Hello everyone !I created a design based on this board from TI : TIDA-00325The goal is to create board converting a HDMI input in another format. I'm not really familiar with the HDMI protocol but it seems an EEPROM is often used with it, that's why I chose the M24C02-WMN6TP.I would like to know how this component is configured, do I need to configure it myself before or will it work just by connecting it on the I2C bus (already connected to the ITE6801FN and the HMDI port) ?Since english is not my first language, let me know if you want me to rephrase it or if I need to give further information.Best regards,Romain.

Hi, I'm using STM32F407 development board. I synchronized TIM2 as master and TIM5 as slave. Timer initialization functions:void TIM2Config (void) { // 1. Enable the TIM2 clock RCC->APB1ENR |= RCC_APB1ENR_TIM2EN; // 2. Set clock coeff. as 2, enable auto-reload preload TIM2->CR1 = TIM_CR1_CEN; TIM2->CR2 = TIM_CR2_MMS_1 | TIM_CR2_MMS_0; //TIM2->CR2 = TIM_CR2_MMS_2; TIM2->SMCR = TIM_SMCR_MSM; TIM2->CNT = (uint32_t) 0; TIM2->PSC = (uint32_t) 1-1; TIM2->ARR = (uint32_t) 84000-1; TIM2->CCR1 = (uint32_t) 16800-1; TIM2->RCR = (uint32_t) 0; TIM2->CCMR1 = TIM_CCMR1_OC1M_2 | TIM_CCMR1_OC1M_1; TIM2->CCER = TIM_CCER_CC1E; TIM2->DIER |= TIM_DIER_UIE; NVIC_EnableIRQ(TIM2_IRQn); }void TIM5Config (void) { // 1. Enable the TIM5 clock RCC->APB1ENR |= RCC_APB1ENR_TIM5EN; // 2. Set clock coeff. as 2, enable auto-reload preload TIM5->SMCR = TIM_SMCR_SMS_2 | TIM_SMCR_SMS_1 | 0UL << 4 | 0UL << 5| 0UL &l

Electronic Speed Control Debugging? What does this setting do?

Hi, I'm getting some nonsense values in Motor Pilot under "MC Configuration". It says there is no max app current or voltage, and my PWM frequency is something ridiculous. I've tried changing it to 25kHz and 20kHz, and these were the readings. I've never enabled position control, either--I cannot enable position control--yet it is enabled here. If I'm correct, medium frequency shouldn't be 0, either. What's the issue?? Oh, also I get some weird warning about demagnetisation. Can't remember touching that. Included image.

I am currently trying to read the value from a characteristic after detecting that the user has written to it.  I am calling aci_gatt_read_char_value() which is returning 0 (BLE success). From here I am expecting an event which triggers the aci_att_read_resp_event() function but I am not seeing that get called.However, I am seeing that the Custom_STM_Event_Handler(void *Event) gets called directly after I call this function and the event code is: I'm not sure what the issue here exactly. Should I be setting a flag and then calling the read function elsewhere? Or is there some other issue with my setup?Thanks very muchMaks

Hello all,I would like to put the CAN2 interface into operation on a NUCLEO STM32F466RE board. For this purpose I have programmed an example in which a BYTE array HELLO is to be sent in the loopback.If I now pass the TxHeader Struct to the HAL_CAN_AddTxMessage() method, this method is executed without error. The signal recording on the TX pin also shows a data transmission. It's just not the data I expected.My data from the TxHeader cannot be entered in the mailbox register. It looks like the registers are locked, although all mailboxes report that they are free.What else can I do wrong at this point?What else could be the reason that the mailbox cannot be written to?GreetingsMichael

I even installed the starter package in EMMC boot mode.And I want to install a developer package.I want to install SDK, can I use STM32MP157D-EV1 board using STM32Cube Programmer in Windows OS?Ubuntu 18.04 was installed in virtualbox and STM32Cubeprogrammer was installed. However, the program cannot read the STM32 board on the USB port.I want to install Ubuntu 18.04 on the STM32MP157D-EV1 board. Is there any way?

