Hi, I have TESEO-LIV3F , I want to power the GPS when it's needed. I have backup battery connect to VBAT because i want to have hot start . 1- In my case how much current draw from the GPS when only VBAT powered? It says in data sheet 6uA as hardware standby, Is it the case when I just power VBAT? 2- what is the difference between hardware standby and software standby? and why software standby current is 12uA?Thanks

Hey AllFairy new to SPC5 development, coming from st's 32bit standard Micro controllers.I have a few questions on the process to creating a project from scratch1) Are we meant to just load the example projects and modify them according to our needs and add anything else OR can we start from scratch via New-> New spc project etcetc...2)Starting a project from scratch, and adding in the SPC5Studio Pin map editor, i do what i would normal do in CubeMX, save, generate. but from that i just have the platform_component_rla file, and nothing more. Referring to the help manual, under SPC5STUDIO -> Concepts -> spc5studio Projectsi'm missing my main components /dependencies. Is there a process to installing these into the project that i've missed ?Here is a photo of my workspace.

Hey guys.Im using stm8s003f3p6 and IAR compiler and ST SPL.When i use gpio_init to make pb4 and pb5 output i dont know why the output does not get high and low?Other pins on port c ,a and etc work well.

Hi guys, We have 2 different boards with STM32F0 processors, STM32F030RCT6 and STM32F030CCT6. Both boards work well, we are able to program, reset, run the code etc. However there is 1 conditions that leave the board in a unknown state and it's reproducible 100%.1) Full chip erase2) Power cycle the unit (if the unit is not powered off the problem is not seen)3) Program the board4) Reset the board. We have tried to reset the board via ST-link. Scoping the signal, the reset line goes low (as per other times when the reset works). Also we have directly grounded the reset line manually, with no successful result.5) It seems that the SWCLK is left at 1V, that makes us think that the processor programming/debug interfaces is left in a funny state. When the unit is power cycled this state is cleared, the code run just as expected, reset line produces reset, etc. As I mentioned, if the board is blanked but it doesn't loose power the issue doesn't occur.Anybody has seen similar behaviour? Hi All,I'm using SPC560P development board in my project. Using SPC5 studio for code development and UDE for debugging purpose. I built the project, but it is not creating UDE folder in the project .How I can create or update my UDE folder after every build. Thanks,Basava

Hi,I'm designing a power supply using a stm32F334R8 Nucleo board. For the application is interesting to trigger the ADC SOC at half the Ton (In order to measure average current).I am using STM32CubeIde. I have read the reference manual and the HRTIM Cookbook, among others. So far I think I have succeeded on triggering the ADC from the HRTIM. For validating that, I'm toggling a digital output inside the ADC EOC interrupt: Top signal is the duty cycle and bottom signal is digital output. Then the toggle should be happening at the half of the positive period. As you can see, the SOC looks to happen at the beginning of the switching period.See ADC init:static void MX_ADC1_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END ADC1_Init 0 */   ADC_MultiModeTypeDef multimode = {0}; ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0};   /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC1_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END ADC1_Init 1 */ /** Common config */ hadc1.Instance = ADC1; hadc1.Init.C

Hello Everyone, update: I Worked it out :), forgot to declare the function. must of deleted it and forgot about it.I'm having an issue with finishing a build, i've modified the low level drivers for Can and named the callback functions ( from the file /SPC560Dxx_RLA CAN Test Application for Discovery) initially everything was dandy, then after adding those in i started to get this errorin my can_lld_cfg.lst i have I've attached them, does anyone knows how to interpret this.

Hello, I have two board with SPC582B 64Pin.i want to test CAN communication each other. i did import sample what "SPC582BxxRLA CAN Test Application for Discovery"and i want to use CAN port - 1, 2i don't know how can i make code./* SPC5 RLA - Copyright (C) 2016 STMicroelectronics   Licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0 (the "License"). It's my first experience of web question, so I hope for your understanding

Hi,I'd like to know if there is a way to reduce the computing power required by the scroll List widget to redraw itself considering that it's incredibly slow on my board (note that it works just fine in the simulation). It does spread almost over the whole screen ( 480 x 800px) which makes it very slow (everything goes faster when the widget takes up less space). Is there a way to reduce the 'nb of steps' for instance, even if it's at the cost of fluidity (in the sense that instead of redrawing it for every px moved, just redrawing it for every two pixels). Thanks in advance

The pin PB5 used by SPI1 in REMAP mode conflicts with the SMBAl pin of i2c1, how to configure it as the MOSI function of SPI1 on STM32F103C8?PB5 seems to be used as SMBA by default when we use SPI1(remap mode) and i2c1 at the same time. Even if I configure i2c1 to standard i2c mode, PB5 is not released as MOSI. So, how to force PB5 into SPI1_MOSI on STM32F103C8?

