Solved

Dear ST Team,As the title of this article suggests, I have encountered an issue where the standby power consumption of the ST original VL53L1X-SATEL far exceeds the value stated in the datasheet. The first image below shows the power consumption data, and the second image is the power consumption description of the device from the datasheet. In my attempts, I have not made any hardware modifications to the VL53L1X-SATEL nor used an MCU to communicate or write to the registers of VL53L1X. I connected XSDN_I to the power GND to enter the hardware shutdown mode, with an input voltage of 2.8V. According to the power consumption parameters in the second image, I am puzzled because the value is much higher than what is stated in the datasheet.Additionally, I noticed that the VL53L1X-SATEL has a voltage regulator and level-shifting chip. I shorted R21 to bypass the power consumption of the voltage regulator module, but the power consumption was still over a hundred microamps, which does not al

Hello, I configured the STM32L4P5G-DK project with STM32CubeIDE according to the AN5050 for Octal-SPI PSRAM. At debugging state, the process was halt at SystemClock_Config. The infinite loop looks caused by while(READ_BIT(RCC->CR, RCC_CR_HSERDY) == 0U) after __HAL_RCC_HSE_CONFIG(RCC_OscInitStruct->HSEState); step. The ioc file and main c-code is attached. Please help me to solve this issue. Thanks.

Hi, Every time I click on the AI model, my clock tree is forcibly changed, and the external clock is also changed for me.

Good Morning,I am working on the Secure Boot using STM32U5 with this repository : https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeU5/tree/main/Projects/B-U585I-IOT02A/Applications/SBSFUI am trying to add a kind of "Dev. Mode" which authorise the boot even if the Application's flash is corrupted. Are there any restriction from the SBSFU_Boot code or ROM code that prevents this feature ?Moreover, do you have any links to the SBSFU_Boot.bin sources, especially the main.c or this part is private and can't be shared ?Best Regards,Loïc

Hi,I am using an STM32L476 on Nucleo64 board, I am amplifying a 1MHz 200mVpp sine wave with a 100mV offset in order to try the OPAMP but I dont think it is working. I configured OPAMP in PGA not connected mode(Also tried PGA connected too) and gave it to the same channel with my dual ADCs in order to read it from ADC. Before that I wanted to be sure that the amplified signal is correct but it is not. My Opamp configurations: static void MX_OPAMP2_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN OPAMP2_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END OPAMP2_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN OPAMP2_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END OPAMP2_Init 1 */ hopamp2.Instance = OPAMP2; hopamp2.Init.PowerSupplyRange = OPAMP_POWERSUPPLY_LOW; hopamp2.Init.Mode = OPAMP_PGA_MODE; hopamp2.Init.NonInvertingInput = OPAMP_NONINVERTINGINPUT_IO0; hopamp2.Init.InvertingInput = OPAMP_INVERTINGINPUT_CONNECT_NO; hopamp2.Init.PgaGain = OPAMP_PGA_GAIN_4; hopamp2.Init.PowerMode = OPAMP_POWERMODE_NORMALPOWER; hopamp2.Init.UserTrimming =

Hi @Julian E. , I want to change the Hue, Saturation, and Brightness of the B-Cams OMV camera all at once while running the image classification application code from the Model Zoo. However, when I run my code, only the last value gets captured and reflected on the board. For example, if my code is  void Camera_StartNewFrameAcquisition(AppConfig_TypeDef *App_Config_Ptr) { App_Config_Ptr->new_frame_ready = 0; Camera_Set_HueDegree(App_Config_Ptr->mirror_flip); Camera_Set_Saturation(App_Config_Ptr->mirror_flip); Camera_Set_Brightness(App_Config_Ptr->mirror_flip); /***Resume the camera capture in NOMINAL mode****/ BSP_CAMERA_Resume(0); } Only the Brightness gets changed and not Hue or Saturation. I've made changes to the apps_camera.c only as shown above. I've also included a copy of the version I'm using.  I would really really appreciate if anyone can guide me on how to change all three features at once. I am very desperate.

I am just wondering how it is possible that 3 adc gave me the very same value, if I change the channel and their rank are different.   Thanks for all.

