Hi,I'm quite new to STM32 MCUs as I just switched from PSoC MCUs. I'm using a STM32L010K4T6 and I cannot get it to work as the problem seems to "disappear" after reset or power off. I went through the configuration (I'm using STM32CubeIDE) and I cannot find anything related that could solve the problem. When I flash the MCU it works perfectly until I remove the power or just reset manually. I was thinking that it could be the reset vectors or bootloader that are not jumping to the correct memory address or not jumping at all. I attached the test project I'm running.Thank you!

Hello everyone,I am using an STM32L4 MCU and I am trying to create a digital bandpass filter for the data being received on the ADC channel. Is there any standard library which would enable me to do this? If there is not, are there any resources (application notes, software etc.) that would aid me in doing this?Any recommendations/suggestions/information would be greatly appreciated!

We are very rarely hitting an assert in vTaskStepTick() due to the sleep period being longer than expected. This looks like it could be due to a timing susceptibility in the kernel but that may be due to my own misunderstanding or something that we have done wrong. The target is an STM32L1 and we're using TrueStudio 9.2.0.We have the watchdog disabled and I have a unit that has locked up due to hitting the assert in vTaskStepTick() and I have hot connected to it with the debugger to analyze the call stack, which I have described here in order to easily show all of the screencaps from TrueStudio: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BlFnEj5G2aWgIHgNeg_0CsHc6fpi8DXHWNL95ia_NNc/edit?usp=sharing

Looking to create a digital bandpass filter using the STM32L4 MCU and wondering if the ST10 DSP library can be used to do this?

I'm debugging STM32G071RB by using Nucle-G071.The code I use is generated by STM32CubeMX, and I try to put break point to variable in "static void MX_ADC1_Init" but it semms like not to initialize because I cannot put break point there.I confirmed that sample code in L0 is fine without any trouble.I only generated initial code and never write user code.Does anyone find this problem before? If you have any advice please teach me, thank you.

Hello,I am having troubles changing boot1 address in Option Byte in FlashI want to change boot1 address, allowing me to launch either in bootloader mode (system memory) or usercode mode(flash) without using a jump.I am currently testing on the STM32H743 EVAL BoardHere is the code changing the address and it does not appear its changing anythingHAL_FLASH_OB_Unlock(); HAL_FLASH_Unlock();   /* Change Boot0 address */   if(mode)OBInit.BootAddr1 = BOOTLOADER_ADDR0; else OBInit.BootAddr1 = USER_CODE_ADDR0; HAL_FLASHEx_OBProgram(&OBInit);   if (HAL_FLASH_OB_Launch() != HAL_OK) { return(-1);//error }   HAL_FLASH_OB_Lock(); HAL_FLASH_Lock();Thanks,Gabriel

HiBy changing linker script file of GPIO_Toggle code such that it points to RAM . And loaded the .hex and .bin ( specifying start program address as 0x20000000 ). The code looks like get stuck and never toggles LED. But when run in debug mode through cubeIDE . I see LED toggling. Can you please point out what and where i need to do changes to make code run in RAM other than in linker script Using stm32h7b3i-dk , cubIDE and cubeprogramer.

Hi,I am using a SPC570S-DISP development board, and I am trying to create a new application form that. I have tested out a few example application given in the IDE, and they work fine. Now I want to develop such an application from scratch. However, there seem to be no guide as such, showing the necessary step to follow in order to properly configure the application. I have also referred the Help section. One problem that I came across is that, in the MCU wizard, I am unable to configure any of the peripherals. When I click on one of the peripherals, no options seem to appear. Is there a document that can be referred, or a tutorial that I can follow? Thanks.Dinuke

Hello together, I'd like to know which ST Link is the one to work with a STM32G070.We have some old V2 ones which will not be updated because of the compatibility to old projects. Is it better to use the V3 or the latest V2? Thanks a lot.

Hi.I am using stm32cubeide version 1.2.0. I am using stm32CubeMx version 5.6.1.The "int _write (int file, char * ptr, int len)" function is not called when the printf ("test") function is called. What did you do:1. Added to Properties ---> c / c ++ Build ---> Settings ---> Linker ---> Miscellaneous ---> -u _printf_float and -u _scanf_float.2. Added to the main () function, printf ("test");3. Launched the program4. Did not receive a call to "_write (int file, char * ptr, int len)" to transfer characters "test".How can I solve my problem? Thanks for your time.