I am using the STM32MP157D-EV1 board.The starter package is currently installed in EMMC boot mode.the version is "ST OpenSTLinux - Weston - (A Yocto Project Based Distro) 4.0.4-openstlinux-5.15-yocto-kirkstone-mp1-v22.11.23 \n \l" .I need to install Ubuntu 18.04 on this board, but I don't know how. Do I have to delete the installed package now and install Ubuntu 18.04?Ah, I downloaded the ubuntu-18.04.6-desktop-amd64.iso file. I can use Windows 10 and Oracle virtualbox.I want to use Windows 10 if possible, but if it's impossible, I can also use Oracle virtualbox.

Hello, I have an application whereby we have one ST25R3916B connected to 8 different antennas through relays. We need to read each antenna but with about 5-10 seconds between. This should allow enough time to initialize each antenna including AAT. The question is how is the best way to do this with the RFAL? I'm using the Polling Demo as a starting point since that looked like the easiest. Is this the correct order of operations? Will this properly clear out any lower level state variables that should be cleared between the different antennas?Stop the IC, using rfalNfcDeactivate(RFAL_NFC_DEACTIVATE_IDLE)Pause rfalNfcWorker()<switch the antenna relay, and wait for it to settle>Do everything in demoIni(), includingrfalNfcInitialize()Configure the discParams, Next, do the stuff in state DEMO_ST_START_DISCOVERY, including:Deactivate again (???)rfalNfcDiscover with our discParamsNext, do everything in DEMO_ST_DISCOVERY to read the UUID of the tag and be done.

Hello,I am using STM32G030F6P6 in one of my projects. I am using STM32 CubeMx as my IDE.In the datasheet I can see that it has 64KB of flash. However IDE perceives this as 32KB and I can not upload my code. This is what I read from the console. Does anyone know how to fix this issue.ThanksMemory Programming ...Opening and parsing file: ST-LINK_GDB_server_a02624.srec File     : ST-LINK_GDB_server_a02624.srec Size     : 47.18 KB  Address    : 0x08000000 Erasing memory corresponding to segment 0:Error: Operation exceeds memory limits.

helloI am studying by purchasing the EVALSTPM32 Board and connecting it to a PC via USB to Serial.If you look at the datasheet of STPM32, you can use the SYN and SCS pins to request a reset operation when booting the chip.However, the EVALSTPM32 board cannot control SYN when looking at the USB to Serial connection.In addition, DSP_CR3 SW_RESET also exists in the STPM32 chip.Question 1. What is the difference between reset using SYN and SCS and SW_RESET during chip booting?Question 2. When using UART communication of STPM32, is there any problem if SYN and SCS are connected to VCC?thank you.

Hi,I have a USB host HID FS/LS on a nucleo board (also on definitive hardware this happens). It works with several keyboards (Logitech, Acer, china trades, ...).Today, I connected an HP slim keyboard 803181-071 SP provided with my computer and after reset it doesn't initititate the enumeration. Using a logical analyser I see that both lines DP+ and DM- go high after connecting the usb host and there are 3 to 4 pulses around 50us. I suspect whether this could be a "chirp" sequencie trying to connect to the USB FS/LS host. To fix it, I needed to add a short delay around 1~2ms inside the library function HAL_HCD_Connect_Callback(), to ignore those 3 or 4 short 50us pulses that take around 200us. Can this delay do any harm? Should this delay be already provided on the HAL USB library? To achieve this delay, HAL_Delay(2) can not be used because would be called inside the ISR HCD_Port_IRQHandler and will get blocked. I used a for to 20000 @ 120MHz to get 2ms.I'm using CubeIDE 1.11.0 and last

Hello,I'm currently facing an issue with a basic project to setup the SDMMC1 peripheral where the function HAL_SD_Init() fails. The issue is happening inside HAL_SD_Init(), in SD_PowerON(), where it always returns HAL_SD_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED_FEATURE. I'm using a custom board with the STM32H743XI MCU with an external clock of 26MHz and the STM32CubeH7_FW_H7_V1.11.0 package.Please find below a picture of the STM32CubeMX Clock configuration:Here is the code that setup the clock:void hw_port_clock_init(void) { hw_clock_system_clock_init(); hw_clock_init_peripheral_clocks(); } static void hw_clock_system_clock_init(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = { 0 }; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = { 0 };   // Supply configuration update enable HAL_PWREx_ConfigSupply(PWR_LDO_SUPPLY);   // Configure the main internal regulator output voltage __HAL_PWR_VOLTAGESCALING_CONFIG(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE1); while(!__HAL_PWR_GET_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_VOSRDY)) { }   __

STM32H745 IWDG if it reaches downcounter 0x0000, it mentions that system reset is generated.Is there any way to reset only M7 just or M4 just core.Also Errata Mentions that AXI domain is locked when watchdog reset is limited to CPU1 or CPU2 only.  Is there any way to reset single core without issue.

