Hi, I configured FDCAN1 in classic format and was able to send CAN messages to a recipient. However, if I want to try the same with FDCAN2 it does not work and the TX FIFO gets full and goes to the error handler. However, If I change FDCAN_Config to use hfdcan2 instead of hfdcan1 as below/** * @brief Configures the FDCAN. * @param None * @retval None */ static void FDCAN_Config(void) { FDCAN_FilterTypeDef sFilterConfig;   /* Configure Rx filter */ sFilterConfig.IdType = FDCAN_STANDARD_ID; sFilterConfig.FilterIndex = 0; sFilterConfig.FilterType = FDCAN_FILTER_MASK; sFilterConfig.FilterConfig = FDCAN_FILTER_TO_RXFIFO0; sFilterConfig.FilterID1 = 0x321; sFilterConfig.FilterID2 = 0x7FF; if (HAL_FDCAN_ConfigFilter(&hfdcan2, &sFilterConfig) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }   /* Configure global filter: Filter all remote frames with STD and EXT ID Reject non matching frames with STD ID and EXT ID */ if (HAL_FDCAN_ConfigGlobalFilter(&hfdcan2, FDCAN_REJEC

I've created an STM32 Project, selected the NUCLEO-G431RB board and generated the code. I've added a source folder to the project (mu_platform) and LINKED some .c and .h files into that folder. I selected mu_platform folder and right-clicked "Add/remove include path", and checked the project properties to see that it was added. It looked right:But now when I compile, the C preprocessor says that it cannot find the .h files inside mu_platform, e.g. mu_time.h, although it's linked into the mu_platform directory:C:/Users/r/Projects/mulib-examples/mu_platform/nucleo_g431rb/mu_time.c:28:10: fatal error: mu_time.h: No such file or directory 28 | #include "mu_time.h"Is this because the C preprocessor does not resolve LINKED files? In other words, do I need to specify the file system directory as the included directory rather than the Project Directory's linked directory?(Hope this makes sense!)

Hi there!I put this struct in the header file of my code, i´m using Cosmic C compiler and STM8S207 microcontroller:typedef struct{ bool a0:1; //flutuação bool a1:1; //equalização bool a2:1; //automático bool a3:1; //fuga terra + bool a4:1; //fuga terra - bool a5:1; //sobretemperatura interna bool a6:1; //sobretemperatura externa bool a7:1; //disjuntor aberto bool a8:1; //ca anormal bool a9:1; //bateria baixa bool a10:1;//bateria alta bool a11:1;//consumidor baixo bool a12:1;//consumidor alto bool a13:1;//sobrecarga bool a14:1;//bateria em descarga bool a15:1;//desconexão bateria}strAlarme;strAlarme alarmes0;But when i compile, i receive this message: #error cpstm8 declaracoes.h:36(1+9) redeclared typedef strAlarmeWhat am i doing wrong?SincerellyMarcelo

Hi,I'm not able to find any example on STM32CubeIDE about ADC 16-bit oversampling. Could someone from ST provide this for the STM32G0 MCUs?thanks in advance, gaston

Hello,I use stm32l412b / FreeRTOS.I use below function to display dubug message.The MCU is halted and a watchdog reset occurs when the function below is called in interrupt routie.It works normally if not in interrupt Would you let me know what is wrong?Is there a way to display a debug message within an interrupt, even if it's not in the function below? thanks.*******************************************************int uart_debug_send(const char * fmt, ...){ va_list ap; int rvalue; int retry = UART_RETRY; uint16_t queue_len = UART_QUEUE_SIZE; uint16_t item_num = 0; uint8_t* temp_arry; int is_isr = __get_IPSR(); int re_err = 0; UBaseType_t uxSavedInterruptStatus;// if (is_isr)//  return 0; while (switching_lock_it_safe(uart_lock,UART_BUSY_WAIT_TIME) < 0) {  if (retry <= 0)   return -1;  else  {   if(!is_isr)    vTaskDelay(1)

Hi,I like to use the LQFP144 case of the STM32U575, but unfortunatly the case showed is wrong, see attaced pictures

I updated from version 1.8.0 (compilation was ok) to version 1.9.0 where I get 2017 errors :-o.Apparently and issue with ld.exe..tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: SV-F777.elf section `.bss' will not fit in region `SRAM' Processor STM32F777VITxDo you have any idea how to investigate this?

