Specifically, I'm looking for the minimum board configuration that will run in STM32CubeIDE, and an explanation of what the minimum settings are and in which memory space the firmware runs in. Is there a project in the STM32 library that unconditionally works without (much) tweaking?(I made a copy of the original firmware. It works. I can reflash it all day, and it works. But that's not why I bought the board.)

Hello!I have code, working with FatFS in system area of my project.main.cres = f_opendir(&dir, "0:/"); while(1) { res = f_readdir(&dir, &fileInfo); if (res==FR_OK && fileInfo.fname[0]) { fn = fileInfo.fname; // ... some code } else break; } f_closedir(&dir);And I have scrollList widget, where I want to show filelist. How can I send list of filenames to widget by Model->Presenter->View ?Create array filelist[65535][256] , and send it to view - is not good idea...Step by step sending command from View to System which everytime calls " res = f_readdir(&dir, &fileInfo); ", gets filename, and asks next filename again - is better, but still not good. Can I call res = f_opendir(&dir, "0:/"), and send variable "dir" to view? May be I can #include "fatfs.h" in STORAGE_SCREENView.cpp and work with FatFS from View? What can you advise for me?

Hello i created a custom external loader following this guide. My check code in the main (see the video) works. I can read in memory mapped mode, i can write and i can erase sectors and full chip.I can write to it simple bin files using stM32 Programmer, but, when i try to upload a touchGFX application (created following this video) the programmer say error "Error: failed to download Segment[1]". Hello,My company is using since more than one year the HTS221 component, in several thousands of units. On really few parts, we observe that the HTS221 sensor is stuck in a not ready state: we request its status before reading its output data registers to make sure the sensor has new measured values to send. We have not identified any specific environmental pattern that would produce such a bug. Here is the configuration:CTRL_REG1: BDU =1 and ODR1,ODR2 = 11 (12.5Hz)All other configuration registers are in default configuration state (we do not configure them, only CTRL_REG1 is initialized). We measure thanks to an interruption the output registers every second (yes, than why a 12.5Hz outpute data rate ? I will change it to 1Hz but this shouldn't be the reason of the stuck issue, shouldn't it ?)And if the sensor has not any data ready (status register H_DA and T_DAT are equals to 0), we send every millisecond a new reading command to its status register. After 800 iterations (about 800ms),

From the STM32L011K4 datasheet, it appears PC14 and PC15 can be used as GPIO outputs as long as OSC32 is not used. Has anyone else done this before? I'd like to drive two LEDs at 3.3V, trying to make a simple sample program to confirm if this is possible now.

Hello!I have built simple project for Nucleo H745ZI-Q board. It is UDP echo server. I have configured MPU, linker script and other things - it works fine. But after power cycle I have no any connection by ethernet while link notification is still working. Reset button does not help. It is working only after I reprogram flash memory by CubeIDE.Also I made memory dump by Cube Programmer. In both cases the memory dumps are identical.H7 lib version is 1-8-0.Best regards,Anton Elkind

Hello,I have got an industrial PCB with a STM8S207RBT6. I'm able to READ programm memory, data memory and option bytes with ST Visual Programmer and STLink V2.Also I can write data memory and option bytes. But if I try to write program memory I get an error:"Programming failed. Device is write protected. Check by values."But in by value I can't find anything about write protection. Only read out protection, which is turned off.Option bytes are set to:000102000000000000Any advice for my problem?RegardsChris

Is there a number / measure for the linearity of the LSM9DS1 gyro across the 0-360deg range ?I mean, how much 1deg measured at 0deg orientation is the same as 1deg measured at 90deg orientation ?Thanks

Hi all,I'm runnig the example 'OpenAMP_TTY_echo_wakeup' on a STM32MP157C-DK2. My question is regarding the Option 5) in the readme. Here we put the system into standby and wake the CA7 up then. Afterwards there is no FW running no the CM4.My Question: Is it also possible to exit the standby mode from the CM4 while the CA7 is still in standby? I mean in a way that the CM4 FW is still there and running?ThanksKlaas

Hi,I'm using the IKS01A3 board on a P-NUCLEO-WB55 board with the example application IKS01A3 DataLogTerminal. Some questions:where is the mapping from GPIO numbers (0 through 15) to pin names on the micro (STM32WB55 in QFN68 package)? I have the board schematic which shows port names e.g. PA0, etc. but the example code refers to GPIO numbers. I can't find the mapping from GPIO numbers to pin/port names.I'm trying to see all of the LIS2DW12 sensor data, not just a 1s sample as done in the MX_IKS01A3_DataLogTerminal_Process function in the app_mems.ca file. I can't see where the interrupt service routine reads the sensor and writes it into the IKS01A3_MOTION_SENSOR_Axes_t data structure. Thanks for helping a newbie!Jim TompkinsHalifax, Canada

I would like to refer to the operation of the GUI in order to optimize the reception function. It is written in the UM2268 User manual."In the Diagnostic Sweep Function panel it is possible to run a reflected power sweep measurements across the select frequency range, or scan for the presence of an external carrier."In the diagnostic sweep function, what kind of direct command is the MCU sending or writing a register? What is the procedure for the diagnostic sweep function?also, How long does the procedure wait to read the register?Thank you in advance

Hello all,I have received a .patch file (modification) for a SourceCode. How do I import this file directly to my SourceCode without manually changing the line changes described in it in the SourceCode. Is there a way to simply import this .patch file and the adjustment happens automatically? Thanks for your feedback.

