Hi everyone,I am using an AEK-MCU-C1MLIT1 development kit to in and output PWM, which work at least for EMIOS0 channel 0 output on pin PD15 of the SPC582B60E1 processor.Nevertheless, it is not easy to comprehend, which group and channel number in the SPC5Studio Low Level Driver Wizard corresponds to the UC0-UC31 pins of the processor. According to RM0403 on page 752, the different channels support different modes. Here as a picture for easy reference:So far so good. That's why I planned using pins UC13,UC14 and UC15 as IPWM inputs and using UC16 as OPWFMB.In the configuration wizard groups 1-3 only allow OPWMB or OPWMT mode. And on the group 0 channels, IPWM is not a selectable option. So my questions:Is there a way to setup UC13,14 and 15 in IPWM mode with the LLD tool in SPC5Studio?If not, how is the correct order of steps to manually configure the eMIOS channels accordingly? Is it possible to set UC16 as output PWM mode while the other UCs are configured as IPWM?In the PWM configuratio

Has anyone encountered this problem? An ORE error occurs when receiving data with LPUART. After I clear it with software, an ORE error occurs every time I receive data. How can I solve it?

I am using an ST25TV02K-AD6H3 NFC tag IC with a printed antenna for RFID communication. As per the NFC tag antenna design guideline, the required antenna inductance is 5.95 uH. I designed an antenna using the ST eDesign Suite software with dimensions to obtain the required inductance. I printed the antenna out and attached the ST25TV tag IC to it using an electronically conducting adhesive. When I try to communicate with it using the ST NFC sensor app on my iPhone, it gives out a SmarTag Response Error. What does this error mean and how can it be resolved?

Hello,I'm working on a ultra low power application using the LSM6DSO32X. The goal is to have a device that reacts (with a short radio message) when its orientation relative to gravity changes. For this I wish to use as much as possible the FSM and the MLC to wake up the MCU only when it is really required.I'm working with the STEVAL-MKI109V3 in conjunction with UNICO to produce the FSM/MLC configurations, once the basic configuration works, it will be ported to the final architecture. This was to give an overview. Now the device works as expected with a fixed threshold, however, in the final product, the threshold is supposed to be dynamically adjusted at runtime in the range [-1g; 1g]. Is it possible to do it just by writing the new value into the advanced features dedicated page? Is there any specific procedure to follow? Thanks,Davide.

I am using this chip to get the X & Y angle of the unit. First read outOUTX_L_XL (28h) & 29hOUTY_L_XL (2Ah) & 2BhOUTZ_L_XL (2Ch) &2Dhand calculate Roll and Pitch.  The angles works good in normal / slow moving or stable condition. Also need to detect if device is not up side down ( where Z value is negative ).However, if the device drop fast from high to low, Z value will suddenly become negative for that short acceleration period and so the situation consider to be an up side down. Did anyone try that? Is that normal? how can we solve it?Thanks!Martin

The MCU of STM selects the external crystal, whether to choose a high frequency or a low one, what are the instructions? For example, for stm32L486, the datasheet gives the maximum main frequency as 80MHz, so 4Mhz, 8Mhz, 16Mhz, 20Mhz, 40Mhz can be reached by multiplying the external crystal. So which frequency is the most suitable one to choose? What is the principle to choose? Are there any rules and regulations? For example, the consideration of EMI, power consumption, etc.

We planning to use M24LR discovery board (RF Transceiver board) with android phone to read our NFC based devices to program. Can any one provide documentation links and android drivers to work with our non NFC based Android phone to avoid NFC based phone

I have a problem. My application should use port 8888. I wrote an application in Python 3.5 that uses the address and port 8888 that I need. But Linux issues a diagnosis that port 8888 is already occupied by another task. How to release port 8888.? The Netstat program gives a diagnosis that port 8888 is busy application. Sincerely, Alexander.

