When I am trying to compile project Consumer_DRP_RTOS from C:\xx\X-CUBE-USB-PD-master\STM32CubeExpansion_USBPD_F0\Projects\STM32F072RB-Nucleo\Applications\USB_PDI get a lot of errors. I managed to eliminate some of them by adding header files to the appropriate places. And so at the moment I have errors of the form (see the image below) . A project search indicates that function a is not present. There are only USBPD_StatusTypeDef USBPD_DPM_InitOS(void) and USBPD_StatusTypeDef USBPD_DPM_InitCore(void)but htis block of code is not compilling:/* Initialize the Device Policy Manager */ if( USBPD_ERROR == USBPD_DPM_Init()) { /* error the RTOS can't be started */ while(1); }And the question arises: do I do everything correctly (although it would seem-I opened the project, compiled it, and study the work, but in fact there were typos in several places like toogle instead of toggle).Also I tryed to compile other project and got next result:UPD 1.Ok, I solved the problem with USBPD_ERROR

Hi,i have a system with 4 demoboard STM32WB55NUCLEO and 3 STM32WB55DONGLE. One nucleo is a P2P Client, the other 6 are P2P Server. I have modified the examples P2PClient and P2PServer for:direct advertise the client from the 6 serverspair with PASSKEY ENTRY methodhandle up to 8 connectionsWhat happens: the connection manager that i created in the client connects and pair the servers one by one. The connection, pairing and communication work fine.When I reboot a server, the client retreive an EVT_DISCONN_COMPLETE in which the state of the connection "i" is reset to APP_BLE_IDLE. When the connection manager relaunch the aci_gap_create_connection to reconnect the server, the return is the error 0x41, that is not in the standard return values of the function.What is the mistake? Do i have to call some particular function in the EVT_DISCONN_COMPLETE for reset some status? What does mean that error code?Thanks you in advanceLorenzo

Hi I am using Bluenrg 2 BLE module but not able to find audio service libraries for the same module so can I used Bluenrg 1 module's audio libraries for Bluenrg 2 ?

I'm trying to erase the entire eMMC chip using an STM32F405.I send CMD35+CMD36+CMD38 and get the expected R1 response from all 3 commands. After CMD38, the D0 line goes low to indicate the chip is busy erasing. About 1000 SDIO clocks after CMD38, the SDIO_CK clock unexpectedly stops. No other communication is done on the bus and the code is (intentionally) stuck in a while loop. Interrupts are disabled during the entire time.The above is with a 24MHz clock (or anything 8 MHz and over). If I slow the clock down to 4 MHz, I get the correct behavior. The SDIO_CK clock never stops, the D0 line eventually goes high, and the chip is erased.The 3.3V rail is solid.The communication is otherwise working fine. I can read/write to the card at 48 MHz clock. I have read out hundreds of GB with no errors.This was working fine before. I tested with a different STM32 board and got the same behavior, but I don't have another eMMC onhand to test with. Even so, the SDIO

There is a function called HardFault_Handler in the STM32 MCUs (full code below). This function I usually work with when debugging but am unsure how to use this for handling error. What is the correct protocol to handle errors in this function? If a fault has happened ideally I would like to clear the MCU ram and reset the MCU. However what if the handler code causes more faults. Is there a standard protocol for handling faults (not just HardFaults)? void HardFault_Handler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN HardFault_IRQn 0 */   /* USER CODE END HardFault_IRQn 0 */ while (1) { /* USER CODE BEGIN W1_HardFault_IRQn 0 */ /* USER CODE END W1_HardFault_IRQn 0 */ } }

Executing this code sequence on a STM32H743ZI or STM32H743IIRCC->AHB3ENR |= RCC_AHB3ENR_QSPIEN; QUADSPI->CR = QUADSPI_CR_EN; QUADSPI->CCR = QUADSPI_CCR_FMODE_0 | QUADSPI_CCR_IMODE_0; QUADSPI->DR;i.e. indirect read with only an instruction phase, then reading the data register freezes the MCU, i.e. no further instructions are apparently executed.Debugger connection is lost, tries to reconnect a couple of times then gives up. I was able to reconnect the debugger only with Connect under reset enabled.Watching the QSPI registers in the debugger has the same effect even when the DR register is not directly read by the code.Workaround: avoid this sequence, use indirect write mode instead to send SPI commands with no parameters.UPDATEI have read the reference manual (better late than never) and found this:When DMODE = 00, the data phase is skipped, and the command sequence finishes immediately by raising nCS. This configuration must only be used in only indirect write mode....

