Nucleo-F446RE board cannot be flashed after being removed without disconnecting removable disk

Hi, every time that I plug in my Nucleo-F446RE board a removable USB drive also appears (I'm using macOS Catalina 10.15.5). If I unplug the board without unmounting the USB removable disk that appears when it's attached then I have a 90% chance that when I re-plug the board again it will not be recognised properly and I have to restart the whole operating system to make it work again. And I just keep forgetting to remove that USB drive.

So is there any way I can get rid of that functionality entirely? Or any other suggestions how to deal with that? Thank you in advance.

Oh, I forgot about that. I updated the firmware on the board something like two weeks ago, but I completely forgot about that one.

I'm going to try that and see if it gets rid of the issue. Thank you!
