Hi. ST MC Workbench is a PC software which reduces the design effort and time in the STM32 PMSM FOC firmware library configuration. Is there any similar software for positioning?

Hi,I decided on adding the ST25R3911B to a project I work on.I puchase the ST25R3911B-DISCO and for start I would like to "play" with the L4 firmware in order to understand how to manage the ST25R3911B correctly.My problem is that the STSW-ST25R002 (oftware contains the ST25R3911B-DISCO firmware source, which is an USB HID controlled application for STM32L476) is given as a project for Keil. The L4 is not free for use with Keil.Is there a way to get the firmware project on some other free IDE?Thanks.

Hi All,I am trying to set a few GPIO speed to High Speed but I was struct when PC13-15 are only able to set to Low Speed. May I know is this the STM32CubeMx bugs?Or it is the STM32F446RE limitation? Please help.Many Thanks

Touch Designer set pix format as ARGB2222, RGB LCD using LTDC setted pix format as L8. In a simple project ,now it can show correctly. But I imgrate this project with a Touch Designer Demo Project , it can not work correctly. Error show I found uint16_t stride = lcd().framebufferStride();Than deeper in LCD8bpp_ARGB2222.hppthis makes error.How can I fix the error?

I'm trying to use 3 GPIO Pins as a 3-bit ID essentially. Depending on the values read, the uC will configure itself in an appropriate way (1 bin fits all tools essentially). The problem I'm having is that with the eval board the pins are pretty close together, so I can only fit my jumper wires on the top corner pins of each section, vastly limiting the number i can test with.I can get 2 pins that consistently behave correctly when I have the inputs driven/not driven, but the 3rd is always on a pin that constantly be in a HIGH state even at initialization. How do I fix this?int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */   /* USER CODE END 1 */   /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/   /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init();   /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */ Configure_Card_GPIO_Init(); Configure_Card_Type(gpioSelection); ....   } static void Configure_Card_Type(int gpio_lin

Hello,I am trying to retrieve data from a USB mouse with a STM32F429IGT. (The reason that I typed F4xx in my question is because I tried on other F4 series MCUs)To make sure that my wiring is correct, i connected D+ D- to PA11 and PA12 that are soldered to a microUSB. Plugging it to the computer, I detect it (on the computer), no problem. I also verified that the voltage and current are sufficient when microUSB is not plugged.Also, the HSE is set as well, and I have a crystal oscillator that is set in RCC as Crystal/Ceramic Resonator. I can tell that it is working because I already used USB with this STM32 as a VCOM in device mode.Disconnecting microUSB and the mouse afterwards, I activate USB_OTG_FS as host HID through CubeIDE and try the given example of mouse. However, when I plug the mouse back, nothing happens. It seems that phost->State never changes from the HOST_IDLE state. Further investigation reveals that the function USBH_LL_Connect, that, from my understanding, detects

Posted on June 18, 2017 at 09:21 Hello i have a program on the 32F030f4p6 chip for testing the system clock frequency. It blinks an LED at about 1Hz. the problem is that when i change the PLL multiplier from 2 to 12 the LED still blinks at the same 1Hz. i configured the system clock for 48MHz but it seems to be running at 8MHz. i don't know what i'm doing wrong. #include 'stm32f030x4.h' int main(void) { // sysclock configuration RCC->CR |= RCC_CR_HSION; // 8MHz RCC->CR |= RCC_CR_PLLON; RCC->CFGR &= ~RCC_CFGR_PLLSRC; RCC->CFGR |= RCC_CFGR_PLLSRC_HSI_DIV2; // PLL source = 4MHz RCC->CFGR &= ~RCC_CFGR_PLLMUL; RCC->CFGR |= RCC_CFGR_PLLMUL12; // <-- changing the multiplier has no effect on LED frequency RCC->CFGR &= ~RCC_CFGR_SW; RCC->CFGR |= RCC_CFGR_SW_PLL; // PLL selected as system clock RCC->CFGR &= ~RCC_CFGR_HPRE; RCC->CFGR |= RCC_CFGR_HPRE_DIV1; // ahbclk not divided RCC->CFGR &= ~RCC_CFGR_PPRE; RCC->CFGR &am

Getting stable V-sync and H-sync pulses is critical for clean VGA output. Getting these completely stable on the H743 was difficult and required multiple iterations of different PLL settings. but was possible.On the Nucleo-H7A3ZIQ it has proved completely impossible.V-sync pulses are showing a variability of up to 25uS one to the next. This shouldn't be an issue with displays that use a pixel clock but VGA displays don't and are compromised by the variability in timings of H-Sync and V-Sync.Pity, the 1Mb of internal ram on the H7A3 is enough for a 16-bit 800x600 display without needing external memory but the chip simply isn't usable for this application. :sleepy_face:

