Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to integrate the SBSFU package (as compared to other packages) into the IDE, or more specifically, the CUBE MX, so I get easy configurability inside the Toolchain either than manually changing all my HAL c-files and librarys and so on?My understanding of the whole SBSFU and how to adjust the Framework is still not completely clear because the whole tool lacks significantly in documentation or at least, clear instructions how to use it with different Toolchains/IDEs.

I want to build the wireless application. I see the an5289 is a guide for that. but I can't find where I can download it.

Hi,I really need to know where I can find this application note : AN5289 - Building a Wireless application.This one is mentioned in all yours readme files in the STM32Cube FW WB package but impossible to find it neither on the web, nor through your website.Thanks for reply.

Hello Everyone,I have dealing with STM32F407 I2C peripheral in order to implement Non-blocking communication.I have made many trials but I2C1 event and error interrupts never occur. I checked the SB bits during the debug mode it becomes 1,the other register seems okay but interrupt is never created. Also I have made different trials, changed interrupt priorities, enabled  ev and er interrupts before enabling the periheral, after enabling periheral and after start condition is generated.I have made other trials with cubemx and hal library for my board. After SB bit is set interrupt occured. However  I couldn’t see the start bit  from logic analyzer.What am I missing here ?I am using IAR 8.32, Here is my code ;I2C.c void I2C1_SystemInit(void ){ I2C1->CR1 &= ~I2C_CR1_PE; // I2C peripheral disable // I2C1 Initialization PB8 (SCL) ve PB9 (SDA) RCC->AHB1ENR |= RCC_AHB1ENR_GPIOBEN; // Enable clock for GPIOB GPIOB->AFR[1] |= (4); // PB8 AF4 for I2C1 GPIOB-&gt

Can someone confirm the correct part marking for ST25DV04K-JFR6L3?

Hi, I have installed the latest STM32IDE (V1.0.1) but I cant see how to add the x-cube-ai package. The suggested method is to use the "Help Menu" -> Manage Embedded software packages" but this is greyed out. I also tried using Help->Install new software, I downloaded the "en.x-cube-ai.zip" package and tried to specify it as alocal install, bu this gives errors too.

When I look at source code I can only see bsp driver for ST25r95???It looks like it can detect tag of type ISO14443 or 15693 but the IDs read is not correct and sometimes it is and board reset randomly.My board is NUCLEO-L476RG.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to carry the first tests on our STM32MPU157A-EV1 based board but it automatically turns itself off after 17 seconds, what could be the cause of that?It actually allows me to start the SD card flashing process as stated here in step 6:https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Getting_started/STM32MP1_boards/STM32MP157x-EV1/Let%27s_start/Populate_the_target_and_boot_the_imageHowever, as it always turns itself off after 17s of being powered, it can never finish the process.Here's a log of the process: ------------------------------------------------------------------- STM32CubeProgrammer v2.1.0 -------------------------------------------------------------------       USB speed : High Speed (480MBit/s) Manuf. Hi all,I am modifing the Ping Pong example of the I-CUBE-LRWAN; I am working with a L073RZ nucleo board and the SX1272MB2xAS LoRa shield.I was performing some experiment (changing spreading factor, code rate, bandwidth) and the example with SF = 11 and SF = 12 doesn't work on the receiver side.I did not change anything in the example provided by ST: only the spreading factor, which work for SF = 7, 8, 9 and 10.Someone with the same issue?

I used latest CubeMX version and found another one bug in stm32l4xx_ll_usb.c generated by it. If you will compile code using "-O3" optimization level, function USB_WritePMA will not work properly. /** * @brief Copy a buffer from user memory area to packet memory area (PMA) * @param USBx USB peripheral instance register address. * @param pbUsrBuf pointer to user memory area. * @param wPMABufAddr address into PMA. * @param wNBytes: no. of bytes to be copied. * @retval None */   void USB_WritePMA(USB_TypeDef *USBx, uint8_t *pbUsrBuf, uint16_t wPMABufAddr, uint16_t wNBytes) { uint32_t n = ((uint32_t)wNBytes + 1U) >> 1; uint32_t BaseAddr = (uint32_t)USBx; uint32_t i, temp1, temp2; uint16_t *pdwVal; uint8_t *pBuf = pbUsrBuf; pdwVal = (uint16_t *)(BaseAddr + 0x400U + ((uint32_t)wPMABufAddr * PMA_ACCESS));   for (i = n; i != 0U; i--) { temp1 = (uint16_t) * pBuf; pBuf++; temp2 = temp1 | ((uint16_t)((uint16_t) * pBuf << 8)); *pdwVal = (uint16_t)temp2; pd

I'm using the STM32H743ZI with STM32CubeMX and Autollic. with external ADC and DAC with SPI. I have 4 ADC, different CSs, connected to the SPI1 and 1 DAC to SPI2. My DAC works but I get zeros from ADCs. I tested to connected another ADC to SPI3 and disabled SPI1. I saw that when I only used the SPI3, it worked but when I enabled SPI2 (my DAC), SPI3 stopped working. I send some values to my DAC once and read the ADC inside the While(1) loop. SPI1- mood (Recieve only Master) connected to ADCsSPI2- mood( transmit only Master) connected to DAC. I have already checked the spi settings for both ADC and DAC in separate test-board

Dear experts, I'd be grateful if you could point me to some basic CAN bus example code for the F103 (blue pill) which later may be ported to the F4xx family (most likely F423)Thanks for your help!

