Hi, I'm opening this issue because I log data with STEVAL-STWINKT1B (battery-powered), and I haven’t been able to get the automode feature working as described in the QuickStart Guide. Here are the steps I followed:Formatted my SD card (SanDisk Extreme 256 GB SDSQXCD-256G-GN6MA) to FAT32 with a 32K allocation unit size;Configured the device_config.json file as shown below and copied it to the root directory of the SD card (which appears as “G:” in my system). Based on the config, I expected to get 4 folders with logs (one per acquisition), each containing 30 seconds of data logging, though I’m not totally sure this is the correct behavior to expect?Inserted the SD card into the logger;Pressed the RESET button;Pressed the USR button (the green LED started blinking immediately);Waited approximately 3 minutes, which should be enough time for 4 acquisitions of 30 seconds each (i.e., nof_acquisition * logging_period_s = 4 * 30 s).Result:When opening the SD card (G:), I only see one fol

So I have a scroll list with several elements and snapping set to true. The scroll list can show up to 3 elements on screen with no scrolling.I can move the scrolling list both by scrolling and clicking two buttons (up and down) that basically use the animateToItem to move the scroll list to the first or last element. Now, because I have to update an image according to the element shown on the scroll list, I need to know if the first element or the last element of the scroll list is visible. Is there a way to do that or do I need to implement it myself?

Hello all, I am really new to TouchGFX and can't find a solution to my problem. I want to increase or decrease a displayed value on my screen by clicking on a button. I think I have to read the value each time by using getWildcard(). But now I have a data type conflict as I can't just handle it as an int and increase it. In the following you can see a picture of my screen. Thank you in advance :)

We try generate signal defined by toggle table , but command do nothink. (except ARR toggles) if (HAL_TIM_OC_Start_DMA(&htim2, TIM_CHANNEL_4, &tim_values[0], idx) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }have 1.7.0 U5 firmware some known issue ? Or what is required to right setup this.We try add enable GPDMA etc. No change. For ARR is one toggle no based on table. Seems we skip some trigger setup or U5 HAL is buggy .? Pls help. Hello everyone    I'm working on a student project with an STM35H563RIT6 and a Power over Ethernet (PoE) supply. I'm currently validating my design, but, reading the datasheet of the PM8805TR to do PoE, I just see the output current (max 2A) but no voltage (except VOB everywhere in the datasheet without any really data on it).   Did I passed over it without seeing the information ? Or are there any calculation to identify the output voltage ?    Thanks in advance for your answer Kind regards Sappherien

Hello everyone,Does anyone have experience with changing the function of a pin in program?(Not CubeMX tool) I'm currently using the STM32H5 MCU to develop a motor drive inverter. For rotor angle feedback, we’re considering two options: Encoder (ABZ) and Hall sensors. As shown below, when configuring TIM2 in Encoder + Index mode, it occupies PA0, PA1, and PA4. However, if TIM2 is configured in Input Capture mode (for Hall sensors), it uses PA0, PA1, and PA2 instead. We want to let the user select the desired feedback method (either Hall or Encoder), and then have the firmware initialize the corresponding pin configuration at runtime. So, my question is: how should I config the CubeMX configuration from the beginning, and how can I implement the function initialization in code to change different function?Has anyone had experience with this type of setup?"

Hi,when looking into the schematics of the STM32H735G-DK board (MB1520B), the Ethernet-PHY is connected via RMII.Now when I configure RMII for an STM32H7 in CubeMX, the interface pins do fit properly to what is used in the MB1520B schematics - except the RX_ERR-line. According to the schematics it is connected to PB10, but when I enable PB10 in CubeMX for use as RX_ERR, it is marked in yellow with the remark "no mode".So...how do fit both things together? How can I enable RX_ERR being used in Cube MX for RMII-mode?Thanks!

Dear ST Developer Support,I download the STM32MP2 android 13 images from https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stm32mp2droidsta.html#get-software .When I flash the st-android-13.0.0-2024-07-31-stm32mp257f-ev1-emmc-starter images by using STM32CubeProgrammer v2.19 for windows, I would fail on flashing super.img phase. The error message show "Error while reading the file".Would you help me solve this problem. Hi everyone!I'm trying for the first time to create a project using TouchGFX without using the Designer. My short term is objective is as simple as to see in the screen numbers generated by a function created in main.c or model.cpp.1) Is there a template of files and folders to implement touchgfx from scratch?2) What are the configurations in the .ioc in order to use the screen and touchgfx?I've already installed and activated TouchGFX in the Mx/middleware but I had several build errors due to non-existing or incomplete files.I'm using CubeIDE and the stm32h750B_dk board.Thank you in advance for all your support.Kind Regards,TJAttachements: .ioc configurations, file tree and compilation errors

Hello! I am working with the developer cloud to benchmark some models' inference speed in a controlled environment. It was working well for the STM32F746G-DISCO board until a couple of days ago, when it just kept saying that my model has a measured inference time of "undefined ms."   I was wondering if this issue was known and whether it was possible to benchmark the inference time of my model locally on my board with the same environment as the developer cloud. I am aware of the local benchmarking tool in the ModelZoo services, but it seems to only give the estimated memory footprints, not the inference time.Thank you!

