Hello. I am doing stepper motor step control. I am using the "HAL_TIM_PWM_PulseFinishedCallback" function for this operation. Is there a more functional usage method than this? I can't get the max torque of the motor. Can you help me? Motor Driver "TB6600" / Step Motor "Nema17"

Hi, As I am doing a Pspice simulation, for which I am using STM32F030R8, I need the Pspice model of STM32F030R8. To use the GPIO Functionality to connect the MCU to the simulation circuit in LTspice or OrCAD Pspice.

Hi, I am planning to use STM32WL5MOCH6TR which you have suggested. So, to start with can I use this expansion board which contains the same chip for prototype purpose. Can I order this board https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/b-wl5m-subg1.html?ecmp=tt9470_gl_link_feb2019&rt=db&id=DB4904 . or do you suggest any other development board.   Thanks, Praba

I'm using the VL53L1X in the Arduino environment. During the initialization phase, I can read the device address as 0x29, and the device ID is EACC — so there's no issue with that.However, when I try to read the register VL53L1_FIRMWARE__SYSTEM_STATUS, a problem occurs — its value is not 0x01 as expected.I printed out the register value and it shows 2.Here's that section of the code: uint8_t system_status = readReg(VL53L1_FIRMWARE__SYSTEM_STATUS);SerialUSB.print("System Status: ");SerialUSB.println(system_status, HEX);  while ((readReg(VL53L1_FIRMWARE__SYSTEM_STATUS) & 0x01) == 0 ){    if (millis() - timeoutStart > 5000) {  // 延长等待时间至5秒      SerialUSB.println("Error: Boot completion timeout.");      return false;    }  }  SerialUSB.println("Boot completed successfully.");

I am putting together a water level sensor based on the vl53l4ed. The device will be in an outdoors setting with wild swings in environmental conditions. I am having hard time to design a cover / cover glass system for the TOF sensor. I have now concluded that it would be best to purchase a pre-made cover glass assembly for this sensor.  I expect accumulation of dust and other contaminants on the cover glass over time so I would prefer a zero calibration option with individual emitter and receiver covers separated by a divider. Are there commercial cover glass options available for the vl53l4ed model? I found a few options on the ST website but none for the vl53l4ed. Also, are there vendors in the USA who carry these cover glasses? If available, the vendor has to be NDAA-compliant. Thanks

Moved from this post. Hello,   I'm currently working on the STM32H735G-DK dev board, using CubeIDE version 1.18.1 and integrated CubeMX version 6.14.1.202504091515, and this bug is still here. When I launch a debug, the firmware get stuck in the ExitRun0Mode function. After deleting the definition of USE_PWR_LDO_SUPPLY as you explained, everything works.  Regards,

I am writing to inquire about the thermal resistance of the L6201PS. The datasheet provides information on the thermal resistance for an aluminum PCB, but I need to know the thermal resistance when using a glass epoxy (FR4) PCB.Could you please provide the thermal resistance values for the L6201PS on an FR4 PCB?Thank you for your assistance.

hi,my question is why i can't analyze my model about onnx and cubemx don't back type about my error.my model about onnx size is nearly 3mb,so the compression which i used is high.but the cubemx still can't analyze.emmm i hope their have a handsome guys can help me.i will very appreciate to you!

Hi, I have a problem with CMSIS RTOS v1 using STM32F103RET6. I have about 6 - 7 tasks. The first task is the StartDefaultTask, after finishing initializing, when running to osSemaphoreRelease, it gets to configAssert(pxQueue) and loop forever. The semaphore is reference to another task, which the task combines at least two semaphores to work. Can anyone meet this before? Also the task which combines two semaphores work like this, where the callback_timeout is released from the StartDefaultTaskif(osSemaphoreWait(save_data, osWaitForever) == osOK){ if(osSemaphoreWait(callback_timeout,osWaitForever)==osOK){

Hi, I'm using the code generated by CubeMX ver 16.14.0 following the following link to develop a USBPD sink. https://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mcu/wiki/STM32StepByStep:Getting_started_with_USB-Power_Delivery_Dual_RoleI added an APDO to the PDO list but it is not working. I traced the issue to be coming from the USBPD_DPM_RequestMessageRequest function when it calculates the allowable power. It uses the DPM_SNKRequestedPower.MaxOperatingCurrentInmAunits found in the DPM_USER_Settings structure. The issue is that this value is not initialized. If I use the cubeMonitor-UCPD app, I can see that APDO is defined in the SINK capabilities tab, so the data is there somewhere. Additionally, if I press "SEND TO TARGET", the DPM_SNKRequestedPower.MaxOperatingCurrentInmAunits found in the DPM_USER_Settings is now correct. Is this an issue related to missing initialization in the code generated by the cubeMX which is leaving the DPM_USER_Settings to

