Solved

Dear all,I used STMStudio until today to watch multiples values in real time.Today i want to use STM32CubeMonitor and it seems a very interesting tool. However i don't find a quick way to visualize multiple variables values in a array like STMstudio allowed it.The only solution i found today is to get my variables, then perform a switch to get only one variable and disply each variable with a text : My text node content to display the variable and its value is : Is there a better way ? Indeed, with this solution, if i have to display 50 variables i need to put 50 text nodes on my page. With STMStudio it was really easier. I think there is a better solution i don't know.Best regards,

The 'Debug' Build Configuration in the B-072Z-LRWAN1 Ping-Pong example does not define the DEBUG symbol. This means that you cannot debug the DEBUG configuration!Who on earth thought that was a good idea?!:persevering_face:If you do want to debug, you must add 'DEBUG' to the list of preprocessor defined symbols in Project Properties: See also: https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009bNTmPSAW/pingpong-example-from-icubelrwan-software-not-working-on-bl072zlrwan1 - 3 years ago!

I'm working on a bootloader which needs to erase and program the Flash. The erase seems to be 'working' but I have a suspicion that I'm not waiting long enough for the 'Busy' bit to go active after setting the 'Start' bit. The reference manual says I need to poll for 'Busy' to go active in the pseudo code, but leaves it to the user to code a timeout. Can anyone give me the timings for the Flash status register as I can't find it in the data sheet?

Hi,I'm having an issue which I can't seem to resolve:I'm trying to change the output value of Pin9 (Port C) through an interrupt routine (TIM3).If I put a simple XOR statement for this pin in the interrupt routine it works as expected. However if I try to load in values from an array the output starts to become inconsistent. This is best seen in the attached screenshots from the oscilloscope.I have checked in debug mode how many cycles there are between writes to the pin which is pretty consistent for both (40 for xor, 70 for array load). Why is there then a difference between the length of the two 1's (see screenshot array-output).Code: https://github.com/maksimdrachov/yada-brussels

Good evening to you all electronics dark wizards. To the point:I am interested in flashing specific pages of stm32 chips because im locating some custom binary config files for my application.I found the option in my stm32cubeprogrammer v2.6.0 to define the Start Address but the data input box cannot be used for some reason?

Hi, i need to measure rms voltage and current choosing ADC channels in stm32f103.i selected two channnels in ADC1 to read adc values . By using these channels i need to calculate rms voltage and current . But i am confused how to do it . is it necessary to do calibration also. can anyone help me how to write a code or how to start it please.Thank you

Hello. I'm currently working on a RFID research project using 2 ST RFID chip : ST25R3911B and ST25DV64K. The reader is the discovery kit with a home-made antenna to suit to the project constraint. The external filter has been redesigned and transferred power to the tag is all good. The tag is based on the ST25DV64K plugged to a specific antenna as well. There's a parallel circuit that provides power (harvesting with diodes) to a MCU and sensors. The energy harvesting feature of the ST25DV wasn't enough for our needs. Even without consumming power on the tag (only the RFID chip and diodes bride), i can't manage to suceed a FAst Read BLock command. I have 50% of error i'd say. Normal read work well, even with a 30 mW consumption after the diode bridge. But I can't manage to make the fast mode working. I've tried to change filters parameters (register in the ST25R3911) but no success. Could it be the specific antenna bandwidth ?Is there any tricks in the ST25R3911B to achieve fast mode ?

I am using NUCLEO-L010RB.When operating RTC (standby mode) using LSE,What is the current consumption during RTC?

