Hello All,I have some CR95HF Antenna Design Queries1) what is actual difference between in performance of 424nH antenna and 1120nH antenna used in  M24L-DISCOVERY kit and NUCLEO-NFC03A1 respectively?2) In CR95HF-A demo Board Antenna impedance design guidelines document,  mentioned formula to calculate antenna inductance using frequency 13.56MHZthey have given Ra=0.5 Ohm and La=36.6 * w where w= 2 * pi * f so w= 2 * pi * 13.56 = 85.2  so as per calculation La= 36.6 * 85.2 = 3118.3 but they have give La= 430nH can you explain this ?3) In CR95HF chip datasheet I have read that ZOUT differential impedance between TX1 and TX2(1) 27 Ω and Small signal differential input resistance (Rx1/Rx2) 100 kΩ , what this actual means?Is this parameters taken in consideration without onboard mounting or with components?because PCB manufacturer considered it without mounting components.from above parameters TX1 and TX2 and (Rx1/Rx2) I have checked all matching circuit component in M24

Hello community,I created a Makefile with CubeMX and the X-CUBE-AI software. When I try to compile the project with arm-none-eabi-gcc the linker cannot find network_runtime.a./usr/lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/5.4.1/../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld: cannot find -lnetwork_runtime.a collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit statusThe file network_runtime.a is in the folder Middlewares\ST\AI\AI\lib and the option -L/mnt/DiscoveryBoard/Middlewares/ST/AI/AI/lib/ (absolute path.., I also tried others...) is defined.Maybe somebody knows what I'm missing.Thank you very much.Oliver

Hi,I would like to know the maximum velocity that the TESEO LIV3F chip can still having a stable update rate. I'm currently doing localization using TESEO LIV3F, and it update the position very slow under 3m/s. Perhaps that's because there are some trees and buildings when I'm moving around , but even if I'm at open space (at least 20m away from the building), I am still not getting the position updated. Therefore, I would like to know the maximum velocity that can guarantee TESEO LIV3F to continuously update its position.Thanks

We have to qualify the STPS61L60CW as a 2nd source, but unfortunately in the datasheet we do not find any Information about repetitive surge current.Your diode is used in the freewheeling path of a trigger circuit for a power semiconductor. The trigger current is totally 200A, per diode (two per TO-247 case) we have a peak of around 100 A. However, the pulse duration is only a few microseconds and will be repeated with a maximum of 1 kHz. This is how the waveform looks like:We tested our system with your diode in our lab without problems. But just to be sure, do you confirm from your side that we do not take any thermal risks with these high current pulses? NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. We regularly review support cases and add any helpful ones here for all to benefit from.

I want the STM32F769NI to generate an interrupt when a pause after a received byte on USART6 was detected. I am using CubeMX and configured USART6 for Asynchronous mode with 9600 baud and to enable global USART6 interrupts and use the low level drivers for USART6. In the source files I enabled the RXNE interrupt with LL_USART_EnableIT_RXNE(USART6). So far this is working, on Interrupt I can read the correct byte from USART_RDR of USART6.I want to get an Interrupt when a pause of 100 ms is detected after a byte was received. So I configured:LL_USART_SetRxTimeout(USART6, 960); LL_USART_ClearFlag_RTO(USART6); LL_USART_EnableIT_RTO(USART6);And tried to light a LED on the discovery board in the interrupt handler:void USART6_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN USART6_IRQn 0 */   // Byte received: if (LL_USART_IsActiveFlag_RXNE(USART6)) { serialHandleRXByte(LL_USART_ReceiveData8(USART6)); }   // RX inter-bxte timeout: else if (LL_USART_IsActiveFlag_RTO(USART6)) { LL_USAR

