I copied the code for my timer setup, and the plan was every time the capture compare was equal the CC1IF would set and I toggle the LED in the IRQHandler; however, upon loading in the code it seems the IRQHandler only gets called once to turn the LED on, and then never again. The clock is set to the default of 4MHzvoid timer_config(){ RCC->APB1ENR1 |= RCC_APB1ENR1_TIM2EN; // Enable TIMER 2 clock TIM2->CR1 &= ~TIM_CR1_DIR;      // Counting direction: 0 = up-counting, 1 = down-counting TIM2->PSC = 3;    // Prescaler = 3 // 4MHz/(1+PSC) = 4MHz/4 = 1MHz //Target PWM frequency = 100Hz // ARR=1MHz /100 Hz-1=9999 TIM2->ARR = 9999;          // Auto-reload: Upcouting (0..ARR),Downcouting (ARR..0) TIM2->CCMR1 &= ~TIM_CCMR1_OC1M;    // Clear ouput compare mode bits for channel 1 TIM2->CCMR1 |= TIM_CCMR1_OC1M_1 | TIM_CCMR1_OC1M_2; // OC1M = 110 for PWM

Hello dear,I will use "STM32H735RGV6" with an external crystal. In the datasheet, it is stated that "External oscillators: 4-50 MHz HSE". However, in CubeIde I cannot assign 50MHz since it is limited to 48MHz. Could you help with this issue?

Hello,I'm using STM32WB55 in conjunction with freeRTOS OSI found a very good I2C BARE-METAL working example located at:..\STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.12.1\Projects\P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo\Examples\I2C\I2C_TwoBoards_AdvComITI'm looking for a similar I2C Example, however based on and using freeRTOS implementationThanks In Advance,Micha

I am working on power management and I put MCU in sleep mode (no low-power), but it doesn't wake up when it receives a CAN frame, it stays in sleep mode. I would like any CAN frame to wake up the MCU.To switch to sleep mode I use :HAL_SuspendTick(); HAL_TIM_Base_Stop(&htim1); HAL_PWR_EnterSLEEPMode(PWR_MAINREGULATOR_ON, PWR_SLEEPENTRY_WFI); HAL_TIM_Base_Start(&htim1); HAL_ResumeTick(); tick_sleep = HAL_GetTick(); Can Bus configuration:void MX_CAN_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN CAN_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END CAN_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE BEGIN CAN_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END CAN_Init 1 */ hcan.Instance = CAN1; hcan.Init.Prescaler = 6; hcan.Init.Mode = CAN_MODE_NORMAL; hcan.Init.SyncJumpWidth = CAN_SJW_1TQ; hcan.Init.TimeSeg1 = CAN_BS1_2TQ; hcan.Init.TimeSeg2 = CAN_BS2_1TQ; hcan.Init.TimeTriggeredMode = DISABLE; hcan.Init.AutoBusOff = ENABLE; hcan.Init.AutoWakeUp = ENABLE; hcan.Init.AutoRetransmission = ENABLE; hcan.Init

The datasheet on the LSM9DS1 chip on page 47 is very unclear on how the configuration of filters is supposed to work. They just tell that the fields INT_SEL and OUT_SEL are existing and give this diagram: I have hard time trying to understand what those dashed lines might mean. Why are they dashed? I understand that INT_SEL and OUT_SEL are similar. So, I give just one table below. I tend to decipher the situation this way:Can anybody comment if my guess is right and what should I put into the missing fields?

An expensive device is being repaired, in one of the voltage generation circuits there is an element ST E CUG C511 having a SMB case. On the diagram, it is denoted by the abbreviation CR, which is denoted elsewhere by the Zener dione. The device was produced in 2006, the searching for marking did not give any results.

