I am currently working with the EVSPIN32G4-DUAL board and have a question regarding the I2C pin configuration.According to the EVSPIN32G4-DUAL schematic, the I2C signals are connected to pins PC4 and PA8.However, when generating a project using MCSDK version 6.4.1 and checking the pin mapping, the I2C interface is assigned to PC9 and PC8.When I modify the project to change the I2C pins from PC9/PC8 to PC4/PA8 and then update the firmware image, the system does not operate correctly.Could you please clarify the reason for this discrepancy between the schematic and the MCSDK pin configuration, and advise on the correct way to configure the I2C pins for this board?  Thank you for your support.Best regards,Pelino

We're bringing up yet another custom board with the STM32H735 as the core processor. Built the first one, handed it to the software guy, and a few minutes later he says it's broken. Won't program, won't go to DFU mode, nothing. "You must have zapped it by accident!" Grumble.....get out the hot air gun and swap the part. At least it's a QFN100 and not some BGA package. Fixed, dropped it on his desk. Go to lunch.Phone rings. "It's broken again. As soon as I downloaded code it died." Aaarrggghh! Back from lunch, steam off processor #2, install #3. This time, I'll make sure. Create a new IOC file, populate it with all the right pin settings, configure the peripherals, generate code in CubeMX, open project in CubeIDE. So far, so good. Add a couple lines to flash the debug blinkylight, hit download. Code downloads, processor goes away. No blinky. No nothin'. Vcore is at zero. On power-up, but NOT after hardware reset, there's a momentary blip on Vcore followed by a decay to ground. Some

Hi we need a clarification on this controller STM32L4Q5RGT6 here it is mentioned as voltage range V1 and voltage range V2. can you clarify what voltage exactly refers to Voltage v1 and v2 and in which IO volt does this OCTOSPI works.

Hi everyone.I'm using the STM32U073Mx / LQFP-80 pin. While designing a schematic, I ran out of ports, so I'm curious to see if I can use the VDD (battery voltage) to VBAT pin trick to measure the battery voltage. I'm looking at the datasheet and reference manual(RM0503).For reference, I'm using VREF+ as an Internal voltage reference mode to measure the temperature sensor (will use thermistor's power source), so I can no longer use the VREF+ pin as an input. So, I'm trying to configure it as needed. When measuring the thermistor temperature sensor, I use VREFBUFF(Internal voltage reference mode) to power the thermistor. And for normal ADC operation, VREFBUFF(maybe Hold mode) is connected as the ADC reference voltage.Anyway, I found the following sentence in the RM documentation, and I'd like to know its exact meaning.[Temperature sensor, DAC output, VREFINT and VBAT internal channelsThe temperature sensor is connected to channel ADC VIN[11].The internal voltage reference VREFINT is co

Hello Forum,I’m working with a custom display that uses an ST7789V controller (GRAM) connected via FMC and MDMA.The single framebuffer is located in .RAM2.The microcontroller is an STM32H750.The application (the .text section) runs from QSPI flash, while the internal flash contains only the bootloader. Some widgets (such as TextArea) are rendered correctly, but others (like ToggleButton) appear corrupted.Additionally, the background image shows horizontal line artifacts. Please compare the two pictures:The first image is the expected reference. The second image shows the artifacts — the button is distorted, and the horizontal lines in the background image should not be there.Has anyone experienced similar issues or has suggestions on what might be causing this behavior?

Hi,we are planning to use STM32H742xI/G controller in our design, we have reviewed the datasheet and need a clarification on the IO logic for QSPI.Does this controller supports 1.2v IO logic for the QSPI.

Hi, I tried to find a solution in the forum, but unfortunately without success. The problem is as follows: I need to generate a PWM signal that changes the period (not the duty cycle) with each iteration. (MCU: STM32F411)I'm setting up the timer to use a PWM output on channel 1:Global interrupts are also active: Then the DMA will be configured to update the ARR register:In the code the DMA will be activated as following:for (int i = 0; i < 32; i++){u32FreqUpdate[i] = 2000 + i*100;}// Activate PWM channel 1:TIM_CCxChannelCmd(htim4.Instance, TIM_CHANNEL_1, TIM_CCx_ENABLE);// Activate PWM output:__HAL_TIM_MOE_ENABLE(&htim4);// Activate ARR Update:HAL_TIM_Base_Start_DMA(&htim4, u32FreqUpdate, sizeof(u32FreqUpdate)/sizeof(uint32_t));As a result:The Output updates 3 times (without to change the frequency (period)) and then PWM Stops...Could someone explain me, what I'm doing wrong?

