I am exploring Sensor tile Box in pro mode. STM32L4R9ZIJ6 is the controller in it. I tried to display a string using UART pins in the JTAG pin section. While debugging the code was working without any halt. But I didn't got any display in serial console.I am using STM32cubeIDE for programming the board and Tera Term to display the serial communication. Baud Rate I used is 115200.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------#include "main.h"UART_HandleTypeDef huart1;static void MX_GPIO_Init(void);void SystemClock_Config(void);static void MX_USART1_UART_Init(void);int main(void){ HAL_Init();MX_GPIO_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); MX_USART1_UART_Init(); while (1) { HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1, (uint8_t *) "Hello", 10, 1000); HAL_Delay(1000); }}void SystemClock_Config(void){ RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInit = {0};

Hi,I couldn't find the pcb.doc of the 32F769IDISCOVERY board. Would you please send the PCB files ?Thanks

Hi all,I'm trying to implement manually the ST EEPROM emulation package.But I got stuck at a undefined reference: I included in the right build paths and in the IDE I can perfectly jump to the EE_Init() function.So the IDE does know where to look, but my compiler doesn'tWhat can be the problem here?

Is IIS3DWB data already vibration information, or is there some algorithm needed to convert to vibration data? https://www.st.com/en/mems-and-sensors/iis3dwb.html

Hi!I would like to store files on an SD card that are transmitted via HTTP POST (lwIP HTTP server). The files are correctly transmitted (hash calculating on both sides, the hashes are equal) and then written out to the card. But the content of the file is wrong: there is an additional byte before my content (and the last byte is missing, e.g. the file size is correct). I've checked the data in the HAL_SD_WriteBlocks_DMA method before write, and everything is correct. The cache maintenance (ENABLE_SD_DMA_CACHE_MAINTENANCE) macro is also defined. (And 1-byte offset bug cannot be by cache miss). Another interesting thing it seems to be somehow timing related. What can I check?Regards,

Can i replace the stm32f427vit6 with the f429vit6, f437vit6 or 439vit6 without changing code, and are they completely pin compatible?

I'm coming across a strange issue, and the documentation for the API isn't really helping much. I've got a small application to load some firmware using the CubeProgrammer_API, and it works perfectly if I point setLoadersPath() to "C:\Program Files\STMicroelectronics\STM32Cube\STM32CubeProgrammer\bin". However, I'd like to include the FlashLoader files with my project so that STM32CubeProgrammer isn't required to be installed with my software. I copied over the FlashLoader folder and pointed the function to the directory the FlashLoader folder is in, but now when I call connectUsartBootloader(), it fails and returns -5: CUBEPROGRAMMER_ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED. Any ideas? What exactly am I missing?

Here is the code in question:HAL_StatusTypeDef HAL_ADC_Start_DMA(ADC_HandleTypeDef *hadc, uint32_t *pData, uint32_t Length) { HAL_StatusTypeDef tmp_hal_status; #if defined(ADC_MULTIMODE_SUPPORT) uint32_t tmp_multimode_config = LL_ADC_GetMultimode(__LL_ADC_COMMON_INSTANCE(hadc->Instance)); #endif   /* Check the parameters */ assert_param(IS_ADC_ALL_INSTANCE(hadc->Instance));   /* Perform ADC enable and conversion start if no conversion is on going */ if (LL_ADC_REG_IsConversionOngoing(hadc->Instance) == 0UL) { /* Process locked */ __HAL_LOCK(hadc);   #if defined(ADC_MULTIMODE_SUPPORT) /* Ensure that multimode regular conversions are not enabled. */ /* Otherwise, dedicated API HAL_ADCEx_MultiModeStart_DMA() must be used. */ if ((tmp_multimode_config == LL_ADC_MULTI_INDEPENDENT) || (tmp_multimode_config == LL_ADC_MULTI_DUAL_INJ_SIMULT) || (tmp_multimode_config == LL_ADC_MULTI_DUAL_INJ_ALTERN) ) #endifSince ADC5 shares its multimode configuration regi

I've found a bug in the ENABLE_SCRATCH_BUFFER implementation for sd_disk_io when using fatfs.When this option is enabled, the code initially checks to see if the buffer is 4 byte aligned, and if it isn't aligned (quite often the case with fatfs) then the code is supposed to copy the buffer to align it to a 4 byte boundary.The scratch buffer does not appear to be initially set up anywhere, and the indentation for DMAing the scratch buffer is also incorrect.The complete SD_write function is a mess and needs to be reworked. At least 2 bugs that I can see.1) Indentation for using the scratch buffer is wrong, it's current executed when BSP_SD_WriteBlocks_DMA does not return MSD_OK2) Initial scratch buffer is not setup when buffer is not alignedCan anyone confirm this?CheersGlen.

