Hello,The target MCU is STM32L151ZETx (LQFP144), and the main clock frequency is 32 MHz.Normally, the system operates in Run mode, but I plan to use Sleep mode or Low Power Sleep mode when the supply current decreases. My question is: when entering Sleep mode or Low Power Sleep mode and then returning to Run mode, is it possible to resume execution from the exact code line (or position) where it was before entering Sleep mode, without requiring clock setup or any additional operation?Thank you.

I was trying to deploy YOLO models with NUCLEO-N657X0-Q board, following instructions shown in the README file in the repository "STM32N6-GettingStarted-ObjectDetection"README.md . While using prebuild binaries, it told me to use STM32CubeProgrammer to program several .hex files. And here's the problem:After connected, I choose the "ai_fsbl.hex" file, and clicked "start programming".Then the connection is disabled, with 2 messages saying "connections to device 0x486 is lost" and "failed to download files". The log is shown below:16:51:32 : Opening and parsing file: ai_fsbl.hex 16:51:32 : Memory Programming ... 16:51:32 : File : ai_fsbl.hex 16:51:32 : Size : 59.59 KB 16:51:32 : Address : 0x70000000 16:51:32 : Erasing memory corresponding to segment 0: 16:51:32 : Download in Progress: 16:51:32 : Error: failed to download Sector[0] 16:51:32 : Error: failed to download the File 16:51:32 : Warning: Connection to device 0x486 is lost 16:51:32 : Disconnected from device. After

Hi GuysI am doing a project and I notice that if I unplug the UART cable(FTDI) and then connect it again, there is a chance that there would be mysterious bytes received from RDR. What is more interesting is that the mysterious bytes are actually the messages that was sent out to UART Tx. During the testing, I am not using any UART serial monitoring tool like Putty or what's so ever, so there should not be any inputs to the UART Rx.  But it just happened, not often, but if I repeat disconnect and reconnect dozens of times, then something from UART Tx got into the UART Rx buffer. I have confirmed that those mysterious bytes are read out from RDR. Has any one know what's happening ?  Thanks.

The goal is to test the Adafruit Gamepad QT with the Nucleo-G071RB board. This requires using the Adafruit seesaw C++ library of source files, which transmits analog joystick signals using the I2C protocol.I used the code example I2C_TwoBoards_ComPolling (C-code) as a starting point an...Added both the Adafruit seesaw and BusIO libraries (C++ code) to the project,Updated the Project Include paths,Added the library paths to the Project Source Locations (Figure 1), andRenamed the main.c file to main.cpp.Problem: the project does not built the Adafruit libraries, the compiler just ignores them. What is the solution for this? How do I build the entire project, including the Adafruit libraries? Thank you!!!Figure 1.

Hi Everyone. We are using ST25R3918-AQET in our product. But this IC shortage in recently, so we want to find an Alternative part that can match with ST25R3918-AQET and doesn't change anything related to FW or PCB design. We appreciate your support in this case, because this will impact our production.

I tested the LSE CSS function on the Nucleo-L053, but I found that short-circuiting the crystal oscillator pins failed to trigger the CSS interrupt. The Reference Manual for L4 series (RM0394) says on page 1007:"When the LPTIM is running with an asynchronous clock, reading the LPTIM_CNT register mayreturn unreliable values. So in this case it is necessary to perform two consecutive read accesses and verify that the two returned values are identical. It should be noted that for a reliable LPTIM_CNT register read access, two consecutive read accesses must be performed and compared. A read access can be considered reliable when the values of the two consecutive read accesses are equal."1. What does "asynchronous clock" mean?2. The block diagram, Figure 337 on page 988 shows a "Synchronization" block but is vague as to what this pertains to.3. Also, what is meant by "kernel clock"?  If I am using the LSI oscillator for the clock source (CLKMUX = 0), where does this "lptim_ker_ck" come from?  How is this mapped to LSI clock?  This is confusing.4. If the LPTIM1 is being fed by LSI clock, does the caveat page 1007 still