Hello,In STM32Cube_FW_F7 for STM32F769I_EVAL Board, in sample for IAP_Main, in this directory:"STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.X.X\Projects\STM32F769I_EVAL\Applications\IAP\IAP_Main\Inc\flash_if.h"in line 94 i saw the address of Sector 11 is wrong. It is Currently:#define ADDR_FLASH_SECTOR_11   ((uint32_t)0x08C00000)but the currect value shuold be:#define ADDR_FLASH_SECTOR_11   ((uint32_t)0x081C0000)

Hi All,I'd like to use ST25DV NFC chipset on my STM32F103x project.I have found there was X-NUCLEO-NFC04A1 evaluation kit of ST25DV supporting CubeMX.I'd like to include the firmware package of NFC04A1 on my CubeMX project to use its API.How can I do that ? Is there any menu on CubeMX ? or package should be added by manual ?please let me know how to.Best Regards,Hae Ryong

Hello,I'm using STM32F030 series controller. currently we use JTAG connector to load a program into flash memory, using ST-LINK debugger externally.Now i want to load a program into flash memory using Micro-B USB in my device without using any external debugger.Please suggest suitable circuit and possible solution.Thank you

I'm building a CAN app with STM32CUBEMX and TrueStudio. I'm using interrupts so need to register my calback funcs. I put #define USE_HAL_CAN_REGISTER_CALLBACKS 1 at the top of main.h. The following line in my code:HAL_CAN_RegisterCallback(&hcan1, HAL_CAN_RX_FIFO0_MSG_PENDING_CB_ID, HAL_CAN_RxFIFO0MsgPendingCallback );is producing the error "HAL_CAN_RX_FIFO0_MSG_PENDING_CB_ID undeclared". But it is a value of the enum type HAL_CAN_CallbackIDTypeDef which is declared in stm32f4xx_hal_can.h which is included in main.h. I'm stumped.

I'm taking STM32Cube and the CRYP example for NUCLEO-L496ZG as the basis for a new HW AES encryption Arduino library. I'm currently developing for the STM32L476 MCU and here I found the first problem since stm32l476xx.h does not seem to include the necessary AES register definitions. Anyway, I took these definitions from stm32l486xx.h which does include them.Finally, I was able to compile this example (taken from the STM32Cube distribution) from the Arduino IDE: CRYP_HandleTypeDef CrypHandle; /*##- Configure the CRYP peripheral ######################################*/ /* Set the common CRYP parameters */ CrypHandle.Instance = AES;   /******************************************************************************/ /* AES mode CTR */ /******************************************************************************/   /*===================================================== Encryption CTR mode ======================================================*/ if (HAL_CRYP_DeInit(&

Does the STM32F7 supports the USART multi drop mode ?

The code is identical to the Disable version. The enable swapping is currently this:void HAL_SYSCFG_EnableMemorySwappingBank(void){ *(__IO uint32_t *)FB_MODE_BB = 0x00000000UL;} and instead of = 0, it should be the equivalent of 0x100.Also, the lower 3-bits should be maintained since they are MEM_MODE bits. As it turns out, %000 is Main Flash memory, which is probably good for most, but it's still a bad implementation.

STM32CubeMX 4.27.0L4 HAL 1.10.0 / 1.13.0STM32L431RBWe use STM32CubeMX to generate the basic code. We use the RTC Wakeup to generate a cyclic Interrupt. With the L4 HAL (1.10.0) the function was correct.When we migrated the project to L4 HAL (1.13.0) the IRQ handler did not get activated anymore.We traced this to a bug in the file "stm32l4xx_hal_rtc_ex.c".In the function "HAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer_IT" the interrupts are activated with the following code:#if defined(STM32L412xx) || defined(STM32L422xx) /* In case of WUT autoclr, the IRQ handler should not be called */ if (WakeUpAutoClr != 0u) {   /* RTC WakeUpTimer EXTI Configuration: Event configuration */   __HAL_RTC_WAKEUPTIMER_EXTI_ENABLE_EVENT(); } else {   /* RTC WakeUpTimer EXTI Configuration: Interrupt configuration */   __HAL_RTC_WAKEUPTIMER_EXTI_ENABLE_IT(); }#else /* defined(STM32L412xx) || defined(STM32L422xx) */   __H

