I have viewed every example on the internet, I think and seen many different commands and approaches. As long as the interrupt is disabled, the program works, but it crashes when enabled. Here are snippets related to EXTI. Maybe I have mixed code from too many sources and something conflicts.   RCC->APB2ENR |= RCC_APB2ENR_SYSCFGEN;  __HAL_RCC_GPIOI_CLK_ENABLE();      GPIO_InitStruct.Mode       = GPIO_MODE_INPUT;//   GPIO_InitStruct.Mode       = GPIO_MODE_IT_RISING;      GPIO_InitStruct.Pull         = GPIO_PULLUP;                              GPIO_InitStruct.Pin        = GPIO_PIN_2;&nbs

Hello, everyone.I downloaded the code to STM32H753 and then used STM32 Community to look at the data on the flash memory and suddenly I got one question.I downloaded my code on flash memory bank 2 sector 0 (address 0x08100000) and found that the data value was written on the area that is supposed to be the last part of the code I downloaded.The constant area was filled with 0xF7FFBFFE before the data appearedThis was also found in the source code .bin file I downloadedWhat do these data mean?

Now I need to download a jpg/png/bmp picture to FLASH, and show it . I do not find touchgfx have anything with that. If I want to use touchgfx, how can I do?

It would be great if the STM32L4 LQFP 48 pin package came with more RAM (and FLASH). The STM32L4 LQFP 64 packages have up to 320K of RAM.

Can some one tell me why this do not work?I start to freak out -.-..........I wish make 4 chanel adc with dma.Best Regards,Szymon

I've been using the example AN4657 and following it to a T. I'm using the example project library files form the STM32L476G IAP_Main and modified them where necessary to work with the 552.I can successfully connect to TeraTerm via usart3 connection and virtual COM port from the usb.I get the menu successfully and can send commands to the uC. However, when I attempt File > Transfer > Y-modem > Send... and select the bin file... it only gets the initial packet through and then stops sending/receiving.When I debug it I continue to get HAL_TIMEOUT from the ReceivePacket function.I've spent many days trying to solve this to no avail. The uC is constantly sending " send next packet" commands using CRC16, and I receive "C" in the terminal,but I just seem to get timeouts. I decreased the baud rate to 9600 to see if that caused an issue but it made no difference.--Update--Added Dump files from two other terminal applications besides Teraterm which also have Ymodem support.

The new STM32CubeMonitor software tool from STMicroelectronics displays runtime variables of STM32 applications in real time while enabling developers to customize the graphical visualization in their OS environment of choice (Windows®, Linux, or MacOS®).You can find the presentation and software at : www.st.com/stm32cubemonitorThe reference documentation and setup instructions are available in stm32mcu wiki : https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/STM32CubeMonitor:STM32CubeMonitor_overviewIf you have questions or want to share feedback, please post in this forum, and set the tag STM32CubeMonitor.

This is a cross-post from https://stackoverflow.com/questions/59856541/stm32f3-cubemx-generated-usb-hid-device-sends-wrong-data-when-both-endpoint-andI'm debugging a problem with a composite device that I'm creating, and have recreated the issue in freshly-CubeMX-generated HID-only code, to make it easier to resolve. I've added small amount of code to `main()` to let me send ISB HID mouse-clicks, and flash an LED, when the blue-button is pressed.   ...   uint8_t click_report[CLICK_REPORT_SIZE] = {0};   extern USBD_HandleTypeDef hUsbDeviceFS;   ...   int main(void)   {     ...     while (1)     {         /* USER CODE END WHILE */         /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */         if(HAL_GPIO_ReadPi

The cube monitor can't find my target board,but the KEIL did it.what should I do? Thank you ~~

Is it possible to use CAN and USB on the STM32F042C6U6 at the same time? I know it's not possible on the stm32f1 but the stm32f0 series is a bit newer and supposedly this is possible on some of the newer chips. I wasn't able to find anything in the documentation

I'm simulating some issues on my STM32F412 DMA SPI SLAVE because I need to avoid any unrecoverable situation.If for any reason the TX is not empty (TXE is 0), I'm not able to reset it (set to 1) even reinitializing the peripheral.Probably, something is missing in my deinit/reinit functions but I'm not able to find what...Thanks and best regards*****