Hi,To configure my uart baud rate i use a variable on cube MX. To disable error i select "no check" in option --> that work find on previous version. Now with version 6.1.1 the error stay even if i select "no check" with the version 6.1.1.If you have an idea how to solve it !

This pedometer function can count steps after the first ten steps.  The first ten steps is defalt and the application note said it can be change other value. I have found I should set up ****_DEB_STEPS_CONF register. But I don't know how to do that. I just found the register address in the code but there is no value for change. How can I set it?

I checked the Application note "AN5561", VL53L3CX maximum ranging performance improvements. I had a question about "1.3 Maximum ranging distance".The performance of Medium distance mode seems to be better than the one of Long distance mode. I thought these tables were exchanged .Is it correct the spec of Table 1? The distance of Medium distance mode is longer than the one of Long distance mode? Thanks at advance

Hello Guys.In the current state, when connecting the LAN cable and attempting to connect to the board's IP by SSH, it has been confirmed that the connection is immediately established. It is thought that anyone can access the board in this state. So I need to change root passwordHowever, there are no guidelines for how to do this on the WiKi Page. How can I change root password of STM32MP1?

Posted on March 04, 2018 at 18:27I can connect a STM32L073 via USB in in DFU mode to STM32CubeProgrammer but i can not programm the uController. Reading device Memory and option bytes work, but programming does not. What I do is:       Select a Hex file      Enable verify      Verbosity level to 3      Start ProgrammingNow I got Verification Error and erasing sectors does not work. See end of this post or Please See Output Log file. It shows up like the programm has been updated, but it was not. There is still the old programm starting. Option Bytes shows that there is no write protection enabled. It should not be that difficult !?Please STM team, could someone of your dev team grab a STM32L073 Nucleo board and try to program it via USB DFU and post a step by step solution?STM32CubeProgrammer Output:08:06:13 : data: 210000f81f08:06:13 : Memory Programming ...08:06:13 : Openeing and

Hello community,I wrote program that use MEM to PER transfer, HALF WORD mode (16 bit). DMA transfers are clocked by TIM1. MCU is stm32f103c8t6 @ 72Mhz on "Blue Pill" board. As final result I got 16 bit sample values on PORTB at 360kHz speed. It seems too low . Theoretically I read that MCU can perform DMA transfers on about 40% of clock speed, which mean about 30MHz. What are DMA speed which you reached and where can be my mistake?

Generator create this part not exist in touchgfx project file. But is fine have it here for direct compile and flash. Why this isnt used? Howto add make ... flash here manualy?

Solution: Just like TDK said, PC13 pin is active high (can be seen below).Original q:Hello everyone,I and a few other friends of mine all ordered Nucleo 64-F103RB board, it comes with 32F103RBTx MCU. We did worked before ST MCU's (like 4-DISCO boards 407VG and such) and we know how GPIO Input works. This time when we wrote a basic input command something was off. System works completely opposite of it is supposed to work.Code and settings are this. Normally led on the board isn't supposed to blink on it's own but it is doing that on all boards. We have changed the input pin but it didn't worked. (it somehow started to work with PC3 but still fails to work with PC13). Schematics of the board also reveal that it is a normally open button.I'm not sure why all boards are doing this weird thing. Same code (when uploaded to 407VG) doesn't do this but wait for an input (in that case also the blue user button). What is wrong with the system ?

Ok, so I decided to change from Arduino IDE (STM32F103) to STM32CubeIDE (STM32F334R8).I can't get perfect timing.My program just have to toogle my pin after x us (that is presented inside a vector)Just to illustrate, here is my arduino code (I only get 1us of error):// Function called when overflow count is detected void Update_IT_callback(void){ // Tootlge pin digitalWrite(pin, !digitalRead(pin)); // This loop is just because I need to repeat it if (id_vector >= aux_signalsize){ id_vector = 0; loop_count++; if (loop_count >= size_loop){ MyTim->pause(); MyTim->refresh(); loop_count = 0; } }   // Set wait time in us to next toogle MyTim->setOverflow(aux_signal[id_vector++], MICROSEC_FORMAT); }And here is my HAL code (I get 2.3us error).void TIM1_UP_TIM16_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM1_UP_TIM16_IRQn 0 */ HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(RF_Pin_GPIO_Port, RF_Pin_Pin);   if (vector_run == vector_max){ vector_run = 0; if (repeat_id == repeat){

Hello,I am facing a strange issue with STM32G0 RTC. As soon as I initialize RTC, it generates an interrupt and it never comes out of the interrupt.
