I am using ST25DV04K Tags, sometimes the NDEF Message gets corrupted.So i can't rewrite an NDEF Message because the tag is not formatted anymore, in Android is no problem, the writendef function reformat the tag, but in ios it's not the case. Is there a solution to reformat the tag from iOS ?

 HiI'm using ST25DV64KC, my I2C host is STM32G474There are two problem, need support. Please see detail. Thank you!1. I would like GPO generates a pulse when i2c write EEPROM(user memory)but it doesn't work, the GPO always output LowI have confirmed, the GPO_EN = 1 in GPO1 register, I2C_WRITE_EN = 1 in GPO2 register2.Can I use ST "NFC Tap" app for testing? How? Could you provide more detail information to me?EX. NFC Tap app send some RF command, and use I2C to read the data.

... I'm currently trying this on an STM32H7 nucleo board.Is it at all possible to use cubemx generated LWIP ? ... I don't think so!It must be said that there is a "no-go" point: It is completely unacceptable to choose a compiler version <= 5 in Keils latest uvision (37.0.0). There is no developer who could endure the compile times on larger projects (beyond 30 minutes). In this case the Keil support recommends switching to V6. And ok, if I switch to compiler version >= V6 in uvision, then I can compile very quickly. But, if I then want to use freertos, it no longer works. Freertos generated by Cubemx only works with V5 in uvision. But without freertos I can't activate the LWIP library, which I absolutely need for a web server. This means I will be forced to use V5, which is totally unacceptable. The freertos / compiler V5 problem has existed for years now, I`m patiently waiting for a fix. Is nobody interested in fixing it? This is probably due to the fact that the problem cannot

Hello,I want to learn how to write my own octospi external memory loader in STM32CubeIDE. I found example on https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32-external-loader/tree/main/STM32H7x_boards/MX25LM51245G_STM32H735G-DK but project is built with EWARM or MDK-ARM IDE.I generated new project and configured octospi interface in CubeIDE. Then I added files from this repository to communicate with the memory. Then I copied linker file from this repository: https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32-external-loader/tree/contrib/Loader_Files/H7%20deviceI generated .stldr file according to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqCq0xtQmbI&t=2s&ab_channel=STMicroelectronics, but when I added this file to STM32CubeProgrammer it shows error: Data read failed.I know that octospi interface is configured well because I can write bytes to memory and then read it by default external loader. I can also read mem ID which is C2 85 3AWhether these problems are caused by the linker file or

I made a High Speed USB DEVICE using USB PHY with STM32F207.When delivering data to the HOST, there are small-sized data (less than 512bytes) and large-sized data (more than 1Mbytes).At this time, I want to transfer small-sized data without using DMA, and I want to transfer large-sized data using DMA.For this purpose, DMA was set to DISABLE during initialization.hpcd_USB_OTG_HS.Init.dma_enable = DISABLE;And the following functions were created by referring to USB_CoreInit and USB_DevInit in stm32f2xx_ll_usb.c.void SetModeDMA ( uint8_t mode ) { USB_OTG_GlobalTypeDef *USBx = hpcd_USB_OTG_HS.Instance;   if ( mode == 1 ) { hpcd_USB_OTG_HS.Init.dma_enable = 1U; USBx->GAHBCFG |= USB_OTG_GAHBCFG_HBSTLEN_2; USBx->GAHBCFG |= USB_OTG_GAHBCFG_DMAEN; USBx->GINTMSK &= ~USB_OTG_GINTMSK_RXFLVLM;   } else { hpcd_USB_OTG_HS.Init.dma_enable = 0U; USBx->GAHBCFG &= ~USB_OTG_GAHBCFG_HBSTLEN_2; USBx->GAHBCFG &= ~USB_OTG_GAHBCFG_DMAEN; USBx->GIN

Currently I am trying to use ibis model for simulation. I found ibis model file provided by STMicro and try to use them. But I could not figure out which model pointed by model selector I should use. For example, there are 24 candidates of the model for PA0. But I don't know which one for my project. Actual .ibs files is like below. Thanks. I made a High Speed USB DEVICE using USB PHY with STM32F207.A data transmission test to the host is in progress, and transmission is possible up to the size of 0x7FFFF, but it cannot transmit more than that.When referring to stm32f2xx_ll_usb.c, the maximum transfer size can be specified up to 0x7FFFF.#define USB_OTG_DIEPTSIZ_XFRSIZ (0x7FFFFUL << 0U)USBx_INEP(epnum)->DIEPTSIZ |= (USB_OTG_DIEPTSIZ_XFRSIZ & ep->xfer_len);What should I do if I want to transmit more than 0x80000 data?For exampleTransmit data below 0x7FFFF -> Wait for transmission completion -> Transmit data below 0x7FFFF -> Wait for transmission completion -> ... -> Transmit the last data -> Wait for transmission completion -> DoneIs it possible to transmit only in this way?

