I want to make a graph (let's just use a y = sin(x) function as an example) on my STM32 discovery board. I can make a basic gui from the standard widgets you get when you first run Touchgfx designer and I can add code to make them do stuff as well. I saw no way to add a graph so I googled it and found out you need the graph widget from the repository found here: https://github.com/touchgfx/touchgfx-open-repositoryI have downloaded the repository and my question now is how to get the graph widget into TouchGFX designer so I can start coding it to display y = sin(x)? I have a bunch of folders from the repository and the TemplateView.cpp/.hpp files tell you what the individual functions do but not how to get the widget itself into the designer. Apologies if I am missing something obvious here but I could find no clear answers anywhere else.

Hi!I would like to make a wav. player using STM32 microcontroller. My first step was to generate a sine wave using STM32F103C8T6, SPI interface and external DAC MCP4921. However, it's not working.I attach the schematic of my device.I wrote 2 versions of my program using CMSIS in STM32CubeIDE. In the first version of the program a timer is generating an interrupt every second. Every 4 seconds microcontroller sends a digital value to the external DAC using SPI interface. I checked the output of the DAC with multimeter and voltage levels are correct. It is working. I also checked RCC, GPIO, SPI and timer blocks of microcontroller: they all work. So, the first version of the program works perfectly. In the second version of the program a buffer is initialised with 100 sine wave values. A timer is generating an interrupt with a frequency of 40kHz, microcontroller sends a sine value to the external DAC using SPI interface. The frequency of the sine wave should be 400Hz. However, I cant hear a

Supposed I am using external memory via an 16 bit address / 8 bit data bus with FSMC (STM32F714). An RTOS is running. Is access to this memory atomic (in the sense of thread safety) when I read/write 32 bit wide data? The consideration is, for instance:bytes 1 and 2 are already written, then a task switch occurs, and another task uses the FSMC controller for a different read/write operation;worse: the second task accesses the same memory location, thus overriding all 4 bytes, and then, when the former task continues, it finishes writing bytes 3 and 4.Can the processor handle these operations atomically, or is usage of a mutex appropriate when accessing the same resource (external memory, or the FSMC infrastructure as a whole)?

I have a question to the Pinout of my L432KC..Iam using I2C1 and SPI1(Miso, Mosi,Scl)Can i use pin PA_9 and PA_10 as GPIO for different things while iam using IIC ? or are they connected togher ? (like PA9 with PB6 and PA10 with PB7 )

Hi everyone,STM32MP1 ROM Code has default AF mux for SPI_NOR/NAND like this:QUADSPI_CLK -> PF10 (AF9)QUADSPI_BK1_NCS -> PB6 (AF10)QUADSPI_BK1_IO0 -> PF8 (AF10)QUADSPI_BK1_IO1 -> PF9 (AF10)I want to remap to the new pins using the OTP CFG5..7The poinst is, what is the order of usage.Which part of which word should be assigned to which function. My used pins like this:QUADSPI_CLK -> PG7 (AF9)QUADSPI_BK1_NCS -> PB10 (AF9)QUADSPI_BK1_IO0 -> PD11 (AF9)QUADSPI_BK1_IO1 -> PF9 (AF10)so how should be seen the OTG Word 5 .. 7? My decision is like that. but i want to make sure it is true.CFG5: 0x77912A97CFG6: 0x4B9169A1

We encountered a big issue with the ADC's in a project. The G4 device has 4 ADC's configured (ADC1, ADC2. ADC3, ADC5).ADC1 and ADC2 are sampled simultanious and triggered by HRTIMER1A interrupt with 4 channels each.ADC3 and ADC5 are in independent mode and are triggered at different times by HRTIMER1B interrupt with 1 channel each. The problem we encountered now is that the ADC1 samplings are not consistent. It seems like there are always "steps" on which the measured voltages stay or alternate.First I assumed some problem with the ADC multiplexing, however after disabling all but ADC1 the issue is still there. The signals at the ports are all fine and stable without noise, the Vref is external but stable as well as Vcc. It somehow looks like the ADC got damaged. I tested the same code on a Nucleo board with the same result. We got like 20 PCB baords, all use the same code, but about a third of the boards are messed up. Another weird thing is, that the ADC measurements and "steps" are get

HiFor STM32L4R5QII6 is there any way that we can control GPIO i.e., PF15 pin when the MCU is in Shutdown state. Do we need to have any pull-up for those GPIOs which need to be controlled?

