Can anyone suggest ,pls, what should be the sequence of the registers configuration for ST25R3911 as a 14443-A reader , and the mechanism for sending and receiving APDU commands. Taking into account that there is no possibility to use the library (not a STM controller is used in the project) I am trying to analyze the dialogue between the ST25 and the controller on the ST25R3911B-DISCO board using log.analyzer (file in attachment) . For example, the user manual for PN7150(NXP) have clear instructions in which register and what value should be written in order to send APDU. If something similar exists for ST - I'lll be glad for any hint .

Hi,I tried using video widget from 4.18 version designer. But when i tried to run simulation its just opening for a moment and closes itself immediately . First I created a project with simulator instead of specific board.added a video widget and selected video file of .avi extension. Are there any steps I skipped or there any specific requirements for video resolution and framerate.#TouchGFXGenerator

I am using slider widget in my project with custom images for base and fill. When I change the base image programmatically, the slider is coming up with filled image as base image. Here is line of code:pwrSaveTimeSlider.setBitmaps(touchgfx::Bitmap(BITMAP_ADV_SETTINGS_SLIDER_BASE_DARK_ID), touchgfx::Bitmap(BITMAP_ADV_SETTINGS_SLIDER_BASE_FILLED_ID), touchgfx::Bitmap(BITMAP_SLIDER_ID));pwrSaveTimeSlider.invalidate();Here is how it comes with after executing above lines of code. As soon as I click down on slider indicator (before even move/drag it) the blue image disappears and the intended base image appears. The blue image is used as filled image which means with slider indicator to far left, the blue image should not show up at all.Is this a known bug with slider widget? BTW, I am using TouchGFX 4.18.1. But I have seen this happening in 4.16.1 as well.

I am working on a project using a few STUSB4710 and some STM32F0 family microcontrollers. I am looking for details about the registers of the STUSB4710. In the datasheet I can find only the I2C register map and the details of the PDO registers but nothing about the others registers. Could you please send me any documentation about I2C registers to help software team to develop the firmware around the STUSB4710.  NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. We regularly review support cases and add any helpful ones here for all to benefit from.

Hi All, I tested the motor driver STSPIN840. I'm able to limit the current through the motor. But i dont see the Fault Pin going down to zero if the driver limits the current. If i do a short circuit on the output the Fault Pin goes down to Zero. What can i expact for signals on the fault pin if the SNSA is higher than Vref but lower than the overcurrent value of 3A?BR Philipe

Playing with STM32F746 disco, CMSIS-only, directly with registers, in C. CubeIDE 1.8.0, Win10. Gives a good intuitive understanding of how things work. For now, I'm practicing cascading the Timers in various ways (successfully). The thing I failed to understand is "Output Compare Fast Enable".My test project works the following way:1) Timer1 is in one pulse mode. As soon as it has counter enabled, it outputs TRGO. So starting Timer1 also starts Timer3.2) Timer3 is a slave of Timer1 and is a trigger mode slave (counter enables) immediately as Timer1 has counter enabled. Timer3 is in PWM2 mode (counts up, output low while CNT<Compare1), output Channel 1 to PB43) When Timer3 CNT=Compare1, Timer3 makes TRGO and triggers (counter-enables) Timer5 in PWM2 mode, output Channel 4 to PI0Everything works perfectly exactly as I want, I have no problem with any of that. What I don't understand is the definition of the Output Compare Fast Enable. I simply want to try out this function to understan

Hi,I want to detect NFC tag. For that I have a P-NUCLEO-WB55 + X NUCLEO NFC06A1.I have downloaded the zip file (en.X-CUBE-NFC6_v1.1.0) from ST with examples but they are for boards that aren't mine.I tried to:Generate a code for wb55 with CubeMXAdd files (header and source) from the zip fileBut I ended up with somes errors like "/Core/Inc/platform.h:149:55: warning: implicit declaration of function '_Error_Handler'; did you mean 'Error_Handler'?"or "'BUS_SPI1_NSS_GPIO_PORT' undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean 'NUCLEO_SPIx_SCK_GPIO_PORT'?"So my question is what is the right way to create a project with X CUBE NFC6 ?EDIT:Thanks to Brian TIDAL, I have been able to create a project from scratch for WB55 + NFC06A1 shield.Process should be the same for others boards so you will find in attachement a zip containing a tutorial.