Hi all,The file include/configs/stm32mp1.h in U-boot defines CONFIG_LOADADDR to 0xc2000000. I understand this is the address in RAM where u-boot puts the uImage loaded from persistent storage (SD, NAND, etc).At the same time, according to [2], the kernel uImage is built with LOADADDR set to 0xc2000040. I understand this is the address where the kernel is relocated.Wouldn't this be a problem, as the address of the loaded uImage and the address used for relocation seem to overlap? Also, I think that common convention for ARM is to use <base RAM address> + 0x8000 for relocating the kernel; what is the reason to use 0xc2000040 here? How do I flash the STEVAL-BLUEMIC-1 board? The STEVAL-BLUEMIC-1 board came with a 5 pin SWD programming cable. What does this interface with? Is there an ST Link tool that connects to the SWD cable and a USB port on a computer?

Setup is for the accelerometer STEVAL-MKI211V1K. My laptop is HP Folio 9480m using Window10. Laptop connecter through USB cable to the STEVAL-MKI109V3 running UNICO software. USB Virtual COM port was successfully setup on COM6, on the STEVAL-MKI109V3 the blue LED or D6 shows power available, all connections verified but measuring the VDD pin of the 24-pin mounting board 9STEVAL-MKIGIBV3), there is no voltage. The error message seen when running UNICO is shown on the attachment. I tried to run the STLinkupgrade3.3.4 from STM32cubeprogrammer but the board is not recognized. Please advise.

Hello,I'm some confused how external interrupt is working with GPIO. If PA3 and PB3 are both configured as external interrupt, and assume the two interrupts are not coming simultaneously, how to determine which PIN generates the interrupt when EXTI3 is triggered? Thanks in advance!

How can I find out on a written program on CubeIDE that which pin of the microcontroller is used for different peripherals like ADC, Timer, DAC and so on?

Hello Everybody,I am using the STM32H743ZI chip with STM32CubeIde. I have been having success with my code running in debug mode with the debugger attached. however when I power off the board and start it up there is a problem when the program start transmitting data on SPI4 in blocking mode. The MCU appears to just freeze on the call to HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive(chip->hspi, (uint8_t*)&dataFrame, (uint8_t*)rxData, 1, 1000);(Even after the timeout value, I have tried lower timeouts too) Other code and SPI transfers are working ok when I reset the board. I have tried setting an LED on in the Error_Handler() function. But that does not seem to respond:void Error_Handler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN Error_Handler_Debug */ /* User can add his own implementation to report the HAL error return state */   HAL_GPIO_WritePin(LED_GPIO_Port, LED_DATA_OUT_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET);   /* USER CODE END Error_Handler_Debug */ }What is strange is that a similar call to spi2 works fine. In our application we have an application in which the ST25DV04K is used for a smartphone APP to conduct readouts. Behind we have STM32L011xxx which makes some calculations as well and the result is stored in the ST25DV04Kxxx. We would like to program the STM32L0 via NFC so we get rid of the connector and make the product smaller and compact. Do you have a best case for firmaware flashen over NFC - People told me that we need initially a boot programm, but this doesn´t solve the problem, as we would something to flash Bootprogramm either. Man thanks for your suggestion, Christian

I want to quickly verify the SWD debug interface of my new H7 MCU. These is no firmware can be downloaded to MCU so that I need to just verify the MCU and debug can work. It is pure hardware test.

Hello everyone! Is it possible to initialize an I2S interface using LL drivers? There is only one option in the CubeMX (project manager->advanced settings): HAL. Other peripherals (for example I2C, TIM, USART, SPI) have 2 options HAL/LL. Is it any sense to use LL with I2S at all? Thanks for response!

Hello, my question implies that there is no value for TS_CAL2 available for the STM32G070, although its reference manual RM0454 describes it on page 292 (14.9 Temperature sensor and internal reference voltage: Reading the temperature). Since there is also TS_CAL2 not mentioned in the data sheet, I could also ask: what is the right address in system memory for TS_CAL2? When I take the address from a STM32G071 device an calculate with this value in my STM32G070RB the temperature value makes no sense...

HI,I'm using STM32f4 and I'm trying to calculate rotation speed using Hall sensors.Idea is to use TIM4 and 3 Hall sensors in 3 channels in caputre compare mode to calculate time between two edges. I know how to do that, but the problem is that I need information about the falling or rising edge to know on what angle is rotor.I need angle to calculate rotation speed, the difference between to captures will never be exactly 60 deegres. I' am also planing to do calibration of hall sensors to know angle precisely .So is it possible to detect rising/falling edge using timer or is there some other way to do it ?Thanks,Domagoj.
