I am trying to start it up, send it a value, and then get its value to check and measure it using a voltmeter on PA5 of CN6 on the evaluation board.DAC1_Init :  static void MX_DAC1_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN DAC1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END DAC1_Init 0 */ DAC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0}; /* USER CODE BEGIN DAC1_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END DAC1_Init 1 */ /** DAC Initialization */ hdac1.Instance = DAC1; if (HAL_DAC_Init(&hdac1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } /** DAC channel OUT2 config

Hello,I am working with an STM32WBA65RI that is on our custom board, and working to reduce our power usage. Along this journey I found the issue with the HAL_PCD_MspInit() / DeInit() where the logic for the RCC PWR was inverted, which was another post I made.On our current hardware, I am noticing a large jump in current draw at the function call for __HAL_RCC_USB_OTG_HS_PHY_CLK_ENABLE() in HAL_PCD_MspInit().Just prior to the function call, the board is drawing 7.5mA, and immediately following the call it is drawing 33.09mA.I also tested this against the NUCLEO-WBA65 board, measuring across JP2, and see a jump from 3.05mA to 11.99mA, which seems more reasonable, albeit still quite large (according to DS14736, the max power draw from the OTG_HS PHY should be 5.7mA):For reference, our board has the following power setup:VBAT is 3.9 (for this test I am using a power supply). This feeds a PMIC (MAX77658). The PMIC takes the 3.9V in and creates a 3.3V using an internal switching regulat

Hey there,Is there an option to turn off the prompts after programming in the STM32CubeProgrammer?The Log output is enough for me:Not really a problem, more like a QoL thingy - but i didn't see an option anywhere.Would be a nice addition if it's currently not present. Like "only prompt on errors"

Dear ST Support Team,I would like to ask about the compatibility of using the X-NUCLEO-67W1M1 expansion board based on ST67W611M1 with the NUCLEO-F446RE development board.I had read the **X-CUBE-ST67W61 Data brief document on page 3**  "The X-CUBE-ST67W61 Expansion Package runs on STM32 32-bit microcontrollers based on• The Arm® Cortex®‑M33 and Cortex®‑M55 processors with Arm® TrustZone®• The Arm® Cortex®‑M7 processor"So, my questions are:1. Is the X-NUCLEO-67W61M1 hardware compatible with NUCLEO-F44 (Cortex M4 processor)? 2. Can I use raw SPI + AT commands without X-CUBE-ST67W61?, Has anyone done this on F44(Cortex M4 processor)? 3. Any known working example or GitHub project for (Cortex M4 processor)+ X-NUCLEO-67W61M1?

Hello all,I’m hitting a USB edge case on an STM32H573 in the 68-pin package (no VBUS sense pin, no VDDUSB domain).My setup (works fine in application):The product is self-powered (3V3 is always on). Because the package has no VBUS_SNS, I detect bus presence with a VBUS → resistor divider → buffer → GPIO (interrupt). My firmware only enables the USB device and D+ pull-up when this GPIO says VBUS is present, so we don’t “attach” or back-power a sleeping PC. That part is solid.The problem (ROM bootloader only):When I enter the System Memory bootloader and select USB DFU, the ROM seems to bring up the USB device and assert the D+ pull-up even if VBUS is absent (e.g., cable plugged into a powered-off PC or an unpowered hub). That effectively signals attach and can source current toward the host through D+/ESD paths—i.e., not USB-compliant for a self-powered device.Easy repro:H573 68-pin board, self-powered 3V3.Ensure no VBUS (PC off / hub unpowered).Boot to System Memory → USB DFU.D+ goes h

Hi All, I've been using the VL53L1 sensor for drone height control, and the results have been quite good- however, the environment it is used in has plastic skylights with poor IR blocking. This causes unstable readings in direct sunlight. Some of the IR is blocked, and as such this is tolerable but undesirable. Would changing to the VL53L4CX improve this? Ranging up to 3m is required. Will the L4CX broadly outperform the L1CD in most situations?   Thanks!

 Hello,Requesting marking ID confirmation "456RQ-K317" for St. Micro MPN: M24256-DRDW3TP/K.