I want to readout the STSS22H, without any polling or I2C clock stretching. I want to use the following sequence:Send soft reset commandSend one shot command Release I2C bus for other processes to useWait for the maximum conversion time of the one-shot modeGet the resultRelease I2C bus for other processes to useWait for a couple secondsRepeat from step 1Is this possible with the STSS22H, where can I find the maximum conversion time in one **** mode? This information is missing in the datasheet.

we are trying to configure LSM6DSOX in high-performance mode. I am trying to test the ST25RU3993_Eval code and .ioc project with the ST25RU3993 Rain Board. I have uploaded the ST25RU3993_eval.bin through the firmware update option under help on the ST25RU3993 Reader Suite, but the board does not recognize it, and gives the error it isn't compatible. Why is this firmware failing, as it was my understanding this was a compatible firmware for the Rain Board? The project builds correctly within the STMCubeIDE, but the bin file produced will not work as firmware through the suite. Is there a way to get a hold of the .ioc files for the only firmware that works for the READER? The only firmware I get to work on the RAIN Reader Suite is ST25RU3993_FW_v3-0-0-0_Eval.bin.Thanks

My problem is, that on the one hand, the SPI3 configuration is lost after I close CubeMX. The assignment is lost to the M4 core (changed from A7 to M4 and after reopening, its again at A7. The changes have been saved and tried on different machines). If the assignment of the DMA streams for the peripherals has been done, after reopening CubeMx and *ioc file, the DMA streams differ or are completely lost.   So, what I am doing wrong here? Is there maybe another problem with the GPIO or whatever, which can lead to this unexpected behaviour? Or is this a known issue?   Thank you for the help.   Best regards, Jan-Otto

I have a custom board with STM32WB50CGU5 controller. I want to develop an application on this board having BLE, and IRDA.I am able to run the example (p2p Server and p2p Client) given for the STM32WB55 Nucleo board on my custom board without any error and its working fine. Now I want to use the example code for my custom board which has different controller and UART is IRDA.Is it possible to use it?How this can be achieved?

Hello all.I use STM32F4 controller with eMMC external Flash.I use two IDEs:IAR version 8.30STM32CubeIDE version 5.2.0The access to eMMC external Flash succeeds while I use IAR IDE.The access to eMMC external Flash failed while I use STMCubeIDE with same SDIO clock of IAR .I divide by 2 the SDIO clock for STMCubeIDE.The access to eMMC external Flash is better but failed after 10-20 accesses.Can anyone advise what is the problem of STMCubeIDE compiler/linker/optimizer?Thanks in advance.Yacob.

Hi,I'm using the STM32CubeIDE v1.6.1 and using FW.F2.1.9.3 firmware package with are both currently the lastest up to date versions.Setting up an STM32CubeMX project for low layer library to be able to use RTC, the code generator is not working properly.Here is how to generates the code:/** Initialize RTC and set the Time and Date */ RTC_InitStruct.HourFormat = LL_RTC_HOURFORMAT_24HOUR; RTC_InitStruct.AsynchPrescaler = 127; RTC_InitStruct.SynchPrescaler = 255; LL_RTC_Init(RTC, &RTC_InitStruct); LL_RTC_SetAsynchPrescaler(RTC, 127); LL_RTC_SetSynchPrescaler(RTC, 255); /** Initialize RTC and set the Time and Date */ if(LL_RTC_BAK_GetRegister(RTC, LL_RTC_BKP_DR0) != 0x32F2){   RTC_TimeStruct.Hours = 0; RTC_TimeStruct.Minutes = 50; RTC_TimeStruct.Seconds = 0; LL_RTC_TIME_Init(RTC, LL_RTC_FORMAT_BCD, &RTC_TimeStruct); RTC_DateStruct.WeekDay = LL_RTC_WEEKDAY_TUESDAY; RTC_DateStruct.Month = LL_RTC_MONTH_JULY; RTC_DateStruct.Year = 21; LL_RTC_DATE_Init(RTC, LL_RTC

I have a hardware that have on stm32g071 chip and mcp9700 temperature sensor. I tried reading temperature and i read 2040.(ADC 12bit resolution).I also measured directly on hardware using multimeter and i read about 0.7 V So ADC measures wrong. Addition:I read temperature using nucleo board that have on g0 series microprocessor. Is it about hardware ? Any suggestion would be appriciate.

Hi,I have some questions regarding the implementation of an LCD with the STM32F479ii.The display we want to use, has a 800x480 resolution at 60Hz and can have either 16 or 24 bit color depth.A framebuffer for a display like that is of course not going to fit inside the 384kb of internal sram, so we will need external ram.I have read the application note on the LTDC (AN4861) and it does mention that the F479ii supports mapped QSPI sram, but nowhere does it mention using QSPI sram for the framebuffer.Of course QSPI will be slower than a parallel interface to the external ram, but QSPI certainly has a preference over the much simpler hardware design, even when comparing it to a 16 bit interface.So question 1: Is QSPI sram fast enough to be used for the framebuffer, considering that it would be used for nothing but the framebuffer (everything else runs in internal sram)?Then there is the interface to communicate with the display. The F4 supports both 24 bit parallel as well as MIPI DSI. I

I'm setting the FM_MODE bit in SYSCFG.MEMRMP and I get a hardware fault indicating attempted switch to invalid state.

Hello,I found this issue that seems that I still can't find the reason.I am using a STM32F750N8H6 (7BA3Z 9R 1), BGA package on a custom 6 layer board.I manufactured 11 boards, and within those 11, 8 of them the HSI seems to be at 18Mhz although the HSI is supposed to be at 16Mhz. 3 of them are at the described 16Mhz +/- usual tolerance.The support components are the ones recommended in the Hardware Guidelines from ST.Question : What external factors can affect the HSI to such high extent and with high consistency. The clock is quite stable and the MCU are all shifted nicely to 18Mhz internal clock. All the MCUs run fine otherwise, all peripherals, albeit all with wrong clocks, works no problem. The MCUs have been purchased at Mouser and assembled directly out of the box so no tampering before opening the vacuumed bag/tray.How I checked : I've checked several ways, the board having a USART 1 and CAN 1 /2 and several timer routed out, all indicate that the HSI is at 18Mhz ~ and 18.2 Mhz