Hi there,Variations of this question have been asked before, but I have had no luck so far.I am attempting a very simple setup where I am using SPI to write to a display, where the screen does not talk back. I am using SPI1 on the STM32F091 and cannot get any signals on the CLK and MOSI lines. I am using other GPIO for CS, RST, and DC. I simply want to use the SPI drivers to control the CLK and MOSI, I am doing the rest manually.I used CubeMX to generate code and am still not getting anything. I am sure it is a stupid control bit somewhere that needs to be flipped, but I am at a loss.Here are the generated Init functions:Here is my main. I am simply sending one byte over and over looking for signals on the line.Here is the state of my SPI1 registers right before I transmit over SPI.It seems like the NSS and NSST have caused a lot of problems for people but I have NSS pulse disabled. I admit that I dont have the greatest understanding of what NSS and NSST are doing.Any help is appreciat

Hello,I'm using a STM32G431 MCU ADCs in dual mode. I'm trying to get control of the sampling rate and have found a frustrating issue. I don't need to scan multiple channels. Though the only way to get maximum sampling rate, or to have any control over the sampling rate via prescaler, is to enable scan mode. That would be an acceptable work around, but scan mode introduces its own unwanted artifacts into the samples. In scan mode, though I can get the rate I want, I have the extra data from the scanned channels which I do not need. If I don't use scan mode, the sampling rate is fixed somewhere around 300ksps which is not fast enough. Besides that, slowing the sampling rate is apparently not possible via prescaler in this case.Any ideas how I can do these conversions, without scan mode, while having full control of the adc clock?void MX_ADC1_Init ( void ) {       ADC_MultiModeTypeDef multimode = {0}; ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0};   hadc1.Instance = ADC1; &n

On the stasrt-op screen of Cube the is a picture/text about Github.I can't find any link to ST CubeMx on Github. I find a lot of links about Cube but they I dont think they what CubeMX talks about.

I am trying to modify the pcb based on the altium design files. unfortunately i cant locate theST25RU3993_UHF_RFID_Discovery.PcbLib library. that most of the components are relying on. where can i get this file? if this file s not available how i can change the foot prints? do i need to create my own library?

Hi, for a project, I have designed a PCB with the component LPS25HBT. We want to know if there are some technical recommendations about the sensor's boundary conditions.Will we have to design the cover with some distance between the sensor and the boundary? Some distance or relative distance between the sensor and the cover?If the PCB is embedded in resin must have a minimum distance between the sensor and the resin.Thanks in advance!

I am working on a project with a client, we use git for revision control and we have a private, shared, online repository for the project. When the client pulls the latest project, opens the "ioc" file in CubeMX, and regenerates the project, he sees the "ioc" file has many changes.Examination of his file and the original shows that the actual data looks to be the same in both files, however, the order in which the data appears is very different. On the most recent pull and generate he reported over 300 "changes" in the file.Why is this happening and how can we avoid it? Seeing the project file marked as changing so much may be benign, however, especially for the client it is disturbing.Sid

Hello everyone, I am new to STM32CubeIDE. I want to ask how to configure Memory address in the STM32CubeIDE. (Image Below)I saw that the linker file was auto generated, so I am assuming that there is a setting in STM32CubeIDE that can let me configure the memory such as adding SDRAM memory ORIGIN and LENGTH. Currently, I manually adjust the file,I am worried it will get overwritten some time in the future after compiling the project.

Dear STM CommunityI am facing a problem with flashing/erasing STM32H745 microcontroller using STM32-ST Link Utility. Everytime I try to perform any operation I receive popular "Can not connect to target! If you're trying to connect to a low frequency application, please select a lower SWD Frequency...."So I did that. I went to Target -> Settings. ST-LINK, Serial Number and Firmware of ST-LINK V3 were recognized correctly. I was even able to upgrade the firmware. But setting Mode to Normal or Connect Under Reset or lowering the frequency of SWD is not helping me with connect to, flash or erase the chip. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Hi, i'm using a nucleo-144 board with LwIP stack v2.0.3 in a network communication hardware project, most specific a STM32F207ZG. I would like to change the "STMicroelectronics" string that appear in a scan network for a custom string.Someone have an idea of how to...?

Trying to receive data on MCU (L432KC) configured as SPI slave. I have tried using interrupt and DMA, but no luck. I have set up the circuit like this : 1 MCU acts as master sending 1,2,3 every 500ms interval (I hooked up master lines to scope and the signals are generated correctly). On the other MCU configured as slave, I've connected a RGB led, which is supposed to react to 1,2,3.Here's my code (interrupt handler commented)#include "stm32l4xx.h" // Device header   //RGB led is common anode   #define RED_ON (GPIOB->ODR &=~(1<<1)) #define RED_OFF (GPIOB->ODR |=1<<1)   #define BLUE_ON (GPIOB->ODR &=~(1<<6)) #define BLUE_OFF (GPIOB->ODR |= 1<<6)   #define GREEN_ON (GPIOB->ODR &=~(1<<7)) #define GREEN_OFF (GPIOB->ODR |= 1<<7);   void SPI1_Slave_init(void); void delayms(int count); int SPI1_read(void); void SPI1rx_DMA_init(int c);     int main() { int c=1; SPI1_Slave_init(); SPI1rx_DMA