Hi,at this moment I have two projects (BootLoader and Application), but I have some shared files. What is the best solution to share those files? Is it possible to create an 'empty' project, with only those shared files, and make the two projects depending on it?Or is it possible to add a directory, which can be handled by both projects? Thanks in advance.Greetings,ErX

I like my digits to be monospaced so they don't dance, but I want letters to be proportional. I want to use 1 font for this. There are fonts that support this. These are called tabular fonts. They have monospaced digits and support figure space (0x2007) for alignment. There are fonts that support this that are also available in TouchGFX Designer:Segoe UIcalibriTahomaThis works. I wrote some code that replaces leading spaces before digits with digit spaces if the font supports it. This works really well and numbers no longer dance. Alternatively you can right-align a text field. But then you cannot have any text before it or you have to split the text in parts (so printf is not possible anymore and you might as well use two different fonts).Another way is to modify a font (make digits same width and remove kerning for digits, and add figure space). I've done this, but this is a lot of work. And this is not allowed for many fonts (our customer allowed us to do this). There are other fonts

Hi,I’m using the STM32G491RET6 MCU and currently working on the ADC.I have three analog inputs:Two connected to ADC1One connected to ADC2At the moment, the ADCs are configured to use an external VREF+.I would like to switch to the internal reference instead:How do I configure the ADC to use the internal reference? How do I enable and configure VREFBUF?Does changing the VREFBUF voltage scaling affect the VREFINT value used by the ADC?If I use the internal reference, can the external VREF+ pin be left unconnected or removed?Any guidance or example configuration would be appreciated.

Eclipse and hence CubeIDE has this problem described here (and in the title):https://github.com/eclipse-platform/eclipse.platform/issues/2244#issuecomment-3533012572For Eclipse there is a patched version out there. Is there a timetable to get this fix out for CubeMX?Or instructions how patch CubeMX?

Hi Team,i am working in the daisy chaining bmscctx and bmscc using a Pi MCU. I was able to get the values using only bmscctx.now i am having issue when i connect the bmscc also.the problem i find is in the user manual3185, the figure for daisy chain is given as:and it says to connect ISO Hp to ISO Lm of the next node (that is opposite polarity).but when i looked in the L9963E datasheet, it is given as :Here ISO HP is connected to ISO LP (that is same polarity)so my doutb is which among the above should i follow. And due to this i think my values after daisy chain is not displayed. My second node is not assigning as my daisy chain is not configured correctly.( i am using mcu as pi btw)Thank You.

Hi all, I'm trying to get some knowledge about the use of OEMiRoT using the NUCLEO-H563ZI board following the ST Tutorial How to start with OEMiRoT on STM32H573 and 563–Arm® TrustZone® enabled - stm32mcu. Once the certificate chain has been created, I'm facing some problems with the Debug Authentication procedure: indeed, after setting the root key and root certificate in the Debug Authentication page of STM32CubeProgrammer, and selecting "Level 3 Intrusive Debug" as stated in section 3.2.1 of the tutorial, I receive both a "Debug Authentication Success" and a "Error: ST-LINK error (DEV_CONNECT_ERR)"; after this, I'm not able to read any of the data stored in the chip flash, neither with STM32CubeProgrammer or STM32CubeIde.This problem adds to those already mentioned in topic STM32H563: CubeProgrammer UART connect fails in PRODUCT_STATE = iROTProvisionedAm I missing something? All other levels of authentication, either secure or non-secure, are returning me the same error wit

I am using a Nucelo-429zi board for development and my custom PCB schematic is based on this board.  I am experiencing a problem where about 10% - 20% of the time after a hardware reset the PHY will fail auto-negotiation.  The green led does not come on and the amber led blinks.  This happens even when on the debugger and the MCU is not allowed to run.  I only have one Nucleo board so I cannot try another to see if the problem is unique to this board. Is this a known problem? seen before? What could it be?  Possibly the clock circuit?

Hello, I have a pair of these boards on my hand, there is no information regarding WM-SG-SM-42_Shield_v1.0 board its jumpers pinout etc. Could you please provide a schematic or more detailed guide whats available? I've seen on early posts some got the reference design via mail. Could you please provide for me also? Thanks!

Hello all, I've come here for a issue I failed to debug. My setup is as follows: I have a NUCLEO-F767Z development board and im debugging/programming it through the onboard STLINKV2 with SWO enabled. I am simply just trying to get a USB device to enumerate. I have configured the USB_FS host to the drive VBUS through pin PG6 where the USB power switcher is on the nucleo. My clock configuration is shown in the attached image. When plugging in a USB mouse (that works on my PC) through a USB A Female to USB Micro Male adapter, the SWV console prints forever:  USB Device Connected USB Device Reset Completed ERROR: Control error: Device not responding USB Device Connected USB Device disconnected USB Device Connected USB Device disconnected USB Device Connected USB Device disconnected USB Device Connected USB Device disconnected USB Device Connected USB Device disconnected USB Device Connected USB Device disconnected USB Device Connected USB Device disconnected USB Device Connected USB D

@Didier HERROUIN We currently use the WLC38, but wish to use the WLC89. Our sales rep already provided us with the full datasheet and schematic. He also has samples of the STWLC89 on order for us. However, there are no more evaluation kits available. We have the firmware for the WLC38, but there is nothing in the repository for the WLC89.We can probably figure out most things from the datasheet (includes reference schematic with BOM) as we have developed with the WLC38, but it would be a lot less effort with some reference information. Can any of the following for the STEVAL-WLC89TRX kit (rev 2.5) be provided?eval board reference design files gerber filesC-code, headers/firmwareThank you!

