Hello,I found unexpected behaviour in clock tree: when I change CGM_SC_DC2 divider - it affects another line in the diagram (the one with "FBRIDGE_CLK"). And when I change CMG_SC_DC3 divider - it affects the line above ("PBRIDGE_CLK").Best,Yannek

Hello,I'm designing a board based on STM32MP1 and we decided to use the STPMIC1A to manage the power. The board is really simple and so we use only the bucks (1 for core, 2 for ddr, 3 for vdd and 4 for extra 3.3). All others (LDOs; boost and switches) are not used. We do not use termination for the DDR3 and the Vref is generated in another way. My intuition would be to connect input to ground and output left open. Am I right? Also, is it necessary to deactivate them by I2C to reduce the power consumption of the chip?Regards,Charles

Hi all, I am now working with STM32F205 ADC1 w/ code generated by STM32CubeMX. I find that ADC pin has a 0.5V output even it is unconnected (floating). I tried pin PC0 (channel 10) and PC1 (channel 11) one by one and both have the same problem. After some debugging, I find that this is due to the "End of Conversion Selection". If EOC is chosen as single channel, everything alright. But if I use end of all channel, voltage go wired. But I can't run in continuous mode if I choose single channel. So does anyone face the same problem? Attached please find my project in VS codeBR, Sin

I'm testing TouchGFX on an STM32WB55 Nucleo Board. I configured the board using CubeMX, and designed a very simple screen in TouchFGX 4.18. I'm using an SPI LCD with ARGB222 format, and a partial buffer (just 1 block of 20 lines). Variable 'memory' is correctly allocated when debugging (MDK_ARM).Returning from allocateBlock(), the program goes into abort() function (called by _ZN8touchgfx3HAL27configurePartialFrameBufferEtttt). Am I missing something from the configuration?

What do I need to do to be able to be able to set the time through the use of a push button. Is there a way to set the hours and min separately or does the RTC need to be set all at once? Here is my call back function where I am trying to set just the hours for the time being.void HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Falling_Callback(uint16_t GPIO_Pin) {   RTC_TimeTypeDef sTime; if (GPIO_Pin == B1_Pin ) { HAL_RTC_SetTime(&hrtc, &sTime, RTC_FORMAT_BCD); sTime.Hours++; }   if (GPIO_Pin == B2_Pin) { HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(LD3_GPIO_Port, LD3_Pin); }       }Thanks Jacamo

I think those two values are for HDR(High Dynamic Range). Am I right?1. If so, is it possible to use the same value for VL53L0X_VCSEL_PERIOD_PRE_RANGE and VL53L0X_VCSEL_PERIOD_FINAL_RANGE?The amplitude(brightness) of the reflective sheet gradually lowers(darkens) with distance, but at a certain distance it jumps up and then begins to lower(darken).I think there is a VCSEL period switching for the reflective sheet at the certain distance. If I use the same VCSEL periods, I think there is no jump of the amplitude.2. If it is not possible to use the same value for VL53L0X_VCSEL_PERIOD_PRE_RANGE and VL53L0X_VCSEL_PERIOD_FINAL_RANGE, could I know which VCSEL Period the VL53L0X used?Best Regards,Wooijin

Hello!I have a 100 kHz external singal connected to a GPIO input (PD7), at the moment I am generating the signal with a good signal generator so it has very little jitter. What I want to do is measure the length of the period of each one of 4096 succesive periods without skipping any.My program is very simple:I have TIMER 2 running at full speed in 32 bit mode. Rising edge interrupts at PD7 call a function that saves the timer value first in a static variable, then clear the timer and save the read value in a static uint32_t [4096] buffer, when the buffer is full I deactivate the interrupts and the process is finished. In a later stage, I send the stored values through the LPUART1 (that is connected to the ST-Link) to a computer. While the periods is being measured nothing else is taking place, the main program is stuck in a case value waiting for a variable to change. What I am seeing is that the periods are measured correctly except that every 700us approximately, one period value is

I don't see any crypto.h file in the entire workspace how will I get this file

Hi,Follow the instruction in the README.md, I can compile and load the code into the kit, and the code is working fine. Please share me some information how to debug "TFM_Appli secure" and "TFM_Appli non secure" project? Thanks,QiZhang

There seems to be a bug in the clock configuration for STM32H750XBHx. D1CPRE clock should be able to go up to 480MHz, but Cube won't take anything higher than 200MHz. HCLK is affected as well, can't set it to anything higher than 100MHzAndy

Looking at the code, i see file sf_probe.c with .id      = UCLASS_SPI_FLASH, that performs the id reading. How can i use stm32_spi.c with .id         = UCLASS_SPI, driver instead? and send "raw" spi data?

