Hello.I succeeded to run my own app with SBSFU on a NUCLEO-H753ZI. But now, my app uses Lwip and differents DMAs. Then, I need these 3 MPU regions:MPU_InitStruct.Enable = MPU_REGION_ENABLE; MPU_InitStruct.Number = MPU_REGION_NUMBER0; MPU_InitStruct.BaseAddress = 0x24000000; MPU_InitStruct.Size = MPU_REGION_SIZE_512KB; MPU_InitStruct.SubRegionDisable = 0x0; MPU_InitStruct.TypeExtField = MPU_TEX_LEVEL1; MPU_InitStruct.AccessPermission = MPU_REGION_FULL_ACCESS; MPU_InitStruct.DisableExec = MPU_INSTRUCTION_ACCESS_ENABLE; MPU_InitStruct.IsShareable = MPU_ACCESS_NOT_SHAREABLE; MPU_InitStruct.IsCacheable = MPU_ACCESS_NOT_CACHEABLE; MPU_InitStruct.IsBufferable = MPU_ACCESS_NOT_BUFFERABLE;   HAL_MPU_ConfigRegion(&MPU_InitStruct); /** Initializes and configures the Region and the memory to be protected */ MPU_InitStruct.Enable = MPU_REGION_ENABLE; MPU_InitStruct.Number = MPU_REGION_NUMBER1; MPU_InitStruct.BaseAddress = 0x30040000; MPU_InitStruct.Size = MPU_REGION_SIZE_2

I wanted to implement FIR filter and FFT using Cortex M4 in Dual Core STM32H745 Device. Is there any procedure document or application note available to implement by generating from STM32Cube IDE ?Filter Coefficients can be generated from MATLAB filter Design ToolBox ? or is there any other way of doing ?

Hello,i want to program my STM32G031F4P6 chip over ST Link, but i get the error message "Can not read memory! Disable Read Out Protection and retry". Disable the Read Out Protection over the Option Bytes doesn't work. Erasing the chip also doesn't help. Can anybody help me to solve this problem?

We Ordered > 100k parts at the start of February this year: My distributor (EBV) is not even getting a confirmation date, and if something is given by ST, it is far in 2022. (Date today is August 13)ST, what is going on here? Please explain and inform your customers, so they can decide to wait or to start to execute an 'escape plan' (= going away from ST MEMS devices) Time is ticking away and we run into tremendous problems. Our stock is growing, cash flow is going down, because we can't produce due to a couple of silly ST MEMS devices that are not available. It may lead to board change, and kick out ST devices from it, I am sorry.Everybody is blaming COVID for these problems, but hey, in the electronics industry there was NO REASON at all to stop production. I have to say this that we consider this as a giant management f*ckup in the semi conductor industry in general.(Note that the parts we ordered are active parts with 'in production' status)

I have integrated the .elf file in the STM32CubeMonitor, but it does not show me the self-defined variables. I tried different variables like volatile uint32_t a = 3; volatile uint8_t b = 3; int c = 3;Does someone have an idea what i did wrong?!

Hi,I'm new to the ST family of processorers and we are currentl using the SPC58EC discovery board at the company I'm currently working at.Background:I'm trying to make an application read out and print on serial what is being sent on the CAN bus. Right now I'm using the following lines of code in the main loop: returnvalue = can_lld_receive(&CAND2, CAN_FIFO0_RXBUFFER, &rxf);   if (returnvalue == CAN_MSG_OK) { write_can_msg(0, 0, rxf.ID, rxf.data8, rxf.DLC); rxCounterPoll++; pal_lld_clearpad(PORT_F, PF_LED2);   }which works OK. I have set up the FIFO buffer to have 64 slots and when I flood the CAN bus with messages using busmaster the FIFO buffer seems to be working. To my issue: when I fill up the FIFO buffer it seems like the above lines of code does not empty it when I stop flooding the bus. After filling up the buffer if I wait a couple of seconds and then start sending a new message one by one, can_lld_receive executes still the old messag

I've created my own differential AAT board (3 turn 80x36mm antenna) that is working, but with a range of only 4cm compared to the NFC06A1 range of 8cm using a similar 15693 tag . With my own board powered off, I used my miniVNA to measure the matching network and antenna and see a minimum VSWR 2.365 and matching frequency of 16.52 MHz. When I measure the Nucleo NFC06A1 it yields a VSWR of 3.727 and a matching frequency of 13.3192. When I use QUCs to simulate my board with the same matching components its different (more capacitive on the smith chart). I was hoping the QUCS simulation would be more inline with what I'm seeing with the miniVNA. Which is more trustworthy, QUCS or the miniVNA for tweaking the matching network? I've attached some charts to show the differences. Any suggestions of how to proceed would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi all,I have small query around u-boot.How can i update my custom boot screen for the u-boot?How can add my custom application to start post boot? Thanks.

