Hi,I have implemented a hardware button that changed the screen displayed. It works fine when using the hardware.I also want it to work with the simulator using the computer keyboard.I think it is what the "Choose button key" in TouchGFX is for (correct me if I am wrong). In the .touchgfx file I added the following:"PhysicalButtons": [ { "Key": 0, "Name": "PwrSwitch" } ],Then in screen interaction:When running the simulator, I was hoping that by clicking on the computer keyboard "0" key, the interaction would be triggered. I tried both "0" key on the keyboard but nothing happens. Please let me know if I am missing something.Franck.Config:MCU: STM32H743CubeMx: 6.1.1CubeIDE: 1.5.1Firmware Package: FW_H7 1.8.0

Hello Gals/Guys. I recently purchased a NUCLEO-F439ZI after playing around with F0-DISCOVERY. As is tradition, I wanted to make a LED blink. I have failed miserably. I started in CubeMX to for the initial setup using all the defaults. Using the ST IDE I put the following in the main loop. Nothing happens. The same process works fine on my F0-DISCOVERY.  HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOB, LD1_Pin);  HAL_Delay(5000);I have no idea where to start trouble shooting this madness. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. One thing I have noticed when executing is the TX/RX lights are constantly flashing. /* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "main.h"   /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */   /* USER CODE END Includes */   /* Private typedef -----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN PTD */   /* USER CODE EN

Dear community members,I wanted to use keyboard API but yet haven't found any "how to" for using this API. I know that there is an example in designer, but the codes are really advanced. Even the API documents are not going to make it easy to use (at least for me).Any help would be appreciated, at least any clue that ease the start of using this API.

I'm working on project that is including ADC, timers and virtual UART. I'm working on STM32MP157C-DK2 board. So I started from example OpenAMP_FreeRTOS_echo from CubeMP1 software package v1.2.0. I'm using CubeIDE v1.4.0. When I reboot STM32MP1 and debug for the first time after reboot, and place breakpoint into HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback function in which HAL_IncTick is called, everything is fine and the program is stopping here. Problem is that when I debug for the second time (and software on M4 is stopped before 2nd debug) program is not stopping on breakpoint and the HAL tick is not getting incremented. The code is not being modified, it is the same as in examples. On boot I choose the device tree number 3 which is used for M4 examples. Question is why is this happening and do I need to reboot the board every time I want to debug? Thanks in advance,Nenad

Hello.Reffering to AN4207(Doc ID 023945 Rev 1) Single ended zero reference mode (Page 9):This mode injects an input common mode of half scale to the ADC thus maintaining the dynamic range the same as in differential mode (-32767 to +32767). In this mode, the injected common mode is dependent on gain variations. The formula is: Vin = SDADCx_AINyP = (ReadData + 32767) * Vref/(gain x 65535)I suspect here is a mistake. There should be -32768 (0x8000) instead of -32767 (0x8001).And the formula should apply offset 32768 to ReadData.Or how to explan SDADC_GetInjectedConversionValue() returning 0x8000 in case of connecting ADC input to ground?

I use STM32F103CB in my project. but I found timer interrupt fastest time can't less than 1us. Timer prescaler is 0, up counter mode, counter period is 36, no inernal clock division and auto-reload enable. When timer interrupt occur. I set Pin high and low in turn. But the output time from the pin is 1us./* TIM2 init function */void MX_TIM2_Init(void){ TIM_ClockConfigTypeDef sClockSourceConfig = {0}; TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef sMasterConfig = {0}; htim2.Instance = TIM2; htim2.Init.Prescaler = 0; htim2.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; htim2.Init.Period = 36; htim2.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; htim2.Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_ENABLE; if (HAL_TIM_Base_Init(&htim2) != HAL_OK) {  Error_Handler(); } sClockSourceConfig.ClockSource = TIM_CLOCKSOURCE_INTERNAL; if (HAL_TIM_ConfigClockSource(&htim2, &sClockSourceConfig) != HAL_OK) {  Error_Handler();

I want to ensure that the user fits our portable battery powered radar onto the back of a vehicle in the correct orientation. I want to monitor this using an accelerometer, I am considering using the LIS2DH12 but I'm not sure if this is suitable and therefore need help in selecting an accelerometer. Also I did look at using the ADXL345 from Analog devices but don't understand why there is a huge price difference when compared to the LIS2DH12.

I want to copy ethernet part of the STM32H750 Discovery board. But I could not find the Schematics. And what is the manufacturer's type of the ethernet connector?

I want to keep 2 application files inside the flash and jump to either using a command. When using the STM32 cubeIDE for development, the .bin file is generated under debug folder. I couldn't find the .hex file though. I want to know what is the metadata that is included in the .bin file and where they are. In one of the documents I read, it said the first address contains the magic number, then firmware size, firmware header size, and so on. How can I know exactly what are they and where it is stored in a firmware file. thank you

Hi,I’m using STM32L476VGT6 device with external flash memory in QPI mode. Everything works fine until I try to send a command byte with no address and no data. For example, when I try to send the command 0xF5 (exit QPI mode), on the logic analyzer I can see that line IO1 is not controlled by the MCU and stays low. But with the same configuration, when I add address byte everything works well again. It looks like with just command byte sent, line IO1 stays in MISO mode instead of QPI mode.Pinout of the logic analyzer: CS – 6 CLK – 4 IO0 – 7 IO1 – 5 IO2 – 3 IO3 – 2Sending command 0xF5 with no address and no data. I programmed the STM32L151RET6 to gives the RTC interrupt using line EXTI20. The system is waking-up from sleep mode at every second, it execute a small code and left the interrupt. For example:void RTC_IRQ_Handler(void){ // { my code here } //   PWR->CR |= PWR_CR_DBP;         //   RTC->ISR &= ~RTC_ISR_WUTF;      //  PWR->CR &= ~PWR_CR_DBP;   //   EXTI_ClearPendingExti20();}The interrup is working but I have few seconds delay/day.The flag RTC_ISR_WUTF can be erase only if the flag PWR_CR_DBP is set before. The RTC clock is working well if I don't use the interrupt. If I let always the flag PWR_CR_DBP set, the interrupt is executed but the RTC clock is stoped. THe date and time are freeze. If the flag RTC_ISR_WUTF is not reset inside of interrupt routine the interrupt is executed only once (it's normal). The RTC clock which I used

