My P-NUCLEO-WB55 seems not not work anymore, no program is working LED6COM is workingLED5 is ON LED4 is OFFHow do i check if my board is broken ? When I power on the board, the LED1 is turning ON then OFFWhen I try to debug it gives this :STMicroelectronics ST-LINK GDB server. Version 6.0.0Copyright (c) 2021, STMicroelectronics. I just had a problem where my RTC timer did not fire the callback as it should. Most of the time it works fine, but yesterday on a customers system, it did not. The log shows the callback occurred, then the callback reinitialized the timer (in Start_RTC_Wakeup_Timer) just as it has thousands of times before. But after it was restarted this time, the callback never fired again. The log showed the system continued doing other things just as it should. The system was not locked up. The only problem was the RTC never fired again. This failure was rather catastrophic because the RTC was supposed to kick off a number of important processes. What would cause this? Do I need to have a timer to monitor the RTC and restart the system if this happens again. Doesn't seem like I should need to do this...ClarkMy RTC code is this:// initialization static void MX_RTC_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN RTC_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END RTC_Init 0 */   RTC_TimeTypeDef sTime = {0}; RTC_D

Hello Support Team,Im using ADC1 DMA Multiple channels for conversion of Analog Data.. But after Reaching 3.2 Volts ADC Binary values will be Constant or 4096 only.. It is not converting as per variation with respect to input to ADC Channele after reaching 3.2 VoltsIn real time we are not using any Devider circuit , Simply we are giving Bosch MAP Sensor output voltage to Controller ADC PinsThanks in Advance..!

I trying to use sprintf to display some values for debug purposes. I am getting wrong results in STM32CubeIDE v1.5.0 but it is working with an online gcc compiler.The code is in a function and for now I'm re-assigning the values inside the function for debug. Here is my code in STM32CubeIDE:void log_data(int16_t u, int16_t y, int64_t z, int16_t indx ) { u = 50; y= 100; z= 4351234; indx= 0;   static char msg[48]; sprintf(msg, "%d %d %lld %d \r\n>", u, y, z, indx);   HAL_UART_Transmit_IT(&huart3, (uint8_t *) msg, strlen(msg)); // &huart3 &hlpuart1 }The result displays: 50 100 ld 4351234>In the online gcc compiler I run this program:// Online C compiler to run C program online #include <stdio.h>   #define int16_t __int16_t #define int64_t __int64_t int main() { // Write C code here int16_t u = 50; int16_t y = 100; int64_t z = 4351234; int16_t indx = 0; static char msg[48]; sprintf(msg, "%d %d %lld %d \r\n>", u, y, z, indx); printf

I am working on a project using UART communication and I have a question what is really different between interrupt mode and DMA mode in TX except for their underlying mechanism.(HAL_UART_Transmit_IT vs HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA)I know DMA uses the DMA controller which works independently, and Interrupt type directly use its internal peripheral,but both are working as the non-blocking mode and they set interrupts when all the data has been transmitted and completed(HAL_UART_TxCpltCallback)The only thing I can find is DMA can use the half-complete call back(HAL_UART_TxHalfCpltCallback) but is that the only difference except for the mechanism?I tried all three methods (polling, interrupt, DMA), and worked fine. The project needs to do something else while it transmits UART data, so I need to use interrupt type or DMA type.Both sound good, but I am really wondering what is different between the two.If they make the same result and just use different internal procedures or devices in MCU,

I am working with the STM32L4 and STM32F4 microcontrollers and compiling with CubeIDE and System Workbench. I use no realtime operating system, I have no semaphores/mutexes, but I'm allowed to write code in C++. Every once in a while I want to execute some critical functions almost uninterruptedly, only one type of very high priority timer interrupt is allowed to interrupt the critical function. What's a clever way to accomplish this? I can't disable all other interrupt enable bits (would be a huge waste of instructions/time) and I can't use __disable_irq() because that disables the important timer interrupt as well. I could create a function a called executeInInterrupt(functionPtr_t functionPtr) that I pass my critical function myCriticalFunction() to and only the important timer interrupt would be assigned more important priority than the interrupt used by the executeInInterrupt()-function. But what if myCriticalFunction takes arguments, myCriticalFunction(uint32_t myArg1, const char

I'm pluging into ADC_IN0 1x pull-up and 5x buttons, that when i pressed some button, it adds a resistor to ground and make a voltage_divider... then i read the value on ADC.But when i pressed the button, however, my ADC shows 0 on the variable and not the Vout from voltage_divider, like 1V or 0,5V.I'm using CubeIDE with default ADC_IN0 config and making the while(1) as follow:   hadc.Instance->CHSELR |= ADC_CHSELR_CHANNEL(ADC_CHANNEL_0);   HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc);   HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc,10);   value_adc=HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc);

void HAL_ETH_IRQHandler(ETH_HandleTypeDef *heth){  /* Packet received */  if (__HAL_ETH_DMA_GET_IT(heth, ETH_DMACSR_RI))  {    if (__HAL_ETH_DMA_GET_IT_SOURCE(heth, ETH_DMACIER_RIE))    {...}}I have met this question: this function cannot run to any (if else),So IrqHandler cannot clear irq_flag . so stm32h7 always go to this function ,then my software always crash into this function .

