Hi Could any one please tell me the difference between ST24DV04K & ST25DV04KC chips? In datasheet for KC , it says that it is Version-C in part ordering infoBoth ICs seem to work from 1.8 V to 5.5VWhat am I missing here?Kind regards

I am using eMMC memory with a STM32F769NI controller. For programming this eMMC I've written an external loader in STM32CubeIDE. My loader works fine with STM32CubePogrammer, but I also want to be able to debug my application from CubeIDE. How can I tell IDE to use my loader? There is a setting "External Loader" in "Debug Cofigurations", but it does not allow you to select your own file, it only has a button "Scan", that lets you choose an external loader from a drop-down list. I don't know how to add new loaders to that list. Does anyone have an idea how to do that?

Hi,I would like to report 2 possible bugs on the rfalST25xVPollerWriteMessage implementation:The msgLen parameter must be "number of Data bytes minus 1", as a direct translation from the "Write message" command, but msgLen == 0 is not accepted as valid (rfal_st25xv.c line 205), failing to write 1 byte-long messages, which according to the ST25DV datasheet should be OK.The required TX buffer len (calculated on line 202, and checked on line 205), considers 2 bytes for the msgLen parameter, but this parameter is only 1 byte long, preventing from using buffers that are the exact (and correct) number of bytes long.Best RegardsGustavo

Hi,I am working on STM32H745 discovery board and trying to configure the onboard 4GB eMMC flash over SDHC1 interface. I am loading default discovery board configuration by the CubeMx configuration, which sets both M7 and M4 and all AHB buses to run at 64MHz (STM32H7 CubeMx Repository v1.8.0).I am configuring the SDMMC peripheral clock to 200MHz and setting clockdiv to 4, this will provide 25MHz clock to the eMMC. My application is running on M7. I want to utilize the IDMA for read/write and using HAL_MMC_ReadBlocks_DMA and HAL_MMC_WriteBlocks_DMA APIs. By using this configuration, the DMA interrupts are resulting in Rx Overrun and Tx Underrun errors.I ran the MMC/DMA example for the discovery board which sets eMMC clock to 50MHz, M7 at 400MHz, M4 at 200MHz. The HCLK for D1 Domain AXI and AHB3 peripherals , D2 Domain AHB1/AHB2 peripherals and D3 Domain AHB4 peripherals at 200MHz.The APB clock dividers for D1 Domain APB3 peripherals, D2 Domain APB1 and APB2 peripherals and D3 Domain

Saludos!Im new to STM32W series. With two P-NUCLEO-WB55 boards on my table im trying to run the BLE_CableReplacement example. It doesnt work out of the box so i opened the readme.txt @par How to use it ?   This application requires having the stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin binary flashed on the Wireless Coprocessor. If it is not the case, you need to use STM32CubeProgrammer to load the appropriate binary. All available binaries are located under /Projects/STM32_Copro_Wireless_Binaries directory. Refer to UM2237 to learn how to use/install STM32CubeProgrammer. Refer to /Projects/STM32_Copro_Wireless_Binaries/ReleaseNote.html for the detailed procedure to change the Wireless Coprocessor binary.I found the binaries already But as i try to follow the release note instructions i get stuck in STEP3 There is no "Start FUS" button anywhere, am i doing the raindance wrong? Also if i try to "firmware upgrade" anyway is asking me for the start flash addr, thats not in any STEP

Hi Sir,We have used the LSM6DS3 part in our application boards. Now the distributor mentioned LSM6DS3 part ha end of life and New part is LSM6DSL.Please confirm this new LSM6DSL part is pin to pin and firmware side compatible with the LSM6DS3 part. Or please share changes .RegardsAnees PK

Hello everyone,I would really like to use the X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1 expansion board in order to transmit power wireless. I read that it should be able to transmit 1.6W of power. At the moment I used the NFC06A1 available library to power up the board. In particular I called the rfalNfcInitialize(), rfalNfcDiscover() and rfalFieldOnAndStartGT(), functions. This way I am able to see that the antennas are functioning properly, but i did some testing and it seems like i can only get very few mA from a receiving antenna.Which is the best way to initialize the board in order to deliver maximum power (regarderless of circumstances)?Thank you very much.

Hello all, my company has decided to use the STM32L03 series for a simple ISO 14443-3 tag reader, and we underestimated how much memory the full rfal takes up. Can anyone help me find an easier way to cut down the provided polling demo into 16k flash or less? I can scrap all other tag types except the T2T /nfc-a, and I only need read functionality. I am slowly working through and trimming the fat, but if there's a smarter way to limit program memory I'd be very thankful.

The MX generated C code issues the USART initiation call before the DMA initiation call. My code simply echoes back any text received by the USART. Unfortunately the echoed data (correct length) is all zeros. The UART read buffer is initialised with zeros. The issue is resolved by simply placing the DMA initiation call before the USART initiation call! What’s going on? Looks like the DMA code upsets something set by the USART code, but what?