Dear community, once again I am asking for your kind help. I want to implement a simple timer interrupt as a time basis on my STM32F407. I configured Timer11 and it seems to count as I expected (as far as my debugger can tell me). When the counter hits the first overflow, the "update interrupt flag" UIF from the TIM11_SR register is set, but the ISR is not executed. I already searched for a global interrupt flag that I might need to set, but as far as my research told me there is no global interrupt enable, but maybe I am wrong on that.My initialization code and the ISR are mentioned below.static unsigned int counter = 0;   void timerInit(void) { RCC->CFGR |= (0b1111 << RCC_CFGR_HPRE_Pos); // only for debugging RCC->CFGR &= ~(0b11 << RCC_CFGR_SW_Pos); RCC->CFGR |= (0b01 << RCC_CFGR_SW_Pos); // choose external crystal osc as system clock RCC->APB2ENR |= (1 << RCC_APB2ENR_TIM11EN_Pos); // Enable Timer 9 clock source TIM11->DIER

Hi Team, Planning to interface DALI interface to STM31L152- EVAL board kindly suggest me.STM32L152 EVAL - MasterDALI 4 channel LED dimmer - slaveDali click2 Board - Bridge So, How can i use DALI stack library ....is that direct ST provided code can use...??? or any other tool (MiKroSDK /Mikro C pro for ARM) required...???I found STM32L152 Slave library is STM cannot be used as master if it is then DALI library for STM how can be used....its not available with ST. could not abe find in STM site..???please help me by providing example or any application note for How to implement DALI with STM31L152-EVAL as beginner....???Quick reply much appreciated. Can someone reply please on these above question if known or kindly provide ST technical support Mail-id or contact .

I am trying to build new firmware for the BlueNRG-2 but am not sure how to configure it as a target. I have looked all over in the documentation and it just mentions that the BlueNRG-2 uses a cortex-M0 processor. I'm assuming it is in the STM32F0 family? I figured there would be support for this device in STM32CubeIDE but haven't been able to find anything promising. I apologize if this seems like a stupid question, but if someone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome!

I am using the X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1 as a power board and NUCLEO-F303RE as a control board. Using an incremental encoder of 1024CPT I was able to drive the motor as slow as 6RPM, even after several attempts I was unable to achieve any lower speeds. When I request any lower speeds the motor stops and goes into the "lock rotor" meaning the motor stops rotating but still draws current. Thanks In advance Manpreet

Hello,I am using the stm32l433ccu6. I would like to connect my LiPo battery (1 cell) on Vbat. When this battery is full, the voltage is 4.2V. I am very interested in using the Vbat monitoring feature (ADC1_IN18). But in the Absolute Maximum ratings paragraph, the maximum voltage on Vbat is 4.0V.For me, this battery management feature is useless if I can't event plug a simple LiPo battery on Vbat and if I need to add components before the Vbat pin to lower the voltage. Is it normal ? Or is it a mistake in the datasheet ?Thanks.

Hi,I have SPC560b-DIS Discovery Board in my hand. I am trying to prepare the necessary working environment for this, but I have problems in the compiler part. Although I opened the Discovery card sample code on SPC5studio, the compiler settings are not displayed. What could be the reason for this? Can you help me set the compiler settings?

Hi,We are working to an ANN development on TensorFlow, this ANN works on computer and not on MCU.During implementation throught CubeMX, an estimation of RAM and Flash permit to select an appropriate MCU.My question is, ANN implementation is only available if we use internal RAM and Flash or we can run ANN on external RAM ?BR,

I searched in the datasheet, but I could not find any information about the minimum possible measuring range. There are only values for the maximum range. Is there any official information from ST available? What are your experiences? Thanks in advice for your assistance.
