Hi to everybody, I am a total mcu beginner and I cannot compile a project. I did not write a single line of code, just tried to build. When I tried to do it I had 12 identical errors. What can I do? I have a STM32 F446RE Nucleo 64 board, Cube MX 5.1.0 and OpenSTM32 System Workbench 2.9.

I use STM32F102 and TIM2 timer in PWM1 mode to generate defined frequency and duty cyclesquare wave. I have some questions and I hope can get some help from experienced colleagues.1. I update the ARR/CCR1 register in an interrput which is defined by the communicationcycle and independent form timer frequency , which means I write the ARR/CCR1 asynchronuslyform Timer Update Event. I was afraid that the update event happens between the writing ofACC and CCR1 and the content of two registers became inconsistent. But if I disable theupdate event I got a missing pulse. How can I use the Timer to have always consistent ARR/CCR1 pairs and no missing pulses?       TIM2->EGR &= ~TIM_EGR_UG;      /* ... */      TIM2->ARR = periodCh1; // If the UpdateEvent happens here the pulse is missing!       TIM2->CCR1 = pulseCh1;      /*

Hello!I am using a board equipped with STM32F205 VCT7.https://www.hibot.co.jp/ecommerce/prod-detail/16During "Connect" with STM32CubeProgrammer, I accidentally dropped the main power of the board.Since then, such a screen came out when "Connect" was made.I had a problem like this before, I sent the board to the company that made this board and inquired. The company replied that "RDP was at Level 1, so I changed it to Level 0 with ST-LINK / V2 Utility."I think this problem can be solved by changing RDP, and when I try to change RDP from "Option Byte", such a screen appears. Why is RDP not changeable even though "Connect" is done?Help me.

Hi,The demo I use is SPC560BCxx_RLA CAN Test ApplicaiontDebug LOOP Mode is OK.In Normal Mode, when I use can_lld_transmit to send CAN messages, the status returned is always CAN_MSG_WAIT. Can you help me analyze this problem?A preliminary confirmation is that can_lld_is_tx_empty returns FALSE causing the whole problem. The configuration inside Demo is just to remove the FlexCAN Enable LoopBack.Below is SFR:

I have 2 Nucleo-144 with STM32H743ZIT. I've been using one to do development, but something I did seems to have corrupted something. My OS is windows 7 professional. When I plug the USB in the virtual com port does not appear. However, I know the driver is installed because the VCP does appear when I plug in the one I've never used. This tells me two things, the USB cable is working and the driver is installed.I connected the "bad" board and tried to update it's firmware with STM32CubeProgrammer, but the ST-LINK doesn't show up in the list. The "good" board will connect when I click the Connect button and when disconnect, if I start the update firmware process, ST-LINK shows up in the list as it should.A few days ago, I was working with a USB memory stick and wanted to eject it, but I ejected STM32-STlink and it seems thereafter, I can't get the "bad" board to connect. It had been working flawlessly until I did that. When I plug in the "good" board, the STM32-STlink device shows up. When

Hi all, I am trying to use internal temperature sensor on Nucleo L011K4 and using macro from LL library (__LL_ADC_CALC_TEMPERATURE_TYP_PARAMS) I get complete garbage. STM32Cube_FW_L0_V1.11.2STM32CubeMx 5.0.1LL libraries used, no HALADC is running in DMA mode with HW oversampling by 8, 12.5 clock S&H time (should be enough for TEMP sensor) and each ADC EOS this value again averaged in SW.When I looked closely to datasheet and reference manual I wrote my code without this macro and I still getting nonsense data out of it. I found that TS_CAL2 value from Factory Option bytes is far different than expected value, so when I used 670 constant instead - and I got something real temperature finally.Question 1: why at production calibration value is like 1.5 times bigger than supposed to be?Question 2: Is there a bug in LL macro? It looks like there one unnecessary multiply by 1000Question 3: Do I need to recalibrate temp sensor at 130C or can use different temperature?Question 4: Can I sto

Dear community,Is it possible to use CLUTs in Chrome-ART of STM32H7 for L8 to L8 color conversion specifically gamma conversion?Thank you very much,Alex