In my application, UCPD2 will be active for USB type C PD Sink (45W), which will be working together with other peripherals, such as timers, USB(DEVICE), etc. If the driving clock for UCPD2 is HSI16(in datasheet described), if no other choice, that means i have to use the HSI clock source for the whole projects. That means there are no chance to choose HSE. Is that correct? But actually, PD is only a part of the system, not the whole in my application. Could you please gibe me some suggestions? Thanks.

In the Device Configuration Tool it allows you to name pins. But it appears my program is not aware of those pin names and I cannot find any .h or .c file where the mapping is defined. The are only defined in a .ioc file, which the compiler does not use.I would have thought the Code Generator would have done that. So I have to make my own .h file with the mapping defined.

Hi everyone,I am new to the ST world and I'm having some doubts about my evaluation.I'm researching for the BlueNRG-LP controllers. As I am sure that the LP series support Ble Mesh so why can't I find the Mesh example for BlueNRG-LP in the STSW_BNRG_Mesh(It contains only BlueNRG-1 and BlueNRG-2 examples) SDK. Kindly help me to find valuable resources using which I can develop the Mesh application on BlueNRG-LP.

We have developed our control system around CAN bus 2.0, but we are trying to move up to the H7, and it only has CAN FD. The question is, can CAN bus FD be configured for operating like CAN bus 2.0?

Hi,I want to calibrate the RTC. So I need one timer to count the pulses from RTC.The RTC clock source.(LSE external oscillator 32768 Hz) needs to be the clock source for one of the timers. In the reference design (RM0434) page 682 there are multiple clock source but I don't see the RTC_CLK.

Hello, does anyone know the correct procedure to tune the PI parameters for the ST FOC motor control solution? My configuration:ST Motor Control Workbench v5.Y.3ST Motor Pilot V0.9.0 (or 5.Y.3 depending on where you read it)FW Package v1.26.1Not that is should matter, but I am using a Nucleo 446RE controller with the STDRIVE101 eval board with 48V supply.I am able to generate, build and load, I am using a BLDC with hall sensors. Everything works fine, I have some PI parameters where it runs ok.In the Motor pilot I see PI parameters for Speed, Torque, and Flux. I am interested in speed control for my application.I have noticed the altering the flux PI parameter and the speed PI parameters both effect the motor control. My questions is what is the correct procedure for tuning the parameters, again I am only interested in speed control. Do I tune flux first then speed, other way around, both at the same time, just one and not the other, etc...?Maybe someone know of an application note or yo

I'm looking for a drop in replacement for the TI TLC5926IPWPR LED driver. It's 16 channel constant current LED driver. Max current is set via an external resistor, but we can also adjust the current via the SPI interface.Does ST have this as well? I do not need error detection feature. Just need to adjust the current via SPI bus.5mA to 61mA output current.I looked at the STP16CPC26 but it uses the ~OE pin as a PWM input to adjust the current, so it's not a constant current source unless the max current trips. If I'm understanding that right. I need to be able to adjust the current and still have it be a constant current source.

I noticed that after I flash the ST starter package root filesystem, at first boot there is a check on bad blocks and a resize of the partitions, while when I flash the exported root filesystem, there is no checks and some partitions are not resized to the full size.For instance, when doing df, i get:Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on devtmpfs 377684 0 377684 0% /dev /dev/mmcblk1p4 703328 498552 155760 77% / tmpfs 445508 0 445508 0% /dev/shm tmpfs 445508 17300 428208 4% /run tmpfs 445508 0 445508 0% /sys/fs/cgroup tmpfs 445508 12 445496 1% /tmp /dev/mmcblk1p2 59365 30635 24144 56% /boot /dev/mmcblk1p3 14839 6900 6793 51% /vendor tmpfs 445508 20 445488 1% /var/volatile /dev/mmcblk1p5 122835 4084 109577 4% /usr/local tmpfs 89100 0 89100 0% /run/user/0But /usr/local should be 2.9G.Thank you for any help.Lidia

Hello,I am going to replace STM32F107 instead of F105 in my design, and as I see F107 has only one serial interface I2C1. In my case, I need both I2C1 and I2C2. Is there any way I can remap or define some pins as I2C2?Thank you.
