Environment:tool: STM32CubeMX6.4.0 cpu: STM32H755XIRepos: STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.9.1I configured pins as GPIO input/output by STM32CubeMX GUI. MAX_GPIO_Init() is auto-generated and all pins are configured inside. However it is not called by any function. Usually it will be called in main().Below is the auto-gernerated main() function code. MAX_GPIO_Init() is missed. Is it a abnormal case? My ioc file for this case is also attached.Thanks.int main(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 *//* USER CODE BEGIN Boot_Mode_Sequence_0 */ int32_t timeout;/* USER CODE END Boot_Mode_Sequence_0 */ /* Enable I-Cache---------------------------------------------------------*/ SCB_EnableICache(); /* Enable D-Cache---------------------------------------------------------*/ SCB_EnableDCache();/* USER CODE BEGIN Boot_Mode_Sequence_1 */ /* Wait until CPU2 boots and enters in stop mode or timeout*/ timeout = 0xFFFF; while((__HAL_RCC_GET_FLAG

Hello,I want to print Korean in <value> of wild cardThe encoding used in CubeIDE is attached as a picture file. The touchGFX version we use is 4.16.The initial value entered in wildcard is normally output as "정지".(textArea and Typographies images are attached.)"Unicode::snprintf(textMasterAirflowBuffer, TEXTMASTERAIRFLOW_SIZE, "STOP");" -> "STOP" is output.Unicode::snprintf(textMasterAirflowBuffer, TEXTMASTERAIRFLOW_SIZE, "정지"); -> Fallback Character is output.Unicode::snprintf(textMasterAirflowBuffer, TEXTMASTERAIRFLOW_SIZE, "%s", "정지"); -> Fallback Character is output. How can I get Korea to be printed on the LCD normally?Best regards,

Hello, I'm trying to set up SPI communication between an MCU as master and the STM32 as slave. Data reception in the STM32 works fine, but I'm not being able to transmit data to the MCU from the STM32. I'm using the interrupt callback to read and send the data as follows:void HAL_SPI_RxCpltCallback(SPI_HandleTypeDef * hspi){ HAL_SPI_Receive_IT(&hspi1, rxbyte, 1); HAL_SPI_Transmit_IT(&hspi1, txbyte, 1);}I expect that in the second transmission, my MCU will get the data stored in the txbyte. But STM32 is not sending the data, on the other hand, if I place the transmit function in the while loop: /* Infinite loop */ /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) {  /* USER CODE END WHILE */  HAL_SPI_Transmit_IT(&hspi1, txbyte, 1);  /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ }The transmission occurs, but now the transmission buffer is filed with the data in txbyte. Is there an explanation to this behavior? the SPI configuration is as follows: Thanks in adva

Hello,I'm using STM32 NUCLEO board. In my application, I want to read GPIO PORT A input register (IDR) & (pins setup as inputs). With that variable, I want to do something, if specific pins are HIGH, execute the if cycle. As an example, I want to execute my logic if PIN 0 and PIN1 both of them HIGH, All I do in while cycle is:read=GPIOA->IDR;if(read &0b0000000000000011){Do something if PIN 0 and PIN1 are HIGH}else{Do something if the statement above was FALSE.}In debugger mode I can see the status of the pins, and if I changing them between high/low the register see that, but my if cycle doesn't seem to work. Sometimes it executes if, sometimes executes else statement. Is it something wrong with the bitmask?

I have to take an existing CubeMX project and change the micro (F03 -> G03) which should be quite simple, however my CubeIDE refuses to load the project.I can add the project, and it loads all the source files etc. but it will not build (the menu option is greyed out), it will not index sources (F3 to see definition doesn't work) and if I try to open the .ioc (CubeMX config) file it just hangs with a blank white window. From the .ioc file:MxCube.Version=4.22.1 MxDb.Version=DB.4.0.221Can I migrate this project somehow?