Using the same .elf file for several projects using f303, f301, f407 and f779 MCUs, all work on the first 2 machines but although the Ubuntu 19.10 sees the STLink OK (the area I thought most likely to fail) the selection of the .elf file results in no variables being shown at all.Is a system function being used to examine the .elf file that is missing in the latest *buntu ?I've tried checking for dependencies missing (apt -f install) but nothing apparent.Cheers

I'm using stm32f103ze to send some data over the serial peripheral, but it didn't work. The settings are correctly set but when I try to write to the data register it always remains zero. Furthermore, none of the Serial peripherals seem to work. What have I missed? Thanks. Here is the code:#include "stm32f10x.h"         // Device header#include "stdio.h"#include "stdarg.h"void USART1_Init(void);void USART1_write(char ch);void printMsg(char* buffer, char *msg, ...);int main(void){ USART1_Init(); char buffer[100]; printMsg(buffer, "Today is %s", "awesome"); while(1) { }}void USART1_Init(void){ //Enable clock for USART1 and Port A RCC->APB2ENR |= RCC_APB2ENR_USART1EN; RCC->APB2ENR |= RCC_APB2ENR_IOPAEN; /* Reset USART1*/ RCC->APB2RSTR |= RCC_APB2RSTR_USART1RST; /* Clear reset */ RCC->APB2RSTR &= ~RCC_APB2RSTR_USART1RST; // PA9 as alternate function push pull GPIOA->CRH |= GPIO_CRH_MODE9 | GPIO_CRH_CNF9_1; GPIOA->CRH &amp

I am working on FreeRTOS based firmware on a STM32F103 MCU in STM32CubeIDE. I have the NXP Task Aware Debugger installed, which works fine on displaying the Task List info, but the Heap Usage display does not work. It does show the following error after attempting to load the data:In the TAD log file it shows this message:"10:35:50.998 INFO: [Benchmark] Loading data for "Heap Usage" has started.10:35:55.53 INFO: [HeapFactory] TAD will try to determine heap type (memory scheme) from available variables.Please add "static const uint8_t freeRTOSMemoryScheme = <heap_type_used>;" (or use macro configFRTOS_MEMORY_SCHEME, if defined)variable into your project for TAD to know which heap type is used.10:35:55.53 INFO: [FreeRTOS] FreeRTOS macro "configFRTOS_MEMORY_SCHEME" is disabled.10:35:55.53 INFO: [HeapFactory] Heap variable ucHeap is equal to "0x20000494".10:35:56.63 INFO: [HeapFactory] Heap type (memory allocation scheme) has been identified from available heap variables as Heap type

Hi,I am trying to get some clarification on the accuracy of the STM32L4's HSI16. AN4736 mentions that the HSI16 will leave ST's factory calibrated to [-0.75%, 0.5%] at 30 C. DS11453 section 6.3.8 shows that the drift over 0 to 85 C will be -1% to 1%. Is this in addition to the [-0.75%, 0.5%] so that the total drift over temperature could be up to -1.75%? Or is [-1%, 1%] the total drift?Also, the HSI16 stabilization time is given as 5 us max. Can the frequency be considered as 100% of its final value after this time?

Hello,I'm not very familiar with M0 from ST nor with this complex timers. We want to get the speed and direction of a particulat motor that we NOT drive (just observe). The sensors are HALL and OPTICAL (not sure for moment)For HALL interface I see that TIM3 is the perfect choice, through CH1,2,3 (for example PC6,PC7,PC8). This is correct, can we get both speed and direction?For OPTICAL encoder seems that TMR2 can be the choice in "Encoder" mode.