I recently acquired the STM32F469NI-Discovery board as it purported to support most of the functions that I wanted - GUI, USB OTG, SD card, etc. However, on bringing it up, it did not load and remained blank. (Customer support has not been supportive in getting the demo software loaded.) I have been able to run simple TouchGFXDesigner projects with ST332Cube. But, when I try to add simple functionality, I find that what's in he .ioc file does not agree with what's on the board (in the schematic). The best I have been able to do is determine that the promised sample code is not available. Can someone recommend a newer board that has better support? The larger the display, the better. I can work with almost any daughter board configuration (Arduino, etc.) as long as it is well documented. A primary requirement is that the source code for the examples be easily accessed. For those interested, this is to be used as a front-end controller for custom lab test equipment. The GUI is primarily to

Hello everyone,I have a GRU-based model that I trained using PyTorch and then exported to ONNX. I'm trying to run it on various ST boards.According to this documentation: ST Neural-ART Operator Supportit seems that the Neural-ART accelerator does not support the GRU layer. However, from what I understand, other ST Edge AI boards should support it—with some limitations described here: ONNX Supported OpsThat said, when I try to compile the model using the ST Edge AI Developer Cloud, I get the following error:TOOL ERROR: operands could not be broadcast together with shapes (512,) (256,)This is the same issue I previously encountered here: Community Thread - GRU/LSTM Model IssueAt this point, I'm not sure whether GRU layers are simply not supported at all, or if there's a way to make them work under specific conditions.I'm attaching the ONNX model in case it helps. Thanks in advance for any support or suggestions!

Hi,I have some noise on the Vdd pin of the ST25R3911B.I send the fieldon() command and there is a huge noise at 27MHz frequency on the Vdd (8) pin.Below is a screenshot of the refdesign disco Vdd pin with the fieldon and the noise observed on my board (same base time). There is a huge difference between them. It is a problem for me because when the tag is at field limit, I have rfal error (err 9) and this error is not present on the demokit. I think it comes from this noise. There are 100nF and 10uF decoupling caps on the Vdd. Here is the routing of the readerIt seems that the reader generates noise at the crystal oscillator frequency. What can I do to reduce this noise? Any idea?Best Regards

Hi  engineer, Could you provide the Qualification Report of M95256-WDW6TP? Thanks,Gloria

Hi,I would like to know if it is possible to use another oscillator source other than a crystal for the ST25R300?I saw another post for the ST25R3911B, Is it possible to use a Clock Oscillator instead of Quartz crystal oscillator?, although obviously this is not the same chip I would like to use.On the ST25R300 I do see there is a test register I can access, but I don't see any details on using an external oscillator.Would a similar setup be possible for this chip?Thank you, Kaitlyn

Hello,      I am working with X-CUBE-NFC6 example and I am able to read and write data to a rfid tag successfully.     Just as a note, hw configuration is nucleo U083RC boards with NFC08A1 expander board for rfid reader.     I would like to be able to read 2 or 3 tags at the same time but checking the demoCycle() function  code in the app_x-cube-nfcx.c I am not sure it's possible , I would have to discard a tag once it's read so it's not detected again and others tags are read ? Thanks,     Mihai

Can anyone identify this diode? I am looking to purchase a replacement but am unsure of the specifications.

I am currently working or a project with microcontrollers STM32 and this is my current situation:- I want to send from my NUCLEO f4476ZE the desired speed via UART to my other controller which is B-G431B-ESC1 discovery kit with STM32G431CB MCU.- I have this discovery kit connected to the motor (I can make it run with the CubeIDE project generated from the Motor Control Workbench that i have created with this Discovery kit and a Maxon 251601 motor). The problem that I have is that i don't know which structure of message should I send from the Nucleo to the ESC1 for the ESC1 to read and interpret it correctly to move the motor at the desired speed of the message.I was trying sending this as desired speed:char tx_buff[32]; int velocidad = 1500; while (1) { sprintf(tx_buff, "SPD%d\n", velocidad); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, (uint8_t*)tx_buff, strlen(tx_buff), 1000); HAL_Delay(1000); }And for the receiver I wanted to add this: HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart2, &rx_buf[rx

I just installed the latest STM32CubeIDE 1.18.1 on a mac Studio M2 running Sequoia 15.5.  The default GNU make on the machine is /usr/bin/make, version 3.81.  The IDE is clearly creating makefiles for a later version of make, because building applications in the IDE errors out with "**** multiple target patterns" on a make rule that lists the elf and map files as targets.  I have make 4.4.1 installed via brew, but how to tell STM32CubeIDE where to pick it up is buried somewhere and I'm not seeing anything in any documentation.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,I'm currently trying to get Bluetooth working from Zephyr. I'm working with the Zephyr sample codezephyr\samples\bluetooth\peripheral_dis.I'm using a Nucleo-WB55RG board. Using STMCubeProgrammer I've loaded the FUS at 0x080EE000 and the file stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin at 0x080D0000. The chart in the release notes doesn't appear completely with any of the browsers I've tried so I may be using the wrong addresses, but it's the best I can do.The log from STMCubeProgrammer shows:17:25:54 : STM32CubeProgrammer API v2.19.0 | Windows-64Bits17:26:03 : UR connection mode is defined with the HWrst reset mode17:26:03 : ST-LINK SN : 066EFF56498177486722122217:26:03 : ST-LINK FW : V2J39M2717:26:03 : Board : NUCLEO-WB55RG17:26:03 : Voltage : 3.26V17:26:03 : SWD freq : 4000 KHz17:26:03 : Connect mode: Normal17:26:03 : Reset mode : Hardware reset17:26:03 : Device ID : 0x49517:26:03 : Revision ID : Rev X17:26:03 : Debug in Low Power mode enabled.17:26:03 : UPLOADING OPTION BYTES DATA ...17:26:0

Hi All,   I am working on a design that has been working for years. Now we wanted to design a revision of the PCB with the LSM6DS3TR but sadly it became obsolete and I can't find it back on the website of ST.Could the LSM6DS3TR-C be a Drop-In-Replacement for this part or another type? Thanks in advance & kind regards,