i've got a "low cost" dev board with STM32F429BI SOC and 5inch touch LCD, and i'm praticing with the current CubeIde 1.3.1 / TouchGfx 4.13 CubeMX framework.i followed the instruction for a new bring-up and they are pretty enlightning! the TouchGfx boys are pretty strong!Now, i put all the stuff for FMC SDRAM and LTDC proper cfg (scanline and more), when i enabled the LTDC global interrupt i started seeing the light of the first screen in my TouchGfx mockup project.The issue i'm facing now (before delving more in depth on the touch screen driver as next steps) is about a "flickering" starting to appear some 30 seconds later after program running.. see the video below (complete "idle" framework, Model.cpp tick() is called, empty, nicely..)it looks to me some kind of "hardware FIFO/DMA" is trashing.. but i'm puzzled because it does NOT happen at start, but at a later time.. and it goes worst along timei'm just wondering if you have seen something similar before.. and/or have a clue about

I want to change the environment with STM32MP151. but I can't find about this information , question 1) How to configure STM32MP151 for uboot ? how to change to single core from dual core ?2) How to configure STM32MP151 for linux kernel?3) Is it possible to test the operation by setting the dual core of the STM32MP157C-DK2 to single core?

Hello,i'm using NFC04A1 board to test the ST25DV04 module. I want to reduce current consumption as much as possible.So i powered up only the nfctag board and connected the ampmeter. My Vcc is equal to 1.8V.i measured about 140uA in normal mode, when i connected the LPD pin to the Vcc, ampmeter shows about 90uA. Before this i removed R13 (1kOhm) from the board to avoid the current leaking through this resistor.According to documentation current consumption should fall below 1uA when module is in LPD mode. Are there any special requirements to get this level of current?Could anyone tell me why my current consumption is so big? Or how to reduce it more?Regards,mf

Hello!I am trying to create my own USB PD device, but initially I want to test it using P-NUCLEO-USB002 kit. And I don't understand how correct install the X-CUBE-USB-PD library. I tryed to do it from CubeMX (V5.6.1), but there is no such extension in list. Can someone explain me what I have to reed to solve my little problem? Thank you!

Hi all,I'm developing a low power sensor node using the Nucleo STM32L432KC development board, and I was wondering what the lowest power mode is from which the device can wake up and just continue operation from the next line of code after the sleep command?I can't seem to find it in the datasheet.I think I should be able to use the standby mode with the SRAM 2 enabled, but I'm not completely sure.

Hello everybody,Regarding STM32 H7 family:I am going to use SDMMC module of one chip of H7 family,by my own C code and without using any operating system(if possible) .As I ponder the manual reference of the chip,I noticed to "sdmmc_ker_ck" or "SDMMC kernel clock",which is necessary for SDMMC to work correctly.In my opinion, "kernel" refers to the operating system.Is it possible to use this SDMMC without considering or running any operating system on the chip or not?(I mean by writing a simple and stand alone application by C language).Your consideration is highly appreciated.

STM32MP1.Working on an solution that will use OpenAMP between M4 and A7 and then to user space. The M4 will run real time critical code that will send a message to the A7 when data is available,  Got the raw and USART samples compiled nder CubeIDE and it''s working as loading the M4 code works.However wish to use a callback (interrupted) solution in a Linux user space application instead of this user space application polling a device or channel endpoint in a thread to check for data , thus to save CPU load. Even better is avoiding to have to use kernel modules for this A7/M4 brigde.  I could not find much use cases of OpenAMP even it's quite an established technology. Any guidance would be helpful.