Context: I'm writing my first STM32 "from the ground up" project. Notepad++ and GCC in command line (Windows 10) are my IDE. I've never done this before, so I'm learning ropes, taking first look into assembly (but keeping own assembly to a minimum, C does the job), writing my first makefile, linker script etc.. I've been working on my NVIC implementation, and I had a few questions I wanted to clarify. Searching the internet gave partial results. I would want to have a full picture from someone who knows the stuff better than I do.Windows 10, STM32F746 Discovery Board. No CMSIS, no nothing. Mainly C for now. So far, I've created my own vector table, placed .data and .bss where I wanted them to go (SRAM2, because SRAM1 is executable, and who knows if I get cute later and want to run something from SRAM for the fun of it). I successfully run main(void) after reset handler places all data where it's supposed to go.Question 1: can multiple interrupts be Active at the same time, or is strict

I have modified the BlueNRG sensor demo adding a new characteristic to turn on/off a LED. I want to be notified when the client (the smartphone) sends data so I can check the written value to change the LED status accordinly. I have tried many options but I am not being notified for writes, only for reads.This is the characteristic added (just bellow de humidity characteristic):COPY_LED_CHAR_UUID(uuid); ret = aci_gatt_add_char(envSensServHandle, UUID_TYPE_128, uuid, 2, CHAR_PROP_WRITE | CHAR_PROP_WRITE_WITHOUT_RESP, ATTR_PERMISSION_NONE, GATT_NOTIFY_WRITE_REQ_AND_WAIT_FOR_APPL_RESP | GATT_NOTIFY_ATTRIBUTE_WRITE, 16, 0, &ledCharHandle); if (ret != BLE_STATUS_SUCCESS) goto fail;   charFormat.format = FORMAT_UINT16; charFormat.exp = -1; charFormat.unit = UNIT_UNITLESS; charFormat.name_space = 0; charFormat.desc = 0;   uuid16 = CHAR_FORMAT_DESC_UUID;   ret = aci_gatt_add_char_desc(envSensServHandle, ledCharHandle, UUID_TYPE_16, (u

I would like to do UART communication using nucleo l4r5zi.I would like to do the pin setting, but I do not know how to do that.Please let me ask the following two questions here.1.Is my understanding correct that the pin settings for CN7, CN8, CN9 and CN10 of the nucleo l4r5zi have already been set and the pin settings are listed in table 11 on p36 of the manual below?STM32-Nucleo-144-User-Manual.pdf2.Since the functions of CN11 and CN12 are not specifically described, is it necessary to set the pins on the microcontroller side?If this is correct, please answer the following.I understand that the GPIOx_AFRH and GPIOx_AFRL are used to set the pin settings.These register specifications※ only state AF0, but do not state which function they are actually assigned to.How is the pin setting performed?※dm00310109-stm32l4-series-advanced-arm-based-32-bit-mcus-stmicroelectronics.pdf p347

I think I have had the same issue as: https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00001Z9hswSAB/code-generation-problem-for-rtc-with-stm32wlHowever that thread never got answered so I post again, this time with additional information.Im using STM32CubeIDE 1.9.0Build: 12015_20220302_0855With MXVersion: 6.5.0-RC4Build: 20220225-1913Original IOC File working.Then I enable RTC Calibration output on PA4This silently makes lorawan settings glitch. Very easy to miss.If I change "unknown" back to "RTC", then everything works as expected.But if code is generated now, then we will get the AfterGlitch.ioc file (attached) and and we have the issue of hrtc renamed to h (among other things), see image below.

I have been having much difficulty trying to port a custom USB HID protocol from a previous project using the STM32F405 to the STM32G431. Connection would initially be established, immediately followed by pipe errors. Eventually I found that if I downgraded from the V1.4.0 firmware package to the V1.3.0, the application was able to successfully establish USB communication with my PC. After some painstaking file comparison and testing with GIT, I found the lines of code in V1.4.0 that break USB HID communication:"Drivers/STM32G4xx_HAL_Driver/Src/stm32g4xx_hal_pcd.c" - line 1854: A conditional that checks for non bulk transactions that was removed from V1.4.0"Middlewares/ST/STM32_USB_Device_Libarary/Class/CustomHID/Src/usbd_customhid.c" - line 682: A call to "USBD_LL_PrepareReceive" was removed from the "USBD_CUSTOM_HID_DataOut" function.Restoring both of these lines restored USB functionality.