I am using the STM32L4R9ZIJ6 but do not use the DSI Host function. Can the following DSI function pins be left unconnected if the DSI function is not used:DSI_CKN, DSI_CKPDSI_DS__D0N, DSI_D0PDSI_D1N, DSI_D1PThe STM32L4R9 data sheet DS12023 Rev 5, table 15 refers to note (3) for these pins. However Note (3) details the requirement for NC balls

I'm working with the NUCLEO-WL55jc1 board and I have one strange behavior. I need one output pin and I've called it Trigger.Initially, the pin PC2 was used but I wasn't able to make it work. It had incorrect output voltages and some bounce like it was a switch. Other pins, like LEDs on the board, worked as aspected, so I decided to change the pin with PB1, using the same software: it was working. In order to investigate, I've used both outputs, the same software, just a set, and a reset after delay. I've connected the oscilloscope to see the output signal reported in the picture. Tack yellow is the PB1 output (Trigger_pin), track blue is the PC2 output (Test_pin) the wrong one. My simple code. uint16_t Distance(void) {   uint16_t distanza = 0;   UTIL_LPM_Mode_t lpm_stat = UTIL_LPM_GetMode(); // UTIL_LPM_S APP_LOG(TS_OFF, VLEVEL_H, "\r\n###### ========== PASSO ==========, %d\r\n", lpm_stat); BSP_LED_On(LED_BLUE) ; HAL_GPIO_WritePin(Trigger_GPIO_Port, Trigger_Pin, GPIO

Hello,I am trying to get familiar with vitualUart between A7 et M4 side. The example OpenAMP_tty_Echo given in the wiki works well with my setup.Next step i would like to replace the "echo "msg" > /dev/ttyRPMG0" terminal commands" by a C linux user space application by using Read/Write file operations.Writing operations work OK but i am struggling to get the Echo with read operation. No change made on the M4 echo example.Below an extract of my GTK c programWhen read operation is reached the program blocks despite the timeout settings. But when I echo the M4 with a terminal M4 is still alive. And a very interresting thing is that this echo gives also the caracteres sent with my GTK c app.I did not find any example on the web for this task.Thank you by advance for any help.Regard serial_port = open("/dev/ttyRPMSG0", O_RDWR); struct termios SerialPortSettings;    tcgetattr(serial_port, &SerialPortSettings); SerialPortSettings.c_cc[VTIME] = 10; w

STM32L4Q5VGTxP I use the board I made.FUNC 1) HAL_SPI_Transmit(ILI9341_SPI_Handle,&data,1,100);The output waveform is observed with SCLK / MOSI PIN.FUNC 2) HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA(ILI9341_SPI_Handle,&data,1);Output waveform does not appear with SCLK / MOSI PIN.After executing HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA once(check function)HAL_SPI_StateTypeDef err;err = HAL_SPI_GetState(ILI9341_SPI_Handle);while(err != HAL_SPI_STATE_READY){err = HAL_SPI_GetState(&hspi1);}The result continues to return err (HAL_SPI_STATE_BUSY_TX).Below is a picture of CUMEMX setup.  //======================== PSHAL_ADC_Start_DMA(&hadc1,&adc_dma_buffer[0], 4);Also, it doesn't work.What did I miss, where did I go wrong?

So we have "Over Current Protection" part in Motor Control Workbench . but it seems it needs an external circuit on board to sense current , and there is 2 question here :1- what circuit should I use and where should the output of that circuit be connected ( in "Over Current Protection" dialogue there is no place to choose a pin for over current detection .2- why we should use an external extra circuit for current sensing when we already have three shunt on our MOSFETs ? Can we add just a simple if where we measure Ia or Ib and check if this value has been passed just stop anything ? ( I've already did it and it seems to work -But I know it should be a trigger to TIM break input to work properly - So is there any easy way to do this protection by just comparing Ia and Ib ? )

Hello everyone!I want to create a TouchGFX project using IAR Workbench. When creating the code with the STM32CubeMX software, I chose EWARM. But when I open the project with IAR workbench, in the workspace there is no gui and generated folder (I want to program in ScreenModel, ScreenPresenter, ScreenView user files in the gui folder). So how to add generated and gui folders to my project, please give me advice! Thanks everyone!