I need to use STMCube IDE to work with STEVAL-SMARTAG1. Is there any sample project available ?I might not be required to access any sensors, so if there is any altered code available which only support NFC feature, would be better.#STEVAL-SMARTAG1

I am working on Nucleo-h745ziq board .I am enable the ADC ch3 and 12 bit resolution ,DMA is enabled and circular mode. I connect the 3v supply to ADC channel. But I doesn't get the updated value when I reset board I get updated value, when I disable the cache i get the updated value .Below are the setup I done. Can you please help me to solve this issue.uint8_t flag;__attribute__((section(".buffer"),used)) uint32_t ADCbUFF[1];void HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback(ADC_HandleTypeDef *hadc){ flag=1; } MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_USART3_UART_Init(); MX_DMA_Init(); MX_ADC1_Init(); MX_SPI1_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ HAL_ADCEx_Calibration_Start(&hadc1, ADC_CALIB_OFFSET_LINEARITY, ADC_SINGLE_ENDED); HAL_ADC_Start_DMA(&hadc1, (uint32_t*)ADCbUFF, 1); /* USER CODE END 2 */ /* Infinite loop */ /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) {  /* USER CODE END WHILE */  /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */  if(flag==1)   &n

Of the many things I have been struggling withmSTM32MP157F-DK2 throughout this summer, one of them is the interprocessor communication between A7 and M4. I want A7 to process data and send the refined result to M4 for further low level actions. As many users may agree, information in this wiki is scattered with many branches, and while following one topic you encounter references to many links that end up blowing you out if the device is new to you. I am one blown out that way.I was reading this post https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Coprocessor_resource_table and found that I have to have this code somewher in my M4 firwarewhich I managed (by trial and error) to add in my rsc_table.c as (note sure if that was correct) Then found rhat I also have to add this code somewhere, but not sure where: whether it is in A7 Linux userland or in M4 firware. Played around many times for over 14 hours and got frustrated.can anyone help me?

The gcc variant in STM32MPU Embedded Software distribution components is 'arm-ostl-linux-gnueabi-gcc'. Then what's the difference between 'arm-ostl-linux-gnueabi-gcc' and 'arm-none-linux-gnueabi-gcc'?Thanks.

The datasheet (https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/st25dv16k.pdf) states that "The impedance on LDP pin when set high doesn't exceed 5kΩ.", which means that a lot of power is wasted just signalling the IC to power down. Am I interpreting this wrong or is the datasheet wrong?

TLDR: Is there a simple way (or at least clear step-by-step instructions) to reset the P-NUCLE-WB55 back to the firmware it was delivered with?Full:I have a P-Nucleo-WB55 and am trying to develop a project with it. I ran the "Getting Started" demo on the back of the pack and it worked brilliantly, so I got in with my project development. This started with a simple project to run a sensor using the SPI interface which worked fine. I then went to try some BLE development which is why I got this board. Unfortunately, this is where my problems start. I was trying the BLE HeartRate demo and no matter what i did I couldn't get it to work. I followed the instructions for the FUS and BLE stack update and spent the next 24 hours thinking I had bricked the board as it would no longer do anything (I followed the ST instructions verbatim). I finally managed to get the update to work by using a mix of instructions from here and reddit on top of the ST release notes.Anyway, I now have the most rect

The chip is:STM32F429When I was using the downloaded QRcode program, I found that the program crashed. The use method is as follows:

I'm mounting SPV1050 on PCB. In my application, I'm using a PV cell as input to the IC and takes the output from Vbatt to charge a battery. I am not using LDO or anything extra.. no use of store too. Is it right if I make Pin 5,6,7,8,11,12,17 open circuit?

I've build all part (linux, tf-a, u-boot) in stm32cubeide, acording to my device tree configured in cube.I would like to ask if there is short way to create sd-card image from cube gui? If not, could any one share way how to do that from build to ready image.I found this tutorial https://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_populate_the_SD_card_with_dd_commandbut i can't find the script.i'm using vitrual machine with ubuntu 20.04Sory if question will be trival. I'm new in linux compilation. Usualy i used already prepared.

Hello , Is the BlueZ supported or added in the Distribution or developer or starter image?I tried running bluetoothd -v to get the version of the bluetoothd (and hence the Bluez which has this demon built) but I got this :root@stm32mp1:~# bluetoothd -v-sh: bluetoothd: not foundI then tried building the Distribution package which has this meta-connectivity layer where there is BlueZ is in add on Recipes ( https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP15_OpenSTLinux_release_note)bluez5meta-st/meta-st-openstlinux/recipes-connectivity/bluez5/bluez5_%.bbappendDo I have to add this layer? or will it be built by bitbake st-image-weston? Using bitbake st-image-weston and fishing the image gives the same result. Please tell the steps to build and use BlueZ and all the utilities it provides (bluetoothd, meshctl)Thanks in advance !Regards,D

I need to run TIM8 on Encoder mode. My encoder has two channels (A and B 90 degrees), So I have used two channel TIM_CHANNEL_1 and TIM_CHANNEL_2 as encoder input (it will use encoder as a clock for TIM8) and my timer is working fine and CNT is updating as I am rotating the encoder. Now, I want to use the INPUT CAPTURE SIGNAL for TIM8. So I am using TIM_CHANNEL_3 as input capture channel. I need to capture count at both edges, So I set CC1NP/CC1P = 0x11 but as per RM0385 page 687, I can't do that for both edges. It says "This configuration must not be used in encoder mode". But CubeMX IDE is allowing me to do so. I think I can't use TIM_CHANNEL_1 or TIM_CHANNEL_2 as INPUT CAPTURE with both EADGE detection, but I can use TIM_CHA

I am trying to set RTC-alarm event to wake up an STM32F103C8T6 from sleep-mode (not standby, not stop) and it works once, but subsequent alarms never wake the MCU up. Nothing I've tried seems to work and I no longer have any idea how to fix this. The code is on pastebin, since this forum-software doesn't let me paste it here: https://pastebin.com/AzHiAxhw