I'm experiencing FDCAN Memory Access Failures on the STM32H503KBUX during CAN Rx. I am also experiencing intermittent CAN Rx message drops (every 1 in a 200), and I believe the two are related since no others errors are firing. I know the drops are happening on the STM32 because I can see the messages on the bus with my CAN debugger and there are no error frames. I'm struggling to understand why this Memory access error is happening and how to proceed with solving it. The only info I can find is in rm0492. However, it doesnt really say what might cause these events to happen. Other relevant info:- Using internal clock- Freertos- Using to `HAL_FDCAN_RxFifo0Callback` to read from FIFO- Config hfdcan1.Instance = FDCAN1; hfdcan1.Init.ClockDivider = FDCAN_CLOCK_DIV1; hfdcan1.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_CLASSIC; hfdcan1.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_NORMAL; hfdcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = ENABLE; hfdcan1.Init.TransmitPause = ENABLE; hfdcan1.Init.ProtocolException = EN

I am having a problem reading SPI data on an STM32F407 where it always returns 0x00. I actually have this working using HAL on the same hardware, however for legacy reasons I need to get this working with SPL. This application is just sending clock signals to the slave and reading the received data. There is no activity on MOSI.I can scope the signals and see the expected traffic on the SCK and MISO so I at least know my clock transmit is working. I just can grab the correct read data. Here is my code. I feel like I'm missing something basic for SPL. Any insight would be helpful.#include "main.h" #include "stm32f4xx_spi.h" #include "stm32f4xx_usart.h" #include "config.h" #include "board_init.h" #include "gpio.h" #define TIMEOUT_TIME 1000; uint16_t SPI_TransmitReceiveByte(uint16_t data); uint16_t spiData; void main() { uint32_t loopCounter = 0; SystemInit(); init_IO(); SPI3_Init(); powerOnLED(); while (1) { loopCounter++; if (loopCounter == 10000) { spiData = SP

Hi there,According to the STM32H755 datasheet, the Cortex-M7 frequency can reach up to 480MHz.However, when I configure the sysclk in STM32CubeMX, it shows the maximum frequency is 300MHz.What's wrong with my config? Or is there any misunderstanding by me?Thanks for your help!

I'm trying to go about creating a USB Audio interface on a NUCLEO-H7S3L8, receiving USB audio and forwarding it to the SAI, in order to send to an external DAC.Among other tests, I went back to checking when the functions in usbd_audio_if.c get called, to set up transfers of the packets received. And while in a previous version of the same project, on audio playback on the host, AUDIO_AudioCmd_HS() was called, allowing me to continue handling data accordingly, after a Cube MX update (6.14->6.15) and some changes on DMA (to get circular -> non-circular) and SAI (Output Drive enabled) settings, it no longer gets called on playback (a breakpoint within it never gets reached).Following the IRQ handler function for USB on either playback or idle, it only ends up within the code block for handling an incomplete "ISO OUT Interrupt", reaching the "__HAL_PCD_CLEAR_FLAG(hpcd, USB_OTG_GINTSTS_PXFR_INCOMPISOOUT)" macro.Since the changes I've made ever since it was functional seem mostly

According to some reference it is good to have ground polygon under IC 1. Is it okay to have ground polygon under IC? 2. Does it effects heating issue?3. I saw two hole behind the IC of nucleo 144 board. What that mean?

Hello ST Team,I am currently working on a project that integrates the ST25R3916B NFC reader, and I would like to study and reference the PCB design of the X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 evaluation board.Could you please provide the Altium Designer project files (.PrjPCB, .SchDoc, .PcbDoc) for this board?I have already checked the official product page, but only Gerber manufacturing files, schematic PDFs, and BOM are available. I would like to obtain the editable Altium source files for learning and integration purposes.Product page reference:https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/x-nucleo-nfc08a1.htmlThank you very much for your support!Best regards,Martinsunyinuo62@gmail.com

Hello Everybody,Here are the software and boards in this case:1. MC workbench 6.3.22. NUCLEO-F401RE3. X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1I try to use the boards to obtain motor parameters. While other parameters were acquired normally, I encountered an issue with the Hall sensor parameters. When connected to two different motors, both returned errors indicating that H1 and H2 were not connected (as illustrated in the picture). However, the motor-board wiring is confirmed correct, and during motor rotation, normal voltage signals are present at the H1 and H2 pins of the motors. What could be causing this error in the Motor Profiler? Thank you.