I begin a new project I want to use the PA12 as a ADC input. But the pin is orange and I am unable to activate the mode or channel of the ADC.What is the explanation behind it? How do you explain it?Thanks a lot to all.

I've got SWV output showing within the STM32CubeIDE. I would now like to be able to capture this output from the command line using gdb. Is there any documentation on how to activate the SWV in gdb?I've tried using: monitor swo enable 4500000 decode 0 But that just gets "Protocol error with Rcmd".

STM32G030K6T6 - can not configure ADC1_IN16 @ PA12The STM32CubeIDE does not allowed me to enable the ADC1_IN16.The message is "IN16 Disable...Available if sequencer is set to not fully configurable in parameter settings tab"How can I enable it?

Hi Recently, I am working on a 3-phase hub motor with hall sensor to be able to drive low speed accurately. I came across the EVSPIN32G4 and works fine with sensorless-PLL speed sensing by using the MC Workbench V6.3.2. I precedeed to modify the hardware board to a single-shunt resistor (Instead of 3 shunk resistors)When changing the speed sensing to hall sensing, I started to see driver protection fault errors. Occasionally when I start ST Motor Pilot V1.2.12, the Driver Protection flickers between Orange and red, with no way of clearing the fault condition, unless I reset the STSPIN32G4 (Reset button). I tried increasing the Driver protection digital filter duration (Default 47.06 ns) to 941.18ns but it made no difference.I tried unplugging the hall sensor, but the fault condition still happens. I checked the cubeMX code configuration and the driver protection pin (PE15) is set to Open drain with pull-up. I later found out that it's something to do with boot-up is

It is same error for me with stm32g071cbt6 I just made a new project. And tried to use ADC1_IN16 pin for analog conversion. Still I can not use ADC1_IN16 Do you have a solution?

I use the platform of STM32H747 to play a video with AVI format, if the frame width*height=568*320, touchGFX can't play this and skip this function,  which type of resolution can be used for touchGFX on STM32H747 platform ？

Hello, Good morning all,I am doing a project with STM32F407VGT6 and DP83848 Ethernet Controller using LWIP stack. My requirement is UART/USB to Ethernet. I have enabled global interrupt and IRQ Handlers for both USB & UART, but when I send data from UART/USB RX interrupt is not enabling by MCU. Please suggest me the solution to enable USB/UART interrupt for receiving data. Thanks and regardsSatyanarayana

Hello guys can someone please help me change the graphic on the display through the code? My boss sent me a video in French, which I don't understand at all. I've already Googled and searched but haven't found anything yet. I'm using the STM32746G-Discovery board. For example I schould change a toggle button on the Display, only through the code. Does anyone knows a Website or a Video which explains that, please share it.

Dear Support Team,I am encountering an unexpected issue with my STM32H743IIT6 microcontroller where the GPIO operation frequency observed via an oscilloscope is only 16.6 MHz, despite configuring the bus clock at 400 MHz and AHB clock at 200 MHz. Below is the code snippet I am using for testing:__attribute__((section("RAM_CODE"))) void gpio_test() { while(1) { GPIOB->BSRR = 0x02; /* PB1 set high */ GPIOB->BSRR = 0x020000; /* PB1 set low */ } }   STM32F407 168M clock, GPIO with the same code can reach 33M

Hello,I'm trying to generate code from a CubeMX project for STM32MP257f-ev1: my concern is that I've turn on PLLs from CubeMx Clock Configuration tab but code for PLLs clock configuration is not generated in SystemClock_Config function. In main.c I get only the following:void SystemClock_Config(void){__HAL_RCC_MCO1KERCLK_SETSOURCE(RCC_MCO1CLKOUTPUTSOURCE_CLK_MCO1);}Maybe I missed something but I can't find out, can someone please help me?In attachment you can find the project .ioc fileMarco.