HelloI'm working on a project with VCNL4010 sensor connected to STM32.I followed the annotation note to set the VCNL ready to get an interrupt when a value is exceeded. The AN file said:Set Led current, in my case 200mASet Frecuency to proximation rate, in my case 62.5measurements/secSet High and Low ThresholdEnable interrupt generation when High Threshold exceed and 4 counts (register 8Eh in VCNL)Clear flagsEnable proximity and selftimed in register 80hAfter configurate, the MCU starts to read values from proximity. The point is that interrupt pin is always High. Precisely, in the very moment that Threshold is set with a value, interrupt rise to 1.Then, if a come close my finger to the sensor, interrupt pin go to 0. I think this is not make sense, since the example in the AN I can see a diagram that works in opposite way.I don't know what to do more. I hope someone can help me to arrange this problem.

The case described occurs when multiple timers are used and one repetitive timer is tiggered right after another repetitive timer. The first code snippet below shows the current implementation and the second shows the fixed code.static void RestartWakeupCounter(uint16_t Value) { /** * The wakeuptimer has been disabled in the calling function to reduce the time to poll the WUTWF * FLAG when the new value will have to be written * __HAL_RTC_WAKEUPTIMER_DISABLE(phrtc); */   if(Value == 0) { SSRValueOnLastSetup = ReadRtcSsrValue();   /** * Simulate that the Timer expired */ HAL_NVIC_SetPendingIRQ(CFG_HW_TS_RTC_WAKEUP_HANDLER_ID); } elseThe line containing "__HAL_RTC_WAKEUPTIMER_ENABLE(phrtc);" must be added to the above code to fix the bug as shown in the code below.static void RestartWakeupCounter(uint16_t Value) { /** * The wakeuptimer has been disabled in the calling function to reduce the time to poll the WUTWF * FLAG when the new value will have to be writte

I have my MCU running at 1.8V and in I2C operation mode I have disabled the internal pull ups on the pins. Externally I have added pullups to 1.1V as my target device has been operating at 1.1V. Will this cause any issues?

uint32_t dma_buffer_for_adc; uint32_t adc_value_1;   void HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback(ADC_HandleTypeDef* hadc) { adc_value_1 = dma_buffer_for_adc ;// }   HAL_ADC_Start_DMA (&hadc1, &dma_buffer_for_adc, 1);here I have implemented a single channel continuous conversion mode.I wrote the address of the dma buffer and the code works great. adc doesn't work if I don't specify it here as a pointer.uint32_t dma_buffer_for_adc[2]; //We have created an array with two elements, this array has 2 elements, element 0 and element 1. uint32_t adc_value_1; uint32_t adc_value_2;   //----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- void HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback(ADC_HandleTypeDef* hadc) { adc_value_1 = dma_buffer_for_adc[0]; //We have defined the buffer where the / adc value is kept to a variable adc_value_2 = dma_buffer_for_adc[1]; } //-------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello STM32-Community,I'm getting mixed results checking up this question. In the power consumption calculator (PCC) there is the following diagram displayed:As you can see it should not be possible to enter STOP2 from LOWPOWER_RUN. However the sequence generator allows me to use it, even though its red underlined in the sequences: Therefore I wanted to ask, is it possible to enter the STOP2 mode from low power run? And if not, why? I couldn't find an answer to the low-power manual from STM32, as well as the reference manual.Kind regardscrackl1ng

Hai,we are using STM32H743IIT6 and External Twin quad spi (MT25TL01G).In our board we have configured (PB6) pin for QUADSPI_BK1_NCSbut in the external loader file(MT25TL01G_STM32H743I-EVAL.stldr) which we have has PG6 pin for QUADSPI_BK1_NCSDue to this pin conflict we are not able to program.Could we get the external loader file which supports our pin configuration?PB2-QUADSPI_CLKPB6-QUADSPI_BK1_NCSPF8-QUADSPI_BK1_IO0PF9-QUADSPI_BK1_IO1PF7-QUADSPI_BK1_IO2PF6-QUADSPI_BK1_IO3PC11-QUADSPI_BK2_NCSPH2-QUADSPI_BK2_IO0PH3-QUADSPI_BK2_IO1PG9-QUADSPI_BK2_IO2PG14-QUADSPI_BK2_IO3

Clock doesn't allow adjustments. Normally it shouldn't give a warning.