Hello everyone, I need to install the firmware support package for STM32H7 series offline. On the website (STM32CubeH7 | Product - STMicroelectronics), I found both the "STM32Cube MCU Package for STM32H7 series" and the "Patch for STM32CubeH7". What is the difference between them ?

On my current board the STM32G030 is getting very hot.  I have even tried a board with no connections to the processor and all pins set to analog.  I have checked the power supply and it's 3.3V.  The board runs OK but I am worried about the processor temp.  I have attached a schematic of the board.  Could something internally be configured to cause this heating?

After successfully RDP to my boardNow i want to make fake HDMI information, to make it auto output. So i no need to plug in HDMI display, but still can connect through freeRDP from PC.Can someone here ever did this, or have any ideas about how to do it under yocto build.  Here is something i try refer this thread of arch linux : https://discuss.kde.org/t/how-to-create-a-virtual-monitor-display/2725/10root@stm32mp1:/sys/class/drm# ls -al drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 0 May 29 18:48 . drwxr-xr-x 63 root root 0 May 29 18:48 .. lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 May 29 18:48 card0 -> ../../devices/platform/soc/5a001000.display-controller/drm/card0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 May 29 18:48 card0-HDMI-A-1 -> ../../devices/platform/soc/5a001000.display-controller/drm/card0/card0-HDMI-A-1 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 May 29 19:13 card1 -> ../../devices/platform/etnaviv/drm/card1 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 May 29 19:14 renderD128 -> ../../devices/platform/etnaviv/drm/renderD128 -r--r--r-- 1 roo

I'm developing a project using an STM32 Nucleo board. At the core of this project is a UART-based communication protocol running in interrupt (IT) mode — not polling or DMA. This protocol is responsible for controlling multiple subsystems such as a relay module and a fan speed controller. However, most of these subsystem modules were previously written in polling mode.My question is:Can I integrate these polling-based modules into my current UART IT-mode communication system without causing issues? Or should I consider converting them to interrupt or DMA mode to prevent CPU blocking or communication delays?Additionally:What should I watch out for to ensure the CPU doesn't get blocked and UART interrupts don't get delayed in this mixed-mode setup?Extra context:There are 20 NTC temperature sensors in the system, and temperature from all of them is read once every second using ADC. The highest temperature value is selected and stored in a variable. Based on this value, the fan speed is adj

I am testing the board with a 14s Li-ion battery, but I am unable to read the cell voltages or configure any register through the GUI. I shorted the X1 and P2 power supply inputs and supplied 12 V to both. This was the only setup in which I could get a green ACK indicator. The results were:Only cell 1 showed a voltage, but it was incorrect (5.8 V).When I try to write or read any register, I receive an ACK, but the register value does not remain as written.I also tried to connect VBAT (P2-15) to C14 (by soldering R22) and GND (P2-9 or 23) to C0, but in this configuration the device does not start and the D13 LED does not blink. I tried several times, resetting all the power supplies in different sequences, but I still could not communicate with the device.I have not been able to start the IC using only the battery or to read the correct voltage values. Any tips would be really appreciated.

Hi! Im doing my project using mpu6500 and I use hal_i2c_mem_read to read the WHOIMI register at 0x75 with the device address 0x69 (AOD to vcc) and I alway get the value 0x00. Why is that? is this module require something soldered to this pad (img) to turn on i2c protocol or what, please help me out.

