TC:0 0 print_probe_list:364 Failed list: 0 elements D/TC:0 0 print_probe_list:369 `- Failed list end F/TC:0 0 probe_driver_node:391 Probing stm32mp1-iod-regulator on

Hi there,I have an IIC sensor connected to the MCU. And I read the sensor data at 50Hz.However, there are sometimes some IIC communication errors present with HAL_I2C_ERROR_TIMEOUT.My project is based on FreeRTOS with 4 Tasks, the sensor data collection task is one of the tasks, and the priority of this one isn't the highest.I try to read the sensor data by the blocking API "HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit()" and "HAL_I2C_Master_Receive()".I want to know if is there any possibility that the HAL_I2C_ERROR_TIMEOUT is caused by the blocking API in the sensor data collection task being interrupted by higher-priority tasks.If yes, how to modify the code? Change to "HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit_IT()" and "HAL_I2C_Master_Receive_IT()" is OK?(Because the frequency of the error is very low, it's not easy to position the root reason by test.)(And can't include "HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit()" and "HAL_I2C_Master_Receive()" in "taskENTER_CRITICAL()" and "taskExit_CRITICAL()" to keep others task's realtim

I'm trying to use STM32WB09KE for the BLE application. However, unlike STM32WB55, this microcontroller must activate PKA and RNG for the BLE module.So, I did.However, after generating the BLE code, I tried to build the project in the IDE and it showed a lot of errors related to RNG part.For example, these functions are not found in the project.HW_RNG_Init()blue_unit_conversion()PKAMGR_Init()aci_gatt_srv_profile_init()NVMDB_Tick()NVMDB_AppendRecord()NVMDB_ReadCurrentRecord()NVMDB_CompareCurrentRecord()NVMDB_DeleteRecord()Osal_MemCpy()GetPartInfo()HW_AES_Encrypt()HW_RNG_GetRandom16()HW_RNG_GetRandom32()RADIO_GetMaxPALevel()RADIO_GetDefaultPALevel()RADIO_SetHighPower() Do you have any idea why my IDE cannot import some files related to this?My cubeMX and cubeIDE are latest version.

Hi,I'm relatively new to the whole MCU thing and bought a Nucleo-H755ZI-Q. So one of the first things I tried to do was to make the LED blink. That was no problem, I configured the PB0-Pin for LD1, made it a GPIO for the M7 chip and it blinks happily, what makes me happy. The problem is, that when I safe the .ioc-file, generate the code etc. then close everything and start the program and the project again, the changes I did in the .ioc-File are gone and its back to its default settings. The PB0 for example was red, something with reset-state, i make it to a GPIO-Output and the color changes to green, and the next time I reopen the project it's red again and not a GPIO anymore!I don't know how to solve this. Any help is appreciated.Have a lovely day

Hello. I have STM32L031 nucleo board: https://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/um1956-stm32-nucleo32-boards-mb1180-stmicroelectronics.pdfAnd I am trying to write SHT40 driver for it. I have Adafruit SHT40 I2C temperature/humidity sensor:https://www.adafruit.com/product/4885 I follow simple steps to setup my STM32 board for I2C:Enable I2C peripheral on STM32CubeMX:Connect the Adafruit board to the STM32L031 Nucleo board: Write function to read temperature/humidity data from the SHT40 sensor:      static void SHT40_measure(){ HAL_StatusTypeDef ret; uint8_t data_tx[1] = {0xFD}; uint8_t data_rx[6]; ret = HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c1, 0x44, data_tx, 1, 1000); if ( ret != HAL_OK ) { printf("Error Tx\r\n"); } else{ //read bytes HAL_Delay(10); ret = HAL_I2C_Master_Receive(&hi2c1, 0x44, (uint8_t*)&data_rx, 6,1000); if ( ret != HAL_OK ) { printf("Error Rx\r\n"); } else{ for(int i = 0; i < 6 ; i++){

I have a NUCLEO -G071RB board with an X-NUCLEO-GFX01M2 display shield, and am trying to run the X-CUBE-DISPLAY demonstration software GFX01M2_HelloWorld.  I have imported the project to CubeIDE and built it OK, but when I try to run it I get an error "failed to erase memory" (details attached).  This happens with CubeIDE 1.15.1 and also with 1.17.0. Running the example GPIO_IOToggle on the G071RB board loads and runs OK, the problem is only with the GFX01M2 demonstrator.Am I missing something or am I looking at a board faulty out of the box?

