STM32F722STM32CubeF7 Firmware Package V1.11.0 / 23-February-2018.Hi,In a custom board I've the STM32F722 connected to a 8GB eMMC with a 24Mhz clock.I'm having issue reading (sigle or multiple block ) with the DMA using the HAL_MMC_ReadBlocks_DMA function. If I continue to read, no problem occurs but if I stop to access the card in read or write mode, after about 3 minutes the HAL_MMC_ERROR_DATA_TIMEOUT interrupt is called. The FIFOCNT stay to 128, not cleared. The timeout is the SDMMC_DATATIMEOUT because changing it the interrupt time change whit it.I've to clean something in the HAL_MMC_RxCpltCallback?Thanks Roberto.

Hello,As soon as I enable STemWin in CubeMX, I cannot select TrueStudio IDE (see attached screenshot). In the forum, I found other posts with the information that this should work.My CubeMX verion is 4.27.0 (downloaded installer yesterday and tried a new installation).I use a STM32F767ZIT. Any idea what could be wrong? Thanks for your support!Chris

As I understand it, NXP's NTAG family (NTAG 210u, NTAG 21x) are fully compliant NFC Forum Type 2 and ISO/IEC14443 Type A devices, and as such, they should work with the CR95HF. However, these tags have additional features, like an originality signature, that areoutside the scope of the standards. Are these additional features compatible as well, or are they only supported by NXP readers?

HELLO DaLao，May I ask you a question about how can I shoud use clrc663 to read 14443a tag (m24sr64) by a wireless way? Now,I can read and write MIFARE tag succesful, but can't do with 14443A tag? This do sucessful:status = phpalI14443p3a_ActivateCard(&I14443p3a, NULL, 0x00, bUid, &bLength, bSak, &bMoreCardsAvailable); This failed:PH_CHECK_SUCCESS_FCT(status, phKeyStore_SetKey(&Rc663keyStore, 0, 0,PH_KEYSTORE_KEY_TYPE_AES128, &Key[0], 0)); this function return 0x201.And I find that PH_KEYSTORE_KEY_TYPE_AES128 is not supported by this software lib, in that function the case of "PH_KEYSTORE_KEY_TYPE_AES128" is EMPTY!Finally, may I ask if the clrc663 can read/write with 14443a tag produced by other company? And, wether the software lib is complete to support to read/write with 14443a tag?Tanks a lot, have a nice day!

Hello,I have developed a cusom bootloader for STM32H743; the bootloader gets an image file from serial port, writes it in FLASH at address 0x08020000 and then jump to it.The function I have implemented for jumping is the usual one:void runApplication(uint32_t app_address)   {   McuDeInit();     HAL_SuspendTick();     /* Jump to user application */   JumpAddress = *(__IO uint32_t*)(app_address + 4);   JumpToApplication = (pFunction) JumpAddress;   /* Initialize user application's Stack Pointer */   __set_MSP(*(__IO uint32_t*) app_address);   JumpToApplication();   }First I do all uninitialization of peipherals and interrupts, then I set the SP and finally jump; app_address passed as parameter is equal to 0x08020000.Everything works perfectly if i compile and run the program in Debug mode, but i get an Hard Fault when I compile in Release Mode.I took a look at the disassemly which is obviously different:In Debug Mode:voi

While developing a driver for the ST25RU3993, I have encountered a problem where the MISO line appears to stop working. I had previously been able to read out the version ID register, oscillator status, etc. but now everything reads back as zero. There have been no hardware changes to the board, and this has happened on two separate (otherwise identical) boards.Even though MOSI is always zero, it appears that the ST25RU3993 is at least partially functional. The power consumption increases when I toggle the enable pin high, and it increases again when I command it (via SPI) to enable the RF field. The PLL is also running (I can see a 50kHz waveform on the loop filter pin).I believe that I first started having problems when trying to write the PLL Main registers. I found a bug here where PLL Main register 1 was being written incorrectly, and I know that getting PLL divisors wrong can cause problems e.g. in microcontrollers (basically overclocking the core which can cause damage) but sinc

Hello,I'm trying to get data from an external ADC (18bits) with an STM32l476RG nucleo board. There is a lot of overhead and I will improve it later but even the frequency clock is not fast enough. I don't understand why but the maximum clock frequency I get is 16Mhz (normally 40Mhz) and th signal is very durty. The systeme core clock is 80Mhz (trough the PLL and HSE) and the SPI prescaler is 2. I use cubeMx to configure the MCU:The system clock is configured like that:/** * @brief System Clock Configuration * @retval None */ void SystemClock_Config(void) {   RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct; RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInit;   /**Initializes the CPU, AHB and APB busses clocks */ RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSE; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSEState = RCC_HSE_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLState = RCC_PLL_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLSource = RCC_PLLSOURCE_HSE; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLM = 2; RCC_OscIn

