On the STM32MP157C-DK2, can I use/interface the available muRata 1Dx with core-M4 only (& not core-A7)? I am not quite sure if the wifi module 1dx (U8 on the kit) is controlled by A7 or M4?Anyways, I want to interface it with M4. So, can it be possible?

Hi , Can anyone help to understand how to use the available driver for vd6283TX ambient light sensor as i was able to read the device id and revision id of the device from the driver but the data ready flag is not in a state to read the data, and hence there is no data when i call "VD6283TX_GetValues()".Any reference document i should refer? Here is the sequence of API's i am using:VD6283TX_Object_t LSstruct;uint32_t data[6]; LSstruct.handle = &hi2c1; uint8_t ret = VD6283TX_Init(&LSstruct); VD6283TX_Start(&LSstruct,0); ret = VD6283TX_GetValues(&LSstruct,data);TIA,Bipin Chavan

Hi,I would like to have SPI2_CLK signal available on the CN2 connector (STMod+ interface) on the STWINKT1B eval board. Based on the schematic, looks like one can activate SPI2_CLK signal on STMOD4 via the 3-4SEL pin on the STG3692 digital switch. But I don't know how to do that and what to set up on the STM32CubeIDE side, can someone please help? Thanks.

when performed NVM operations (write on page and erase page), i lost some recieved bytes in my LPUART Rx line.when i uncomment the part of writing on the nvm, the lpuart works fine.can any one please tell me if there is a way to use this modules together? Thanks a lot,Yoni

I was using stm32f4 on my project but now I want to use the h7 products. I am reading referance manual and watching some videos about the arm cortex m7, but I didnt understand completely about the CPU things. How can I learn the most basic way to understand its memory organization ?This is one of the things i don't understand:I also exemine the example of the stm32Cube with h7, every examples start with CPU_CACHE_Enable(); , Should I use the this line in every project and why I didnt understand this function using although reading referance manual ?

Hi everyone,I'm trying to develop my own console project in C++ on Visual Studio using the SMT32 API to download and verify an STM32 CPU and I need your help please.I can build my solution with no error but I can't run it. I get : The Application was Unable to Start Correctly (0xc000007b). Same thing happens when I try to run the project STM32CubePrgAP.sln provided by STM as an example on how to use their API (available on the install path of STM32CubeProgrammer)I’m not an expert but I already used DLL on my projects with no problem.I made sure to use a compatible version (x64 or x86) of the .lib file and the project STM32CubePrgAPMicrosoft Visual C++ is already installedI'm using Visual Studio 2019Can you please help me ?Thx in advance and bear with me :)

I would like to power STuW81300 forever, should I connect Pin4 PW-PD to ground?Thank youRegards,Tim

There is an issue in STM32G4 MCU FW package v1.5.0 in system_stm32g4xx.c ligne 189 :#if defined(USER_VECT_TAB_ADDRESS) SCB->VTOR = VECT_TAB_BASE_ADDRESS | VECT_TAB_OFFSET; /* Vector Table Relocation in Internal SRAM */ #endif /* USER_VECT_TAB_ADDRESS */there is no #else, so SCB->VTOR is not initialised if USER_VECT_TAB_ADDRESS is not defined. As a result, main.c stay blocked in HAL_Init() when setting systick IRQ, or systick IRQ (and none other IRQ) are called. To fixe that, code should be replaced by something like that : #ifdef USER_VECT_TAB_ADDRESS SCB->VTOR = USER_VECT_TAB_ADDRESS| VECT_TAB_OFFSET; /* Vector Table Relocation in Internal SRAM */ #else SCB->VTOR = FLASH_BASE | VECT_TAB_OFFSET; /* Vector Table Relocation in Internal FLASH */ #endif

Hi all,Due to GDB and OpenOCD features of Atollic, we previously imported our Keil MDK projects into Atollic TrueStudio for ARM 7.0.1. It works properly.Because TrueStudio is not recommended for new products and it is now replaced by STM32CubeIDE, we tried importing our TrueSTUDIO project into STMCubeIDE. We could not manage to do that. When we select to use manuals steps for importing from TrueSTUDIO into STM32CubeIDE, we cannot see TM4C123GH6PM on target selection part (in Atollic TrueSTUDIO there is TM4C123GH6PM)Our microcontroller is TM4C123GH6PM (32-bit Arm Cortex-M4F based MCU).Could you please give suggestions in order to solve this issue?Have a good day.

Hello,I'm looking for some example code on using the built in RTC for the STM32WB55 to get a timestamp in UNIX UTC Time in milliseconds. Or the number of milliseconds since January 1st 1970.If anyone has a simple example on how to accomplish this I would greatly appreciate the help.Thank you in advance.

