Hi,I have a custom board with a ST32MP157C and a 24AA025E48 on a i2c bus.In the U-Boot, I want to read the MAC address located in the 24AA025E48 on the i2c bus 1 at address 0x53 at offset 0xFA.When I can use the following commands it works (MAC Address: 80:1F:12:36:36:7B)STM32MP> i2c dev 1Setting bus to 1STM32MP> i2c md 53 FA 600fa: 80 1f 12 36 36 7b ...66{STM32MP> but when i use the i2c read it does not answer anything.STM32MP> i2c read 53 1 6 FASTM32MP> what is wrong with the command ?who can i do to store the result in a variable in order to change the board ethernet mac address ?Thanks.

In RM0430 Rev 8, 9.3.19 DMA "Error management":an interrupt is generated if the corresponding interrupt enable bit (TEIE, FEIE, DMIE) in the DMA_SxCR or DMA_SxFCR register is set.It should say "DMEIE", not "DMIE"

HiI am working on the A7-M4 big data exchange example included in the next branch:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/meta-st-stm32mpu-app-logicanalyserThere is a  la_reserved node that is included in thereserved-memory node of the stm32mp157c-demo-logic-analyser-mx.dtsla_reserved: buffer@db000000 {  compatible = "shared-dma-pool";  reg = ;  no-map; }; https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/meta-st-stm32mpu-app-logicanalyser/blob/thud/mx/STM32MP157C-DK2/demo-logic-analyser/DeviceTree/demo-logic-analyser/kernel/stm32mp157c-demo-logic-analyser-mx.dtsIt looks that this memory is used for the m4_dma2 device tree node.&m4_dma2 { memory-region = ; status = "okay";}It looks that it is to reserve specific dma external memory addresses for the m4, but If i am not wrong the A7 is mapping external dma memory inside the rpmsg_sdb_mmap() function using dma_alloc_writecombine(), so this DMA memory should be allocated from the CMA, then the

Hello,I updated to CubeMX 6.0.0 and CMSIS 5.7.0 today.The code containing FreeRTOS and LwIP, which I previously created with CubeMX 5.6.1, is no longer working.FreeRTOS gets stuck in vPortValidateInterruptPriority () function in port.c file in about 2 seconds.I made the priority of my own cuts 5 because it says there is a problem with cuts. but it has not improved.When I activated FreeRTOS before, interrupt priorities changed automatically. therefore I cannot be sure that all interrupts are at the right priority.Does anyone have an idea how to fix the problem?

Dear all,I created an external loader for a custom board and I am using it on the STM32CubeIDE (copying it in the specific folder) to debug; everything works fine.How can I use the same external loader in the STM32CubeProgrammer? I tried to insert the stldr file in the programmer's folders where there are the other stldr files but then it does not appear in the external loader list of programmer.Workaround question: is it possible to use the STMCubeIDE program from the microcontroller from a hexadecimal file? If yes, how?Thanks in advance.

I've been working with CAN on the STM32F1 for some time , but I'm having a terrible time trying to get it to work on the F303. I'm hoping someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong. Hello,I'm developping a software where some timers are totally configured through STM32CubeIDE and others totally configured through registers. I'm getting errors concerning the register configured timers. Here is an example :../Drivers/CMSIS/Device/ST/STM32F1xx/Include/stm32f103xb.h:649:31: error: expected identifier or '(' before 'TIM_TypeDef'I'm wondering if STM32CubeIDE code and register code is possible! Can someone help me?Regards,

Greetings.I've entirely stuck with this problem.MCU: STM32F407VGT6Realization: custom PCB and F4 Discovery board.Problem: Microcontroller can't gather information from encoders.Description:   There are three motors with built-in encoders that I want to control. These motors have a controller that power encoder and drives motor by a PWM signal. It works with the TTL voltage level(5V). I used a discovery board to make a prototype where encoders were connected directly to the STM32. Everything works just fine. I made a custom PCB where all inputs are isolated.   For motor controllers, I've used ADuM1402 isolators (Quad-channel digital isolator), where two channels are output signals (PWM and direction), and two channels are inputs from the encoder (CHA and CHB). After some tests, I realized that only one of three encoders is processing right, and I get only zeroes from the others.  I checked the voltage and signal on the pin and saw that maximal amp

It is recomanded to set unused pins to analog input.