Hi!This might be a long shot but I'm having some rendering issues with the flex button and slider on my device. Everything works perfectly in the touchgfx simulator however I'm getting a weird image glitch once a button has been released on the actual hardware. Additionally the buttons glitch in the exact same way every time which makes me think something internally is accessing the framebuffer when it shouldn't be. I've attached two videos demonstrating the issue. One of them I have slowed the system clock right down so that the issue is clearly visible. My setup:Custom SPI displayNo OSDual Frame bufferDMA2D enabledInternal flash & RamNUCLEO-F767ZII've been wracking my brain for the last two weeks trying to figure this out so any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated! Cheers

I am using STM32F072RB Nucleo board and in the technical reference manual it is mentioned that "Please refer to the “Alternate function mapping? table in the device datasheet for the detailed mapping of the alternate function I/O pins.". But I am not able to find any details on alternate function mapping details in the datasheet of STM32F072RB. It would be really helpful if someone could help me in finding the alternate function mapping details.

Device Used : STM32F030C8, 48pin LQFP48I am driving MOC3043 Opto-Isolated Triac Driver so I need atleast 5 mA current sourced from the GPIO outputGPIO used with the MOC3043 is PA15 max current observed is 4.86mAOnly a single GPIO is configured at a time with all other peripherals/pins in reset state.GPIO is configured as Push-Pull Output with the pull-up/pull-down resistors disabled.GPIO used to drive a 3mm LED takes around 4mA. Adding multiple LEDs in parallel keeps the total current drawn at ~4.86ATotal current supplied to the STM32F030C8 from the 3.3V DC supply is around 10mAI tried other GPIO pins like PA12, PB12 but see the same resultsI tried several STM32F030C8 ICs from the lot and I see the same resultsI even reconfigured the circuit as Open-Drain but still see the current limited to <5mAI disconnected the STM32F030C8 and directly connected the 3.3V DC supply to circuit driving the MOC3043 input (through a 200E resistor) and the MOC3043 was triggered drawing around 8.3mAI tr

I have a project created by STM32CubeIDE 1.7.0. Its now impossible for me to change the device configuration, e.g. adding a new peripheral or change anything in a defined peripheral. The device configuration seems to work, but the code generator does not change anything in the source files. It used to work, so any ideas?

I have a blackpill board with STM32F411 48 pins IC and CubeMX/CubeIDE at lastest versions. The USB is configured as device CDC, no Vbus. When I flash the board with generated code and plug USB in Windows 10 I get an error "invalid device descriptor". I have increased heap to 0x1000 without success. It not seems a hardware issue because I can enter the board in DFU and flash or erase device using CubeProgrammer.Any help will be apreciated.Leonardo

Hello I've created a project that has created an elf file: However, when I run debug on STM32CubeIDE I get the following message: Can anyone advise, please? I've not had this problem before with STM32G071, but am trying with STM32F413.Thanks

Dear Experts,We have a design requirement with STM32H755 to work with Parallel Redundancy Protocol (PRP). Any relevant help or sources available. Thanks in advance.

Hi,I'm using STM32F407VG on STM32F4 DISC board and CubeMX. I want to have USB in CDC and MSC mode, but I can't find how to configure it in this mode. Is it possible to do using CubeMX?If not, can I do it using HAL? Thanks!

I understand the general concept of why global variables are not a great idea but I have a specific use that may make sense and I'd like to see if anyone has a better approach.I time stamp a lot of events in my applications and also calculate time intervals to make sure activities complete in a defined amount of time. So, I need a quick way to get a timestamp that is accurate to something less than 0.1 seconds. Here's what I'm doing now in my main.cpp://sysTickCounter is supposed to be a quick way to get time differences for timeout purposes //TODO need to check to see if it's accurate   uint64_t sysTickCounter = 0; extern "C" void SysTick_Handler(void) { HAL_IncTick(); sysTickCounter++; }and I can declare sysTickCounter as an extern wherever I need it like this:extern uint64_t sysTickCounter; This seems to work so far but I'd be very interested if someone has a better way. Thanks

Hi everyone .I'm looking for a demo code to run the SD card (16gb) with FatFs on the STM32H757 i-EVAL Board. When I generate it with CubeMx the demonstration doesn't work (I didn't forget to activate the transiver)Thanks you =)

I downloaded latest STM32Flash loader for using the UART boot loaderbut it does not select and see the STM32H743Zi Nucleo boardi searched and found that version 2.8 which i am using does not have MAP file for the H7 Series The flash loader do support STM32 H7, where can i find a version with support for this chip? Thanks!