Hello all,I am planning to purchase the EVLSERVO1 to control an industrial three-phase PMSM servo motor (rated 220V AC) for a hobby project. I will be running it at a lower voltage and accept the speed loss. The motor has a 17-bit absolute encoder using RS485 physical layer (protocol is currently unknown, likely proprietary, which I plan to reverse engineer). The EVLSERVO1 manual states: "The 120 Ohm termination resistors R84/R85 must be removed if termination is embedded at encoder side." My encoder has a built-in 100 Ohm termination resistor. While I understand the manual's instruction to prevent double termination, I would prefer not to modify a new board if possible. If I leave the resistors on the board, the parallel combination results in a ~54.5 Ohm load. Given that I plan to use a short cable (< 1 meter), is the EVLSERVO1's transceiver robust enough to drive this lower impedance without signal collapse? Or is the "must remove" warning critical because the board uses 3.3V logic a

Doing the set up in MXI have four ADC channels on APB2 with PCLK2 at 84 MHz sampling 4 microphones. The recommended audio sampling rate stretch from 44.1 kHz up to 96 kHz, so initially I'm happy anywhere in that range for now. I have set the clock pre-scaler to divide PCLK2 / 4 so the ADC clock is at 21 MHzI have 12 bit resolution which takes 15 ADC cycles but then in the "rank" section of the parameter settings there is a pull down for sampling time for each channel. I'm guessing that the value I pass in the "rank" section is what I would use to get the final sampling rate.e.g. if I chose 84 cycles for each channel then I would have a sample rate of 250 kHz per channel giving a sample rate for all conversions of 62.5 kHz?Or do I add the sample time to the resolution time e.g. 84+15 giving a sample rate of ~212 kHz per channel?

I am using a UX_Device_Audio2.0-based project on H7. When I play a stereo file (actually dual mono), the right channel plays correctly, but the left channel contains a mix of left + right. When I play mono file, the right channel is much louder while the left is extremely quiet.Could this be a codec configuration issue (mixer/settings), a USB audio packet scheduling problem, or something else? I can't seem to find a fix yet.

I am trying to complete one – just one – ADC conversion without using DMA. This is sort of a one-off sampling after power-on, and subsquently the regular sequence conversion with DMA is to take over. But I don't get that far.I'm trying to sample ADC1 channel 15, but never get a high EOC flag. To be absolutely certain about how the ADC is set up, I've read these register values via STM32CubeProgrammer:ADC1_CFGR = 0x80000000In short: Injected queue disabled; contiuous and discontinuous modes off; hardware trigger disabled; DMA disabled.ADC1_CFGR2 = 0In short: BULB disabled; gain compensation disabled; oversampling disabled.ADC1_SMPR2 = 0x0003E000In short: Channel 15 sampling time 640.5 clock cycles; channel 14 sampling time 247.5 clock cycles.ADC1_SQR1 = 0x081C23C0In short: First conversion channel is 15. Number of conversions is 1. All other bits should be irrelevant.ADC1_CR = 0x10000005In short: ADC voltage regulator is enabled; ADC is enabled: ADC is converting (apparently)ADC1_ISR =

I work on the STM32U5G9J-DK2 and what I noticed, the RTC doesn't accepted properly hour value which is greater than 12. Than calendar doesn't work, don't actuallize and the hours going UP for example from 23 to 24 and from 24 to 25 and so on... It's really strange bcos on the STM32F407 it work flawlesly without any problem. The solution is using 12 hour format write and sign AM/PM by RTC_TimeTypeDef.TimeFormat value 0 = AM, 1 = PM. Then calendar is properly running and if anyone like me want use 24 hour time format it need realised by software.Or if anyone know for this MCU other method to use 24H format by hardware you could be posting below.

At present, as of the last Hal version as far as I know, obk cannot be used in a non trust zone project.FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_QUADWORD_OBK fails because the NS bits aren't set, among other issues.Is this by design, IE obk can't be used by non TZ, or is this just simply not a completed or fully fixed feature? Here is what I'm doingI've edited HAL_FLASHEx_Erase like#if defined (FLASH_SR_OBKERR) else if ((pEraseInit->TypeErase&~(FLASH_NON_SECURE_MASK)) == FLASH_TYPEERASE_OBK_ALT) { /* OBK erase to be done */ FLASH_OBKErase(); /* Wait for last operation to be completed */ status = FLASH_WaitForLastOperation(FLASH_TIMEOUT_VALUE); } #endif /* FLASH_SR_OBKERR */And my code is:int keyStorageSavePrivate(char* key) { uint32_t status; uint32_t len = strnlen(key, KEY_STORAGE_SIZE - 16); int ret = 0; static uint32_t FlashWord[4]; if (len >= KEY_STORAGE_SIZE - 16) { return 1; } len += 1; // Add string 0 HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); HAL_FLASHEx_OBK_Unlock(); if (len & 0b