Hi,I have a STM32F769I-EVAL sitting on my desk ready to be loaded with it's first QSPI Flash XIP application. However, after I fire up the programmer and go to select the external loader I find there isn't one. There is one for the FMC NOR Flash, but none for the QSPI Flash. The equivalent Discovery board has an external loader for their QSPI Flash. Unfortunately that external loader isn't compatible with the EVAL board (QSPI are on different pins).I'm not really interested in building my own or extending other programmers. I just want something off the shelf that works. Can someone tell me I haven't wasted my money on these boards?Cheers,David

I want write only some bytes but before that I have to erase a full sector. If I don´t want to loss data from that sector I will need save them.If sector size is 128Kb, how can I save all data? Thank you !

Hi there,I imported a Attolic studio project to the STM32CubeIDEand everything works execpt printf... I'm trying to get the sprintf running in the new STM32CubeIDE and there are already several fixes available:_estack = 0x2001ffff fix here: https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000AldaPzSQI/cubeide-sprintf-does-not-work-with-flinking issues: https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000AnrcyjSQA/how-to-use-float-in-printfUnfortunately, none of these fixes work for me... In my linker file there is the following line: _estack = 0x20020000;  /* end of 128K RAM */, which should be fine.My linker settings:gcc -mcpu=cortex-m4 -T"../stm32f4_flash.ld" --specs=nosys.specs -Wl,-Map="${ProjName}.map" -Wl,--gc-sections -static --specs=nano.specs -mfpu=fpv4-sp-d16 -mfloat-abi=hard -mthumb -u _printf_float -u _scanf_float -Wl,--start-group -lc -lm -Wl,--end-groupAs you can see, -u printf_float is added and in the map file ../arm-none-eabi/lib/thumb/v7e-m/fpv4-sp/hard\libc_nano.a(lib_a-

Hello,I buy these two produce. I try to use the smart tag to detect the temperature, then transmit it through 3911B to show on the computer. Besides, where can I download the example or the program for the 3911B. best regards.Hong.

Posted on January 07, 2018 at 03:35 Hi I have my custom RF board using S2-LP and balunBALF-SPI2-01D3 ( /external-link.jspa?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.st.com%2Fcontent%2Fccc%2Fresource%2Ftechnical%2Fdocument%2Fdatasheet%2Fgroup3%2Fe9%2Fff%2Fcd%2F1e%2F4f%2Fdd%2F49%2Fb4%2FDM00417488%2Ffiles%2FDM004174pdf%2Fjcr%3Acontent%2Ftranslations%2Fen.DM004174pdf) and my custom board follows the evaluation design given in the balun data sheet. I am having problem with it: The host controller communicates fine with S2-LP over SPI (I can see the expected signals on oscilloscope for SCL, SDI, SDI and CS). Also SMPS 1 and 2 (pins 2 and 3 of S2-LP) show expected waveforms. But there is not signal on TX pin. Can anyone help me please? Thanks Silas Valera #868-mhz #custom-board #s2-lp #balf-spi2-01d3 Note: this post was migrated and contained many threaded conversations, some content may be missing.

I create this project in Keil using cubemx. Keil-Mdk V-5 and STM32Cubemx

I am using STM32CubeMX ver 5.1.0 for stm32L433, In my old projects, i use STM32Cube_FW_L4_V1.10.0 with CubeMX ver 4.Now i'm facing with two problems,First, is it possible to use STM32Cube_FW_L4_V1.10.0 with CubeMX ver 5 (I don't know how to change firmware package in CubeMx). Because it is difficult to change every previous projects i had made.Seconds, I cannot find STM32Cube_FW_L4_V1.13.0. Can you help me with that.