I am using a STM32L4S9 microcontroller and used CubeMX (L4 V1.13.0 Firmware) to generate code for the USB to communicate with the device as a serial port. When sending an exact amount of bytes, 832 to be precise, the data is not send through to the PC. When using less, 831, or more, 833, the data is send immediately. It also gets send when i send another transaction over the USB. No data is lost when this happens, but when waiting for the data to appear in the terminal it can be very frustrating. I could not find any reference to this exact number of bytes. Perhaps this is an oversight on my part, but is there a reason why the data is not send through? Thanks in advance.Best regards,Danny

Hi,In my system I use STM32L476.In order to save power once every second, when heavy processing is done, I switch to PLL 80MHz, the rest of the time I use MSI clock at 32MHz.In order to have a stable SysTick I update the reload value of the SysTick according to the desired clock, but I need to change the value of the current SysTick counter value to the relative value after clock change. For some reason the SysTick counter value (SysTick->VAL) is always loaded with the reload value (minus 1 or 2). I can't seem to set the desired value to the counter. What am I missing? Here is my relevant code segment: static volatile float new_systick_val; enum SystemFaultsEnum status = eSYSTEM_OK; uint32_t systick_reload_val; /*   Here I change the clock to either 32MHz or 80MHz if the desired clock is 80MHz new_systick_val = SysTick->VAL * 319999.0f / (((float)SystemCoreClock/100.0f) - 1.0f); and if desired clock is 80MHz new_systick_val = SysTick->VAL * 799999.0f / (((float)SystemCor

Posted on October 05, 2017 at 15:31Hello there,I am using STM32L452VET. I have generated the startup code using latest STM32CubeMX 4.22.1. Here is my clock config:My problem is the following:If I turn switch the compiler optimization flag to either: -O1-O2-O3The generated clock config works and the program starts. If I turn the following flags: -O0-Os-OgThe generated program will not work. The problem is with the PLL config part. The program (when debugging) will stop at this line and not move further, the MCU has to be reset:MODIFY_REG(RCC->CFGR, RCC_CFGR_SW, RCC_ClkInitStruct->SYSCLKSource);The SYSCLKSource is 3, meaning it is trying to make the PLL the main clock source. This is called from the  HAL_RCC_ClockConfig function which is located in stm32l4xx_hal_rcc.c file. Here are the parameters:    /**Initializes the CPU, AHB and APB busses clocks     */  RCC_ClkInitStruct.ClockType = RCC_CLOCKTYPE_HCLK|RCC_CLOCKTYPE_SYSCLK  &nbs

Dear all,I just ordered the SPC58EC-DISP eval kit and thought it's time to start to setup my first program. I downloaded and installed the SPC5 studio and run immediately into the following problems:When I try to install the GNU CC compiler from the 'market place' I get the following error message:Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found. Software being installed: Gnu GCC feature 4.9.4.201809141314 (com.st.tools.spc5.tools.gnu.gcc.feature.feature.group 4.9.4.201809141314) Missing requirement: Gnu GCC feature 4.9.4.201809141314 (com.st.tools.spc5.tools.gnu.gcc.feature.feature.group 4.9.4.201809141314) requires 'com.st.tools.spc5.compiler 1.1.0' but it could not be foundAlthough I have some experience with Eclipsed based SDK's I cannot figure out how to solve thatThe version of SPC5 Studio that I downloaded and installed is 5.8. I found in a reason question here that there is a 5.8.1. available. However, if I select 'Check for Updates' I

Hello,When we use the APB1 clock 2MHz for peripherals I don't see any problem with communications between memory and MCU. However I would like to increase the APB1 clock to around 16MHz for my final application do the the fact that other devices needed it. However when I increase the APB1 clock rate to i.e 4MHz I already see data line corrupted on I2C bus. I am using 10k pull-up resistors to drive on SDA and SCL lines. I would like to ask you if you have faced with the similar problem and if yes do you have any suggestion to resolve it?Thank you in advanceJacek Pieczaba

I remember a couple of years ago, at least, that ST had documentation for HAL and LL drivers in the form of html pages like they do for the CMSIS documentation. They were great for quickly getting the info that I needed.Does anyone know if they are still available and where they reside on the site? Thanks

Hi guys,So I used an example of the HAL library to configure an input capture with a timer on a stm32f373vct6 microcontroller. Now I want to include this example in my project, but when I do so and try to build the compiler says :Error: L6218E: Undefined symbol HAL_TIM_IC_Init (referred from)I properly included the stm32f3xx_hal.h library and the stm32f3xx_hal_conf.h but still it does not work. From previous thread(https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009XkhxaSAB/error-l6218e-undefined-symbol-haladcinit-referred-from-maino) I saw that you need to define some params.I went into the stm32f3xx_hal_conf.h library, and removed the ifdef condition for the stm32f3xx_hal_tim.h library but still it does not work.Thank you for the help !

