Through the BLE, does the STM32WB to harvest it's own energy? or how to integrate an energy harvester base on the RF communication for this component?

Hi,I try to test the MotionAW algorithm, but the MCU gets stuck at MotionAW_Initialize()I use STM32L476QE, with IAR version 8.22 (DSP is enabled in the project settings as well as FPU).I added MotionAW200_CM4F_IAR8_ot.a and motion_aw.h to the project.I use LSM6DS3 but never got to the point where I get data from it, stuck on initialization.Any ideas?

Hi, i'm using NFC04A1 with NUCLEO-F401RE board, and im very new on this.Trying to send NDEF texts (88bytes) with <1sec period ,but i cannot make it short less than 1.2sec.Here's the while loop code with 1.2sec period.while (1) {  NFC04A1_LED_ON( BLUE_LED ); while( NDEF_WriteText(myMessage) != NDEF_OK ); NFC04A1_LED_OFF( BLUE_LED ); HAL_Delay(600); HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOA,GPIO_PIN_5); }I have tried many times with various HAL_Delay value and 600ms is the best for now. Can't it be shorter? Please give me some advices.Thanks.

Hi All,I use STM32f103C8T6 mcu to control a 5" TFT (480x272) display in direct mode.TIM1 PWM is the 9Mhz pixel clock,TIM2 is the column counter,TIM3 is the row counterand TIM2 channel 2 in compare mode, start SPI DMA transmit once in lineso, the SPI TX DMA not work after power up. (see my oscilloscope and dont show a picture) but, reset the mcu or reprogram its work perfectly.test hardware the "blue pill" :)i use my function libraryes.i uploaded my full project.Any Idea?

Hi,I'm having a hard time configuring the system clock. It seems that I'm achieving 16MHz, but I want to run at full speed (216MHz). From what I'm seeing, the problem is that the System Clock Switch isn't changing to PLL. If I try to change bits 1:0 in the RCC_CFGR register, the status returns that the HSI is enabled.RCC_BASE EQU 0x40023800 RCC_CR EQU RCC_BASE ;offset 0x00 RCC_CFGR EQU 0x40023808 ;offset 0x08 RCC_PLLCFGR EQU 0x40023804 ;offset 0x04 RCC_AHB1ENR EQU 0x40023830 ;offset 0x30 GPIOB_BASE EQU 0x40020400 GPIOB_MODER EQU GPIOB_BASE ;offset 0x00 GPIOB_ODR EQU 0x40020414 ;offset 0x14 GPIOB_EN EQU (1 << 1) MODER0_OUT EQU (1 << 0) PLLM EQU (4 << 0) PLLN EQU (216 << 6) PLLP EQU ((0 << 16) :OR: (0 << 17)) PLLQ EQU (9 << 24) PLLHSE EQU (1 << 22)   AREA STM32, CODE, READONLY ENTRY EXPORT __main __main BL ENABLE_CLOCK BL ENABLE_GPIOB B CONTINUE

Hey everyone,I've got an SPI line setup on my stm32f722ze.Cache is not enabled. It worked and I'm not sure whether the code was changed, but it receives junk now. The DMA is triggered which shows that when I send data, it is receiving it, but not the correct data.I Have verified the data that's being sent via an oscilloscope. The stm's spi line is coupled to a esp32. The esp32 is the master and the stm is running as slaveHere's the relevant code for the stm32:Hal_msp.c:void HAL_SPI_MspInit(SPI_HandleTypeDef* hspi) {   GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct; if(hspi->Instance==SPI1) { /* USER CODE BEGIN SPI1_MspInit 0 */   /* USER CODE END SPI1_MspInit 0 */ /* Peripheral clock enable */ __HAL_RCC_SPI1_CLK_ENABLE();   /**SPI1 GPIO Configuration PA4 ------> SPI1_NSS PA5 ------> SPI1_SCK PA6 ------> SPI1_MISO PA7 ------> SPI1_MOSI */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_4|GPIO_PIN_5|GPIO_PIN_6|GPIO_PIN_7; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_AF_PP; GPIO_InitStr