Hello, I am currently using a STM32l433 with the following configuration: CAN_FilterTypeDef CAN_FilterInitStructure = {0}; CAN_FilterInitStructure.FilterBank = filterNum; CAN_FilterInitStructure.FilterScale = CAN_FILTERSCALE_16BIT; // 11-bits StdId left-aligned on the 32-bits word register CAN_FilterInitStructure.FilterIdHigh = id << 5; CAN_FilterInitStructure.FilterIdLow = 0; CAN_FilterInitStructure.FilterMaskIdHigh = mask << 5; CAN_FilterInitStructure.FilterMaskIdLow = 0; CAN_FilterInitStructure.FilterFIFOAssignment = CAN_FILTER_FIFO0; CAN_FilterInitStructure.FilterMode = CAN_FILTERMODE_IDMASK;   It globally works. So if my ID is 0x701 and my mask 0xFFFF, the callback will be called for every message ID 0x701. However, when I change the mask, for exaple to a value like 0x700, in order to only get the '7' from the standard ID, my callback is not called for every message with ID 0x7__.I also notice the that the 16bit filter lenght require the RTR, IDE and E

Hello! I'm creating my own board based on the STM32H745I-DISCO board. I want to use the LQFP208 package of the STM32H745, which has fewer pins than the original package of the DISCO board. I need to connect Ethernet, a display, and QSPI, among other peripherals. I've encountered a conflict where the LCD_DE pin connects to PF10, which is also used by the QSPI_CLK pin. I saw that QSPI_CLK is also available on PB2. However, PB2 is occupied by MII_TX_ERR/nINT.My question arises when I notice that this pin is not defined in the Ethernet configuration in MXCube (I'm new to the CubeIDE environment and ST's frameworks, and I'm worried I might be missing something). In fact, I disconnected this pin between the Ethernet driver and the STM32H745, and communication with a test server still works. So my question is: Is it really a good idea to leave the MIIMII_TX_ERR/nINT pin unconnected? Could it be that communication works for now, but if some kind of error occurs, it could cause proble

Hello, I have Version STM32CubeIDE : 1.18.0, and I get a program that was communicated to me, but I have this message below :  And I downloaded and installed STM32CubeMX 6.14.1 version, but it seems that it is not taken into account in the environment of STM32CubeIDE version 1.18.0.  Here is the path I installed the STM32CubeMX 6.14.1 version How to link STM32Cube IDE with STM32CubeMX so I can open the program. Hello, I'm learning embedded development (junior level) and picked up a free STM32u575zit6q Nucleo Dev Board.My goal is to build an embedded system that captures a VIN string and saves it to a .csv file. Ideally done through embedded and low level. Later I'd like to incorporate cloud systems to easily see the csv as a spreadsheet on an app or webpage and phase out the LCD/IPS display.My main question is, how important is an FIFO for this board and would it hurt if I don't buy a camera that has one installed? What cams would be ideal for this project? Is there a system for scanning VINs and converting them to strings easily? I was thinking of incorporating Yolo/OpenCV but not sure if this microprocessor would be powerful enough.Any advice on my design choices? Display:2.4 inch SPI onilne shop factory ESP32 LCD TFT Electronic Module colorful RGB 65k ILI9341 Display 320*240  Camera Module:b_u585i_iot02_: when looking through the projects, I noticed the STMU5 alrea

In SPC5 Studio, I have an example of CAN communication using the SPC58xGxx board. When loopback mode is enabled, the transmission works correctly. However, when I disable loopback mode, the transmission fails. Could you provide guidance on how to successfully transmit CAN messages without using loopback mode? Additionally, I would like to know how to monitor the CAN signals using Peak-CAN.

hello, I ask for the following clarification: I am using a two-channel encoder, A and B, and I want to estimate the rotation speed of the encoder shaft as precisely as possible. I started setting the TIM2 in encoder mode.My encoder generates 1200 pulses per revolution.I called the function: HAL_TIM_Encoder_Start_IT(&htim2, TIM_CHANNEL_ALL); and : void HAL_TIM_IC_CaptureCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim) { counter = __HAL_TIM_GET_COUNTER(htim); }which increases the counter variable every time a channel A (and B) get a variation (rising/falling edge settable from CUBE IDE).At one full revolution of the encoder, with my settings of frequency = 160 MHz, Ps =0 and ARR = 4800, the counter variable starts at zero and goes to the value 4800 at each full revolution, then goes back to zero, and so on (all visible via serial on my laptop by using Putty software). My question is: how can I estimate the rotation speed? I have read a lot of information about this but I am still confused. An

