Running through the instructions to flash an eMMC chip via STM32CubeProgrammer. Board is custom based on STM32MP157F-DK2, boots great off a SD card (SDMMC1). I can communicate and load uboot via both USB and UART... uboot can get basic data off the eMMC with `mmc dev1; mmc info`    but uboot fails to enter DFU mode to continue the process, and running dfu complains about the lack of a USB device. I've tried all sorts of RAM, etc dfu examples. I have a 2-board communication project set up with 2 NUCLEO-H753ZI boards, where they communicate over UART. The sender side sends a 22-byte stream of data that is received by the receiver side and gets parsed into data. This data can then be streamed to a PC over Ethernet. Inside of the UART_RxCpltCallback, I toggle the Red on-board LED, which gives me the rate at which packets are coming in. Inside the UART_TxCpltCallback I am calling a function that takes the data from the UART buffer, and moves it into a member variable of an object. All this should happen at 2KHz, but for some reason the data is only updating every few seconds, and it is not a specific rate at which it updates, it seems random. The graph might better illustrate what I am talking about. The graph *should* look like a sawtooth waveform. The confusing part is that the LEDs work as expected, i.e. those blocks of code that are responsible for getting the data where it needs to be are surely executing, they ju

Hey everyone! In our app we use HAL_UARTEx_ReceiveToIdle_DMA() to capture serial data to a circular buffer (same as ST Sample 'UART_ReceptionToIdle_CircularDMA UART).   It works really well until someone plugs or unplugs cables generating noise on the UART.   In this case, we just poll HAL_UART_GetError(), reset the uart using HAL_UART_Init(), and finally call HAL_UARTEx_ReceiveToIdle_DMA() again to recover. The errors returned could be noise, parity, or framing errors (we've seen all 3).  The recovery works 95% of the time.  But, 5% of the time, after resetting the uart with HAL_UART_Init(), we will enter HAL_UARTEx_ReceiveToIdle_DMA() and it will permanently block/never return. We mitigated this condition by inserting a 50ms delay in between HAL_UART_Init() and HAL_UARTEx_ReceiveToIdle_DMA().    I don't feel super good about this and would rather be checking a flag but I have no idea what co

Hello,I'm working on implementing a wireless receiver charger design using your STWLC38JRM, and wondered if there were any tools or otherwise references to changing the supplied example BOM. In particular I'm looking to change the inductance of the coil as the 8uH specified has only one possible product currently available on Digikey and it is quite expensive per piece. Do you have any tools/references/simulations/etc. for tuning this LC circuit?

Hi Sir, The peak current of the B-G431B-ESC1 is 40A. Is it possible to modify the board to achieve a higher peak current? If yes, what modifications would be required? If not, could you explain the limitations?Thank you.

After migration to STMCubeIDE v1.19.0 and STMCubeMX v6.15.0 the working project based on STM32H7 Nucleo-144 Board (STM32H723ZGTx) shows red x for Pinout & Configuration caused by LWIP -> Key Options -> Network Interfaces Options with red x. This error blocks the code generation process.Any suggestions? Thanks.JYI

Hi,We are using the STM32WB5 series. We have implemented a FOTA mechanism to update the BLE Stack and the FUS (both separately). We have noticed a new version of the FUS (2.0.0), which, to our understanding, is not backward compatible with older versions of the BLE Stack. Is our understanding correct? If we just update the FUS to version 2.0.0 without updating the BLE Stack to the matching version, will the BLE stop working? Is there any way to get the BLE to work anyway after just a FUS update to version 2.0.0 with some minor modifications so that we can continue to the next step with our FOTA update and update then the Newer BLE Stack? Thanks,Eyal

