we need to know the replacement of the VNH2SP30-E

Hello. i am using stm32L0 family.i have ST-Link V3. its working fine with st link utility tool. i can connect using cli command with normal mode. so the issue is Connect under Reset. CLI command is not working if i connect in Connect under Reset mode.ST-LINK_CLI.exe -c ID=0 SWD UR LPM output STM32 ST-LINK CLI v3.5.0.0STM32 ST-LINK Command Line Interface[UR]: Connect under Reset is available only on ST-LINK/V2!st link utility tool can connect Under Reset mode but not cli exe.

As reported in the datasheet, "a 47 KOhm pullup resistor is required" on the LPn signal. In that case the power state machine goes from POWER OFF to HP IDLE during the power up sequence. What would the device state be if the LPn signal was low during the power up sequence? Is it conceivable to assume that the subsequent device state would be the LP IDLE?I am asking that because I would need to share a control signal that is normally pulled down at startup.Thank youBR

I've designed a custom PCB incorporating STM32F401RE. I've received the first batch of PCB and attempted to program one, but STM32CubeIDE raises the error line as in the title ("No device found on target").I've kept the design (see image) as close as possible to the Nucleo64-F401RE, and also cross-checked AN4488 ("Getting started with STM32F4xxxx MCU hardware development").I couldn't find any red flags so far, but maybe some of the fellow forum members could give me a critique of the design. Am I missing crucial details? Please note that I've deleted a good number components that are not required for programming; These are not yet soldered onto the PCB so the schematic reflects the circuit as-is.I further run tested a number of basic tests which mostly came out ok:Supply voltages (5V, 3.3V) are stable and dont appear to have noticable consumption No warming of anything on the PCBNo short circuits in the between the pins of the ICAll pins seem to have contactScope shows sensible signals

Hello, I am working with STM32MP157 device based on OpenStlinux. Everything is working fine on the main processor and the cortex M4 MCU. Now I am trying to create a systemd service to launch the M4 firmware with systemctl commands from the user space in the linux, but with no success. Here are contents of my .service file: [Unit]Description= Cortex M4 Firmware Programe[Service]Type=simpleExecStart=/lib/firmware/fw_cortex_m4.sh 'start'ExecStop=/lib/firmware/fw_cortex_m4.sh 'stop'ExecReload=/lib/firmware/fw_cortex_m4.sh 'start'[Install]WantedBy=multi-user.targetPlease note that I can start/stop the firmware by the script fw_cortex_m4.sh. The systemd service lauche does not throw any error but the firmware does not run. I would appreciate any help to make it work. Thanks

This happened, i am still able to compile and debug code. But all the autocomplete (Ctrl+space), funcion linking (ctrl+ left click) and search tools....all nice coding aid features are gone. what is causing this, is there any way of fixing it without erasing the entire workspace?

Hi folks,,, I would like to understand how much is the effort of doing the porting from MCU STM32F746ZG  to MCU STM32F767ZGT6 ...How many changes I should made? Thanks a lot for this information but now the situation with the supply of micro as you know ia very bad

I run an example project which has 250 ms HAL_Delay with led blinking in while loop, and also an HAL_UART_Transmit_IT function which prints "Hello world!" with HAL_UART_TxCpltCallback calling itself.250 ms led blink is not lagging and printing also works.Quesition is; since interrupt also requires CPU, why led blinking is not lagging ?Doesn't the interrupt just change the flow of the code which will be executed by the CPU?

Hello All,STM32L0 series microcontrollers flashed by UART but STM32G0 series microcontroller are not able to flashed by UART.So question is "What is the way to flash STM32G0 series microcontrollers using UART"

Hello every one , i'm using a STM32L100RX, i am using PC11 and PC10 ports as USART3, so far everything it's okay, but i need to use the same usart (USART3) on the PB11 and PB10 pins...i need configure these pins in runtime because i have another device on it! something like multiplexor, so what i do?¿this is my code:GPIO_InitTypeDef def,def2;   HAL_GPIO_DeInit(GPIOB,GPIO_PIN_11); //Deinit port 11 and 10 of B PORT HAL_GPIO_DeInit(GPIOB,GPIO_PIN_10);   def.Alternate = GPIO_AF7_USART3; def.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; def.Mode = GPIO_MODE_AF_PP; def.Pin = GPIO_PIN_11; def.Speed = GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_HIGH; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOC,&def);   def2.Alternate = GPIO_AF7_USART3; def2.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; def2.Mode = GPIO_MODE_AF_PP; def2.Pin = GPIO_PIN_10; def2.Speed = GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_HIGH; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOC,&def2); //Set now the usart 3 to the desired PORTbut it doesn't work...any idea?¿Regards!