Hi!It might be a *** beginners question but I'm quite lost...I'm trying to deploy my .ONNX model on my new NUCLEO-N657X0-Q board. The MCU on it STM32N657X0H3Q, seems to have 4Mb of RAM and no flash, but the board itself has 512Mb octaflash memory on it. My model is calculated as 2.71 MB of flash memory and 402 Kb of RAM. The ST edge developer tool claims that my board doesn't have enough resources and it won't create a suitable STM project for the IDE.My question is - is there a way to work with the board on AI models? is it a bug in the software or am I doing something wrong?Thank you!Amir

 Hello,I am using STM32CubeIDE with the STM32F429I-Discovery board,and my goal is to connect it with the MT9M001 camera module.As a first step toward that, I would like to make the LCD display work properly.In the STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.28.0 package,there are many sample projects organized as follows:  Projects > STM32F429I-Discovery > Examples > LTDC > LTDC_Display_2Layers If I import this Example project into STM32CubeIDE,will the LCD automatically display the sample image?Or do I need to perform some additional setup or configuration steps?I would appreciate any advice or guidance.

I want to develop a simple project in CubeIDE to send "Hello" or something similar from STM32F746G-Disco through a UART port with Realterm (or similar app) running on my laptop. I have a  USB-to-TTL adapter from Waveshare. Can someone help me?

When I use SPC5 Flash Programmer V2.8.1 to connect to the SPC56 CAN programmer, after configuring all the settings and clicking the connect button, the SPC5 Flash Programmer remains in a busy state and fails to establish a normal connection. Could you please tell me how to solve this problem?  Note: The operating system of my computer is Windows 10 64-bit. Besides, when I check the SPC5 Flash Programmer installation Details, it shows that the flash tool plug ins of STMicroelectronics are unsigned, Is this the reason why it cannot work properly?

Hi ST Community,    Our project uses STM32H743 (LQFP100). The system clock is set at the max 480MHz. The USB Device interrupts would occasionally cause a HardFault. For example, if we plug in or unplug the USB. The data hpcd would occasionally be 0xFFFFFFFF. Sometimes it's the hpcd->pClass[0] We have enough size for the stack and heap. A "workaround" is to lower the system clock to 240MHz...   What we don't understand is that the USB clock source is from the "RC48" 48MHz clock, independent from the system clock, which sources the HSE. How does lowering the system clock help resolve this issue? We also tried using HSE to generate the 48MHz for the USB, but the USB just doesn't run. Is there other settings or configurations that we might have set incorrectly?   Another thing to mention is that we have a conflict with the RCC CRS SYNC.                    Attached is our clock configuration and .ioc file for your ref

Hi all,I’m working with a new ST67W611M1A6BTR Wi-Fi module on a customized STM32H745 board.I followed the official X-NUCLEO-67W61M1 and NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q passthrough example, and I am able to communicate with the module (UART passthrough to PC works, and I can get to the command prompt on the NCP using the qcc74x shell).However, when I try to flash new NCP firmware using QConn_Flash, the process fails at the “handshake” stage. I'm wondering if I can use the same procedure for the standalone module? Any help is appreciated! Many thanks!My setup:Hardware: ST67W611M1A6BTR module on custom board, UART connected to STM32H745.UART passthrough: Confirmed working; I can get the NCP shell prompt (see below for log).Flashing method: Following the procedure in the ST documentation (same as for X-NUCLEO/NUCLEO board), trying to use QConn_Flash tool in standalone mode.Logs:Build:12:05:38,Oct 242024ersion of use omponents:Version: component_version_btblecontroller_1.6.50Version: coponent_version_

Hello, my project is using all 4 SPI interfaces on the STM32G474. SPI1-3 all work flawlessly, but SPI4 never triggers the RXNE flag. All SPI buses are configured identically, with the only differences being the pinouts and APB1 vs 2 bus. I am polling the transactions directly.Initialization:if (hspi_.Instance == SPI1) LL_APB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB2_GRP1_PERIPH_SPI1); else if (hspi_.Instance == SPI2) LL_APB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB1_GRP1_PERIPH_SPI2); else if (hspi_.Instance == SPI3) LL_APB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB1_GRP1_PERIPH_SPI3); else if (hspi_.Instance == SPI4) LL_APB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB2_GRP1_PERIPH_SPI4); LL_SPI_SetMode(hspi_.Instance, LL_SPI_MODE_MASTER); LL_SPI_SetTransferDirection(hspi_.Instance, LL_SPI_FULL_DUPLEX); LL_SPI_SetDataWidth(hspi_.Instance, LL_SPI_DATAWIDTH_8BIT); LL_SPI_SetClockPolarity(hspi_.Instance, LL_SPI_POLARITY_LOW); LL_SPI_SetClockPhase(hspi_.Instance, LL_SPI_PHASE_1EDGE); LL_SPI_SetBaudRatePrescaler(hspi_.Instance, LL_SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALE

Hello guys,Can anyone help me on how i need to set up a dma chain reaction so i can read from a timer ccr1, ccr2 registers and write their values to hrtim period and compare1 registers? The only thing I have found until now is how to set up the dma for the timers while being on PWM Input mode, burst read the cc1, cc2 registers and store their values to memory. I have read that I need to use then a DMAMUX request to generate an DMA request for the HRTIM to read the memory and then apply the changes to the peripheral, but I still don't understand how I should i configure the board. I'm using an STM32G474RET.Thanks for your time in advance.

