I am trying to implement a simple soundcard from using STM32F407G-DISC1 board. It utilizes STM32F407. I am using CubeIDE version 1.10.1I configured the USB to be Full-speed Device Only. And I configured the middleware as Audio class.I set the the heap size at 0x4000, and stack size at 0x2000.When I connect it via the USB, Windows surely recognizes it as "Speakers".I know that when the microcontroller receives Audio data, I should have access to the samples in the "AUDIO_AudioCmd_FS" function. The problem is that, when I send Audio data to the microcontroller, the AUDIO_AudioCmd_FS function gets called only once, and it does not get called again. No matter how many times I resend Audio data from the PC to the microcontroller, the AUDIO_AudioCmd_FS function does not get called again. Can anyone please help me with this issue?

1) STM32CubeMX Version 4.26.1, STM32Cube V1.0, using firmware package STM32Cube MCU Package for STM32L4 Series 1.12.0 (22 May 2018)2) New Project, STM32L476RE, USB Device, class for FS IP Audio Device class, configure RCC + 3 GPIO's because of how my development board is setup and thats it.3) Generate TrueStudio project and open with Atollic TrueSTUDIO for STM32 v9.14) Run / Debug5) Windows enumerates the USB Audio Device6) Click the Mute button on the Windows volume on the taskbar to send a SET_CURRENT request to mute the device, packet can be verified on the Device Monitoring Studio7) The first SET_CURRENT request arrives at USBD_AUDIO_Setup. However, if you put a breakpoint there, USBD_AUDIO_Setup never gets called again, even when clicking the mute again. You can see on Device Monitoring Studio that down packets are still sent.It looks like calling USBD_CtlPrepareRx (because of needing to receive the SET_REQUEST data stage via USBD_AUDIO_EP0_RxReady) messes up the default control p

I'm trying to use the RX / TX interface on J5 on the B-G431B-ESC1.However, it looks like the ST-LINK daughterboard uses those pins too. I know I can snap off the daughterboard, but I still want to be able to use the ST MCSDK tools, switching back and forth as needed.Unfortunately, a HW is a pain as the lines are simply shared and there's no good solder pads on the ST-LINK daughterboard and the ESC board to make a jumper. What would be even better though, is being able to get the stm32 103 chip on the daughterboard to simply tri-state those lines when they are not being used.If I don't power the daughterboard, the MCU drags the lines down too far, if I power through USB and / or 12v on the main + - pins for the motor and battery elimination circuit, then the 103 is actively trying to drive those lines, making the ones on J5 useless.Any ideas? Is there any way to do this?

Hi, with my team we are currently investigating the low power features of the STM32L4R9 MCU on a DISCOVERY board. We are measuring the current consumption on JP1, plugging an external amperemeter between pins 3 and 2.We would like to check the datasheet figures while entering in the different stopModes (0, 1 and 2) with this very simple code:int main(void) { __HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK_ENABLE(); HAL_PWREx_EnterSTOP0Mode(PWR_STOPENTRY_WFE); //HAL_PWREx_EnterSTOP1Mode(PWR_STOPENTRY_WFE); //HAL_PWREx_EnterSTOP2Mode(PWR_STOPENTRY_WFE); }We observe that whatever stop mode we use, we get the same current consumption which is around 0.3mA.This figure is far from the electrical characteristics where in stop2 we should have something around 10uA.We are wondering if the MCU correctly shutdown the main regulator in stop1 and stop2? Does anyone know how we can check this?We are also maybe missing some preliminary configurations, does anyone have any advice or piece of code to achieve better co

Hello, I am new to stm32F4 software programming. I'm working on a project to interface a TFT LCD screen with an STM32F429.I did the necessary configuration with cubemx and now I opened the project with cubeide. on description of display it is noted that these drivers are needed there: LI6122 + ILI5960OTA7001A+OTA9960A1-can you explain to me what this means?2- do I have to use these 4 drivers at the same time?3- should I find the c code for these drivers on the web? a corresponding library? or I have to program the driver myself. My goal is to interface my TFT LCD display with my board.I put here a photo on the outputs configured with cubemx, there are 23 pins configured for the LTCD.I can share my project but I judge that it is not necessary. Up to you.Thank you in advance for your answer.display reference: sh500j01z

I'm trying to download the standard library for the MCU stm8s003f on the ST site, but I get the message "not available for download". Is there an alternative way to get this library?

Hello,I am using the TouchGFX Designer to make screens on the display on the STM32H7B3I-EVAL board. I have run through the tutorials, so I feel pretty familiar with how to use TouchGFX. My next goal is to have data displayed on the screen that was gathered by another peripheral on the evaluation board (i.e. the CAN bus peripheral). I can add code to the main.c, but I am unsure how to link that data to the ScreenXView.cpp files. Can someone please explain how to do that?

Hello STM32-Team,do i have to use the MLPF-WB55-02E3 or MLPF-WB55-01E3 matching network for UFBGA129. In the Appnote AN5165 (Table 6) the matching network MLPF-WB55-01E3 matching network is recommended, but in the Datasheet of the MLPF-WB55-01E3 its only for the STM32WB55Cx/Rx. In the MLPF-WB55-02E3 datasheet its for the STM32WB55Vx and the UFBGA129 would be the STM32WB55Vx.So im a bit confused whats the right choice for the UFBGA129.Thanks an Greetings,Matthias

Hi, I need help to compile, build and upload a C++ code on an STM32MP157F-DK2 board. Can anyone help me? Thanks

Respected Sir/Mam , I cannot able use the keyboard example in the ongoing project of the same screen in STM32H7B3I-EVAL.When I have tried to insert it, it is not visible and having blank code inside it. Although Touch GFX 4.17 version has that facility.

