Hi,I'm trying to evaluate IIS2ICLX sensor with this board connecting to a 3rd party MCU board, what's the best way to connect it via I2C? I see on MKI209V1 schematics there are 2 pull up resistors already on SDA/SCL, which supposed to be connected to VDDIO (as per IIS2ICLX docs), but where are the contacts for SDA/SCL to connect to 3rd party MCU board? An example connection would be appreciated.Thanks.

Hi, We have a custom board with onboard eMMC which is connected on SDMMC2 lines: SDMMC2_D0 - PB14 SDMMC2_D1 - PB15 SDMMC2_D2 - PB3 SDMMC2_D3 - PB4 SDMMC2_D4 - PB8 SDMMC2_D5 - PB9 SDMMC2_D6 - PC6 SDMMC2_D7 - PC7 SDMMC2_CMD - PG6 SDMMC2_CLK - PE3 These pins are not all default pins for SDMMC2 so I'm interested if there is a way to program this eMMC using DFU mode with Cube Programmer. Is there a way to change pins which are used for programming? Best regards, Nenad

I have been spending a few hours debugging my STM32G431KB Nucleo USART2 Rx not working and have found that the chip pin PA3 is not wired to the header A2 (or 11). Tx on PA2 (A7/5) works fine.Am I missing something? I ended having to solder a wire directly to SB12 in order to receive data on that pin (after removing SB12 and SB1)Do I just have a bad board?

Hello community,I am working on a STM32L562CETx micro-processor and testing out basic functions. I only use the internal oscillators, no external is connected.I managed to en-/disable GPIO output pins to drive LEDs etc successfully. The Problem is:Using HAL_Delay does not work. It freezes forever, this is because the systick seems not increase. I could not figure out ahy systick is not increasingThan I changed the timebase to Timer1/Timer4/Timer7/etc. to check if it works with a timer, and the program freezes as soon as it tries to configure the timer as timebase. After that, I created a completely empty new project, with only the stm32l562ce selected. I have only enabled the Timer4 with internal source. The program hangs, as soon as I execute the line HAL_TIM_Base_Start_IT(&htim4);When I step through each line in that particular function, I can step through the whole function, the timer is running (I checked it with live-register view). But after the step-out of the function, any ne

Hi,I use the STM32L431 microcontroller and a st-link debugger. The code that I want to use on the microcontroller is divided in 5 projects. Each code is flashed on an assigned flash memory area defined on the linker script:Project 1:MEMORY{ FLASH  (rx)  : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 0x00000200 RAM  (xrw)  : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 0x00010000}Project 2:MEMORY{ FLASH  (rx)  : ORIGIN = 0x08000200, LENGTH = 0x00001F00 RAM  (xrw)  : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 0x00010000}Etc.In order to flash the microcontroller, I build the 5 project then concatenate the binary output. Then, I program the microcontroller with the STM32 ST-LINK Utility.I'm able to enter in debug mode in the first project (which is starting at 0x08000000) without erasing the rest of the flash memory by disabling "Download" in Debug configurations -> Startup. However, I am not able to find how to do the same with the

I am aware I am using a slight outdated version and so apologise if this fix has already been implemented. When selecting a Custom HID Class under the middleware tab there is no option to enable or disable the USBD_SUPPORT_USER_STRING parameter, and is then set to 1 by default after generating code. This resulted in a 2 day headache trying to debug why my device was hard faulting!During enumeration if this parameter is set to 1 Windows will ask for a special descriptor, if this descriptor has not been coded/provided then the device will throw a hard fault.

I am implementing a USBPD application, using the NUCLEO-G474RE example of x-cube-usbpdm1 (it is called TCPP01_Consumer).The example works fine, but I am a bit confused as to where all the peripherals are initalized. The MX init functions are generated, but in the example project STM32CubeMX was configured to NOT generate a function call.I have found the place where the ADC and the GPIO pins are initalized, however, I can't find out where UCPD1, DMA or LPUART1 are initalized.I am quite sure that the init functions generated by STM32CubeMX are never called by the example code. Where are these peripherals initalized?

