Im using stm32f429 controller,now in our project i want to play audio in wav format.now sd card read function working fine,data transfer from uc to DAC using i2c DMA mode.but now only noice is play.what to do now ?any suggestion ?

Hello, I'm trying to build a simple program to communicate between 2 microcontrollers using FDCAN. Im not using a transciever yet, just connecting TX of one Nucleo-G431KB to the RX of one Nucleo-G474RE, and vice-versa. Using the test modes, External Loopback and Bus Monitoring, i can send and receive data without a problem. Filters works properly, everything seems ok.When i switch to Normal mode, i can't send and/or receive data. I tried using an osciloscope on the sender TX, and i dont get any signal, when in normal mode.I'll post the code of the sender, and receiver.Can someone help me? What am i doing wrong?

Hello,I´m using an STM32 Nucleo G474RE and an X-NUCLEO-NFC04A1 and I want to use the interrupt function of the NFC board to detect a changing field, but the interrupt doesn´t get triggered by using this code (based on a example from ST):#include "main.h" #include "nfc04a1_nfctag.h"   const ST25DV_PASSWD st25dv_i2c_password = {.MsbPasswd = 0, .LsbPasswd = 0};   UART_HandleTypeDef hlpuart1; ADC_HandleTypeDef hadc1;   void SystemClock_Config(void); static void MX_GPIO_Init(void); static void MX_LPUART1_UART_Init(void); static void MX_ADC1_Init(void);   int main(void) { /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init();   /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config();   /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_LPUART1_UART_Init(); MX_ADC1_Init(); NFC04A1_LED_Init(GREEN_LED); NFC04A1_LED_Init(BLUE_LED); NFC04A1_LED_Init(YELLOW_LED); while(NFC04A1_NFCTAG_Init(NFC04A1_NFCTAG_INSTA

HiI want to change the screen to another, but not with the button, but with the main.c command. how to do it?Andrzej

Hi,this problem shows in a number of ways.I installed the latest IDE v. 1.6.0 and using the J-Link EDU probe with STM32H743 target.First trying to launch my project through J-Link the window came up suggesting to upgrade J-Link to a newer firmware. I clicked "yes" to download and seemingly upgrade happened (or so I thought). Subsequent attempts to run the code failed. "J-Link commander" utility showed that the probe was dead.Luckily I had one more probe. Fearing to loose yet another probe the same way, I upgraded this probe using "J-Link Configurator" tool from Segger. Indeed there was upgrade and Configurator succeeded with upgrade.Then I connected the upgraded probe to download and run my project in CubeIDE.What was a surprise when IDE again reported a need to upgrade J-Link firmware ! This time I refused by clicking "no" and J-Link worked as expected.Now every time I try to use the probe, IDE requests this "upgrade" to the freshly upgraded probe . If I accidentally press "yes" I wil

We are using your board ST25R3911B but we need to use this board by program in c/c++. We found your DLL demo, but is it possible to send only first command to comunicate with ISO14443 type A like RQA/ANTICOLL/SEL and not a send and receive generic, as described in your TAG25 editor, to write or read eventually a NDEF file. Please where I can download a dll that include also send and receive.BRAndrea

Hi, I want to use the simulataneous ADC reading with 2 DMA channels, in order to avoid overrun errors (which I'm having).I'm using the HAL and I'm having a hard time understanding when is the DMA buffer of the slave channel assigned. When multimode is used, all the manuals and explanations I've seen recommed this structure: if (HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc2) != HAL_OK) Error_Handler();     if (HAL_ADCEx_MultiModeStart_DMA(&hadc1, getDMAADCBufferPointer(), ADC_BUFFER_LENGTH) != HAL_OK) Error_Handler();Where the slave is started first, but then you are not able to tell the system to use the slave DMA buffer. If I use the same ADC for both, the sampling, transmission to DMA and all happen correctly. But using different DMA channels, I can see the DR registers of the ADC being updated, but the DMA interrupt (HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback) does not happen.The interrupt mapping is:/** * @brief This function handles DMA1 channel1 global interrupt. */ void DMA1_Channel1_IRQHandler(void)

I am developing the BLE application on my custom PCB using MCU STM32WB55CCU6. However, it gets stuck in if (SHCI_C2_BLE_Init( &ble_init_cmd_packet ) != SHCI_Success) { Error_Handler(); }It returns SHCI_FUS_CMD_NOT_SUPPORTED instead of SHCI_Success so it jumps into the Error_Handler(). I tried to flash the FW into the nucleo board. It works perfectly fine. But it failed to initialise the BLE stack on my custom PCB. Therefore, I think it should be the hardware problem. I checked HSE and LSE clk. They are initialised successfully and the waveforms can be observed in CRO. I am sure that they are oscillating. Can anyone give me some advise on this issue? Thank you very much

Hi,I want to partially configure GPIO's using HAL and CubeMX. In my simple case, I just want to enable/disable the pull-up resistors while running a program.At first I looked up, how the pins get initialized by CubeMX:There's this structure, which you have to fill using all parameters.typedef struct { uint32_t Pin; // Specifies the GPIO pins to be configured. uint32_t Mode; // Specifies the operating mode for the selected pins. uint32_t Pull; // Specifies the Pull-up or Pull-Down activation for the selected pins. uint32_t Speed; // Specifies the speed for the selected pins. uint32_t Alternate; // Peripheral to be connected to the selected pins }GPIO_InitTypeDef;=> I could use that, if I would be able to get the parameters I selected in CubeMX, but there's no such function as "void HAL_GPIO_Get_Config(GPIO_TypeDef *GPIOx, uint16_t GPIO_Pin, GPIO_InitTypeDef *GPIO_Init)"...The next thing I heard of is the LL (low level) driver (https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009X