I have a question,I have no any USB-OTG interface can be used to help me burning and I can only use SD card to run my board. How can I make this SD-Card work only on linux command lines for example "dd" and so on. I have made tf-a uboot kernel(image) dtb and rootfs. I wish someone can help me ,thank you so much.

HiI need a big heap for some json parsing. How do I re-locate the heap into SDRAM? Obviously this needs to happen fairly late in the initialisation sequence once the SDRAM has been set up and initialised. Is there an equivalent of __set_MSP() ?Thanks

Dear all, first I have to say that I am new to STM32F7 mirocontrollers, but I am not new to ARM-Cortex M4/M7 based controllers in general, nor the lwIP stack nor FreeRTOS.I have the following two problems:SMT32F767ZI + lwIP + FreeRTOS: I tried to build a simple application using the lwIP+FreeRTOS (on a Nucleo-F767ZI board) using STM32CubeIDE (1.5.1). I set up a new project, configured my MCU and tried to ping my board. This, indeed, does not really work. There is a reply to the ping response, but it is a kind of "mysterious" data (a lot of 5s, which looks like a part of the synchronization sequenz of ethernet frame, but this should not be catched by Wireshark, see the attached file). I debugged the lwIP stack down to the point, where the response is sent and I have to say that even the data, which are referenced by the DMA transmit descriptors, seem to be OK (it is not the sequenz of the 5s, which is seen in Wireshark). Is there anybody, who has ever encountered such a problem? As PING

Hi everybody,I'm currently working with STM32CubeMX on manjaro linux. I downloaded the X-CUBE-AI Artificial Intelligence v5.2.0 package directly from the Embedded Software Packages Manager. I'm primarily interested in the stm32ai command-line interface, problem is, it just isn't there. According to the documentation in command_line_interface.html, the stm32ai application should be found in X-CUBE-AI/5.2.0/Utilities/linux. However, the Utilities/ folder is missing. I tried installing older versions of X-CUBE-AI (5.1.2 and 5.0.0) and I also tried downloading the extension from the website instead of STM32CubeMX: nothing!Any hint will be appreciated.Michele

I want used QSPI flash running program. W25Q64, used stldr file is ok,but always have problem,Build error，region FLASH overflowed by 31220bytes，I have a big photo array, more than internal flash 128k,I search before post，change this flash.ld file?I have no idea.Could you please help me?Thanks!!

I ordered the STM32H757 EVAL expecting to have some example projects but when you download the H7 package there is nothing that is ready to go for the H757.  The H7 package only has the H747.

I am following a Udemy course and we are learning to make a driver from scratch. I know, not practical, but it has taught me how it can be done and helped learn how to read the datasheet better. Anyway, I have written the below code to write to the RCC and FLASH registers to configure the clock. Though how can I test this? I tried to toggle an output pin on and off and it seemed terribly slow, around 1.4MHz. I am manipulating the register for the output directly as well. Any hints for this 32 bit beginner?https://pastebin.com/9NkF34Hhhttps://pastebin.com/QenbnU12

Hello,I'd like use several gpio buttons to onboard CN2 connector (STM gpios PF0, PF1, PF3, PF4, PF6, PF8). So I've add following string to stm32mp157c-dk2.dts filebuttonkeys {      compatible = "gpio-keys";      left-key {         label="Left key";         gpios=<&gpiof 0 GPIO_ACTIVE_LOW>;         linux,code=<105>;               };evtest gives me multiple events (press/release) when key not pressed. So what is cause of this and how to correct add gpio processing? Thanks,Alex

I'm using the temperature sensor in LSM6DSRX.In page 12 (4.3 Temperature sensor characteristics) of the Datasheet (see the image), what is "Toff" (Temperature Offset)? The Table 4 gives a range of -15 to +15 C for Toff, what is this range for? The Table also gives the operating range of -40 to +85 C. I was wondering how to use "Toff" in calculating the temperature ?Thanks for any help!

The STEVAL-MKI197V1 has standard breadboard pins on it. The muRata dk (WSM-BL241-ADA-008DK) has available connection points in position JP4 - looks like the right place to attach. Is there a ribbon cable or adapter to connect these two boards together?? thank you! (see photos)

RTC used the LSE with 32768Hz oscillator and is configured for this option. While DBP bit is set RTC counter is stopped . Is it true or false?

I've used a number of times LSM6DSL IMU sensors and I never had any problem with them: they are in general very precise and straightforward to use. However, in a recernt pre-production run, some accelerometers provided strange values on one or two axes compared to the usual values. In these conditions (stationary board in horizontal position) the expected values on two axes should be close to 0 g, i.e. raw values in the range of about +-200 for a full scale of 16 g. This happen with most units, but on some others (identical firmware, identical boards) we get much greater values, something like >5000 or even >16000, that, by the way, are normally sensitive to the self test stimuli. The problem seems to be only in the accelerometer values: other functions work correclty. My question is: are these values something "normal", that can/must be corrected through calibration (with the offset registers or in firmware)? Or have I to assume that these devices have been simply damaged during