ST say that VL53L1 family integrates a SPAD (single photon avalanche diode) array, physical infrared filters ...If I use this sensor in close proximity with a device that emits light at a wavelength of 850 nm, I need IR filter information to predict how much this sensor will be affected by light at a wavelength of 850 nm IR.If I can clearly see the optical performance like the product in the link below, I will be able to find out what needs to be done with or without the 850 nm device.https://midopt.com/filters/bn940/But at least if I can know the center wavelength and FWHM information for the IR filter of the VL53L1 family, it would be very helpful for me to make the device.Thanks in advance to STMicroelectronics engineers.

Hi All,Is the source code for the Application Note AN5305 Digital filter implementation with the FMAC using STM32CubeG4 MCU Package available ?Thanks,Manu

We're prototyping the ST25DV-I2C to incorporate in our product line in order to encode the serial number of each device. This is for tracking during the mfg. process, but also for quickly taking inventory. Taking inventory is where we would like a powerful reader (1+ meter) to quickly aggregate all the serial numbers of the devices sitting in a stockroom.

We're currently prototyping the ST25DV-I2C, incorporating into our device product line, for tracking during the manufacturing process and well as taking inventory. Taking inventory is where we would like to have a more powerful (1+ m) antenna to quickly aggregate all the numbers encoded in the tags on all our devices.

Hi, every time that I plug in my Nucleo-F446RE board a removable USB drive also appears (I'm using macOS Catalina 10.15.5). If I unplug the board without unmounting the USB removable disk that appears when it's attached then I have a 90% chance that when I re-plug the board again it will not be recognised properly and I have to restart the whole operating system to make it work again. And I just keep forgetting to remove that USB drive.So is there any way I can get rid of that functionality entirely? Or any other suggestions how to deal with that? Thank you in advance.

Hi ST,I have problem with MVP when applying BaseView for Views.complier said cannot convert argument 1 from 'PresenterType' to 'T &'Please help me fix the problemThank you.

Board: STM32F746NG Discovery BoardI misinterpreted the Power Supply Jumper JP1 on the STM32F746NG Board. :\ I connected two jumpers on JP1. One that connects 5V_USB_ST_LINK to 5V and another on 5V_USB_HS and 5V.USB-HS-OTG Functions stopped working after I did this.I tried the following already (But it did not help):Using only 5V_USB_ST_LINK jumper on JP1Using only a 5V External Supply on E5VUSB Devices on USB-HS that were earlier detected, are not being detected anymore. From the schematic, I do not see anything major that can go wrong. I have a question.I made progress with reference to this YouTube video.(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12KXreXaLp0)After creating the basic template stm32f 769-disc using TouchGFX designer 4.1.3.0, the .ioc file was created and the stm32cubeide 1.3.0 stm32f 769-disc project was covered. After the basic setting (copying flag.id and adding BSP folder), there was no problem in debugging, but I am not sure whether it is qspi or LTDC, but stm32f769i-disc kit shows only black screen. The attached file is my project file. We would appreciate it if you could tell us how to solve it.

Hello,here is another bare metal question on STM32G071. I am trying to get the SPI to work. But it is not generating any clock signal or MOSI signal. Here is my init code trying to get it to work on GPIOB 6 to 8:void init_spi(SPI_TypeDef* SPI) { if(SPI == SPI2) { RCC->APBENR1 |= RCC_APBENR1_SPI2EN; // enable SPI2 RCC->IOPENR |= RCC_IOPENR_GPIOBEN; // enable GPIOB GPIOB->MODER &= ~(GPIO_MODER_MODE6_Msk|GPIO_MODER_MODE7_Msk|GPIO_MODER_MODE8_Msk); // clear alternate functions PB6, PB7, PB8 GPIOB->MODER |= (GPIO_MODER_MODE6_1|GPIO_MODER_MODE7_1|GPIO_MODER_MODE8_1); // alternate functions PB6, PB7, PB8 GPIOB->OSPEEDR |= 0b111111<<14; // PB6, PB7, PB8 very high speed GPIOB->AFRL |= (GPIO_AFRL_AFSEL6_2|GPIO_AFRL_AFSEL7_0); // PB6, PB7 SPI2 GPIOB->AFRH |= GPIO_AFRH_AFSEL8_0; // PB8 SPI2 }else{ return; } SPI->CR1 = (SPI_CR1_MSTR|SPI_CR1_SSM); // SPI master, enable, soft s