Hi,i´m using a stm32mp157-dk2 and want to increase the size of the rootfs partition to 2GB.To create the image follwed the instructions from https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/index.php/STM32MP1_Distribution_Package#Installing_the_OpenSTLinux_distribution .Before running the bitbake command changed as suggested in https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000EaFPwSAN/rootfs-size-increasing-on-avenger961) /meta-st/meta-st-stm32mp/conf/machine/include/st-nachine-common-stm32mp.incIMAGE_ROOTFS_MAXSIZE ?= "2097152" ROOTFS_PARTITION_SIZE ?= "2097152"2) /meta-st/meta-st-stm32mp/recipes-devtools/sdcard-raw-tools/sdcard-raw-tools/create_sdcard_from_flashlayout.shDEFAULT_RAW_SIZE=4096 DEFAULT_ROOTFS_PARTITION_SIZE=2097152Then while running the bitbake command an error showed up "The initramfs size 181612 (K) exceeds INITRAMFS_MAXSIZE: 131072 (K) You can set INITRAMFS_MAXSIZE a larger value.... Hello everyone, Are there any boards that will allow me to run the MCU at 180MHz or more , while still supporting the use of the FullSpeed USB at 48MHz? The board should have at least 2 ADC's & 1 DAC.Please suggest how may I achieve this !Thank you.

Hi, When I leave my code to play for more than one hour I received the error HardFault_Handler(), I found in registers whats the last line executed before entering in the error function, below I put a picture of this part of the code.  Note: That error is random, don't have a specific moment time when happens.

I need to add a specific version of FreeRTOS to my STM32F103 CubeIDE project, I cannot use the Middleware package in CubeMX.I have tried several times to get the FreeRTOS files into CubeIDE, both using "Import" from Filesystem and drag and drop of files into the Project Explorer. Each time the files appear in the Project Explorer but they do not get built.What am I missing here?Thanks.

I need a blocking very short time delay.So I set up Timer 6 to run at 90 MHz, with no interrupts.I need delays from 0.5 to 30 microseconds for an interface I have to bit-bang.I was hoping for a simple delay routine like this:void Timer6_delay(uint16_t clocks){   TIM6_CNT = 0;   while (TIM6_CNT < clocks);}Except TIM6_CNT is not the right name.In the documentation: RM0390 it says in Paragraph 19.3.1 Time-base unit it saysThe main block of the programmable timer is a 16-bit upcounter with its related auto-reloadregister. The counter clock can be divided by a prescaler.The counter, the auto-reload register and the prescaler register can be written or read bysoftware. This is true even when the counter is running.The time-base unit includes:Counter Register (TIMx_CNT)Prescaler Register (TIMx_PSC)Auto-Reload Register (TIMx_ARR)So I mistakenly thought it was called TIM6_CNT. And if it is, the Compiler does not know about it.Is it in a special include file I ma

Hello community ! I hope you are doing well,I have actually a question which is kind of "DIY" and is not MCU developpment related. I have Nucleo F767ZI, and I need to get it screwed to a plexiglas board. I didn't find out whether the holes next to arduino pins (which are tycpically present in all nucléo models) are for screws or not. I've been looking for an answer but couldn't find a similar topic. I noticed that there are some bias and pcb routing close to the holes, so I didn't want to risk giving the board a chance to be damaged.I would be thankful if someone have an answer for this.Best regards.Wijdenne

Hello.1. Whether the hardware ECC for STM32F437IIH6 support error detection and error correction? STM32F437 is connect to NAND Flash through FMC with Bank2. Reference manual RM0090 section 37.6.6 describe it can perform 1-bit error correction and 2-bit error detection. This error detection and error corretion is supported by hardware or realized by software?2.Figure 457 FMC memory banks in RM0090 describe the Bank2 for NAND Flash is 4x64 MB. Is that means the NAND flash connected to Bank2 should be 256MB max.? However, as NAND flash doesn't have address pins, and the address is defined through the commands, whether I can connect a 512Mbytes or 1Gbytes NAND Flash to Bank2?Thank you.

I am trying to get the CAN Bus to work. I am using a NUCLEO-F446RE. It fails in the HAL_CAN_Init() routine. Which is code that is auto generated. Someone suggested maybe the board is bad. Fortunately I had a NUCLEO-F446ZE (144 pin package board) and it did not stop at that point with no hardware hooked up. I removed the hardware and the bare NUCLEO-F446RE still hung at the same place. I determined my NUCLEO-F446RE board must be bad. I ordered another NUCLEO-F446RE, and tested the bare board and it still hangs in the same place. Is this a known issue? Do I need to switch over to the NUCLEO-F446ZE if I want to use CAN?

Hello Community!I have a project where I was using a STM32F407 MCU from a minimal ready-to-run system with USB, programming connection and pin headers to access every MCU pin. While using this hardware, the project can be loaded and executed on the MCU.However, to improve the hardware solution I integrated all these features in my own PCB and buy the MCU. The problem is that when connecting it for the very first time to STM32CubeProgrammer the system does not find the target at all.I have checked the following things on the MCU pins:Power supply 3.3V is OKMCU current consumption is in the order of uA, lower than the specified by STM in the hardest Energy Saving mode.Continuity from MCU pins and Progrrammer connector is OKClock signal from ST-Link Device is properly reaching the MCU.Boot pins are properly managed by the programmerThe error raised by the STM32CubeProgrammer is the same as if there were no MCU connected: NO STM TARGET FOUND!I bought a batch of 10 MCUs and the error i