Hello,I am working on an IoT security project, where a TPM like STSAFE-A110 is required for signature verification and data decryption. The latter fails with the mentioned chip and the static (non-ephemeral) private key.Setup:X-NUCLEO-SAFEA1 board (with STSAFE-A110 TPM), pairing doneB-U585I-IOT02A MCU boardWindows 10 PCTera TermSTM32CubeIDEI have successfully run the Establish_Secret demo project, it shows ephemeral key usage: As I need the TPM's private key to survive the power cycle, I replace the ephemeral slot with the static slot 1, also on StSafeA_GenerateKeyPair call: The call to StSafeA_EstablishKey then fails with code 17 (STSAFEA_UNSATISFIED_ACCESS_CONDITION): Why does it fail? The documentation for STSAFE A110 clearly states that this feature is supported for slot 1 (document dm00675324): Thanks.

Hello, I've a strange problem and I can't find the answer on internet.I'm transmitting a data from UART2 of my STM32 Blue pill. Its just one line :- HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, (uint8_t*)Tx_msg, sizeof(Tx_msg), 100);While using with ST-Link, it works.When i connect micro usb from my laptop to Bluepill, it also works and transmits the data,But when i connect micro usb from 5V charger/adapter to Bluepill, it doesn't work. Bluepill is powered because LED is glowing but data isn't transmitted.I tried with various chargers of different power, but it doesn't work.Am i missing something?

Hello,I apologize if the answer is obvious but I want to confirm my understanding for the STUSB4710 (USB-C PD controller). Section 4.1 of the datasheet mentions that the default values for the voltage and current settings, which require NO I2C programming. I can optionally choose to overwrite these values via an I2C interface if I want. So if I use the 7.1. configuration, this means that, with no additional MCU, EEPROM or any other NVM, I can achieve:5V, 3A (15W)9V, 3A (27W)12V, 3A (36W)15V, 3A (40W)20V, 2.25A (45W)Is this logic correct?

Hi I want to use an EMMC( INSIGNIS NSEC53K) with STM32F405 SDIO interface. STM32F405 manual says: "Full compliance wit MhultiMediaCard System Specification Version 4.2."the EMMCwe have chosen: INSIGNIS NSEC53K. Its datasheet says:"Compliant with eMMC Specification Ver. 4.4, 4.41, 4.5, 5.0"Are these 2 kompatibel with each other? Will this work? At the moment I reach transferstate, but before I spend more time on it, it would be nice to know if there will be major issues.Which stm32 SDIO/SDMMC interfaces have a MMC spec version >= 4.4? Thanks

Is there the STM32U575I-EV Evaluation Board schematic somewhere? I cannot find it...

I am trying to connect to a Polar HRM with a STM32WB55 Nucleo board by modifying the BLE_p2pClient example. I tested the example and it worked in connecting to another ST board. Then I modified the code to connect to the UUID of the HRM I got from the scan, changing SERVER_REMOTE_BDADDR putting the UUID in reverse order. In the scan, I was able to find the exposed services to check if the scan was a success and got the UUID and RSSI from there. When I ran aci_gap_create_connection to connect, it returned a BLE_STATUS_SUCCESS, but I did not get a HCI_LE_CONNECTION_COMPLETE_EVENT like I did when I successfully connected to another ST board. I messed around with the connection interval, slave latency and supervision timeout, but still couldnt get the device to connect. I also am not seeing the complete name in the advertising data when I scan with the STM board, but I know its being advertised by checking with with a phone app and other device names are showing up as well. I tried the sam

I encountered a problem with inconsistent internal structure and marking for the same part number.We only found a document with such a problem.But it isn't suitable for this time.The document was published in 2014. It only mentions "T" and "K". But we need to explain "T" and "P".The detail as attachment. If they are the same in function?PCN MMS-MMY/14/8508 - Dated 16 Jul 2014