HI, i am using TB6600HG stepper IC in my board to drive stepper motor using stm32f103R8Tx. In TB6600hg driver IC there is a Alert Pin its function is to monitor TSD and ISD.where TSD is built in thermal shutdown.ISD is built in overcurrent detection.if my TSD = Under TSD detection and ISD=normal then ALERT = low.if my TSD= normal and ISD= normal then my ALERT = z. And even they are used 'z' for some other pins to check the state. But I don't know what that 'z' refers or meaning in TB6600HG driver IC . can anyone help me with it please.Thank you

Hi all,This post is obviously coming from a person without any USB development experience. We use some off-the-shelf instruments which I know to be based on STM32, and they connect to a PC using the Virtual COMPort. Nothing new here, the standard Windows drivers perfectly recognizes it and I can communicate using any console program. What we would like to do is to get rid of the PC: make an external "controller" device with another STM32 with USB OTG to which the instrument would be connected (a small LCD and a few buttons will be the interface to whatever the instrument requires). Our controller would recognize the VCP, and "convert it back" to a serial transport layer. So I guess we are looking for the C/C++ "reverse" of the VCP driver.[STM32_INSTRUMENT]-------->(USB_CABLE)-------->[STM32_USB_OTG][SERIAL_DATA]Does anyone know if there is such a thing available? Thanks,Bruno

Hi guys,I'm a little confused about the trigger voltage for rising-falling triggered interrupts. As my previous understanding, the trigger voltage should be Vih and Vil. But some one told me Vih and Vil is not for edge triggered interrupts. The thing is, when I observe the waveform with a Oscilloscope along with an interrupt counter from Keil, I did see the interrupt happened when the voltage did not reach the Vih(rising edge). I use 3.3V voltage. The signal is only 1V around and the interrupts was triggered. I checked the manual of STM32 and did not find the answer.Could some one help? Thanks,

I need the callback, to clear the cb4.DMA_Active flag and update a pointer when it finishes. I cannot step through it because it starts sending data over and over as I step through it and does not call the callback. First time msg points to "1234567890\r\n" len = strlen(msg)Second time msg points to "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ\r\n", len= strlen(mssg)Second time it sends "1234567890\r\n" again. static void dma_debug_write(char *msg, size_t len){   // this is the real code I want to run.   cb4.DMA_Active = 1;   huart4.Instance->CR3 |= USART_CR3_DMAT;   HAL_DMA_Start_IT(&hdma_uart4_tx,               (uint32_t)msg,                (uint32_t)&huart4.               Instance->TDR,  &nb

Hi AllI have simple question about STM32CubMX.I use the STM32F103RBT and test the i2c with eeprom. When I set the pin for i2c, I should change the GPIO Pull-up/Pull-down in STM32FCubMx.But This menu is not in STM32FCubMX.I don't connect external pull up in hardware, to use internal pull up.Below is my STM32FCubMx GPIO set Menu.I can't use internal pull-up ??Please help me. Thank you.

provided ST tutorial on youtube (Motor Control Part5 )  indicates it support PMSM motors .is provided FOC FW library support BLDC motors also?

Hi,so far we want to compare several MEMS accelerometers and their specifications. From ST, two sensors are on our list, the IIS3DWB and the IIS2DH.For the IIS3DWB, the data sheet offers a frequency response curve at page 19 and regarding aliasing the following information (see IIS3-Block-Diagram-Frequency-Response.PNG):"The IIS3DWB has been specifically designed to provide a wide bandwidth with very flat frequency response in thepass band and a very high attenuation in the stop band so to virtually eliminate any frequency aliasing."1) So for the IIS3DWB their is no "true" analog low pass filter before the ADC in order to prevent aliasing, its simply done by the frequency response of the senor itself right? Because the LPF1 is a digital low pass filter, in theory not capable of preventing aliasing effects.... Or am i on a wrong direction :) ?2) Does the frequency response for the IIS2DH provides a low pass curve progression by the sensor itself too in order to eliminate aliaising, simi

I have been using USB CDC for a while now with the following STM32 parts;- F417, F401, F070, F301 and F373. I use STM32CubeIDE and all my projects are built using the Device Configuration Tool. I have found that USB CDC works first time with F417, F401, and F070 parts, but does not work with F301 and F373 parts. By 'not work' I mean the project build and run okay, but I get no enumeration form my PC. I get zero response. I have spent along time checking signal levels and clocks, etc, but found nothing. So, I've had to give up with the F301 and F373 parts. Could this be an issue with the F3-- library?. I would be very interested if anyone else has experienced this.

