Hello!I want to put on screen box, iamge or other rectangular object.I want to catch event when this object is clicked and read coordinates of click. How to do it?At first i tried read coordinates after clicking button. I added iteraction to button, which start c++ function GET_TOUCH()#include <STM32TouchController.hpp>   void GET_TOUCH()   {   uint32_t x,y;   // Override and implement this function in OPTIONS_SCREEN   STM32TouchController::sampleTouch(x,y);   }I got error"../touchgfx/gui/src/options_screen_screen/options_screenview.cpp(115): error: #245: a nonstatic member reference must be relative to a specific object@"How to call sampleTouch(x,y) correctly?

Hi,I want to use the VEREFINT to get the voltage of my battery. According to the formula provided by the datasheet (screenshot attached), I need the VREFINT calibration value and the VREFINT_DATA.What is the register to read the calibration value from? I didn't find this in the datasheet. The same for the VREFINT_DATA. For the VREFINT_DATA I think it's stored in the specific data address VREFINT_Factory_CONV byte but I do not find in the datasheet what this address is.

Hello,I am working with the evaluation board STM32L412 Nucluo64, but I noticed that the MCU sends only garbage from UART.The code I am using has been used many times in other projects and should work fine (it's just a matter of calling LL_UART_TransmitData8 and wait for transfer complete).Just tested on a STM32L4 Nucleo (STM32L432KC), same setup for both boards and works fine.Do someone has an idea of what could be wrong ? Thanks.s.

So far I have been using VCP in my project for about six months with no problems. But today I found it was not able to send a specific 'packet' of bytes. Here is the SWV printf output from STM32CubeIDE:Sending 10 bytes 255 254 5 0 19 0 0 0 24 106Note the 19, which is the actual main content of the message. The first two bytes are a message header, last two bytes are a checksum. Now here's what I receive on the computer (Fedora Linux, libserialport)Read 9 bytes  255  254  5  0  0  0  0  24  106The 19 is missing. If I change it to 18 or 20 there is no problem, and I cannot find any other numbers which cause a problem, only 19. This is 100% repeatable, not an occasional problem.I am sending using CDC_Transmit_FS which returns 0 (USBD_OK).On the computer I'm using sp_nonblocking_read, which returns 9.Docs for the libserialport function:https://www.sigrok

Hi, i would like to know where exactly at the magnetic sensor (LSM303D) the magnetic field is measured. We want to locate the exact position of magnet using multiple of these sensors, there for need to know where the value in the sensor is measured?

Hello, I'm using an stm32l496rgt (64 pins). When I set SD 4 bits wide bus on SDMMC I noted that the code created set SDMMC_BUS_WIDE_1B instead of 4B.In this configuration the sd card doesn't work, it works only with 1 bit bus.4 bits data bus works properly in stm32l4r5zit6p (144 pins). Is there a problem on 64 pin version?Best Regards

Hi,I have created a CubeMx project for STM32F042K6. I am using following components:USBTSCIWDGGPIOTOUCHSENSINGUSB_DEVICEI just defined the pins and tried to compile but compiler says FLASH overflows around 2.5KI didn't even write one line of code. Then I realized USB HID library takes a lot of space (around 21K) on the FLASH. How can I reduce this size? Is there anyway to use it as Keyboard+Mouse without using entire library? Or is there any 'Lite' libray for USB HID?Thanks

Is there a drop in replacement available for this part?

The STM32 IDE project shows some "default" mapping to use in the U[S]ART1-6. For example, UART1 has PA9(TX) and PA10(RX). Are these GPIO pins fixed? Can any be used? Is there any restriction on which pin can be used with which UART block? In particular, we have an STM32F407.Thanks,Marco

Hi,In my program (running on STM32F446RE, with 512 KB flash and 128 KB SRAM) I defined two big arrays:int main(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ int16_t data_in[64000]; int16_t audio_buffer[16000];The code can run normally when the data_in array is not there. However, when the variable data_in is defined, the program will just encounter hard fault and exit abnormally.Since these variables will be changed throughout the program I can't define them as constants. May I ask what should I do in order to fix this problem?Thank you.

i want bto use sprintf() in my application what libraries i have to use

I found that the UBoot env stored at the same address as the bootfs, which caused emMC to fail to start the kernelEnv and Uboot are both at 0x280000 addresses,

Also, are there libraries or example codes that we can use in our STM32 microcontroller, for specific applications like body movement detection ?