I tried to build the NFC Tap app in iOS, but was not able to compile.I added the J2ObjC paths. The problem is a Swift Compiler Error in the include chain, see screenshot.

What is the different and function between SARADC 12 BIT Supervisor and SARADC 12 BIT Modules?

Hey, sorry, I am pretty new to this. I have a rather basic question. I took apart a module that I have, within which there is STM32 microcontroller (part marking: STM32F103T8U77BA7E93PHL739). I want to know if it's possible to use the IDE to extract the existing bin file in the microcontroller, via JTAG or some other method? Reason being I have my own bin file that I'd like to test, but in case I screw things up, I'd like to be able to restore the module back to its original condition by reinstating the original bin file into the microcontroller. So my plan is to extract the current contents of the microcontroller by reading back, store the bin file safely before i do any kind of experimentation so that at least the original condition can be restored. Hope my question is clear.

How to debug those separated code via winIDEA.

If I see the pin layout of STM32WB55VQ,There are multiple VSSRF, VSS, and VDD like below. If I want to see proper function, should I connect all the VSSRF, VSS, and VDD?or is it fine connect only one of them (For example, one ground on VSSRF, one ground on VSS, and one bias on VDD)?

Hi,I was looking at the display interface overview and saw that the max resolution for an SPI connection seems to be 480*272. https://support.touchgfx.com/4.19/docs/development/hardware-selection/hardware-components/hardware-selection-displayI'm currently looking at some displays that are SPI 456x456 resolution, so I was wondering if that resolution limitation was in the TouchGFX infrastructure itself or if not, where the bottleneck was. Thanks!Daniel

I could not find it anywhere, nor in the datasheet and I need it for an ATEX project.

Hello,I have a nucleo-nfc06a1 board that I would like to use for wireless charging and communications to a st25dvi2c tag. On the tag side, I have a rectifier bridge that supplies a battery charger. The resonant frequency of the tag antenna has been set to 15MHz and has an inductance of 1uH, as was suggested by STMicro. On the reader side, I am able to swap the impedance matching network components for ones that will provide maximum power. I can use a VNA to ensure that the system impedance is resonant at 13.56 MHz for a given impedance. I can snap off and solder on another coil with higher Q and higher inductance if needed. The registers on the ST25r3916 have been set according to the st25r3916 disco board register readout for NFC-V configuration. In the past I have tried the following:-Setting the internal regulator to 5V (as opposed to the auto-regulator setting)-Replacing the coil with a 200 Q, 3uH antenna (5cm in diameter)-Setting the impedance matching network to be resonant at val

Hello.I'm going to purchase a round AMOLED display to be used with a STM32F469 Discovery board. This is my current candidate: PV13904PY24G. This display has a resolution of 454x454 pixels. TouchGFX says STM32F4 is usable for displays up to 450x450 pixels. Is this display too big? It's driven by RM69330, and I have the datasheet of this IC.Before buying, I'll ask if they manufacturer has any kind of code example for any platform, so that I have some reference.Do you see any problem in what I plan to do?What will I need to propertly use this display with TouchGFX on the STM32F469 Discovery board? Will I need or should I use other hardware to interface the display to the Discovery board or to get to know the display before actually connecting it to the board? Is the touch data transmitted on a different interface? This is my first experience in embedded development. Thanks for advance for any advice you would like to give me.

Hello, I just started working on my first project utilising the STM32 family of processors - STM32wle5 to be exact, but I've ran into some issues. While setting up LORAWAN middleware in CubeMX v. 6.5.0, I've found no options related to RF switches. For the hardware, I just have a single GPIO Output line that is either HIGH or LOW signalising RX/TX and for the RF switch i have this IC. Does this have to be configured outside of CubeMX or is there somewhere a hidden option?