Listen, I have chosen the day that had a plenty of free seats! First I have chosen another day but the system replied that this day is full, then I've chosen another one which was OK. Now I am simply thrown away from the event! WTF? Who do you think I am to beleive this ********?

If this device is powered-down (i..e voltage is 0 on all rails), what impedance will be presented by the Port pins? If a pin from a powered-down STM32H743 is connected to a pin on another (fully powered) device, what current drain will occur?

I have a very simple question and I hope there is some simple answer.After creating translations in TouchGFX, we noticed that numbers can be display either using decimal points ($12,333,444.00) or using decimal commas (12.333.444,00€).When I change the language from say English to French, how do I change the values displayed to differentiate decimal point and decimal comma?

In the datasheet, it says the gyroscope in the LSM6DSO is 1LSb = 70 mdps at +/-2000 dps full scale. I'm curious how this is obtained. For a signed 16-bit number I get 2000 / 32768 = 61mdps.For the accelerometer, 1LSb = 0.061 mg at +/- 2g full scale, which I agree with. 2 / 32768 = 0.061 mg.Where does the discrepancy come from in my gyroscope calculation? Is it simply that the gyroscope is not sensitive enough to realize the ideal angular rate precision?

I would like to show a text from a .txt file (FatFs).The .txt file contains a log of the HMI, so it gets every time bigger.Is there any solution to show any dynamic text?I can do it with a wild card and set the buffer size very high. But someday the text from the file will get bigger then the wildcard buffer.RegardsDejan

I was wondering why the library function  LL_I2C_HandleTransfer is not available in th F4 LL library?

Ok, so I'm finding my way through STM32CubeIDE, MX and TouchGFX. I've read a lot, whatched videos and read tutorials. Cutting to the chase, I'm using a 747HDisc0 board, STM32CubeIDE v1.4.0 and TouchGFX 4.14.4. I'm obviously trying to use them together and, like many in the past, struggling to get going.I've created non-graphical projects in CubeIDE and successfully run them on the Disc0 board. I've created projects in TouchGFX and successfully run them on the Disc0 board.There isn't much that I can find on the latest releases, but plenty on IDE 1.2 and TouchGFX5.5. The main advice seems to be: Create an app in TouchGFX, generate the code and import the resulting .ioc into CubeIDE.Two issues:I don't see an .ioc file when I generate code from TouchGFX.If I open CubeMX > Software Packs > Select Components, X-Cube TouchGFX 4.14.0 has no download option (although I have it installed) and states that 'This pack cannot be used on the selected processor", and the 'generator' option is gr

I have PWM setup on my STM32L412, but there is no output on the pins. I move a value to CCR1, CCR2, CCR3 but there is no output. I'm using cubeIDE to generate the HAL setup, but I notice that the timers aren't enabled, but this isn't the solution - even if I set this bit there is still no output. Can anyone help? The HAL setup is belowstatic void MX_TIM1_Init(void) {   TIM_ClockConfigTypeDef sClockSourceConfig = {0}; TIM_SlaveConfigTypeDef sSlaveConfig = {0}; TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef sMasterConfig = {0}; TIM_OC_InitTypeDef sConfigOC = {0}; TIM_BreakDeadTimeConfigTypeDef sBreakDeadTimeConfig = {0};   htim1.Instance = TIM1; htim1.Init.Prescaler = 0; htim1.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; htim1.Init.Period = 0; htim1.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; htim1.Init.RepetitionCounter = 0; htim1.Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_DISABLE; if (HAL_TIM_Base_Init(&htim1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } sClockSourceConfig.ClockSource = TIM