Hi, I was trying to upgrade my ble wireless stack from CubeProgrammer but everything give me this error. I tried to install stm32wb5x_FUS_fw or stm32wb5x_FUS_fw_for_fus_0_5_3 to their correct addresses from release notes but nothing works. I am able to flash code from cube ide but these wont work. I can start FUS or take BOOT0 to 1 but these did not work too.  Only thing I have in my mind is maybe my cube programmer. Due to language settings my cube programmer installation step 8 is stuck(I read this error from the forum too) but I can access to cube programmer from program files and it can connect/read/flash so I dont think this is the problem too.  On the board RX/TX pins between st link and mcu are not connected but it should not be the problem as well because I am using st link and can flash anything from cube ide

I am currently working on a project that uses the STM32U575CGU3 microcontroller. The goal of the project is to display pressure and temperature values over CAN J1939 and CANopen communication protocols in a digital output format. For sensor data acquisition, I am using an external two-channel ADC to measure pressure and temperature values. Regarding the system clock, I have tested the application using both the internal clock source and an external crystal oscillator. The system performs well in both configurations. However, I would like to request your expert guidance on the recommended clock source for this application. Specifically: Is it advisable to use the external crystal for better timing accuracy and long-term stability? Or is the internal clock sufficiently reliable for CAN J1939 and CANopen communication in a production environment?

Hello,I want to interface two SAI of STM32L4S7VIT6 with two SGTL5000, which are working as transmitter and receiver at any time as used in telephone. Also interface one Si32287 through PCM. In datasheet SAI1_D1,D2, D3 are given but in reference manual it is not given. Also can we connect for one SGTL5000 with SAI1_FS_A, SAI1_MCLK_A,SAI1_SCK_A,SAI1_SD_A and SAI1_SD_B of same SAI1. And for other SGTL5000, can we connect SAI1_FS_B, SAI1_MCLK_B,SAI1_SCK_B of same SAI1 and for data SDI1_D1 and SDI1_D2. What are the functions of the lines SAI1_D1 and SAI1_D2?

We are using MCSDK 6.4.0 in Position Mode with a 3-Phase Motor with quadrature Encoder (only A+B phases, no Z Pin).How can the motor phases be swapped at runtime in Software (U,V,W -> V,U,W), e.g. when the motor is connector is wired in the opposite direction (but the motor encoder is wired correctly)?I know that i can set up the PWM Outputs in MC Workbench (as well as swap encoder pins), but i need a solution that can configure this at runtime without rebuilding the Project. I could not find a function for that (just feeding an inverted Position to MCI_ExecPositionCommand() does not take into account that the motor encoder is wired for an opposite direction as the motor phases).If this is currently not possible, can you add this feature in a future release?

In STM32CubeMX 6.15.0 / Win11 I generate a default CMake project for the Nucleo-G431KB board.The generated cmake/stm32cubemx/CMakeLists.txt contains:# STM32CubeMX generated symbols (macros) set(MX_Defines_Syms USE_NUCLEO_64 USE_HAL_DRIVER STM32G431xx $<$<CONFIG:Debug>:DEBUG> )but the board is a Nucleo-32, not 64. As a consequence, pinout is wrong, like a wrong pin for the USER_LED is assumed.hthKnarfB

Hi ST community// --- EDIT --- Missed preview and made some corrections / clarificationsI'm looking for a way to mount a SD card using the Azure RTOS UsbX MSC class, while the MCU is running. The code is mostly based on the ST examples, e.g.:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/x-cube-azrtos-h7/tree/main/Projects/STM32H735G-DK/Applications/USBX/Ux_Device_MSC The example expects that the SD card is already inserted on power up - therefore the MX_SDMMC1_SD_Init() is called before the USBX device is registered. Therefore the LBA and Blocksize values are already available when the USBX device is registered.I want to have a more general case, where I can remove and insert a SD card while the application is running. A separate thread (SD_thread_entry) which handles this behaviour and is waiting for the SD card pin to be detected. The card is then power reset, the HAL is initialized and the CardInfo read:void SD_thread_entry(ULONG thread_input) { // Thread variables ULONG flags; bool

Hi,is there a polling-only Linux C code example for the X-NUCLEO-NFC09A1? The demo app is IRQ based and we plan to use many readers so it would be convenient to save the IRQ pin and use only the CS pin per device.Regards.