Hello, I many years used ST-Link to download my framework to STM32, so I am not new in this.But now - I used all available settings in - ST-LINK software (under reset, hot, normal, with different frequency). I pushed reset in the boards, I connected boom0 to 3.3V to GRN. I used many jumpers in the Nucleo board.How it is happened!Initially this boards worked. I created simple code - for turn on LED. After that I decided to test the wireless connection and uploaded the .hex file from here - P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo\Applications\BLE\BLE_HeartRate\Binary it was not successful attempt, BUT after that I could not establish connection with boards, please the images.  How I can fix it?

I try to make an application with STM32H745I_DISCO. After I enable TouchGFX, and generate code, the project fails to compile.Did ST started supporting TouchGFX officially on STM32H745I controllers ?Is there any official documentation/guidelines ?If anyone is successful in doing the same, please share a demo project with CubeIDE. I don't have access to any other compiler.

Hello Newbie question here, so i was working for with the stm32mp157 for quite a while now .the boot process for me was flashing an SD Card or a USB stick and boot the thing up. How ever i was wondering if there is a method to load openstlinux or just u-boot into RAM and Un-mount the disk or something and the Linux will keep working like with Ubuntu (Boot to Ram) ? if so how to do it ? Thank you

I have the imu 10dof and i got raw data of accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetic. And i calculate the roll, pitch, yaw base on equation same in picture. i had calibrate accelerometer and magnetic. in the picture, show the data of magnetic before and after calibrate. But the yaw angle is not linear. I rotate the imu from 0 to 30 degree but yaw data is 0 - 5 degree, rotate the imu from 30 to 60 degree but yaw data is 5 - 15 degree, rotate the imu from 60 to 90 degree but yaw data is 70 - 115 degree.my english is not good, please help me.thanks!

I have got a custom PCB using STM32F4. I don't have any capacitor connected to the VCAP Pin and I wonder if this is necessary or not. Which is the use of VCAP and do I need to add it to my design? What can I do to solve my problem of no having one if necessary (I supose it is not a good practice to place one in a bad way due to EMIs and bad behaviour of the capacitor in general)?Thank you.

We use Rfal library for ST53L1X application. In demoNfcv(), the write and read is ok, when using rfalNfcvPollerWriteSingleBlock().For testing multiple blocks writing performanace, we modified the program as code attached.with rfalNfcvPollerWriteMultipleBlocks, no data were written to tag. There is no change in tag blocks. Coould you givie any hits for this issure?best regardsDai Sai

The STM32 Selection Guide 2021 Shows that STM32F407VET6 contains 512K flash, but actually the flash could be wroten from address 0x0800 0000 to the 0x080F FFFF, So what's the problem?!

Dear Community,I would like to request manufacturing additional board for a project but currently PCB assembling partner doesn't have STM32F407ZET6 in stock but it has STM32F407ZGT6.Basically, these two MCUs have the same capabilities except ZGT6 has double amount of flash memory which I don't need to use.Should I afraid loading the same software in ZGT6 would cause problems?So I would only use 512kB of flash but I would like to download the same firmware.It is because I have an own boot loader and remote upgrade possibility and I would not like to handle two separate chips for remote upgrade because of the inability to source the very same chip.Theoretically they should not have more difference other than their flash size.Do anyone have any experiences or ideas?Also, would development environment (STM32CUBEIDE) allow programming a ZET6 project into a ZGT6 chip?Thank you your help in advance.

Hello everyone ~Below link is my last question about display quality of dual screen. Fortunately I solved it but I faced other problem. https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00001mHWaWSAW/stm32mp1-can-i-duplicate-ltdcrgb-signal-for-dual-displayAs I mentioned in the above question, I want to implement dual screen that display same contents same time.My TFT-LCD's resolution is 1280x800 (10.1inch).so HDMI also has to has 1280x800 same resolution with LCD. The monitor or TV that support 1280x800 resolution in EDID display well both all.Below is "modetest" log when work fine.root@stm32mp15-prox:~# modetest -M stm -c Connectors: id encoder status name size (mm) modes encoders 33 32 connected HDMI-A-1 480x270 1 32 modes: index name refresh (Hz) hdisp hss hse htot vdisp vss vse vtot) #0 1280x800 59.91 1280 1328 1360 1440 800 803 809 823 71000 flags: phsync, nvsync; type: driver props: 1 EDID: flags: immutable blob blobs:   value: 00ffffffffffff001e6db85a01010101 0118010380301