hello!i am working with the stm32h745 dual core nucleo dev board.currently, i am trying to create a constant pulse on a GPIO output pin which belongs to the M4 core every 40 ms.when i run with the m4 alone the pulse is very accurate and looks perfect.when i run both cores (m7, and m4) the pulse looses sync and dosent appear to be correct.i do not understand this since i configured that gpio to belong to strickly m4, it is indipendent and not supposed to be effected by the M7.Please advise on how the run of the M7 core effects the M4? nd what could be the reasons to my problem?

Hello,I have developed an application based on lwIP and freeRTOS for STM32F746NGH6. The code was generated using STM32CubeMX, freeRTOS version 10.2.1, CMSIS-RTOS version 2.00 and Cube FW F7 V1.16.1.The application runs a webserver and receives data from a client at the rate X Bytes/min.The program crashes after around 60 hours. To quickly test this, I reduced the datareception rate at X Bytes/4sec. The program crashed after around 10 minutes. The analysisusing fault analyzer of STM32CubeIDE showed that the cause of the crash is precise data bus access error (PRECISERR).The cause of error seems to be the function HAL_ETH_GetReceivedFrame_IT. Please see theattached snapshots (good case and bad case). According to me, at the time of crash, the address of RXDesc ist invalid which is causing the PRECISERR. Normally the address of RXDesc is 0x2004C000 but I do not understand how this is getting corrupted. This is an excerpt from my linker script:/* Memories definition */MEMORY{ RAM (xrw) : OR

Hi everyone .... due to the problem of the getting the components.. I would like to understand in your opinion which is the difference between STM32F746ZGT6 and STM32F756ZGT6.. Can I port the code easily ? Which changes I should do ? Thanks

HelloI'm working with a custom HW with a STM32H753 controller. The operating system is Keil RTX and Keil Middleware is used.I have a 272x480 display connected to LTDC (RGB565).I also have ethernet functionality implemented with a LAN8742A PHY and one USB Host (MSC).For Networking and USB, Keil Middleware is used. Now my 2 problems:1: Ethernet connection is working fine (Link is up and running) when connecting my board to a switch or hub. When connecting our board directly to the pc/notebook (point to point connection) without the use of a switch, then the link is up for a short time (1-1.5s) and then loses it. This cycle is repeated endlessly. When disabling TouchGFX (removing the signal vsync), both connection variants (with and without switch/hub) are working without any problems. As far as I know, the link is brought up by the PHY and has nothing to do with my firmware, all it needs is a 25MHz clock and then the link shoud be established.I'm clueless as of why the deactivation of TouchGF

Hello,I'm using TouchGFX with STM32H757i-eval board I'm finding it difficult to configure for TouchGFX with RTOS.Is it mandatory to use RTOS while using TouchGFX.According to this link TouchGFX can be configured without RTOS.https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/basic-concepts/operating-systemCould you please provide an example on how to configure TouchGFX with RTOS.As all the examples that I have referred use RTOS.

Hi,I'm having difficulty in creating multiple screens, currently, it already has 5+ screens and they all works fine through code (void FrontendApplicationBase::gotoMainScreenNoTransition() ) but when I tries to add one more screen, TouchGFX is not generating the Screen Transition Declarations code for new screen but it does declaring this in FrontendApplicationBase.cpp class :#include <gui/aldetruma_screen/NewScreenView.hpp>#include <gui/aldetruma_screen/NewScreenPresenter.hpp>while for all other screens it has generated the following:void FrontendApplicationBase::gotoMainScreenNoTransition(){  transitionCallback = touchgfx::Callback<FrontendApplicationBase>(this, &FrontendApplication::gotoMainScreenNoTransitionImpl);  pendingScreenTransitionCallback = &transitionCallback;}Any thoughts will be very helpful.

I have a stm32h7b3i dk, after loading a program created by me (with stlink firmware update) I can no longer connect, to load another sample project.

