I know TouchGFX Designer GUI is a Windows only app, but is there any way to only run the generator tool (tgfx.exe) to generate all files of a .touchgfx project on a linux machine via command line?

I'm trying to use STM32F730 for MODBUS communication. The datasheet and reference manual both shows support for MODBUS. However the problem is :when i use cubemx for configuration purpose it generated following message "This peripheral has no parameters to be configured".Further i generated the code when i check code using IDE the USART initilization function has no code and it appears as follows:static void MX_USART1_Init(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN USART1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END USART1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN USART1_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END USART1_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN USART1_Init 2 */ /* USER CODE END USART1_Init 2 */}As per my understanding this initialization function is not correct. So all of you are requested to help me to understand what is the issue.Regards

Hello,I am looking to implement BLE MESH onto the WB10, however there are not any tutorials. I usually import the NUCLEO-WB15 onto the WB10 as they are similar bar a few config values but there aren't any WB15 MESH examples either, just the WB55. Has anyone got a BLE MESH example for the WB15 or WB10?

Hello,I recently purchased STM's BLE nucleo expansion board, which works without issue. I am reviewing the software to develop my understanding and had a question regarding the MAC address. They are typically a unique address to the specific chip that is used and that every manufactured piece had a different MAC address. However, for the sample code (SensorDemoBLE), I never had to put in the IDB05A2's BLE MAC address. It knew, which means that every IDB05A2 must have the same MAC address. Judging by this, is this assumption about the MAC address being unique wrong? In other words, if I ordered another Bluetooth BlueNRG-M0A chip, would it also have the same MAC address as the sample code?

Hi team, I have been asked to work on STM32WLE5JC development kit. So, I have purchased one kit online. Meanwhile, I would like to know which IDE (for coding) is best to work with the kit as well as the other necessary hardware and software tool chain suitable for my purpose.Thanks.

I'm looking for prototyping daughterboards for the STM32H757I-Eval boards. Is that something that is readily available or are we on our own for building those? If I need to build my own boards, what is the best connectors for those male pins located on the board? They seem like a tight pitch and isn't something I'm familiar with.

Hi, I have STM32F4 and I am trying to send list of messages in order with CAN BUS:// CAN BUS message data list in particular order // 01FFFFFFFFFFFFFF // 02FFFFFFFFFFFFFF // 03FFFFFFFFFFFFFF // 04FFFFFFFFFFFFFFI have AutoRetransmission enabled, because sometimes it fails to transmit message. hcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = ENABLE;The issue I am observing is that message list does not arrive in the same order:// CAN BUS message data list received in bad order // 01FFFFFFFFFFFFFF // 04FFFFFFFFFFFFFF // <-- bad order // 02FFFFFFFFFFFFFF // 03FFFFFFFFFFFFFFIs this a bug? How do I keep messages in same order which I want to send?

Hi all ~I'm going to use proftpd to support FTP server.first, I installed proftpd package from OpenSTLinux repository. apt-get install proftpd And I tried to run proftpd with my configuration file.but I got some error like below. proftpd[5128]: fatal: unknown configuration directive 'AuthUserFile' As far as I know, proftpd has several modules related each features. And the module I need is mod_auth_file. so I checked proftpd's module list like below. But there is no mod_auth_file module I want. root@stm32mp1-prox-mx670:/home/hantas# proftpd -vv ProFTPD Version: 1.3.7c (maint) Scoreboard Version: 01040003 Built: Mon Aug 30 2021 00:22:56 UTC   Loaded modules: mod_auth_pam/1.2 mod_facts/0.6 mod_delay/0.7 mod_site.c mod_log/1.0 mod_ls.c mod_auth.c mod_auth_unix.c mod_rlimit/1.0 mod_xfer.c mod_core.cproftpd man page is described that mod_auth_file module is compiled by default. But there is option to disable mod_auth_file module at compile time. Hi there:We are going to use NUCLEO-L432KC. The MCU is STM32L432KCU6U. Its main clock HSE is the MCO output of the ST_Link MCU. The NUCLEO-32 PCB has quite a few power options. We are going to use the external +5V mode (+5V on CN4 Pin 4). However, the 3.3V to ST_LINK is not powered by this +5V according to the schematic, and there is no MCO clock because the ST_LINK MCU is not working if external +5V only. So, the MCU can't be HSE clocked when using +5V. Am I reading these correctly? Thanks for help.-WQ

I am trying to power a Nucleo64-l452RE externally, connecting 2xAA on JP6 VDD pin, but it doesn't start, I added a resistor to NRST, I am not sure if it is necessary, manual command to cut the stlink boad side, there is no other option ?reference: um1724-stm32-nucleo64-boards-mb1136-stmicroelectronics

I'm using the STM32L010 chip and am trying to write a routine to allow me to get a delay of 10uS. But when I try to add this:/** * @brief This function provides a delay (in microseconds) * @param microseconds: delay in microseconds */_STATIC_INLINE void DWT_Delay_us(volatile uint32_t microseconds){ uint32_t clk_cycle_start = DWT->CYCCNT; /* Go to number of cycles for system */ microseconds *= (HAL_RCC_GetHCLKFreq() / 1000000); /* Delay till end */ while ((DWT->CYCCNT - clk_cycle_start) < microseconds);} to my header file I get this error:../Core/Inc/dwt_stm32_delay.h: In function 'DWT_Delay_us':../Core/Inc/dwt_stm32_delay.h:30:29: error: 'DWT' undeclared (first use in this function)  30 | uint32_t clk_cycle_start = DWT->CYCCNT;I guess I'm not INCLUDEing the proper header file. I added "#include "stm32l0xx_hal.h" but that didn't help.Any ideas?Thanks,Richard