Nordic board + ST25DV_Discovery_ANT_C6 = works great.Nordic board + ST25DV_Discovery_ANT_C1 = does NOT work (ST25 is not recognized). Why?What is the operational difference between C6 and C1?

I am writing the c# application using Feig "FEDM for NET" library to communicate with ST25DV02K-W1/W2. I want to use PresentPassword and WritePassword command. ST25DV02K-W1/W2 is recognized by the library as 'TH_ISO15693_STM' tag. The 'TH_ISO15693_STM' class does not have a Present/Write password command available. There are implemented in TH_ISO15693_STM_ST25DVxxK class. The problem is that memory is not recognized as 'TH_ISO15693_STM_ST25DVxxK'  and I can not cast 'TH_ISO15693_STM' to 'TH_ISO15693_STM_ST25DVxxK' class.  Does anyone have had this problem too? How can I resolve it?I try using the Transparent command but was not successful.

So I have a STM32H753 with active "secure area" - but the code in the secure area is buggy and hangs before jumping outside. Is there a way to erase the MCU and recover, or it is bricked? No RDP is set.

Hi, everyone, I have the next problem, I am using the same pins like a simple GPIO output, and like a PWM output. To change the output from PWM to GPIO i using this code:    GPIO_InitTypeDef gpio;    gpio.Pin = GPIO_PIN_0|GPIO_PIN_1;    gpio.Mode = GPIO_MODE_OUTPUT_PP;    HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOB, &gpio); But, how to return PWM initialization?

This is a project created with STM32CubeMX and then coding in the STM32CubeIDE environment. The error is in the linking process, but wondering why the linker should believe this function is defined twice by default. I had reason to believe these should be local to their own translation units/source files and so the linker treated these are entirely different functions.I am aware that functions in different source files with the same names is undesirable, but I would prefer to get top the bottom of this rather than simple rename the functions.

Using IAR to develop software for and burn flash via USB on STM32 7B3I and Discovery eval boards.Need to develop my own Windows software to burn flash via USB on our own product.Am familiar with AN2606 [bootloader] and AN3156 [DFU] but neither appear to document how to use host USB to burn client flash. Can anyone point to a relevant document?

I am having difficulties activating the EXTI interrupt for a pin in the M4 NVIC.   What I did: Opened STM32CubeMX, selected the board STM32MP157F-DK2, opted to configure all peripherals in their default state Activate SPI5 in the M4 domain, incl. DMA domain Select PF3 pin EXTI mode with falling edge trigger detection (in my application serves as a data ready signal that should start the SPI transfer) Now trying to activate EXTI Line 3 interrupt in NVIC, but the check-box is greyed out & I have no clue what I am missing to let me activate the EXTI line 3 interrupt   Does anyone know what I missed? Attached is the ioc file generated so far.   Thank you all so much for any help!

Hi,I build a custom bootloader.Trying to load app on FreeRTOS and TouchGfxMCU - STM32H7BITThe MCU has 2 FLASH banks:0x08000000 - 1024k0x08100000 - 1024kgcc-arm-none-eabi toolchain.openocd for loading and debuging.The app works fine when loaded at 0x08000000. FLASH origin.Next...Begin Option 1:-------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------The application works after loading from the bootloader if stored at 0x08100000.I do in bootloader:void Bootloader_JumpToApplication (void){     HAL_RCC_DeInit();     HAL_DeInit();     /* Disable SysTick */     SysTick->CTRL = 0;     SysTick->LOAD = 0;     SysTick->VAL = 0;     __asm("B 0x0812E700"); // Address obtained from *.map file

When I open a project generated on my machine it opens the ioc file just fine but not with the project I downloaded