This is the signature of the function: HAL_StatusTypeDef HAL_UART_Transmit(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart, uint8_t *pData, uint16_t Size, uint32_t Timeout)where pData is the pointer to the data to be transmitted and Size the amount of data to be sent. In case of wordlength = 9bits and NO parity:huart->TxXferSize = Size; huart->TxXferCount = Size; while(huart->TxXferCount > 0U) { huart->TxXferCount--; if(UART_WaitOnFlagUntilTimeout(huart, UART_FLAG_TXE, RESET, tickstart, Timeout) != HAL_OK) { return HAL_TIMEOUT; } if ((huart->Init.WordLength == UART_WORDLENGTH_9B) && (huart->Init.Parity == UART_PARITY_NONE)) { tmp = (uint16_t*) pData; huart->Instance->TDR = (*tmp & (uint16_t)0x01FFU); pData += 2U; } else { huart->Instance->TDR = (*pData++ & (uint8_t)0xFFU); } }pData is incremented by 2 until it reaches 2 times the size of the array.. and BOOM!Same problem with HAL_IRDA_Transmit(). With the receive the array has to be big enoug

Hello I am gonna use ST25R3916 for NFC in our products, but I am wondering that if the ST25R3916 is compatible with NXP's tag/reader? I remember that NXP's tag/reader has it's own encryption for communication... so I worry that ST25R3916 can't communicate with NXP's tag/reader..... thanks;

Are there any resources that show how to configure the communication peripherals ( USB,. USART) when using the STM32MP1 based parts. I tried to configure a USART and USB peripheral, but STMCube generates a dialog that indicates that this peripheral must be configured by hand. I checked in the examples under STM32CubeMP1 repo and in the UART exampless, it looks like the UART pins are not configured ( looks like MX_GPIO_Init just enables the clocks ). I would like to use the USART and USB peripherals from the M4 side on this processor

Hi,I have a problem when develop with LSM6DS3.After config the active/inactive event to INT1, keep still, the interrupt(inactive event) will happen ,if i do not read 6-axis sensor data.When i read the 6-axis sensor data every 100ms by a timer callback, also keep still, the interrupt never happen.I want to know the reason that interrupt do not happen, if i miss anything in datasheet ?

Hi, everybody. My task is to connect STM32F4 discovery Board with Smart Card ISO7816. I don't use interface ST8024CDR only hooked paid directly by the scheme specified in the image:I tried to adapt the Cubex project to STM32F1xx-EVAL. ATR reception does not work. The oscilloscope shows that the I/O port from the map is something similar to a sawtooth signal, but more flat (on three different maps it is different). So I guess it's still an ATR.The configuration of the UART and frequency:void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0};   /** Configure the main internal regulator output voltage */ __HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_PWR_VOLTAGESCALING_CONFIG(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE1); /** Initializes the CPU, AHB and APB busses clocks */ RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSI; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSIState = RCC_HSI_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSICalibrationValue = RCC_HSICALIBRATION_DEFAU

Hello GuysI am asking you kindly your help.I am trying to read register data from the LSM6DS3 IMU sensor from STM using SPI. I succeeded reading the value 0x69 from register WHO_AM_I using Arduino.Now I am stuck when trying to do it with STM32 micro-controller.Reading data sheet I concluded the following specs: Max SCLK 10MHz, 8 bits word, MSB first, CPOL high, CPAHSE 2 Edge (sampling on trailing edge).I think I am setting the stm32 micro-controller like so but I am not able to read any data from register WHO_AM_I .The following code is the reading process, followed by the SPI init routine.the problem is when I track the evolution of MOSI line and SCLK  by doing a transmit then receive, I am getting the reading in picture 1 using oscilloscope, it look different than when I use the "HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive" as shown in picture 2.    in the case of  transmit then receive I can read 0x8F on oscilloscope but also an other byte 0x00 which I dont know where it i