Hello,I am running tha example code on RPi 5 on Ubuntu. Everything compiles fine but I get a Segmentation fault. I did configure the hwconfig.hI added some debug messages to the code:int main (void) { const ST25DV_PASSWD st25dv_i2c_password = {.MsbPasswd = 0, .LsbPasswd=0}; /* Init of the Type Tag 5 component (ST25DV-I2C) */ (BSP_NFCTAG_Init(0) != NFCTAG_OK); printf("ST25DV-I2C init done\r\n"); printf("DEBUG1\n"); /* Present configuration password */ BSP_NFCTAG_PresentI2CPassword(0, st25dv_i2c_password ); printf("DEBUG1.5\n"); /* Set GPO Configuration */ BSP_NFCTAG_ConfigIT(0,ST25DV_GPO_ENABLE_MASK | ST25DV_GPO_FIELDCHANGE_MASK ); printf("DEBUG2\n"); while(ST25DV_GPO_Init() != NFCTAG_OK); printf("GPO init done\r\n");This is where it crashes:./st25dv-i2c_gpo ST25DV-I2C init done DEBUG1 DEBUG1.5 Segmentation fault (core dumped) Any help will be appreciated.

I am trying to send data from STM32 to the FPGA by using FSMC. My goal is to send data as fast as possible so I set FMC clock to be maximum speed and set sram clock cycles to be as low as possibe. I use FPGA internal Logic Analyzer to capture data from FSMC and the result is shown as below. I found that the data was sent one by one instead of burst mode(send data continuously) and the speed was well below requirement... I want to know how to use burst mode in FSMC?(Since I am using an FPGA to receive data so any mode is ok(PSRAM, SRAM, SDRAM, nano flash, etc))

Post edited by ST moderator to be inline with the community rules especially for sharing a code. Please read this post. I’m working on playing audio on the TAS2110 codec using the STM32U5G9J-DK1 board via SAI. I tested with generated sine and square waves, and I can hear output on the speaker. However, when I try to play audio data stored in memory, I don’t get any sound. To store the audio file, I created a .s file as shown below: .section .wav_data, "a".global _wav_data_wav_data:.incbin "C:/Work/Project/Project/audio_codec/Core/Src/wav/audio.wav".global _wav_data_end_wav_data_end: I can parse the WAV data using my parser API. Parsing works fine, and I copy the samples into a buffer, then send it to SAI via DMA. Could you please help me identify what I might be missing? Why do I not get audio output from the speaker when streaming from the WAV file? My GPDMA and SAI configurations are set up accordingly. In the linker script .wav_data : { . = ALIGN(4); _swav_data_start = .

We will constantly monitor whether the parameters of the language change in a background container. If they do change, we will apply the new language. But for components that are not in this container on the same screen, how can we resize them most appropriately?

I’m currently developing a custom board based on an STM32U585.On the board, I have three SPI devices connected to the MCU, each managed by its own chip-select line:* MAX9939 → requires LSB first and can be controlled in transmit-only SPI mode.* LSM6DSL (IMU) → requires MSB first and full-duplex mode.* CAT25256 (EEPROM) → also requires MSB first and full-duplex mode.To handle these differences, I switch the SPI configuration dynamically at runtime. The function I use for reconfiguration is:int SPI_SetConfig(SPI_HandleTypeDef *hspi, struct _myspi_config_t *config) { printf(">>>>>>>>>>>>QUI\r\n"); // Skip re-initialization if configuration already matches if (hspi->Init.CLKPolarity == config->CPOL && hspi->Init.CLKPhase == config->CPHA && hspi->Init.FirstBit == config->order && hspi->Init.Direction == config->direction && hspi->Init.DataSize == config->datasize && hspi->Init.BaudR

So if you have a radio button with a callback function set via TouchGFX on click selected, the code generated in the BaseView has a typo in setActionIt uses the function SetAction (with capital S) which is wrongTO REPLICATE:Create a radio buttoncreate a Interactions "radio button is selected" that calls a virtual functiongenerate the codethe code generated:radioButton.SetAction(radioButtonSelectedCallback);instead ofradioButton.setAction(radioButtonSelectedCallback); On another note, no callback is called if the radio button is selected, even if seAction is manually fixed