I am trying to familiarise myself with the thread using the wiki page STM32WB_OpenThread_Border_Router_Application and am not getting anywhere because some graphics are missing on the page and I especially need the graphic with the CLI commands. It is the graphic File: Connectivity 1-12-0.png

Hi,i use the example ble_p2pServer_ota with STM32WBA55. How can i send a value (uint_8 or a string) from the server (NUCLEO-WBA55) to the client (Cell Phone)?Here in the example code (file p2p_server_app.c), the value of Switch_c_NOTIFICATION_ON for example is 1, but this is an enum and is used as a flag. I want to send an uint_8 or string value from a Sensor. How can i do this?case P2P_SERVER_SWITCH_C_NOTIFY_ENABLED_EVT: /* USER CODE BEGIN Service1Char2_NOTIFY_ENABLED_EVT */ P2P_SERVER_APP_Context.Switch_c_Notification_Status = Switch_c_NOTIFICATION_ON; // send the value 1 LOG_INFO_APP("-- P2P APPLICATION SERVER : NOTIFICATION ENABLED\n"); LOG_INFO_APP(" \n\r"); /* USER CODE END Service1Char2_NOTIFY_ENABLED_EVT */ break; case P2P_SERVER_SWITCH_C_NOTIFY_DISABLED_EVT: /* USER CODE BEGIN Service1Char2_NOTIFY_DISABLED_EVT */ P2P_SERVER_APP_Context.Switch_c_Notification_Status = Switch_c_NOTIFICATION_OFF; // send the value 0 LOG_INFO_APP("-- P2P APPLICATION SERVER : NOTIFI

Hi,I am working with the ble_p2pServer_ota example with an STM32WBA55 controller.If I want to send data (one byte for example) to an app on a cell phone, what settings do I have to make in the characteristics in CubeMX?

I have an STM32 Nucleo F401RE plus X-Nucleo-53L3A2 board.IDE and the rest of the toolchain installed, including the STSW-IMG016 P-NUCLEO-53L3A2 pack graphical user interface.The data brief of the GUI states "I2C transaction recording" which is of my major interest.How do I start this transaction recording? In the GUI software I did not find any option. The datalogging feature only logs sensor output, not I2C transactions. The reason is that I need to extract the I2C command sequence and parameters in order to initialize a VL53L3 sensor using a very tiny low cost microcontroller. Loading the full API is not possible for that processor.Any help getting the I2C transactions recorded and downloaded would be greatly appreciated.

Hi ST,Newbie question with regards to finding the right documentation.I went through previous threads trying to find an answer to this but I have not come across anything.I have an older iteration of the STM32F072B-DISCO board (as I've discovered!). I was able to use the STM32CubeF0 Samples/Demonstration/Example files that still expects L3GD20 and it worked out fine, however I realized the discrepancy in documentation because the WHO_AM_I identifier of the MEMS module was different on the board vs. the documentation of the datasheet. All of the new materials points to it using I3G4250D MEMS module, but I saw no mention of the module being changed in the Release/Change Notes anywhere.I was only able to find the schematic diagram of the board that has the L3GD20 module on it, and no other documentation:I3G4250D - https://www.st.com/resource/en/schematic_pack/mb1076-f072b-d02_schematic.pdfL3GD20 - https://www.st.com/resource/en/schematic_pack/mb1076-f072b-c01_schematic.pdfWould

Hi ,Regarding working with the STM32WLE5 with SUBGHZ block in the CUBE-MX.in the clock section tab in the CUBE-MX I dont see any mention of the RF-PLL clock. if i understood correctly - in order to work with the LORA SUB-GHZ BLOCK i need to supply a 32 Mhz HSE clock . I dont see in the clock section tab in the CUBE-MX any mention of this "must -have" 32 mhz HSE clock . it seems any clock source is possible and any frequency is possible .Does the clock section tab in the CUBE-MX dont represent the CLOCK tree in  the STM32WLE5 ? I see this issue even when I open example code for sughz block within the CUBE-MX.  Thank you,Viola