Hi,I'm using NFC reader chip ST25R3916 and the library STSW-ST25R016 on a Nucleo 64 dev board. To get started I compiled the polling example. I want to be able to detect and activate multiple tags, one by one. In demo_polling.c, I changed discParam.devLimit to 5. After that change, it will detect that I put two tags on the reader. It will select the first tag in the device list and print the ID for that tag. Instatic void demoNotif( rfalNfcState st )it will select the first tag (rfalNfcSelect(0)). How can I halt that tag and select the next tag? How can I get the main state to RFAL_NFC_STATE_POLL_SELECT as for to let rfalNfcSelect(1) to work? Thanks!

Hi,I am working with STM32H743ZII was configuring GPIO output pins and I have to define "speed" which I assume is related to opamp slew rate. But I have a problem with the units, I can choose between "Very high", "High", "Medium", "Low". After reading the GPIO section of the reference manual I still don't know what these terms are referring to. Perhaps "Very High" = sysclk/2 and "High" = sysclk/4 etc.Regards,Gabriel

Hi,I've designed a custom board with two ST25R3916 and one STM32G0 MCU to control them using one SPI interface and two chip-select lines (CS1 and CS2). The problem is I'm able to send a SPI byte to one of the ST25R3916 devices (through CS, CLK, MOSI lines) but I have not response on the MISO line (it remains at high-impedance)The design is based on DISCO and NUCLEO boards with ST25R3916I've checked the power lines on my custom board and everything seems correct. The I2C_EN is tied to GND to enable the SPI communicationHow can I check if the ST25R3916 is running?regards, gaston

Hi,I'm trying to program a 32-bit STM32 Cortex-m4 MCU (specifically STM32L4P5ZGT6P).I'm using v 4.6.0 of ST-Link Utility, and I've tried both an ST-Link V2, and an ST-link V3, both with latest firmware. Both succeed at connecting (reading) the MCU, but I can neither wrote firmware, or delete the chip. Both give me the error. So my question is: Why does ST-link Utility 4.6.0 not work? Is this program obsolete?Edit: I forgot to mention, I am not even using an elf fi

Hi,I'm working on STM32F407 board, and trying to enable ethernet with ThreadX + Netxduo. I referred several successful cases for the porting, and did everything I can do, but it's not pingable at all. I did some debug, and found the ETH_IRQHandler is never triggered, what's more, I can see the register "DMASR" shows "Bit 4 ROS: Receive overflow status" always is 1, and both green and orange LEDs are on.I checked every setting in the code, like RMII setting for LAN8720, enabling interrupt ETH_IRQn, but nothing help. To confirm it's not a wiring issue, I tried some example code with LwIP, it's working well.Could anyone provide suggestion what I can check? Thanks,Xiaofeng

I used SPI_DMA to transfer data by function HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA()。It is OK。I find it used interrupt. and it can be not changed to uninterrupted mode. Now I hope not use interrupt, how do I?

Hi,I try to find the RCC and the GPIO register for the STM32l432KBU, but cant find it in the datasheet. i dont know if i'm looking wrong but i just cant find it. I need the Registers to enable the uart. Thanks for reading:grinning_face: !!bye,

Use STM32L051C8T6 for low-power design. In standby mode, RTC is used to wake up. The RTC clock is internal 37K clock. After 1Hz frequency division, the program sets 180s to wake up. As a result, it wakes up at 160s. Please ask if there is a problem with the configuration.

I have 6 VL53L3CX sensors connected via the same I²C bus. For this reason, the I²C address of each sensor must be changed as described in the UM2778 User's Guide.Does this procedure have to be carried out each time the device is restarted or disconnected from the power supply, or will the new address of the sensor be permanently saved? Many thanks in advance.