I have an application which requires I count the amount of inventory in a silo. The inventory i am counting are cigarette packs that are wrapped in cellophane. They are stacked in a metal silo where the packs fit neatly up against all 4 walls. I am taking the measurement from the roof of the silo looking down at the top most pack and calculating the distance. I am then using that distance to derive how many packs are left in the stack. the range I am working with is 4cm to 26cm. My issue is the following. The distance reading I get is not stable. If I take a pack and flip it over I can get 2 different values. The difference in values can be so large that in some instances I can completely remove the pack and the range wont change. When i try to place a white paper on top of the pack the values change again however the the readings are far more stable. This issue does not effect all packs as some can be flipped and the ranges stay constant. I have also tried to spray paint the silo wall

Here is the warning....../Drivers/STM32L4xx_HAL_Driver/Src/stm32l4xx_hal_sd.c:2760:29: warning: 'Init.ClockDiv' may be used uninitialized in this function [-Wmaybe-uninitialized] 2760 |    if ((sdmmc_clk / (Init.ClockDiv + 2U)) > SD_NORMAL_SPEED_FREQ)

I've migrated to a new custom board, which uses a STM32F746IE and a new SDRAM model, NDS36PT5-20ET by Insignis. And although I could make a MT48LC16M16A2 by Micron work in the previous board, I have no luck with the Insignis SDRAM.The Insignis SDRAM is rated for 200 MHz. I'm using a system clock of 200 MHz, so the SDRAM is clocked at 100 MHz. Based on the timings in the datasheet, I configured CubeMX like this:Each FMC cycle is 10 ns, so I divided the datasheet time by 10 ns and rounded up. The Write recovery time would be 1 cycle, but CubeMX sets this to 2. I also chose a CL of 3, since the datasheet doesn't list any Clock cycle time for CL 2.Similarly, I initialize the SDRAM with this function in main():static void SDRAM_Init() { FMC_SDRAM_CommandTypeDef Command;   __IO uint32_t tmpmrd =0; /* Step 3: Configure a clock configuration enable command */ Command.CommandMode = FMC_SDRAM_CMD_CLK_ENABLE; Command.CommandTarget = FMC_SDRAM_CMD_TARGET_BANK1; Command.AutoRefreshNumber

Greetings all,Is there a way to configure TIM12 to be clocked by TI1FP1 and reset (with trigger to continue counting) via TI2FP2? Or is this going to require some hideous multi-timer contraption? Thanks,Dave

Hi, We have acquired this board called Audio Injector (in the image) that has a WM8731, it is a raspberry pi hat, but we want to use it with the STM32MP157D-DK1 but the drivers we have found on the internet seems to be not compatible with this board (we are using the base OpenSTLinux), despite the board has the pinout of raspberry. Someone has used it before? Another question, how can we manipulate the Cortex M4 from the Operating system? there is a way we can use it capabilities from the OS? because we noticed that for the Cortex A7 we cannot use the SAI ports as I2S but from the Cortex M4 is possible to use them as I2S. (we saw that on the STM32Cube IDE and CubeMX).Thanks for your answer.

We created a new project with STM32L552 using STM3CubeMX V. 6.3.0 and HAL Version 1.4.0. We activated Middleware USB CDC and used the identical software add-ons as in the last project for the same processor. The last project was done using HAL V. 1.2.0. and worked perfectly. Now with the new release we can not get the CFC to work. After all initialisations are done, the USB port state is set to "Suspended".The PC can not connect to the USB device via VCP. (USB Device was not detected) The error message on the PC appears as soon as USB_DevConnect(hpcd->Instance);is called in HAL_PCD_Start().Has anybody an idea what could be the reason?

Hello,I need to interface STM32 with SMI230 IMU sensor is there any libraries or driver for programming, I have found the linux driver for the SMI230, in my use case i am going to use STM32 MCU which cannot run linux OS, so "I need a driver which uses generic C API's which i port it to the STM32 environment" .Thanks

We have been using STM32 L series and F series of micros in our products with STM32Cube Hal drivers , stacks and FreeRTOS. Now we have to go to certified RTOS. Looking at options of SafeRTOS , Azure Threadx , and Flexible Safety RTOS. We would like to know , Going forward , if the STM32Cube / Mx supports FreeRTOS / SafeRTOS / AzureThreadx for the Middlewares or stacks. Accordingly we would like choose our option. Thanks in advance , SivaSW ArchitectGreenCubes Technology

Hi, I have STM32L496 and use Freertos 10.2. Everything is fine, but I would like read data from queue without removing from the queue. I discovered function xQueuePeek() but I dont know how to use it if I can read specific item from Queue. For example I can check first and second item. Peek() function return only first item.please help thank you