Hello Everybody, I've a big problem to debug my EVAL-ST95HF board, i tried two ways to fix that:the first one: i unzipped the source folder getting EVAL-ST95HF_FW_V3.7.0 that i used with keil uvision5, when i build i get this error message and i've seen this file doesn't exist within the indicated directory and tried to install a previous version e.g keil uvision4.74 i've no managed to open project with the last one Rebuild started: Project: DEMO_BOARD_ST95HF*** Using Compiler 'V5.06 update 6 (build 750)', folder: 'C:\Keil_v5\ARM\ARMCC\Bin'Rebuild target 'DEMO_BOARD_ST95HF'compiling Firmware_Saving.c...compiling menu_writer.c...compiling menu_Tagemul.c...compiling menu_cardemul.c...compiling menu_reader.c...compiling main.c...compiling common.c...compiling hw_config.c...compiling menu_auto.c...compiling menu.c...compiling stm32f10x_it.c...compiling PongExample.c...compiling proprietary_p2p.c...compiling drv_spi.c...compiling drv_95HF.c...compiling drv_interrupt.c...compiling drv_uart.c

I'm using an STM32F466RE to drive a motor via PWM and want to sample a current monitor via ADC during the active part of the pulse so that I can integrate the amount of power delivered to the motor. This will require the sample rate to be high enough to obtain samples during the minimum pulse witdth (1/100 of PWM period) and what I'd like is to prevent the ADC from capturing wasted samples during the off part of the pulse since that would just be a heap of zeroes that need to be integrated. Is there any way to configure the device so that continuous ADC sampling is gated by the state of the PWM output? Or will I have to sample continuously and figure out what to ignore? At the moment I'm planning on driving the PWM at ~500Hz, sampling at ~50kHz, and using the calculated power in a control loop updated at maybe ~50Hz.

I don't use libraries.I got I2S working by polling. Below was my test. I had an array of 16 bit signed words for a tone of 1khz. The I2S pins from the MCU feed a an external DAC and produces a very nice tone.  RCC->APB1ENR |= RCC_APB1ENR_SPI3EN; // turn SPI3 clock on   Config_STM_Pin(GPIOB, 3, 6, H_GPIO_Alt_Function, H_GPIO_Output_PushPull, SlewRate_Medium, No_Pull_Up_or_Down); // I2S_Bclk B3 Config_STM_Pin(GPIOA, 15, 6, H_GPIO_Alt_Function, H_GPIO_Output_PushPull, SlewRate_Medium, No_Pull_Up_or_Down); // I2S_LRClk A15 Config_STM_Pin(GPIOD, 6, 5, H_GPIO_Alt_Function, H_GPIO_Output_PushPull, SlewRate_Medium, No_Pull_Up_or_Down); // I2S_Data D6   AudioMutePIN(1); // mute off   // set up I2SPLL   RCC->PLLI2SCFGR = (271 << RCC_PLLI2SCFGR_PLLI2SN_Pos) | (2 << RCC_PLLI2SCFGR_PLLI2SR_Pos); // this gives correct I2S_clock   // enable I2S clock   RCC->CR |= RCC_CR_PLLI2SON;   // wait until stable   while((RCC->CR &am

Hi everyone!I'm new to embedded and that's my first board - STM32F103C8T6. I'm trying to program it using ST-LINK V2, but getting error "can not connect to target" all the time. I've tried to done that on two different PC with Windows 7, but result remain the same.I've changed modes and reset board several times, as it said in error messages, but it didn't helped either. Board - STM32F103C8T6Utility is STM32 ST-LINK Utility v4.4.0Driver is STSW-LINK009There are some screenshots and photo of hardware attached Waiting for your advice a lot ;)

Hi,2 questions related to HW device, which works with STM32CubeProg:1. Can STM32CubeProg work with ST-Link v2?2. Can STM32CubeProg work with a J-Link device (rather than ST-Link)?Thanks,Aviv

Hello,Hardware : STM32F769-DISCOCompiler: Atollic 9.3.0I am trying to merge the Fatfs with mbedtls example from cube 1.15mbedtls has tx and rx buffers at SRAM2 region.Fatfs sample program fails to write and read a file. Can anyone look at the linker script and MPU_Config() function in main.c if I am doing it correctly.I am attaching the project folder.PS: simple fatfs program without any linker file modification works OK.Thanks,Tushar