Posted on June 01, 2017 at 17:34Hello, I have some problems to implement a bootloader in a STM32F4. I searched on internet and I found coherent informations and examples, but I 'm not able to make simple test work. Here my simple code:bootloader (writed on 0x08000000 address):&sharpdefine APPLICATION_ADDRESS        0x08008000typedef void (*pFunction)(void);pFunction appEntry;uint32_t appStack, test, i;int main(void){    /* Get the application stack pointer (First entry in the application vector table) */    appStack = (uint32_t) *((__IO uint32_t*)APPLICATION_ADDRESS);    /* Get the application entry point (Second entry in the application vector table) */    appEntry = (pFunction) *(__IO uint32_t*) (APPLICATION_ADDRESS + 4);    /* Reconfigure vector table offset register to match the application location */    SCB->VTOR = APPLICATION_ADDRESS;   &n

I need to do conversion between CHS addressing to LBA using the following formula:LBA = (( C x HPC ) + H ) x SPT + S - 1where,C, H and S are the cylinder number, head number, and the sector numberLBA is the logical block addressHPC is the number of heads per cylinderSPT is the number of sectors per trackbut I just don't know where and how to get those from a uSD card? Is there any way to get them using the MMC/SDIO HAL library or FATFS?

Hi,I'd like to reproduce the STEVAL-SMARTAG but I can't find the Altium project on the website. I have found the Altium files for the reader board (https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/evaluation-tools/product-evaluation-tools/st25-nfc-rfid-eval-tools/st25-nfc-rfid-eval-boards/st25r3911b-disco.html) and it would help to have the same for the tag.Thanks.

I'm using a ST25R3911B-DISCO for a project and I need to use the UART interface, instead of the USB one and the software provided by ST, to send commands (like INVENTORY, READ BLOCK, WRITE BLOCK) and receive the corresponding information. Is it possible with this board? And if it is, how can I proceed to implement it?Thanks in advance,Eduardo

Hi. Believe to have found a typo inside the STM32F429 datasheet (document DocID024030 Rev 10). Studying the use of the STM32F429NI DISC1 Kit and the use of the onboard TFT display. The source code is noting that the CPU is configured into AF14 (alternate function 14) which sounds correct. Yet the RGB pins are not correctly mapped under AF14 inside the datasheet. Specifically, Table 12 is showing that:PB0 = LCD_R3 (if using AF9) but should be PB0 = LCD_R3 (if using AF14)PB1 = LCD_R6 (if using AF9) but should be PB1 = LCD_R6 (if using AF14)The IAR source code mapping looks to be correct as it is working:and same typo in the STM32F750x8 datasheet? Please correct if my error.Thanks.

we are using nucleo STM32F429ZI (Cortex M4 uC ) running with the following configurations.Compiler : Keil, TruestudioFreq : 168MHzFPU : Single HardwareOptimization: O3 in keil, Os in truestudioWe have tested the user generated program 4096 point FFT. To complete the single time execution of the function take 110ms (FFT function is normally look like a c code, no pheriperals used, and even not initialized. GPIO only initialized for verifying the time of execution). But we had checked with Renasas (Cortex M4 uC ) and same software routine. We have used E2 STUDIO compiler to compile the code. when i execute the same code it takes around 320us . we compiled the project in E2STUDIO with the following configutation.Compiler : E2_Studiofreq : 240MHzFPU : Single HardwareWhat should i do to accomplish in the st32M429 to work same as Renasas controller speed (Approx 320us + 10%).I have attached my code for your reference. Thanks in advance.