Hi,I have a new design using the STM32H725IGT. The STM32H725IGT is a 176 pin QFP. The power rails have all checked out as good but I can't connect to it to program it. I have tried two ST-link V2's and two separate boards with no success. Both ST links updated their firmware successfully  and are seen by the CubeMX IDE. We are also using the Olimex adapter to enable a smaller connecter. This is the PCB layout of that:The on-board connector is the Samtec FTSH-105-01-F-DV-007-K, so an Olimex ARM-JTAG-20-10 is used to convert the large 20-pin ST-link connector down to 10 pin. As can be seen in the above image, SWCLK goes to pin 138 of the STM32H725IGTSWDIO goes to pin132 of the STM32H725IGTOn the FTSH-105-01-F-DV-007-K, pins 3 & 5 are GND, 1 is +3.3V, 2 is SWDIO, 4 is SWCLK. Pin 6 is connected as JTDO-SWO. Pins 6 and 8 are, I believe not used by the ST-link. Pin 10 connects to pin 33 of the STM32H725IGT, nRST. The nRST is labelled JnTRST for JTAG programmers, but it is

Hi everyone!I have just downloaded STSW-ST25002 source code and tried to build it in freshly installed Android Studio (Win11), but I got a couple of errors like "com.st.st25nfc.BuildConfig not found".Can someone give me exact steps to be able to build this application? The target goal is to remove all unnecessary parts except firmware update. Thanks!

Hi,I’m working with an STM32G070RBT6 MCU and trying to flash it over UART. The UART lines are directly connected to an FTDI adapter, which is connected to my PC via USB. Hello Team,Please provide the PFC and LLC design calculation sheet for the STDES-2KW5CH48V.

We are currently evaluating components for HDMI Interface, and HDMI2C1-14HDS looks suitable candidate for ESD protection for HDMI including protection for all signals.  The HDMI2C1-14HDS is obsoleted part so we need some drop-in replacement for this part. Thanks in advance!!!!

When I install and run CubeIDE 1.1.19, it is blocked by KITE Keeper security and cannot be executed. When I asked the server administrator, they said that orbitum.exe runs and prevents it from launching. Is orbitum.exe included in the IDE package?

For some reason, if you use a single radio button, and you want to de-select an already selected radio button, it won't work and the radio button keeps stay selected. The docs clearly states "Pushing the RadioButton  again will return the to original state.". That's not the case. (Also, the documentation is spelled wrongly; it should be will return to the original state)https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/api/classes/classtouchgfx_1_1_radio_buttonI have tried both withouth a Group and with a Group for the radio button. I have also tried with multiple radio button both in the same group or with no group. There's no why to deselect the radio button once selected.I'm using TouchGFX Designer 4.25TO REPRODUCECreate a ViewAdd the standard radio buttonSimulate itClick the radio button (it will be selected)Try to click it again (it won't de-select)

Hi,is there a way to distinguish both mentioned sensors other than by complex optical measurements (they have different FOVs)? We have built devices with both types of sensors and our firmware calculates x/y/z coordinates from the reported distances and so has to choose the correct pitch matrix.Thx Peter

Hi,I am working on a React Native project for an NFC app that needs to run on both iOS and Android. I am using the react-native-nfc-manager library to perform NFC operations. The NFC tag I am using is ST25DV, which supports NDEF and NfcV (ISO15693) technologies. Some basic functionalities the app would perform are reading and writing raw memory blocks to the memory.I noticed when I am using iOS device to perform read write operation, it can do so while keeping the tag intact with iOS device. I don't have to practically take the tag away from device and bring it near again to start the new nfc session. In case of Android, to perform the writing functionality, I have to first send the command from device by pressing button, then device will start looking for NFC tag. I bring the NFC tag near the device; it detects it and locks in the session and sends the command to the tag and closes the session. Thats how the code is written. Now if I want to read back from the tag, I press the read butto