Hello STM32-Community,I've got a somewhat mundane problem today. Suddenly a piece of .h file decides to give a warning. I'm using STM32CubeMX and have also rebuilt the project multiple times and I still get this warning: Anyone knows how to fix this issue? I'm just afraid it might also be a warning which can be serious in the future.Kind regardscrackl1ng

Hello! My problem is that I don't see the components in the Additional Software menu.I did everything strictly according to the instructions specified of the official website. Components installed as shown.CubeMX reinstalled, the computer rebooted, but it did not help. Touching Refresh button also has no any effect.I use a STM32H747-DISCOWhat could be the problem?

Is it possible to get the Altium pcb and schematic files for the ST25R3916-disco or nucleo just like the ST25R3911B-disco?

Is there a way to use 1.8V NAND Memory Chip using Quad SPI GPIOs in STM32WB55 Nucleo Pack?   I already wired-up the 1.8V NAND chip and connected to Quad SPI pins of the Nucleo Pack, but I haven't powered this board up yet.

Hi all,I am using MPU ref. STM32MP153F, do you say me what is the time that elapsed between a tamper is detected and the backup resister are finishing erased? And the backup SRAM?Thank you in advance

I'm writing firmware for a custom board using the STM32WB15CCU6E and am having trouble getting the BLE functionality to work properly. I have created a minimal project that gets BLE running, and have not changed anything in the STM32_WPAN section, so it's just running the default "Custom P2P Server".The device advertises and is picked up by Windows and Android, but connection attempts always fail. During a connection attempt, HCI_LE_CONNECTION_COMPLETE_SUBEVT_CODE is received (in app_ble.c) with a Status of 0, and HCI_DISCONNECTION_COMPLETE_EVT_CODE is then received immediately after with a Reason of 0x3E (connection failed to be established).Sniffing the packets shows that the master sends CONNECT_IND and then makes repeated requests with LL_FEATURE_REQ, but the slave never sends anything back. The slave then goes back to advertising a few seconds later.I've been working on this issue for multiple days now and am out of ideas, so would really appreciate some help solving it.

Hi ST,We bought a ST25RU3993-HEPV last year to evaluate the RFID chip and wanted to control it using SPI (see that question, where you already helped us). The master SPI is a Cortex A15.We managed to set-up SPI communication and to implement spiTxRx() to read/write registers (single and continuous read/write). We started to integrate others ST functions from the ST25RU3993 STUHFL SDK package v3-0-2-0 package, especially the st25RU3993Initialize function. Before doing anything, this function runs a selftest to check three things:SPI communication works (write & read 4 bytes in Modulator control register 1 register)Check EN pin by calling st25RU3993ResetDoNotPreserveRegistersWe did not connect EN pin to a GPIO for now, so the chip is always enabled. I replaced the OFF/ON of the EN pin by a Soft Init (83h) single command.Check that the IRQ line is working, by sending 24 bytes in FIFO register instead of the 48 announced, and waiting more than 40ms, to have a timeout triggered on ST25RU

Hi, I am working on SPC58NG84E7 bootloader. I have Bootloader code(at 0x00FC0000) with which i am using "FlashErase" API to Erase Flash Memory block at 0x00FF0000 with "-Os size" Optimization But its not working. Also, I tried putting breakpoint to the next line after erase, but breakpoint does not hit. Looks like its stuck in the execution.I tried all other optimizations as well but same result. Also, without optimization (NONE(-O0)) its working fine. Same result is for "FlashProgram" API.What could be the issue here? Please help me resolve the issue.

We are developing a IC card skipass Reader product for ski resort market. I checked TRF7961 from TI, but it can provide only 200mW output power. In the datasheet of ST25R3916, this IC can give up to 1.7W output power. I wonder these two are same index or not. I would like to know the maximum reading distance with ST25R3916. Could you give me some information or advice? If possible, we want a distance about 30cm. With TRF7961, about 15cm can be obtained. Thank you very much for your help in advance.