Hi,I am developing Linux/RTOS for STM32MP257F-EV1 with a slight twist.The STM32MP257F has two A35 cores (Core-0 and Core-1), a M33 Sub-core (Core-3) and a Cortex- M0+.By default Linux uses A35 Core0 and Core-1(both cores). I want to run Linux on A35 Core0 and RTOS on A35 Core-1.To achieve this I am setting [nr_cpus=1] in the Kernel command.This option forces the Kernel to use only Core-0 for execution.Since Linux uses SDRAM for execution, I am loading my RTOS in SRAM via a debugger.But the moment the contents of SDRAM are changed, there is an exception/abort on Linux and the following message is displayed:------------------------------------------------------------------------------------E/TC:0E/TC:0 Core data-abort at address 0x7a480050E/TC:0 esr 0x96000210 ttbr0 0x8213b000 ttbr1 0x00000000 cidr 0x0E/TC:0 cpu #0 cpsr 0x800003c4E/TC:0 x0 0000000000000000 x1 0000000000000000E/TC:0 x2 0000000000008080 x3 0000000000002020E/TC:0 x4 00000000dededede x5 00000000ababababE/TC:0 x6 00000000abab

I am using the X-Cube-AI to deploy a neural network onto  a STM32N6570-DK board. I selected the "n6-allmems-O3" option, and after analyzing, it shows two data, labeled as used RAM and used Flash. I am wondering since I have selected the "allmems" option, the RAM usage refers to the usage of the external RAM or the internal RAM, and the Flash usage refers to the internal Flash or the external Flash.

Currently am Working on STM32H7x series , A'm confused regarding the importance of SPI for Ethernet(LAN9250V/ML) we have to use external bridge for communication. Give some samples codes to implement this perticular Ethernet

I am trying to configure an STLUX285 SMED to trigger an ADC measurement but am unable to find the documentation of the registers required to do this.RM0380 claims "SMED as ADC trigger source" in section 21.16."AFR_IOMXP2" is supposed to have a bit called "ADC_HWtrg" yet I cannot find it.likewise the bit "SMD_HWtrg" seems not to be documented anywhere.How do I configure the SMED to trigger an ADC reading at a precise point in time?For context:The SMED is used to drive the primary mosfet of a flyback converter. I want to use it also to trigger an adc conversion of an aux winding.

hi, I have been trying to run PMSM motors with B-G431B-ESC1, I follow the steps given in the user manual, 1. I profile the motor and save the parameters 2. use the motor control workbench to generate a project, and generate source code, 3. run it in Cube IDE to flash it on the development board. However, I am unable to run my motor with that source code. The motor doesn't even start. I also face inconsistency when running the motor with the same source code on different occasions. What could be the issue, and what should I do to resolve this issue? since the profiler is working, where can I get a profiler code based on which the profiling .hex file is created to debug the issue? Thank you, Madhav

I'm generating external interrupts on an WeActStudio STM32F446RET6 board. I've the pins configured as pull-up. When I set one of them to GND, several random interrupts from other pins are generated. For example, if I connect pin PB3 to GND, I get interrupts from PB3 and PB4.I attach the complete project, I'm compiling it with Visual Studio Code.What could be the cause? My callback function is:void HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback(uint16_t GPIO_Pin) { static uint32_t last_interrupt_time[6] = {0}; // For multiples pins uint32_t current_time = HAL_GetTick(); #define debounce_time 50 //ms switch(GPIO_Pin) { case GPIO_PIN_0: if (current_time - last_interrupt_time[0] > debounce_time) { last_interrupt_time[0] = current_time; printf("INT PB0\r\n"); } break; case GPIO_PIN_1: if (current_time - last_interrupt_time[1] > debounce_time) { last_interrupt_time[1] = current_time; printf("INT PB1\r\n"); } break; case GPIO_PIN_3: if (current_time - last_interrupt_time[2] > debou

In my design I needed to use the SPI on the 32-pin WL33, which normally is SWCLK, so I relocated it from its usual PA3, to PB2. When connecting the debugger, it was unable to find the target, which is usually an indication of incorrect connections to SWCLK and/or SWDIO.The manual (rm0511) on pp58-59 describes the alternate functions, and I can see that using PB2 is a valid configuration using AF1 on on that pin. However, when doing a deeper dive into the generated code, I discovered that it has generated code for pin PA2 (SWDIO), (albeit using the wrong define for the Alternate member of the GPIO initialization struct, which is GPIO_AF0_LCO, instead of GPIO_AF0_SWDIO, but luckily they have the same value!), but NO CODE has been generated for SWCLK. As the default alternate register value, according to the manual, is AF0, then it comes up on the wrong pin. Hence the debugger error.I am presuming that I can fix this by adding code to configure PB2 to use AF1? If there are any other sugge