I am looking at using a few STM32G070 MCUs on a board and would prefer a single programming bus. As they don't have JTAG I am stuck with SWD. I know SWD protocol version 2 allows you to connect SWD in a bus with something called multi-drop. The impression I get is that prior STM32s dont have this but I am hoping it is something that has been added to this new series.

I'm having a problem to make USB CDC device driver work with FreeRTOS. If FreeRTOS is configured without TICKLESS_IDLE mode, USB CDC works fine. However, once TICKLESS_IDLE is enabled (or WFI is executed), I no longer able to finish USB enumeration process. It looks I can't get EP0 interrupt which indicates arrival of incoming SETUP packet. Why?My code is generated by attached CubeMX configs, then main loop is modified to make it sure that FreeRTOS idle task runs.void StartDefaultTask(void const * argument) { /* init code for USB_DEVICE */ MX_USB_DEVICE_Init();   /* USER CODE BEGIN 5 */ HAL_PWREx_EnableUSBVoltageDetector();   /* Infinite loop */ for(;;) { osDelay(10); } /* USER CODE END 5 */ }I have checked RCC_AHB1LPENR settings, but USBOTG clocks are enabled.I also tested similar configuration on STM32F767 and confirmed that USB CDC works with TICKLESS_IDLE mode enabled. That is, I imagine there is a some settings missing specific for H7, but I can't find it.Does

I need to disable Cortex CCR.UNALIGN_TRP bit, but I can't find the proper place in the CubeIDE generated code where this kind of init code should be inserted. Does anyone out there have a clue?

What would be a good accelerometer to be used in a product to detect if it has been dropped? The idea is to build a battery-powered subsystem for an (expensive) medical equipment to track improper handling (e.g. drop or tilt) during transport or during operation which might impact product performance. We would also be interested in a reference design for the whole subsystem incl. MCU, RTC and MEMS sensor.NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. We regularly review support cases and add any helpful ones here for all to benefit from.

I am new ti STM32CubeIDEI am trying to use the visual clock configuration tool.What I can't figure out is how do I select HSE in the PLL Source Mux? It seems to be disabled in the tool.

Hi,I'm using STM32H743ZI. I want to measure the LSI frequency by timer TIM16.Configure TIM16 by CubeMX (5.2.1)"Input Capture direct mode from Remap""TI1 remap capabilities for TIM16 => "TIM16 TI1 is connected to RCC LSI"TIM16 global interrupt => "Enabled"Call "MX_TIM16_Init()"In my opinion in line 29 Register TI1SEL should be set to 0x1. But the register does not change. If I set the register manually it seems to work./* TIM16 init function */ void MX_TIM16_Init(void) { TIM_IC_InitTypeDef sConfigIC = {0};   htim16.Instance = TIM16; htim16.Init.Prescaler = 0; htim16.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; htim16.Init.Period = 0xFFFF; htim16.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; htim16.Init.RepetitionCounter = 0; htim16.Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_DISABLE; if (HAL_TIM_Base_Init(&htim16) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } if (HAL_TIM_IC_Init(&htim16) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } sConfigIC.ICPolarity = TIM_INPUTCHANNELPOLARITY_R

I read mac_802_15_4_api_wb.c and Inside it mentioned "Check STM32WBxx_SW_Architecture_and_Design.pdf for further information".I searched this file, but I could not get it.So,where can I get STM32WBxx_SW_Architecture_and_Design.pdf ?

I need some text in chineese and corean, for example i need to write 한국어 and 汉语 , i've added those letters in my Typographies, but still get only ???, what am i missing? another strange think is that i forgot to put greek character in my typography, but the word ελληνικά is displayed correcly...btw, not sure if corean is supported, but chineese is, according to https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205452881-Languages-and-CharactersThanks.Stefano

Hello,Can someone let me know how to bring STM32H753XI-E02 Eval board back to its original status (i.e. factory default)?I tried to implement Quad SPI application and found the Eval board did not work well. The USB port (CN23) did not communicate and LD3 illuminated Red color. Thanks,James

Installing the latest STM32CubeIDE on mac is problematic.I am running MacOS 10.14.5 (Mojave)The install for ST-LINK Server fails with an error about it being incompatible and harmful.If I selected "New STM32 Project" then the following dialog appears, and just sits there indefinitely. You cannot click on OK or CANCEL and nothing works from now on.