First the GUI is all screwed up. When I look at USART2 It gives me the choices forGPIO output level,GPIO mode, GPIO Pull-up/Pull-downMaximum output speedUser Label,it is missing Fast Mode. I click down to USART1_TX and the list is different. It hasGPIO mode,GPIO Pull-up/Pull-downMaximum output speed,Fast ModeUser LabelThis one is missing GPIO Output Level. And it says it is "Modified" I told it to revert to the default and it is still "Modified"  This is a known problem, but it does not help me that it is known. Here is the code generated. /** * @brief USART1 Initialization Function * @param None * @retval None */ static void MX_USART1_UART_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN USART1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END USART1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE BEGIN USART1_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END USART1_Init 1 */ huart1.Instance = USART1; huart1.Init.BaudRate = 115200; huart1.Init.WordLength = UART_WORDLENGTH_8B; huart1.Init.StopBits = UART_STOPBITS_1; huart1.Ini

I have spent hours trying to find bugs, and when I report them I am told they are "known problems". And the ST employee points to a number, that is internal to ST only. Companies publish Errata sheets all the time when the chip does not work as advertised with workarounds. Why not have one for your software tools?

Hello everyone, I currently have devices with a specific FW released on market. In this FW there is a structure saved in internal flash memory (with "const" and defined areas on linker file). In the new version I am working on, I need to expand an array placed in the middle of this structure. The problem is that data next to this array will change location by doing this, what I would like to avoid. Is there a way to add the new data of the array at the end of the structure ? Or any other idea ?Thanks a lot for your help !

Hello,I have a problem with the ST25DV04KC-IE.In the datasheet the register MB_WDG (000Eh) must have a factory value of 0x03 but my chips have 0x1a. Bits 3-7 are RFU in the datasheet. Do you know why there is a difference? The real problem is that I tried to change this value to 0x00 through I2C to disable the WD. When I write 0x00 in this register, the I2C become "broken" and answer NACK to each read/write command. I have this problem on 2 boards so my two boards are bricked.I try to change this value through NFC and the ST25 app without any success. I can change the register 0Dh but I've an error with the register 0Eh. (Error 01 10 (ISO15693_BLOCK_NOT_AVAILAB...)).How can I reset my board to the factory value?Thank you.Edit: With the ST25DV_discovery_ANT_C1 (ST25DV04K-J), I can set MB_WDG to 0x00 and I can change the MB_WDG register through NFC.

Hello community!I use a custom motorcontrol PCB with the STSPIN32G4, using the µc's internal OPs with external resistors to setup the gain. I use the same resistors as EVSPIN32G4 only with 0.5mOhm shunt instead of 5mOhm (see picture). With this configuration, I should be able to sense currents of up to 450 Amp. When no current is flowing through the shunt, the measured voltage on the OP out is 1,65V which is correct. The problem is that at 15A flowing through the shunt, the OP output is at 2V already. So the gain is far higher than what I enter in the workbench (gain in workbench is 7,333 and with the observed voltage output at 15A I calculate that the actual gain is around 48). There seems to be something wrong with the gain settings. In the changelog of SDK 5.Y.4, it says, that in version 5.Y.3 standalone mode for STM32G4 could not be processed by cubeMX: So I thought maybe this is fixed in the new version, but apparently there is still something wrong. The OPAMP settings are as

Hello,We currently have a desktop application based on C# for communicating between ST25R3911B-DISCO board and ST25DV dynamic tag. The application itself is similar to ST PC software for ST25R3911B-DISCO board but with limited functionalities as currently we only need Fast Transfer Mode for communication. My PC software based on C# is able to perform inventory discovery successfully, and is also able to read the data from mailbox (verified by writing data to mailbox using ST software and reading data by using C# software). But issue arrives when i try to perform Mailbox write operation, the error returned is invalid command code for write operation. I looked at the ST25DV datasheet for RF commands and frame formats also the logs of the ST PC software to understand how the write operation data frame is transmiited but that's different from the data frame that's sent from my application. There are files in my project which adds the protocol header to data frame. So can anyone please help

May i know in what library used for push button or the example code for push button?

I am using ST25DV. Access from RF must be restricted.I'm trying to use RFSwitchOff / RFSwitchOn for this purpose, but NACK is returned. Before using these, I changed the I2C_CFG setting in the System register to 0x3A (I2C_DEVICE_CODE: 1010, I2C_E0: 1, I2C_RF_SWITCHOFF_EN, 1).I got the value of I2C_CFG of System register and confirmed that it is 0x3A.And I use the following address.RF SwitchOff: 0xA2(Slave address + W(0))RF SwitchOn: 0xAA(Slave address + W(0))Start condition + RF Switch Off or On->NACKPlease give me some advice to solve this problem