We're looking at using the F413 for a slave in a many MCU product, and using its SPI bootloader so master can reprogram an array of slaves over SPI. I'm confused about the bootloader and flash programming, in particular:(1) Is high voltage VPP and high current on BOOT0 pin required for any flash programming? Or only advantageous in some circumstance? Or can I just use 3.3v?(2) datasheet says "parts are delivered with flash erased". So where is the bootloader? Do I need to avoid erasing the entire flash to preserve the bootloader? Or is it in ROM somewhere and mapped in only when BOOT0=1? Or is that Boot1=VPP? Thanks in advance for any clarification!Best Regards, Dave

Hi, i'm using SPI to communicate two STM32F446REUnfortunately, I get different value after the reset button pressed. Due to some other reasons, these two 446RE use LL and opencm3, but I don't think it is an issue. The code for master in one of the 446RE (LL): LL_SPI_InitTypeDef SPI_InitStruct; LL_GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct;   LL_APB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB1_GRP1_PERIPH_SPI3); LL_AHB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB1_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOB);   GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = SPI3_SCK_PIN | SPI3_MISO_PIN | SPI3_MOSI_PIN; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = LL_GPIO_MODE_ALTERNATE; GPIO_InitStruct.Speed = LL_GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_VERY_HIGH; GPIO_InitStruct.OutputType = LL_GPIO_OUTPUT_PUSHPULL; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = LL_GPIO_PULL_NO; GPIO_InitStruct.Alternate = LL_GPIO_AF_6; LL_GPIO_Init(SPI3_PORT, &GPIO_InitStruct);   SPI_InitStruct.BaudRate = LL_SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_DIV8; SPI_InitStruct.ClockPolarity = LL_SPI_POLARITY_HIGH; SPI_InitStruct.ClockPhase = LL_SPI_PHASE_2EDGE; SPI_InitStruct

Dear Community,is it possible to download older versions of STM32CubeMX (4.X)? Unfortunately there are no links to archive downloads on the ST website. Thank you very much.Best regards,Emin Yagmahan

Hi,I want to edit the given firmware on the ST25DV Discovery-Board. For that I have downloaded the KEIL MDK µVision 5 and was able to open the given project. But it's not able to compile because the file is too big. Can I use another Linker?

Hi everybody I am using st25r3911 in my own pcb and I still have a problem in the first step :rfalInitialize() does not return ERR_NONEin fact I see the MOSI and CLK and CS signal but there is not anything in MISO !!pin28 in st25r3911b (mcu_clk) is ok so i think the chip is working .

Hello, I am trying to use "STM32CubeExpansion_Crypto_V3.1.0" library for generating HMAC_SHA1 on STM32L431 processor. We are using FreeRTOS.Issue description: When we make a function call to the HMAC_SHA1 functions contained in the above library, it returns successfully with the HASH, but the code hangs immediately after that. Sometimes it gives "Hard Fault" and hangs and at other times it just hangs without giving any error message.Interesting thing to note is that, when we call the same functions from outside of any Task (from timer interrupt for example) it works just fine. But when we call these set of functions from within a task (say application task) the code hangs after executing the HMAC_SHA1 functions.Could anyone please point out what could be going wrong? Thanks.A few points to note:I am using the __CRC_CLK that is needed for running the crypto library.Have tried using critical sections - enable critical section before the HASH function calls and disable after returning fr

Hello,I need to use the example which boots (jumps) into application in external memory, but with a very slight modification:So that the start address of application can be somewhere inside the flash, not particulary at the start of flash, as it is not in example:(1) User application location address is defined in the memory.h file as:   -QSPI:  #define APPLICATION_ADDRESS      ((uint32_t)0x90000000)   -NOR :  #define APPLICATION_ADDRESS      ((uint32_t)0x60000000)   -SDRAM:  #define APPLICATION_ADDRESS      ((uint32_t)0xD0000000)   -SRAM:  #[define APPLICATION_ADDRESS      ((uint32_t)0x68000000)] Is that possible ?I mean, can I use different address, for example for NOR 0x6100000 instead of 0x60000000 ?My final goal is actually to have 2 different application in

HiI just started porting a project over to STM32. It does some complex stuff with timers. First I found out the the HAL doesn't support my usage of one pulse mode in timers. So I went for the LL API which I liked on first sight. Now I found out that the LL API only implements 4 of 6 capture compare channels of the advanced timer 1 of STM32F3xx.I need at least 5 CC channels. What can I do to get the rest of the CC channels?I started adding the missing functions and constants but I suppose I won't get it to run because I also need the corresponding interrupts and other functionality so I will probalby hit something not implemented in C.Best RegardsMichael Bürschgens