Id like to write a program to read 2 main frequencies, first one from velocity sensor and second from ignition coil. Both of them to build a car gauge dashboard, (there'll be a few more analog signals to read tough).Given that i come from atmega 328 that has only one input capture module, id like to know if the stm bluepill has the capacity to read both frequencies in the same chip... I'll need to read 2 frequencies, read analog signals, writing steps bits to update gauges and display data in tft 2.4'' module, so im lookinf for advice about selecting the right chipRegardsJulian

Decawave dont deliver any of the example for this board

Using SPC582B chip with only 64 pins, the nexus interface pins will not be available.Does this mean that there are no trace possibilities ?

Hello,I struggling with MCSDK 5.Y.3 to control a 24V, 15 poles pairs, 300 rpm hooverboard-style BLDC motor, nearly no load, with a Nucleo F401 and a IHM08M1 power board.I try to use FOC control with 526 PPR quadrature encoder as main sensor as I want to drive this motor at low RPM (< 10 RPM). I flash the generated code on the Nucleo and then use Motor Pilot to test.Once the encoder alignment phase ends in Motor Pilot, I'm unable to control the motor: it does not even moves, whatever the direction and the speed I set through the GUI. I can hear some commutation noise, and the transistor on the IHM08 are slightly heating (~30°C after few min). I get no error in the GUI.However, if I give some momentum manually to my motor, it starts to turns and stabilizes at the speed set in the GUI, but then changing the speed in the GUI does not change the speed of the motor. This behaviour happens in only one (the negative) direction: if I give momentum in the opposite direction, the motor simply

I am using an STM32F407 MCU as an I2C master, my code built on the LL API of the STM32F4Cube IDE (version 1.25.0). I find that quite often, i.e. always within a handful of bytes, the BTF flag fails to set when I am doing a multi-byte TX. Single-byte TXs always work, it is only multi-byte TXs that suffer from this problem. I do not appear to receive a NACK from the far end (i.e. I2C_FLAG_AF is not set while I'm waiting for BTF to set), just not a "set-BTF".What reasons might there be for this?My code follows the pattern of stm32f4xx_hal_i2c.c as closely as possible and can be found here, where this is the send() function that gets stuck. Below is a sample log of a problem case (you can match the log points with the code), a millisecond timestamp on the left: you can see that the BTF flag is normally set almost immediately (within the millisecond resolution of my timestamp) until suddenly it is not, even after waiting for 10 milliseconds.24876: EVENT_i2c1: TXing this many bytes 8 24876:

According to the datasheets for the L9963E and L9963, they state they are both "a Li-ion battery monitoring and protecting chip." There is no explicit mention that they won't work with LiFePO4 batteries and it's unclear if ST includes LiFePO4 batteries under "Li-ion" batteries. Want to confirm if LiFePO4 can be used with these chips.

Hello,We are in process of selecting a suitable BLE SoC for an industrial sensor network design which would support coded PHY LR communication. The BLUENRG-355Ax MCU fits all the requirements perfectly except for one major point - Embedded Bootloader Errata.The Errata sheet says that the Embedded Bootloader would fail to boot up the chip properly if we enable readout protection and/or disable SWD. This is disastrous since our BLE applications require the peripherals to securely connect to the central device and for security the internal flash is preferred to store keys. Could anyone from ST recommend a workaround for this? Has this been addressed in recent versions of the chip? And if so is there a way to ensure that we order the latest chips which probably won't have this issue?Thanks & Regards,Mayuresh Manjrekar