I have read quite a few posts, reference, and KBs trying to get this to work - but I'm stuck.Challenge: Trying to get STM32H745 working with ADC1 (and eventually ADC3) with DMA.What I am experiencing: All my results are coming back as "65535" (even when there is not a 3.3V on the input)What I've done/read:I've referred to this KB quite a bit:https://community.st.com/s/article/FAQ-DMA-is-not-working-on-STM32H7-devicesSo I have an understanding of some of the challenges. I am using "Solution example 3: Use Cache maintenance functions" as my guide. However, it's unclear to me if I need to make an effort to move the memory locations as in "Solution example 1" and "Solution example 2".Relevant code:main.c/* MPU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ MPU_Config();   /* Enable I-Cache---------------------------------------------------------*/ SCB_EnableICache();   /* Enable D-Cache---------------------------------------------------------*/ SCB_E

Hi sirs,I have a ST25R3911B-Disco (NFC board) on hand, and my platform is STM32F767IGT6.My question is how to integrate the X-CUBE-NFC5 code to my existed project (Keil uVision5), I simply copy the major .c and .h files from RFAL and BSP folder to the project but got many errors. Is there any tutorial shows on how to add the code to a project or which software I need to use to build a new project with X-CUBE-NFC5?Best regards,Joe

ToughGFX Designer: 4.20.0STM32Cube IDE: 1.11.0Hello there,i'm using touchgfx to show received data usingUnicode::snprintf(FenceNumBuffer, FENCENUM_SIZE, "%d", g_displayCtlBlk.fenceConfigS1);Recently I found if I place FenceNum.resizeToCurrentText();directly after Unicode::snprintf(FenceNumBuffer, FENCENUM_SIZE, "%d", g_displayCtlBlk.fenceConfigS1);the character in the MSB of FenceNumBuffer will still remain in the buffer (on the display the current number will be mixed with the old long number). However, if this resize function is placed after invalidate function (or without resize function), although in the FenceNumBuffer there still exits old value, it seems the terminal \0 did work, it prevents showing the old value. Is there anyone, who can explain this phenomena?Best regardsJ.Pan

Hi,I encounter an extraordinary problem with STPMIC1APQR. When powering on the board without loading any images voltages on each section are as described in the PMIC documentation. When I start fsbl the voltages change, and increase not as described in the dts.My dts configuration is as follows&i2c4{ pinctrl-names = "default", "sleep"; pinctrl-0 = <&i2c4_pins_mx &i2c4_pins_z_mx>; pinctrl-1 = <&i2c4_sleep_pins_mx &i2c4_sleep_pins_z_mx>; status = "okay";   /* USER CODE BEGIN i2c4 */ i2c-scl-rising-time-ns = <185>; i2c-scl-falling-time-ns = <20>; clock-frequency = <400000>; /delete-property/ dmas; /delete-property/ dma-names;   pmic:stpmic@33{ compatible = "st,stpmic1"; reg = <0x33>; interrupts-extended = <&exti_pwr 55 IRQ_TYPE_EDGE_FALLING>; interrupt-controller; #interrupt-cells = <2>; status = "okay";   regulators{ compatible = "st,stpmic1-regulators"; buck1-supply = &l

I have a project with a rotary encoder and I'm trying to use one of the timers in encoder mode to keep it's position but I can't seem to get it working and I don't know what I doing wrong. Any help would be much appreciated, if any more information is needed I will do my best to provide it.The chip I am working with is an STM32G0B1CET6N. I am trying to use TIM1 to interface with the encoder. I have attached a screenshot of the code configurator of the pin assignments. The encoder I am using is from CUI part number ACZ11BR1E-15FD1-20C. I connected it using the recommended filter which is a 10k pull up and an RC filter with a 10k resistor and 0.01uF capacitor on both A & B encoder lines. I did notice while going back to gather information for this post that I actually got my parts wrong on my board and used 0.1uF capacitors instead. While this does probably explain rounded corners of the square wave I was seeing on the scope, I don't really think it is the cause of my issue. I didn't

I have a project with an STM32H745. After I opened it with CubeMX 6.7 and migrated the project I noticed there were many errors in the clock configuration. I recognized these errors as relating the the Voltage Scale setting. I noticed it was missing? Before: After:

I'm looking for an example for STM32F446 to use a S25FL64 QSPI with Memory Mapped configuration.I would like an example to be able to see the QSPI as address memory .Thanks all

I'm modifying code for a Atmega AVR to a STM32L03 and encounter ISR(USART1_START_vect). It is a function that is called when the UART receives a start frame. I'm a newbie to this STM32-processor but I have googled and checked in inc-files but I cannot find any suitable code. I'm using HAL for now. Have anyone a suggestion?Thanx

Document AN5554 Rev4(LoRaWAN® firmware update over the air with STM32CubeW) mentions, on page 60, about file fuota_automation.py. I can not find this file in software package for STM32WL. Is this file accessible to download?

When i run my code, something wrong with the gdb (like in the picture). Someone can help me pls?