Hi all,I generated code in STM32CubeMX for STM32L081CBTx controller with AES enabled.I built the generated code (without modification) in STM32CubeIDE, but it failed with warning:../Core/Src/stm32l0xx_hal_msp.c: In function 'HAL_CRYP_MspInit': ../Core/Src/stm32l0xx_hal_msp.c:94:5: warning: implicit declaration of function '__HAL_RCC_AES_CLK_ENABLE'; did you mean '__HAL_RCC_ADC1_CLK_ENABLE'? I've just started my first FreeRTOS-based project. In the debugger, when I pause execution, all I see is this stack trace:Thread #1 [main] 1 [core: 0] (suspended : Signal : 0:Signal 0) prvCheckTasksWaitingTermination() at tasks.c:2,488 0x800b4f4 prvIdleTask() at tasks.c:3,235 0x800b404 pxPortInitialiseStack() at port.c:214 0x00ba94In order to be able to develop a FreeRTOS-based project, I need to be able to see the whole program, not just the currently suspended thread.Is there a way, in CubeIDE, of turning on FreeRTOS debugging features such as those present in Atollic or Kinetis Design Studio? http://blog.atollic.com/how-to-debug-freertos-projects-on-arm-cortex-m-devices https://mcuoneclipse.com/2017/03/18/better-freertos-debugging-in-eclipse/

Hi i have configured adc in continuos mode as you can se in MX_ADC1_Init(); but it only reads on first time when goes in the while(1) and never reads new value.void MX_ADC1_Init(void) { ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0};   /** Configure the global features of the ADC (Clock, Resolution, Data Alignment and number of conversion) */ hadc1.Instance = ADC1; hadc1.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV4; hadc1.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; hadc1.Init.ScanConvMode = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.ContinuousConvMode = ENABLE; hadc1.Init.DiscontinuousConvMode = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.ExternalTrigConvEdge = ADC_EXTERNALTRIGCONVEDGE_NONE; hadc1.Init.ExternalTrigConv = ADC_SOFTWARE_START; hadc1.Init.DataAlign = ADC_DATAALIGN_RIGHT; hadc1.Init.NbrOfConversion = 1; hadc1.Init.DMAContinuousRequests = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.EOCSelection = ADC_EOC_SINGLE_CONV; if (HAL_ADC_Init(&hadc1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } /** Configure for the selected ADC regular channel its c

Hi,I am using STM32MP1 and setup STM32MP1_artificial_intelligence_expansion_packages to run AI algorithm.Could you please guide me on: Is there any recommendation on which camera to use for AI application from ST side? Can I use Raspberry Pi camera or something like that with STM32MP1?Thanking you,Saurabh

Unfortunately I have already designed my PCB and am now hoping that I just forgot to set a jumper or whatever, but I could not find anything about it in the User Manual. Maybe someone can measure on his or her board to see whether I am mistaken.

Hello,I want to program (first time) an STM32F042K6 with STLINK-V3SET using SWD.When I try to "connect" with STM32CubeProgrammer, I get these informations : "Error : No STM32 target found!". Here is a screen :The connections are : I tried to run the µC forcing PB8(BOOT0) low and high, but I got the same problem.I have some ideas but I didn't find anything in the docs :1) I'm using STLINK-V3SET with MB1440B, it is an extension board provided by ST. Is there any jumper we need to add or remove (according to the docs, I would say no but...)2) Maybe STM32CubeProgrammer configuration is wrong ?3) It is the first time I program this chip, maybe I need to use the bootloader ? Thank you,Best regards,Valentin

Hi,I use HAL library to build code in CubeIDE. I use TIM1 channel 1 and 2 to output PWM.Channel 2 is changed pulse value to change PWM duty. When I repeat to set up this value. Sometimes, the register CC2P will be changed. But, I don't change polarity value. Code of changing pulse value is as below:void user_pwm_duty_ch2_setvalue(uint16_t value) { TIM_OC_InitTypeDef sConfigOC;   sConfigOC.OCMode = TIM_OCMODE_PWM1; sConfigOC.Pulse = value; sConfigOC.OCPolarity = TIM_OCPOLARITY_HIGH; sConfigOC.OCFastMode = TIM_OCFAST_DISABLE; HAL_TIM_PWM_ConfigChannel(&htim1, &sConfigOC, TIM_CHANNEL_2); HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_2); }static void MX_TIM1_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END TIM1_Init 0 */   TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef sMasterConfig = {0}; TIM_OC_InitTypeDef sConfigOC = {0}; TIM_BreakDeadTimeConfigTypeDef sBreakDeadTimeConfig = {0};   /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM1_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END TIM1_Init