Hello,I have a STM32F723 Application with TouchGFX (4.16.1) Graphics over SPI and a Display with RM69330 Controler (454x454x2Bpp).I use PartitialBuffer Configuration, because internal RAM is too small for whole Framebuffer. I've implemented the Transmit Function ("touchgfxDisplayDriverTransmitBlock( uint8_t* pixels, uint16_t x, uint16_t y, uint16_t w, uint16_t h)") where I set Position Rectangle in Display Controler and write Pixels to the Display. That works fine if x/y/w/h are a multiple of 2 otherwise it looks weired.Problem is: In RM69330 DataSheet it says that Column and Row Startaddress and Width / Height "must can be divisible by 2".Question: Is there any way to tell TouchGFX to only supply framebuffer parts with x/y/w/h as a multiple of 2? Or is there any other Known solution?

I'm just learning to read and use schematics and I found that while physically the MCU (STM32F407VG on my STM32F4 Discovery board) is marked U4 as the part number on the PCB, the schematic (Section "STM32Fx" of "MB997-F407VGT6-D01_Schematic.pdf") shows 2 separate blocks U4A and U4B. I understand that U4A is the ports with the pins for I/O or peripheral interfacing. I have the following questions:What exactly is U4B?Why is U4 split this way?It would be great if I get answers to the above questions. I have attached a screen grab of the same below.

Hello, I have succeeded in accessing (r/w) an SD card with STM32F103C8 blue pill and a microSD adapter using SPI in a master/slave configuration. Now I want to go to the next level by using 2 SD cards in a master / multiple slave configuration.According to documentation I should have one separate slave select pin (SS or CS) for each SD card and the rest of the pins shared ( VCC, GND, SCLK, MOSI, MISO).I know how to change CS when working with one slave, now my question is: when there are multiple slaves what should I do with the rest of the CS pins so the do not interfere while working with one card ? Should I keep them always high, always low or should they be changed to the opposite level as the one I am working with? Thank you guys for your help

I have a set up where I'm reading from ADC1 via DMA1 S0 into a circular buffer in RAM2. The problem is that it is randomly skipping samples. I initialise the buffer to a known bad value so I can see that some addresses in the buffer are not being overwritten. If I feed a sine into the input, the picture at the bottom of this post is what I get out. The flat line at the top is the pre-initialised data. The gaps in the sine wave are not in the same place each time. The gaps are in clusters of 8 samples or multiples of 8 samples.I started with running the ADC in continuous mode but am now triggering from a timer. The timer for triggering the ADC1 is LPTIM1 running at 16.384kHz. I have only a single rank.I've deliberately put the memory buffer at 0x30000000 to avoid bus conflicts with the cpu.I am running a CUBEMX with freertos set-up. I've tried disabling all other activity. The only cpu activity is the idle loop and a single suspended task. The system tick timer interrupt will be firing

HI, I am trying to port one of ST's security hands on labs for firmware protection that targeted v3.1.3 of the CryptoLib package, to v4.0.1 of the CryptoLib package. It seems like the "legacy" v3.1.3 interfaces for SHA256_Init() / Append() / and Finish() (see screen shot below) have changed since I am getting unresolved symbols for these SHA256 calls when I try and link to the library in the new Crypto package. Would someone know where I can get information about the new interfaces for these functions? I searched the header files in v4.0.1 of the crypto package and was not able to find any files that describe equivalent functions. The ST firmware protection hands on lab that I am trying to port to v4.0.1 Crypto package is described in my earlier post here - https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W000018Sf7hSAC/cryptolib-for-stm32go

Background: I use the stm32373c evaluation board to make project. One part of the project is to use the 16bit SDADC to acquire sinewaveform generated from function generator and send the data to pc sw thr. uart. I follow the evaluation board example called "SDADC_Voltmeter" and modify the code for my own use. I found I cannot get the whole sinwaveform because many data has the same value, they are not continuous. I am not sure if there's important SDADC configuration setting I need to notice? The attachment is the waveform pic get from pc sw thr. uart, inner debug screenshot and the "SDADC_Voltmeter" example code. Thanks for help!  I also try to use the Inner debug to watch the data acquired from sdadc, unfortunately they are the same issue... many number is the same, not continuous...