I am unable to generate code to stm32 MCUs by using this cube mx v6.1.0 my pc is 64 bit and I installed jre-8u91-windows-x64.exe version.I am getting Copying libraries files error to every controller, check in attached screen shot once.

Is it possible to have two versions of CubeMX installed (or otherwise used) on one Windows-PC?My problem is, that an older project used Atollic, and that still needs to be supported. For another project I installed CubeIDE that wanted a newer CubeMX version (6.x). The Atollic used CubeMX 5.x. Now CubeMX 5.6 can't open a ioc-file made with CubeIDE (CubeMX 6.x), and if I just open the ioc-file created with CubeMX 5.x with CubeMX 6.x, the code generation produces code that doesn't work (at least interrupt priorities get set to zero in the ioc-file even if the project is not saved). It's quite annoying having to re-install CubeMX each time I have to change the project to work with. At least if I need to even open the ioc-file.

I originaly added the CubeMX NFC firmware module and made a few builds with that library. Then I removed the NFC component and now every time I generate the code the folders lib_nfc\Target and lib_nfc are added to project resulting in a few warning.I have to manualy remove the paths from build settings, but every code generation they are added again.Someone can indicate me where I can switch off this behavior?

Hello, i have found some bugsI can't select the external 32 khz osc . ---the input field of the User Label have some problemsedit this fields don't work properlyCTRL + c/v don’t work

Hello, I'm no longer able to find the X-CUBE-IKA02A1 package on the ST site. I see that the status says it's active, but the software download section states "No data available in table".Could you point me to where I can download the package, I got a P-NUCLEO-IKA02A1 board and I cannot find examples for it?Thanks,Anton.

Can you provide the formula for calculating the tag RSSI as displayed on the RFID Reader suite application? I don't know how this is derived from the log I&Q bytes. Does the receiver gain value have to be added in as well?

Hi ST CommunityI am using a default MotorControl setup with the B-G431B-ESC1 board and a BLDC motor with hall sensors. The project is generated using MC Workbench with default values. I am having a hard time to decipher the value provided by the function MC_GetPhaseCurrentAmplitudeMotor1. I am familiar with the conversion from the format S16A to Amps, but still get wrong readings. The amplifying network gain setup is also default with values matching the resistors on the board. The overall network gain is hence 9.14. When converting the value to Amps, I get values far from what I can read from the power supply. When setting up the motor (using values inherited from motor profiler) the nominal current is set to 3.29A. With this settings I can almost not run the motor with a "high" load (0.5+ Nm). I need to increase this value to 10A+ in order to archive a torque of ie. 2Nm. which on the power supply is requiring far less than 10A. This test is done with no load on startup but adding loa

Hello, lets say i have more than one project in a lifetime. How can i use CubeMonitor to use different Projects? Its very weired that all flows are linked together in any way. Why is it not as the old tool STM Studio, there you can create a own project for every MCU project you want. Then you can copy and share this project to anyone else. I think i like CubeMonitor and maybe i am just to stupid, but for me it seems much to complicated to use this tool with different projects. (fast switch between them)Any help for me?;)Thanx

I am evaluating the SMARTAG1. What I am trying to figure out is, what is the best way to handle measurement event while there is an NFC field. I have noticed in the implementation of SMARTAG1 firmware, that you are neglecting counting up the time once a synchronization event occurs if there is filed rising, which will effect the time stamp to be off by the time that tag was under RF field. I want to know if I want to have stable Synchronization time events even if NFC filed is detected, what is the best way to handle it?For example: I want to record a measurement every 10 seconds. I start logging at 13:00:00 next at 13:00:10 , then I had NFC field for 3 second, my next measurement is logged at 13:00:23 instead of 13:00:20.Is there a way to handle this issue in a better way?Thank you very much for your help and your ideas.

Hello Friends and ST engineer.I am controlling BLDC motor using STSW-SPIN3204 firmware with Hall Sensor. But some functions I do not understand, please explain more detail for me.HAL_TIM_OC_DelayElapsedCallback: what is this function for? why we use output compare in input capture with hall sensor.MC_TIMx_SixStep_CommutationEvent(): @brief: Capture the counter value for which the hall sensors status changed and set the delay at which the HF_TIMx will change according to the new hall status value and hence new step.I do not understand this function for what? please tell more detail for meIf you have the detail document, please giveThank you so much.Best regards.