Hello,I am working with an STM32G431K8T6and using the LL library to configure SPI in master mode. The issue is with the MISO pin (PB4).The pin is configured as SPI input, with no pull-up or pull-down.When PB4 is left unconnected, the voltage is measured at 3.3v.If I short PB4 directly to GND, the current goes up to about 65mA, which looks like the pin is driving strongly, similar to push-pull output.Because of this, the SPI slave cannot pull the line low enough, and communication fails.Configuration Details:void MX_SPI1_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN SPI1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END SPI1_Init 0 */ LL_SPI_InitTypeDef SPI_InitStruct = {0}; LL_GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; /* Peripheral clock enable */ LL_APB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB2_GRP1_PERIPH_SPI1); LL_AHB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB2_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOA); LL_AHB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB2_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOB); /**SPI1 GPIO Configuration PA7 ------> SPI1_MOSI PB3 ------> SPI1_SCK PB4 ------> SPI1_MISO

I have been trying to deploy a simple ML model on my STM32 NUCLEO H755ZIQ, i've been following a tutorial as am learning right now, but no matter how many times i try i cant seem to shake of these three errors:1. when i try to open the XcubeAI  interface a dialogue pops up saying setting up USART3 but it never stops loading, i suppose its a bug but i leave it to the experts to decide what it is. 2. when i try to validate the code on target board, it gives an error: E200(ValidationError): TARGET: Unable to bind the ST.AI runtime with "network" c-model: []E801(HwIOError): Invalid firmware – /dev/cu.usbmodem11403:1152003. When am trying to build the model i got this error: error: unknown type name 'ai_i8'error: unknown type name 'ai_handle'fatal error: bsp_ai.h: No such file or directoryPlease help me out and guide me how to run this basic project on my board i found on the internet: https://github.com/stevemac321/5_Class_Embedded_Keras/tree/maini

Hi,I have a question regarding the backup SRAM in the STM32U5. The reference manual is not clear about this:On the one had, it mentions the following Which seems to indicate that it is possible to place the device in standby without powering SRAM2. HOWEVER, it also says this: This last line (The backup SRAM content is lost in Standby mode without SRAM2 retention. If either RRSB1 or RRSB2 bit is set in Standby mode, the backup SRAM is also retained.) seems to say that it is NOT possible, and one ALWAYS has to retain the 8kB to retain at least the 2kB. What's more, in the PWR_ModesSelection example, the example configurations only include the following 3 options: Which also seem to indicate that it is not possible to only retain the 2kB  So which is it: Is it possible to retain the backup SRAM (2kB) WITHOUT retaining the full 8kB (or the other page) of the SRAM2 bank or not? Thanks for your clarification!Arnout

Hi, we are currently using different types of the STM32H743 and I want to verify the package to make sure the software is running on the expected device. For this I am using LL_GetPackageType() and check the returned value against one of the LL_UTILS_PACKAGETYPE defines in stm32h7xx_ll_utils.h (line 202 and following). The UFBGA169 package is not listed here.  What is the correct value for it? The H743AII6 on my board reports 8. Please add this package in a next HAL release for H7 series.   Kinds regards, Martin

Hi,i just generated a project using the Device Configuration Tool (1.19.0). All works. But as soon as I enable "Generate peripheral initialisation as a pair of '.c/.h' files per peripheral" the hardware stands at:static HAL_StatusTypeDef USB_CoreReset(USB_OTG_GlobalTypeDef *USBx) { __IO uint32_t count = 0U; /* Wait for AHB master IDLE state. */ do { count++; if (count > HAL_USB_TIMEOUT) { return HAL_TIMEOUT; } } while ((USBx->GRSTCTL & USB_OTG_GRSTCTL_AHBIDL) == 0U); count = 10U; /* few cycles before setting core reset */ while (count > 0U) { count--; } /* Core Soft Reset */ USBx->GRSTCTL |= USB_OTG_GRSTCTL_CSRST; do { ////loops forever here?!?!?! count++; if (count > HAL_USB_TIMEOUT) { return HAL_TIMEOUT; } } while ((USBx->GRSTCTL & USB_OTG_GRSTCTL_CSRST) == USB_OTG_GRSTCTL_CSRST); return HAL_OK; } I had no closer look into what is done differently. Just wanted to report the issue. Again, if everything is inside of