I am using Nucleo-L476 board and NFC06A1.With the Free RTOS sample (ST25NFC_Embedded_Lib_ST25R3916_1.4.0, FreeRTOS_polling), I am aleady verified the NFC card operation with the SPI interface.I tried to check the operation with I2C instead of SPI, but it did not work, so please inquire.* Apply UM2616 documnet 3.5.1 item 1) H/W setup • solder ST2 and ST4 jumpers • solder R116 and R117 pull-up resistors • remove the SPI solder bridge(R205) • put the I²C solder bridge(R204) 2) S/W setup • set RFAL_USE_I2C in the pre-processor • rename USE_HAL_SPI_REGISTER_CALLBACKS by USE_HAL_I2C_REGISTER_CALLBACKS* Status Within the "st25r3916Initialize" function, it proceeds only to the "st25r3916ExecuteCommand( ST25R3916_CMD_SET_DEFAULT )", and does not proceed any further.Inside the "BSP_I2C1_SequencialSend" function, the "hi2c->State" value does not change to HAL_I2C_STATE_READY.To use I2C interface, is there anything else to add other than 3.5.1 items of the UM2616 article?

Hello guys,First of all I want to say that I don't like and don't use HAL library. Use LL_Library instead as long as possible. Now what brings me here is that currently I am manually porting FreeRTOS to an STM32469NI MCU. This force me to use a different time base other than the Systick. I have realized that when using another timebase source ( example TIM1), STM32Cube MX autogenerated code always includes and initialize the HAL library in mainMy question: is there a workaround to get rid of the HAL library in this case and work exclusively with LL?Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated

Hi All,I have a STM32H7 master communicating with I2C to 4 STM32F0 slaves. The I2C uses DMA but intermittently stalls when the master is transmitting to a slave. It sends the address and the first data byte successfully (acknowledged), but then fails to transmit the second data byte and the clock is held low. No errors are returned, but the driver waits indefinitely for the transmission to complete (which it never does). There is a screenshot of the bus stalling attached.Note, the I2C buffers have been located in non-cached memory and is accessible by DMA.Is anyone aware of any issues with transmitting I2C using DMA?Kind RegardsDavid

In UM1718, it states that IPCC is only used for the STM32MP1 series.I understand that I need to update the version that I'm using however, I do not want to loose and have to restart again for our project. Furthermore, I've tried to use the H747 and other dual core MCU's but, only the series MP1 indicates the IPCC.I need to communicate and share data from CM7-CM4 and visa versa.is there a way to setup IPCC in Cube MX 6.3 or do I need to use STM32 Cube H?If I can use the current version I have, how do I establish a communication link between cores in Cube MX? Please recommend the documentation that I would need. AHB, Simplex Communication I've studied but, I have not solidified the setup. Thanks,Hiram

I noticed a problem with STM32CubeIDE 1.10.1:When build, a second time, the same files as before get compiled again. All my projects were migrated from 1.9.Steps to reproduce:Modify a fileRun the build, it compiles that fileRun the build, it compiles that file againRun the build, it finally does not compile that fileThank you

I want to enable the RTOS Proxy in the debug launch configuration for my STM32CubeIDE project. However, in the "Driver settings" fieldset, I need to select a "Port" from a dropdown. The options in that dropdown confuse me. I have an STM32WB55, which to my knowledge is considered an MCU, not MPU, and it consists of an ARM Cortex M0 + ARM Cortex M4. My application is running on the M4, since M0 is dedicated to BLE.The 3 dropdown options for M0/M4 are 1) "ARM_CM0", 2) "ARM_CM4F" and 3) "ARM_CM4_MPU" - but my code runs on M4, so 1) is probably not right, I don't use the STM32F-Series, so 2) is probably not right, and the WB55 is not an MPU, so 3) is probably not right either. I am certain that my naive interpretation of those cryptic port abbreviations is wrong for at least one of the options. So - what is the right selection to make?

Hello,I am trying to get information from two analog sensore (FSRs) by using two seperated data lines (PB0 as IN15 and PA7 as IN12) through ADC1(Not important note - I created unint32s for debuging and I am willing to transfer the data by using CANBUS as you can see in the main.c)The problem:I am getting the information from the sensors, but the data of one sensor gets corrupted by the other one. For example if I pinch the left FSR his data chanegs from 10 to 4095 but if I pinch the right sensor, the left sensor data still changes but from 10 to 800. The exact same thing happans both sides. What could be the problem? How can I make the data line seperated from eachothers?I am attaching the main.c and the configurations. In addition its on Circular Mode, Increment address is only Memory and with Data Width of a Word Thank you,Raam Kavod

Hello everyone,I am using an STM32H723ZG MCU and wanted to use ADC scan conversion with DMA. I could implement what I wanted there is just one thing I do not fully understand related to it.I am using ADC3 whose maximal resolution is 12 bit. Based on the reference manual of the MCU, the data of the ADC conversion is stored in a 16 bit register. When I configure the DMA, I have to choose Word as the data width. Word means 32 bit here.My question is: Why? Why do I have to set the data width of the DMA 32 bit if the result of the ADC conversion is stored in a 16 bit register? Thanks in advance,GVG

Hi all,I'm trying to write in the internal flash memory of my new MCU (STM32L496VGYXP),but FLASH_WaitLastOperation fails. The error seems to be FLASH_SR_PGSERR .I'm sure that my code used to write flash memory is correct because in others projects it works perfectly. In the others projects I used the following MCU:STM32L496RGTXSTM32L452RETXSTM32L432KCUXSTM32L496ZGTXCan this problem related with the new MCU?What could I try to do in order to fix it?Thanks in advance--Mario