Hello ,I am working on the stm32f070c6 controller , i am reading the adc values from controller and passing to the serial monitor of USB virtual COM port, but i want to checksum the values before transmitting the adc values to the serial monitor .how can i do it, if somebody have any idea please give me suggestion to how to checksum the adc values (theory wise I am sure).Best regardsraj

I am trying USART communication with using DMA. Code written with HAL library is working on STM32F0 but it doesn't work on L0. I am getting irrelevant data at terminal. Also HAL_UARTEx_RxEventCallback function can called on F0 but not on L0.Here is the some of my code.Where I am wrong ?/* USER CODE BEGIN PV */   #define RxBuf_SIZE 10 #define MainBuf_SIZE 10   char TxBuffer[4]={0x12,0x34,0x56,0x78}; uint8_t RxBuffer[RxBuf_SIZE],MainBuf[MainBuf_SIZE];   char str[24]; int sayi=0; uint16_t oldPos = 0; uint16_t newPos = 0;   int isOK = 0;   /* USER CODE END PV */   /* Private function prototypes -----------------------------------------------*/ void SystemClock_Config(void); /* USER CODE BEGIN PFP */   /* USER CODE END PFP */   /* Private user code ---------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN 0 */   void HAL_UART_TxHalfCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { __NOP(); }   void HAL_UARTEx_RxEventCallback(UAR

I'm new to embedded design, and I'm trying to wrap my head around the pinouts of the STM32L051K8T6. It says on the webpage it has two SPI buses, however the datasheet it seems to list one (SPI1) in two separate places (pins 11,12,13 & pins 21, 22, 26)I was wondering, does this mean it's technically the same bus? I can see the large packages (not 32 pin but 64,) has both SPI1 and SPI2 where this MCU only lists SPI1 twice.Any clarification would be appreciated :)

Hello,I am attempting to write a first stage bootloader that will load a second stage from SD card into RAM and then jump to this application. The program works when I load the second stage to flash and jump to it and when I run it in RAM with the Debugger. However when I change the linker script to RAM.ld and place the program in RAM manually at location 0x20008000 and to a size of 64k and then jump to it I get a hard fault. One note is that I am also failing my CRC check when I load ram and run CRC on the data loaded, However the same code will pass when CRC is run through the loaded flash. Please see the code used to jump to flash 0x08008000 and then ram 0x20008000 /** * @brief A new UserApp Fw was available. Start to download it * @param None * @note This function must set the next State Machine State * @retval None */ uint8_t jump_to_application(uint32_t address) { // uint32_t jump_address ; typedef void (*Function_Pointer)(void); Function_Pointer p_jump_to_function;   d

I'm using an STM32G431 using differential outputs on channel 1. On the scope, my deadtime is set where the channels overlap instead of having deadtime:channel1 ___-------___ ------__------- channel1_nHow can I reverse the direction of the deadtime?Here is my PWM setup:#define PWM_TICKS_PER_ISR_TICK ((uint16_t)(1)) #define PWM_FREQ_KHZ ((float_t)(27.0)) #define PWM_SRC_FREQ_MHz ((float_t)(170.0)) obj->pwmHandle->Instance = TIM1; obj->pwmHandle->Init.Prescaler = 0; obj->pwmHandle->Init.CounterMode = TIM_CR1_CMS_0; obj->pwmHandle->Init.Period = (uint32_t)(pwmSourceClock_MHz * (float_t)1000.0 * (float_t)0.5 / pwmFrequency_kHz); obj->pwmHandle->Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; obj->pwmHandle->Init.RepetitionCounter = PWM_TICKS_PER_ISR_TICK * 2 - 1; obj->pwmHandle->Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_ENABLE; if (HAL_TIM_Base_Init(obj->pwmHandle) != HAL_OK) { obj->error = error_HAL_TIM_Base_Init; Err

More specifically, the doc's say status 6 means "wrap around not performed". What is wrap around? Is this a bad condition? Thanks,Dave