Hello,I'm new on STM32MPU and I trying this tutorial : https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_cross-compile_with_the_Distribution_Package#Adding_a_-22hello_world-22_user_space_exampleI'm stuck at point 7 (Adding a "hello world" user space example) because when I run this command : devtool deploy-target -s myhelloword1 root@192.168.7.1 there is an error :ERROR: No files to deploy - have you built the myhelloword1 recipe? If so, the install step has not installed any files.I followed the tutorial, create the hello_world_example folder and add the .c file (anyway no make file is present), add the recipe and modified it according with the tutorial.Any suggestions ?ThanksRiccardo

Hello,I have an STM32F469NI display board. The program I wrote runs without errors. The only problem: The display now has to update itself automatically. Can you help me with the settings I need to make? Or do I have to generate that in the code?I would be very grateful for any feedback.greetingHenning Schlömer

Posted on February 13, 2017 at 14:03Short description: I can load .dfu file from DFU_Standalone code sample, but cannot load my own .dfu file.Details:I am trying to work with DFU_Standalone code sample. It works with STM32469I_EVAL_SysTick_0x08008000.dfu file provided in Binary directory. So, I open STM32469I-EVAL_USBD-FS project (full path STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.14.0\Projects\STM32469I_EVAL\Applications\USB_Device\DFU_Standalone\SW4STM32\STM32469I-EVAL_USBD-FS) in the System Workbench for STM32, build and execute it. Then I run DfuSeDemo application and see 'STM Device in DFU mode'. After this I click 'Choose' button in 'Upgrade' box, select STM32469I_EVAL_SysTick_0x08008000.dfu file, click 'Upgrade'. Finally, I execute 'Leave DFU mode'. STM32469I_EVAL_SysTick_0x08008000 is activated, I see 4 LEDs animation on the board. Now I want to load another application, instead of STM32469I_EVAL_SysTick_0x08008000. So, I open GPIO_IOToggle code sample in the System Workbench (full path is STM32Cube

I'm start to develope a board with touch sensing capability using STM32WB55CEU 48 pin but is System Tab on CubeMX i can't find TSC peripheral.. cube is at 5.6.0 and FW package for STM32WB is 1.5.0Any suggestion?thanks in advance

The example I'm trying to work with comes from: STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.25.0\Projects\STM32F4-Discovery\Examples\UART\UART_TwoBoards_ComPollingTo enable in the compiler means the board is the transmitter and disable means the board is the receiver. The compiler line is fixed though so I don't see how to add the enable or disable switch. Please let me know how, if you can.Thank you for helping.Dan

Im sending the "Get System Info" command to check receiving data correctly from the M24LR04 via I2C.The packet that I sending is {0x00 (request flags), 0x2B(get system info command), 0xF6 (CRC LSB), 0x75 (CRC MSB) }the response that I get is 0xFF for all.I'm using the STM32F031 MCU and keil IDE also using the functions HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit / HAL_I2C_Master_Receive from the stm32f0xx_hal_i2c.c library.I have on the same board another chip connecting to SDA/SCL lines and I manage to communicate with successfully. code example:uint8_t buffTx[4] = {0x00,0x2B, 0xF6 , 0x75 };HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c1, M24LR_Add, buffTx, 4, 10);HAL_I2C_Master_Receive(&hi2c1, M24LR_Add, dataBufferAdd, 8, 10);Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello,I am using stm32f4 discovery. I wrote 2 interrupts to blink LEDs in different speeds to write an example for NVIC. I have 1 question that I wonder about and 2 issues I couldn't solve. Here is the situation :All interrupts work well seperately. Also lower interrupt works well after higher interrupt is done if it isn't broken due to issue 2.Question 1: Is NVIC grouping works local or global? If it works global then it might mess up all the configurations that was set before the last one. (My code uses only groupconfig(3) so this isn't the reason of the issues I am getting. I just asked to be sure about it)Question 2: Isn't interrupt with the lower priority supposed to return where it left after the interrupt with the higher priority is triggered while interrupt with the lower priority working.Issue 1: Both interrupts work well when they are seperately executed. Also when interrupt with the higher priority triggered while the lower priority interrupt working, It stops and go to hand

Board: NUCLEO STM32F103RB - MB1136 C-01Hi all,I try read, trought ADC1_IN0 (pin PA0) , the temperauture value from LM35, but read wrong value.LM35: connected at 5V, GND and A0. ADC1_IN0: work at 8 MHz with voltage reference of 3.3V and 12 bit of resolution. In ADC-> DR register is store a value of 535 equal about 44°C but the temperature in the room is about 20°C. I think there is a problem with the voltage reference of the ADC. Can you help me?

Hello! I discovered STM32CubeIDE recently and I've really been enjoying using it. The device configuration tool makes it easy to set up the parameters. In my project I want to decide at startup whether a certain pin should be an ADC or GPIO_Output. I tried to do this by setting up the pin as ADC in the normal way using the device configuration tool, copying the appropriate code into my 'user code' sections, and then removing the configuration.I also had to copy the stm32f4xx_hal_adc* files into the 'Core' section, and define HAL_ADC_MODULE_ENABLED for the preprocessor. Although it compiles, the result is that it hangs inside HAL_ADC_PollForConversion waiting for the ADC_FLAG_EOC (end of conversion) flag to be set. My code is very simple, this works nicely when using the definitions generated by the tool:HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1); HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1, HAL_MAX_DELAY); uint16_t val = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1);Looking into this a bit deeper, it seems the first difference

Hello,I have a probably simple question: Where I can change ST-LINK Settings in System Workbench IDE. For example in ST-LINK Utility in Settings I can change Reset Mode to Software System Reset, and I don't know where I can find this setting in IDE.I have this problem without this setting changed:BR, Daniel