Hi community members, I have tried to find the answer in the available documentation but could find the exact answer to my query. I have been using STM32-Nucleo-G474RE and I wanted to assign specific channels of ADCs to sensors X and other available channels of the same ADCs to sensors Y. Is it possible to disable and enable the channels from the code during runtime? I was thinking to use an external multiplexer for selecting the channels based on the conditions. Do I really need an external multiplexer or I could enable and disable channels even without it in the software? Looking forward to the suggestion.Thanks

We have a product based on the LSM6DS3 and are shortlisted for a large deployment. Customer has some additional questions on MEMS used:- MEMS sensor BW (3db + resonant freq)- ODR accuracyI can find this data for IIS3DWB but not for LSM6DS3 or similar.Any assistance appreciated -- thanks

I have two devices (which are with STM32F429 & ST25R 3916) from which I read NFC Wifi pairing and Bluetooth pairing tags. What can I change to make these two identical devices in terms of functionality (which are still physically different) indistinguishable from NFC-enabled Android phones? For example, could I read the MAC address of ST25P3916? Without an additional program, can I use any data from the already read tag. My idea is as an access point to have mobility when moving in space, and when a new access point is needed.Best Regards,Toshko

*** EDIT ***Seems this was a memory issue rather than a D-Cache issue, the D-Cache option fixed it as a side effect!*** EDIT ***I have a project setup as follows:STM32F765IIKxRTOSSD Card on SDMMC1 configured as SD 4 bits Wide, DMA EnabledI followed this example, however, after a day of head scratching and nothing working I found that the only way to get it to work was disable the D-Cache. Once I had found this issue I remembered seeing the option within the "sd_dsikio.c" file for cache maintenance. /* * when using cacheable memory region, it may be needed to maintain the cache * validity. Enable the define below to activate a cache maintenance at each * read and write operation. * Notice: This is applicable only for cortex M7 based platform. */ /* USER CODE BEGIN enableSDDmaCacheMaintenance */ #define ENABLE_SD_DMA_CACHE_MAINTENANCE 1 /* USER CODE END enableSDDmaCacheMaintenance */   /* * Some DMA requires 4-Byte aligned address buffer to correctly read/write data, * in FatF

In CubeMX ther is missing optines to select charging of the battery and the seceltion of charging resistor 1.5K or 5KI would expect it to be under "System Core" -> RCC as it should go into resig PWR_CR3 So for my system I have to duck in "main.c" HAL_PWREx_ConfigSupply (PWR_LDO_SUPPLY); to HAL_PWREx_ConfigSupply (PWR_LDO_SUPPLY | PWR_CR3_VBE | PWR_BATTERY_CHARGING_RESISTOR_1_5);But it gets keeping over written from CubeMXIt is this 2 bits in PWR_CR3Bit 9 VBRS: VBAT charging resistor selection 0: Charge VBAT through a 5 k Ω resistor. 1: Charge VBAT through a 1.5 k Ω resistor.Bit 8 VBE: VBAT charging enable 0: VBAT battery charging disabled. 1: VBAT battery charging enabled.

hey thereI have a STM32f030k6t6 which I wish to set a timer(TIM16 in this case) and each time timer interrupts, a GPIO pin toggles. I attach the clock configuration.and here is my tim16 confightim16.Instance = TIM16; htim16.Init.Prescaler = 10; htim16.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; htim16.Init.Period = 44236; htim16.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; htim16.Init.RepetitionCounter = 0; htim16.Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_DISABLE; if (HAL_TIM_Base_Init(&htim16) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }and this is start of timerif(HAL_TIM_Base_Start_IT(&htim16)!=HAL_OK)// { Error_Handler(); }and finally timer interrupt and GPIO togglingvoid HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim) { if (htim->Instance == TIM16) { HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOA,GPIO_PIN_3); } }now funny thing is that as I have set timer to interrupt every 10ms, but when I use oscilloscope, each timer interrupt is shown to be 4ms. so why is that?

Hi all,I'm new to STM32G4 development. So I'm hoping to get some help to start.I need to measure pulse duration in 1 nanoseconds resolution or less. I then need to transfer the measured value to a another machines. I have been looking at STM32G4 series MCU with the high resolution timer(ps). Can anyone comment if the Stm32 Hrtim would be able to do this measurement?If yes, can you give me a starting point where to start in regards to measuring the pulses?If no, which another mcu that would be suitable for my use?Thanks in advance.

Hi All,I am working on a SCSI device read/write project.(Base on STM32CubeMX V6.4, Chip STM32F103)Now the windows can recognized this device as a pen driver and I can send data from Device to Host just like send data for read capacity.EXint8_t SCSI_ProcessCmd(USBD_HandleTypeDef *pdev, uint8_t lun, uint8_t *cmd){       USBD_MSC_BOT_HandleTypeDef *hmsc = (USBD_MSC_BOT_HandleTypeDef *) pdev->pClassData;       switch (cmd[0])       {               ….          case 0xF7:                    USBD_MSC_BOT_HandleTypeDef *hmsc =                     (USBD_MSC_BO

my resistive touch screen looks like this. Why I am seeing this continuous line of my horizantal sliders. There is no such a problem on vertical one. How can I fix this? Is this about screen?

Hello,I am working stm32mp157c. I'm trying to change the clock rate of stmcubeide using pll4q for spi45 (StmCubeIde outputs are attached.). Also The bsp setting is attached .Pll settigs is;   st,pll@3 {      reg = <3>;      cfg = <1 32 5 66 5 PQR(0,1,0)>;      frac = <0x1000>;   };I see the clocks are set correctly except pll4q (in linux "cat /sys/kernel/debug/clk/clk_summary" command).It turns out 25.125Mhz when it should be 6MHz (linux outputs are attached).I measure the pll4q clock with oscilloscope. Same as the value i see in "cat /sys/kernel/debug/clk/clk_summary" (not 6MHz, it is 25.125Mhz).Where do you think the problem might be?