Hello, everyone, I am following the following youtube video posted by ST: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jE_nL1GObmA. My intention is to use an SD card to go and insert images due to a lack of space in flash or external ram. I followed the video, creating a bitmap cache in a portion of external RAM away from frame buffers and other important resources. In the LD file, I then added a virtual section called SDCARD into which I went to place all the contents of the ExtFlashSection. Then following the video I am right at the point where from the .elf file I should have created the .bin file through the command arm-none-eabi-objcopy.exe --dump-section ExtFlashSection=images.bin STM32H7S78-DK_24bpp_Appli.elf. However, I unfortunately get the following error: STM32H7S78-DK_24bpp_Appli.elf[ExtFlashSection]: can't dump section - it has no contents: File in wrong formatC:\TouchGFX\4.24.1\env\MinGW\msys\1.0\gnu-arm-gcc\bin\arm-none-eabi-objcopy.exe: unable to rename 'STM32H7S78-DK_24bpp_Appli.el

Where can I make the Encryption Option "Disable"?

I have a custom PCB with a STM32U575 for which I generate code using STM32CubeMX.I am now trying to get I2C to work. Both the I2C1 and I2C2 channels each have one I2C slave. But for both I get the same problem: the slaves do not acknowledge the master messages. The I2C transmission then returns with an error.For now I am testing with very basic code:const uint8_t source[1] = {0x00};HAL_StatusTypeDef status = HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c1, 0x64, source, 1, 1000);uint32_t errorCode = HAL_I2C_GetError(&hi2c1);Here status is HAL_ERROR and errorCode is HAL_I2C_ERROR_AF.I put a logic analyzer on the SDA and SCL channels and I can confirm the slave really doesn't send the expected ACK:In the yellow region the SDA should be pulled low.The CubeMX config:Both are set to 'open drain' as they should be.Just to try I made a little scan over all 128 I2C addresses, but I don't get an acknowledgement anywhere. I've also tried about all possible I2C configurations, but to no avail.It's odd bot

Hello,Is there a way to get schematic reviewed without sharing it publicly? My company doesn't allow public posts, so wondering if there is any possibility private reviews. Thank you!

Hello all, I am using STM32H747 in my project, previously I was using HAL library for my project, but now I want to shift my code to standard peripheral library, my question is do STMH7 series support to standard peripheral library if Yes then can anyone share me the SDK for the same  Thanks!!!!

I use CubeMX + VSCode + arm-gcc + makefile to compile embedded programs. CubeMX v6.12 create wrong stm32fxxx_flash.ld file. Some words like "RAM" is lacked. And CubeMX v6.11 and CubeMX v6.10 is right.

Hi, Can we use any UART /USART port for debugging? or any dedicated port only i have to allocate for debugging purpose? what are the main application where USART can be used and UART cannot be used?

Hi all I want to understand behavior of TX mailbox here I am trying to send three ID but only i able to see two ID at a time in TI0R. I have fewer doubts which I hope you can clear. Doubt 1:  Do I have to use three different mail box for three ID or One is enough . Doubt 2. Like in RX mailbox I have locking mechanism in which I can see different RX frame in RXFIFO0 so I mean to say It can hold upto three different messages. So is there any logic in TX mailbox also to locked or to see all ID because I think it is overwriting the buffer. CAN_TxHeaderTypeDef txHeader; uint8_t tx_data[8] = {0x11, 0x22, 0x33, 0x44, 0x55, 0x66, 0x77, 0x88}; uint32_t tx_mailbox_used; txHeader.StdId = 0x3e8; // Example CAN ID txHeader.RTR = CAN_RTR_DATA; txHeader.IDE = CAN_ID_STD; txHeader.DLC = 8; if (HAL_CAN_AddTxMessage(&hcan1, &txHeader, tx_data, &tx_mailbox_used) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } txHeader.StdId = 0x2bc; // Example CAN ID txHeader.RTR = CAN_RTR_DATA; txHeader.IDE = CAN_

hiplease only ST Employee answer this questioni use  this code for enable RDP LEVEL 1  for STM32H743 and STM32F407Can this code alone protect the program in the flash from any type of attack to read the program in the microcontroller?Will it be possible to read the program through the bootloader or the program in the sram?FLASH_OBProgramInitTypeDef OBInit; OBInit.OptionType = OPTIONBYTE_RDP; OBInit.RDPLevel = OB_RDP_LEVEL_1; HAL_FLASH_OB_Unlock(); HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); HAL_FLASHEx_OBProgram(&OBInit); HAL_FLASH_OB_Launch(); HAL_FLASH_OB_Lock(); HAL_FLASH_Lock();