Helloi have a pair of X-NUCLEO-PLM01A1  plugged on two NUCLEO-G071RB that communicate in P2P mode, one is master board and one is slave boardi have adapted the example provided by ST to work on this boards: https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/x-cube-plm1.htmlThe communications  using a 2 wire to connect the CN1 on the  X-NUCLEO-PLM01A1 is completely functionalBUTif i try to connect the two board using two STEVAL-XPLM01CPL is not working anymorei connect the two high voltage side on the 230VAC 50Hz same socket and the two low voltage side to the respective X-NUCLEO-PLM01A1 there is some modification to do on the example or should be work?anyone have the same issue ?

Hi Supporter:     I attempted to train a model using NanoEdge AI Studio,Some errors occurred!    first,I create a NC-class project (ps:I haven't connected the development board. I'm just using the computer for simulation.)    add signal benchmarkWhen I clicked "Start," the screen stuck on this page and stayed there all day, only to be closed through the task manager. What's the problem?

Is it possible to synchronize two separate pairs of HRTIMER channels using the HRTIMER Master? My goal to is to synchronize HRTIMER_E with HRTIMER_C and HRTIMER_F with HRTIMER_A. Each HRTIMER pair needs to operate independently of each other. The reason for this is as follows: HRTIMER_E1 and E2 control a resonant converter. A fault coming from COMP6 (hrtim_flt3) needs a blanking source, which can only come from HRTIMER_C, therefore these timers need to work in sync. HRTIMER_F1 and F2 control another resonant converter, where a fault coming COMP2 (hrtim_flt1) needs a blanking source that can only come from HRTIMER_A.The two resonant converters work independently, so the syncing of the timer pairs needs to be independent.A workaround is to use external event capture instead of the faults to keep the blanking source within the timers driving the converters. I like the faults because they can turn the outputs off in hardware.

Hello    For the Nucleo STM32WB05KZ board, the transmission power is normally 0 dBm by default (it can go up to 8 dBm). Is it possible to modify the transmission power according to my needs, for example to 3 or 4 dBm, using STM32CubeProgrammer or another software?   thanks

hi all,i was trying to work with stm32u585 microcontroller and an external RAM IS66WVQ2M4DALL , which is a QSPI based RAM can work in 133Mhz.the RAM support DDR based data transfer. Here i am attaching my OSPI configuration  hospi1.Instance = OCTOSPI1; hospi1.Init.FifoThreshold = 1; hospi1.Init.DualQuad = HAL_OSPI_DUALQUAD_DISABLE; hospi1.Init.MemoryType = HAL_OSPI_MEMTYPE_APMEMORY; hospi1.Init.DeviceSize = 20; hospi1.Init.ChipSelectHighTime = 1; hospi1.Init.FreeRunningClock = HAL_OSPI_FREERUNCLK_DISABLE; hospi1.Init.ClockMode = HAL_OSPI_CLOCK_MODE_0; hospi1.Init.WrapSize = HAL_OSPI_WRAP_NOT_SUPPORTED; hospi1.Init.ClockPrescaler = 2; hospi1.Init.SampleShifting = HAL_OSPI_SAMPLE_SHIFTING_NONE; hospi1.Init.DelayHoldQuarterCycle = HAL_OSPI_DHQC_ENABLE; hospi1.Init.ChipSelectBoundary = 0; hospi1.Init.DelayBlockBypass = HAL_OSPI_DELAY_BLOCK_USED; hospi1.Init.MaxTran = 0; hospi1.Init.Refresh = 320; if (HAL_OSPI_Init(&hospi1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } s

Does the STM32G491KC have Quad SPI capability? The documentation and product selector tools (on website and within Cube IDE) say that it does have QSPI, but when I try to configure it within the Cube IDE the options is grayed out with the message "Dual Bank mode must be enabled"

Hello,AN4879 Rev 6 - April 2023 does not mention STM32G0 and STM32G4 USB functionality, also the series has been release since some time. Explaining similarities and differences to the other series wooul be usefull

On this page: https://www.st.com/en/microcontrollers-microprocessors/stm32wle4c8.htmlThe device is specified as having LoRa support in the first paragraph of the description but lower down in the "More from the product line" section the WLE4 chips are indicated not to include LoRa. Also the product selector filtering includes WLE4 devices when LoRa is filtered for.The datasheet says: "The LoRa® modulation is available in STM32WLx5xx only." so I think the web site is incorrect?