I've been working on the STM32H730 processor and have been struggling to get the FDCAN peripherals to switch between classical CAN and CAN FD for transmissions. It seems that when I'm transmitting as classical CAN everything works fine. Then when I stop the peripheral using HAL_FDCAN_STOP, reconfigure it to operate as CAN FD using HAL_FDCAN_Init, start the peripheral back up using HAL_FDCAN_START, and then perform a transmission I see the TX fail multiple times (AutoRetransmission is on) before finally succeeding. It always fails at least once, but sometimes see it fail 5+ times.I definitely could be doing something wrong, but I'm curious if anyone has done this successfully or if it's just not something that can be handled gracefully as its expected you choose one at startup and not switch, and this is just what you see if you try switching. Providing a snippet of a logic analyzer capture to show it "failing". First one is a successful classical TX, the rest are CAN FD attempts before

I wrote my own FIFO class that doesn't use dynamic memory allocation as far as I can tell. It has been working fine until I tried to increase the size of an array in the struct that my class puts in the FIFO. Here's the FIFO.hpp file:#pragma once   #include #include   using namespace std;   #include "main.hpp" //#include "C:\Users\gene\Documents\CPF\ElecEngr\cpfSTM32H7A3_SOM\Code\CPF_H7A3\CPF\ETL\include\etl\string.h" //#include "C:\Users\gene\Documents\CPF\ElecEngr\cpfSTM32H7A3_SOM\Code\CPF_H7A3\CPF\ETL\include\etl\queue.h"   //From https://www.techiedelight.com/queue-implementation-cpp/   class FIFO { public: FIFO(string qID) //TODO might want to pass struct to be queued in constructor instead of forcing it to be FIFORecord { head = 0; tail = -1; count = 0; qName = qID;   //etlTest(); }   struct FIFORecord //TODO it would be better to figure out a way to set the queue width and depth through the constructor { uint64_t tickstamp;

HiI am trying to enable the SWO to debug with printf. I have a NUCLEO L496ZG board. The ITM_SendChar function seems to get called but no data on the ITM console. What am I doing wrong?This is the main.c code:/** ****************************************************************************** * @file syscalls.c * @author Auto-generated by STM32CubeIDE * @brief STM32CubeIDE Minimal System calls file * * For more information about which c-functions * need which of these lowlevel functions * please consult the Newlib libc-manual ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * Copyright (c) 2022 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved. * * This software is licensed under terms that can be found in the LICENSE file * in the root directory of this software component. * If no LICENSE file comes with this software, it is provided AS-IS. * ****************************************************************************** */   /

Okay basically i have two question,[1]SWV ITM (printf) is not working with main.cpp(c++) but with main.c it works as a charm. The culprit seems to be is main.cpp but i have no idea how to make it work there.[2] The project is converted to C++ even though it produces main.c files instead of main.cpp. So i have to manually rename it to main.cpp . When ever i make any changes to .ioc the cubeMx inside of the cubeIDE produces the main.c instead of a c++. Is there any way to automatically generate source files in cpp extension because manually renaming it often leads to human error. Thank you.

Hi,We are using NFC tag IC ST25DV04K using I2C communication with our micro-controller.Is there any way to detect, if the NFC antenna is connected or not to ST25DV04K using any I2C command?Thank you in advance,Jignesh Patel

How to set RTC calendar for STM32F105RB. I see on reference manual but no RTC register that can set calendar.

Hi. Is it possible to generate code with CubeMX for multiple configurations, which can be initialized on-the-fly?Example: I have only one UART available, e.g. UART1, which can be connecrted directly via RS232 voltage translator, or when USB VBUS voltage is detected, I would like to route UART1 to (external) USB/UART bridge. To spare glue logic I would like to use different pin mapping. Within CubeMX I can configure only one pinout for UART1. Is there any option to configure single periphery (UART1) to more than one pinout configuration? Thanks. Marko

Hi, can i know what is the different between FlexPWM and PWM ?

Hi,My program works with gcc compiler optimization Ofast and g++ compiler optimization Og without any problem in STM32CubeIDE. I also use -fno-builtin-memcpy and -fno-builtin-memset. However, when I change g++ compiler optimization to Ofast, my code doesn't work. So, I can't be sure that -fno-builtin can work with Ofast.

Hi,I am using STM32H757 Evaluation board . I created dual core project using by referring the below linkhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jI1k6p-fduEI was able to create the project and compile the same as per the instruction mentioned in the above link.But while debugging the project I was not able to debug both the cores since the code in going in error handler in case of M7 core and M4 core i was not able to stop the core since it is already running. refer the screen shot regarding the above mentioned issue, On running both the core, the debugger terminated for the M4 core. let me know what is the issue in the project. Also find attached project for reference.BR,Gaurav More