I'm currently writing a custom application using the STM32CubeExpansion_NFC4_V1.2.0 as inspiration. I'm trying to enable the mailbox operation however when I go to write the enable bit in the ST25DV_MB_MODE_REG I get a NACK and the bit is not set in the register. I'm using the Mailbox example from the above firmware expansion pack. I'm using X-NUCLEO-NFC04A1 and NULCEO-F746G development boards. All functions previous to writing in to the dynamic register work and are verified with reads. In the datasheet for the device it says a byte write maybe inhibited in the following conditions: • Byte is in user memory and is write protected with LOCK_CCFILE register. • Byte is in user memory and is write protected with I2CSS register, and I2C security session is closed. • Byte is in user memory and fast transfer mode is activated. • Byte is in system memory and is a Read Only register. • Byte is in system memory and I2C security session is closed.• Byte is in fast transfer mode’s mailbox and is n

Hello,I have just got a new board that I purchased using the STM32F030F4P6 MCU.This is a Mini Developing board that you can get from Ali Express and it is good as well IMHO.The Board that I have is:And I am bit struggling to make it to work under Arduino IDE or any other Software.I am NEW to STM32 boards and I am willing to learn as much as its needed in order to upgrade my IoT MCU to a better solution in my projects.I would be happy to know - How do I connect this board to the PC - using STLInk V2? to the Rx and Tx? I have tried connecting the power to the on board micro USB BUT no port was added.I would be happy if someone can help me start with STM32 and also assist me with this new board I got to make it work.Thank you.Arye

Hi,I'm using the STEVAL-3DP001V1 which has a SPWF01SA module on it. The default firmware of the module has some webpages already prepared for the 3D printing application. However I would like to customize these (or even make my own) webpages. In the manual of the evaluation board there is a mention of a gen.bat file which is nowhere to be found in the STSW-3DP001 (the embedded source for the board). So how can I customize or generate a webserver for the SPWF01SA module ?

Hello,I'm using the RTC Alarm to wakeup the MCU every 10min and after 10PM, sleep for 10 hrs. However, I noticed that the RTC just actually sleeps for 8:25 min and when it wakes up, the RTC time says 10minutes have passed. To illustrate:Current time is 12:00:00Alarm set to 12:10:00... Enter standby mode...<sleeps for 8 minutes and 25 seconds, checked using smartphone stopwatch>..Wake up and prints current time at 12:10 but in reality it's only 12:08:25. The RTC time is now off by 8:25 minutes like I said, and this will accumulate as I continue this loop.I'm using the HAL_Library and LSI at 40 KHz for the RTC clock. Is this a limitation of the hardware? 15% drift is significant. If not, anything that I might have missed in the configuration?I referred to the STM32F0 HAL examples and I'm not sure what I might have missed in the coding part./* Init */void librtc_Init(void){ /**Initialize RTC Only */ hrtc.Instance = RTC; hrtc.Init.HourFormat = RTC_HOURFORMAT_24; hrtc.I

Hi all,Using STM32L476.I had some issues with LSE (ready flag is never set), and so I experimented with different capacitors.During our experimentation I tried to intentionally cause the LSE to fail (never mind why) by touching its capacitors with my finger. Once the LSE failed it never recovers, even if I reset the system the LSE will keeps failing, until I remove the battery/power supply completely. That means that if there's a fault with the LSE, for any reason, the system cannot recover by turning the LSE drive off and on, not even system reset. Is that normal? Is there a solution?Removing the battery is not an option, the battery is not removable, and power off doesn't cut the power just puts the system in standby.EDIT:forgot to add my code, adding just the relevant parts -initialization: LL_RCC_LSE_Enable();   timeout = 0; while ((LL_RCC_LSE_IsReady() != 1) && (++timeout < eMCU_DELAY_2_5SEC)); if (timeout >= eMCU_DELAY_2_5SEC) { system_health_flags |= e_LSE

Hello all,for test purposes I want to realize a communication of small data amount with the ST25R3911B-Disco board.yet I already:installed the gui and updated firmwaretested nfcip with my smartphone (so the board is working)tried to use integrated script tool for sending (didn't work yet)Im not sure which standard is apropriate to realize the project and how to define it in the script tool. For testing I use an ST25TA64K Tag.Regards, Ben

Hi,I am trying to select an STM32 for a project but am struggling a little with the selection tables and thought I would check to see if there is an easier way before I spend hours on repetitive tasks. My fundamental requirements are: 2 x ADCs (independent ADCs, NOT channels on a single ADC), 12-bit is fine1 x DAC, 12-bit is fine1 USARTSmallest package possible that is not BGA.A low power device would be nice, but is not essential. The processing requirements are pretty small, so I am confident that any of your STM32 processors would do it.Is there a way of seeing ALL of the STM32 processors in a single table? Equally, is there a way of seeing how many ADCs a device has, without going into the individual product pages? The selection tables for each sub-category have number of ADC channels, but not the number of actual ADCs, which is quite frustrating!

Please provide example codes for NUCLEO-R4R5ZI development board without using STM32cubeMX