The "operating temperature range" is specified as +85 deg. C high limit.Does this really mean the MCU can operate with an ambient temperature of 85 C ? Only the maximum junction temperature is specific in the data sheet.

What I'm doing is to perform anticollision with 1 or 2 NFCA tags present. When performing anticollision with just one tag, the function does never report an error and allways find 1 tag correctly. When performing anticollisiion with two tags:There are combinations of two NFCA tags that allways work perfectly (ERR_NONE) and found all the tags. There are combinations of two NFCA tags that allways fails. When a combination allways fails:If I have optimize for size (-Os) error is allways ERR_FRAMING (in the same place as PDe), and if I call anticollision function again, it just found 1 tag (but there are two!).If I have optimize most (-O3) error is allways ERR_INCOMPLETE_BYTE, if I call anticollision function again, error is ERR_TIMEOUT, if I call it again, ERR_INCOMPLETE_BYTE, ...All tags works fine, when just one is present.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Ulysses HERNIOSUSOpen Ulysses HERNIOSUS

Is it possible to turn textareas upsidedown without having to use texturemapper?

Hello STM-Community,I'm fairly new to STM programming and I use an STM32 microcontroller with STM32CubeMX encountered a weird issue with my functions.I've got an IRQ, which collects data every interrupt. Similair like this:void HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback(uint16_t GPIO_Pin)   {   if (GPIO_Pin == INT_EXT_Pin)   {   ACCMETER_IRQ(accdata);   data_counter++;   }   }In the main function I want to see if enough data have been collected for an FFT.Similair like this in my while loop:while(1)   {   if (data_counter > 4096)   {   FFT_ACCMETER(accdata);   data_counter = 0;   }   }   while performing the FFT, the IRQ still collects data for a buffer function, therefore no data should be lost in between each FFT.Here's the issue, after gathering enough data, data_couner is set to 4096 (or higher), but never actually goes into the if condition. I've tried out many different things such as accessing the variable to d

I have been using the L6235 for more than 10 yease with no problems. Great part!!!Powered from an AC to DC suppply with 24, +5 and -5 output. The motor of course runs off of the 24V. We have recently changed to a single 24V output AC to DC and the +/-5V is generated from the 24V. When the AC power is removed the motor freewheels and generates voltage back into the system and continues to supply +/-5V until the motor comes to a stop. What can be done to keep the motor from powering the system once AC is removed?

Hello,I'm working with a STM32F446 and I configured the SPI as slave. In my process I receive x bytes of data in interruption. But during the process, this size of data changes to y. But the function HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_IT(x) has already been called with the value x.I tried resetting the SPI interface to be able to receive those y bytes (HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_IT(y)). But it is not working, I still receive the data with a shift, due to the previous size. What is the proper way to fix this? Thanks in advance

Hi, I'm working with a STM32F446ZET6. In this case, I configured my SPI as slave, and I use the HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive function. The problem is that when the slave shoud respond with the value 0x11, I receive 0x22 on the master side.I have checked the send value with a logic analizer and it shows that the slave is sending 0x22 (not 0x11). But this only happens when the programm starts from power on.When I reset manually (NRST button on STM) the board I don't have this problem. It only happends from power on. I have no idea of what the issue is.Thanks in advance for the help.

I have a brand new P-NUCLEO-IHM002 out of box. I configured it according to the instruction. however, when power up, D11 on IHM07M1 is not light at all. when i push the blue button, no response. LD3 on Nucleo-F302R8 is on, LD1 is flashing. Can you help me to debug?Thank you.Shengnan