Hi,I need to configure HSI16 oscillator and push signal from it into MCO pin. I have tried to do this, but with no positive result. The signal on the oscilloscope is unstable and does not show the 16 MHz oscillator frequency.I put the code in the attachment. My question is what am I doing wrong, how do I fix it? In addition, I say that the signal from the MSI oscillator with a value of 2.1 MHz is correctly visible on the oscilloscope. But not for HSI16.I use 32L0538DISCOVERY board with stm32L053C8T6 MCU.

Good morning......I am using the ADC with 2 channels (Ch 9 and Ch 10). I am using an LPTIM to take these samples every 15ms. I have the ADC callback (HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback) to interrupt on 'End of sequence of conversion' (per .ioc --- or so I think). Can someone tell me what registers in the ADC I should be looking at to find the analog values of the two channels? I am not using DMA and only see one DR (Data Register in the module). When doing more than one channel must I use DMA??Thanks

Hi.I bought a STEVAL-STWINKT1B board, however I try to perform all the steps to be able to see the data collected by the sensors and I can't because I can't understand what I need to do. I just wanted to connect this board via usb to my pc , monitoring data and saving it to a file (eg .txt) or saving the data to the sd card. Can someone help me, please?Thank you.

Hello,I am trying to use circular DMA to transfer data from ADC1 into a buffer using CubeMX-generated code to configure the ADC and DMA. The DMA stream encounters a transfer error on transferring the first item. The device is an STM32H743.Using a debugger it can be seen that the program excute HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback()and right after it gets to HAL_ADC_ErrorCallback()Atatched are captures of the CubeMX configurations.I assumes that it is related to anouther DMA isue that I am experincing with the I2C:https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00001HbHIwSAN/stm32h743-i2c-dma-scl-stays-low-after-getting-slave-address-ackAny Ideas?

We are trying to use circular DMA to transfer data from ADC1 into a buffer in MCU SRAM using CubeMX-generated code to configure the ADC and DMA. The DMA stream encounters a transfer error on transferring the first item. I have tried clearing the DMA error flags before starting the transfer with HAL_ADC_Start_DMA but that did not help. The device is an STM32MP157C running in Production mode. ADC1 and DMA2 are assigned to the M4 core.Using a debugger it can be seen that the peripheral address and memory address are configured correctly for the DMA stream. However, the DMA_HWCFGR1 register for DMA2 shows that all streams are in double-buffer mode despite the DBM bit being cleared in the stream configuration register, is this normal?CubeMX-generated code:static void MX_ADC1_Init(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END ADC1_Init 0 */ ADC_MultiModeTypeDef multimode = {0}; ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0}; /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC1_Init 1 */ /*

I would like to write my own program which can send messages and read from the mailbox on an st25dv-i2c. On one end I have a st32-L0 nucleo board which can access a x-nucleo-nfc04A1 mailbox via i2c. On the other end I have a st32-L433 connected to a x-nucleo-nfc06A1 (SPI). I have been unable to read or write to the mailbox via RF. My current progress on writing to the mailbox is:1) I have configured registers A and B using the iso15693 register map provided by the disco GUI2) I have encoded my message, which is a single byte with a value of 1, added CRC and SOF/EOF.SOF, 0x02, 0xAA, 0x02, 0x00, 0x01, 0x5D, 0x03, EOF ->21 20 02 02 02 20 20 20 20 20 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 08 02 02 02 08 80 08 08 80 02 02 02 043) I have done the following commands: Stop, Reset RX Gain, Clear FIFO4) I have updated the num tx bytes register 2 with: tx_len << 3 where tx_len = 30 for this case5) I have written the encoded message to the FIFO, read FIFO to check, and sent without CRCI have no response fr

Hi everyone.I need to activate a different USB device (one only, no multi role) at startup, depending for example on a GPIO status. I have two versions of an application on a STM32WB55 Nucleo board working as MSC in a version and CDC in the other. I tried to combine the codes creating two different descriptors, registering the requested device in function MX_USB_Device_Init() and allocating PMA's in USBD_LL_Init() according to the device. As I integrated the CDC code in MSC code, the MSC device works well, but the CDC startup code CDC_Init_FS() is never called. My USB init function is:void MX_USB_Device_Init(void) { /* USB Clock Initialization */ USBD_Clock_Config(); // MSC and CD codes are the same   /* Init Device Library, add supported class and start the library. */ switch (USBDmode) { case USB_DEVICE_MSC: if (USBD_Init(&hUsbDeviceFS, &MSC_Desc, DEVICE_FS) != USBD_OK) { Error_Handler(); } if (USBD_RegisterClass(&hUsbDeviceFS, &USBD_MSC) != USB
